Lovely place! There's a wonderful view of the hills, the outside patio has a wonderful atmosphere, the beers are excellent, and the staff for knowledgeable and courteous. Definitely recommended!

The staff was beyond amazing and I highly recommend sitting at the bar to get the faster experience. If you want to relax outside it will be a beautiful experience. Lastly the indoor dining is great if you just want a private low key experience.

This is the best Hapa's location. Their grilled cheese sandwich and chips is to die for. That gooey cheese and perfectly crispy grilled toast. Craving it right now actually! Oh and their beer selection is alright too. Just don't be too loud and be kind to the neighbors in the apartments next door. They will yell at you to be quiet!. Shout out to the guy taking names/numbers and bussing tables. I appreciate you!!

Great ambiance, family friendly. Good craft beer selection, a good variety. Small but tasty menu of appetizer and small portioned plates. The group I was with were hungry so a couple of them left there hungry. So I don't reccomend for dinner but definitely a spot to have a few beers, snack and enjoy your company. They also had space heaters at some of the tables.

Really good beer offering at affordable prices, better tasting than others in town. Tucked away a bit so you don't have to face the Los Gatos crowd. Love how they have outdoor space - open air and great for kids and dogs. Owner and workers are super friendly, they don't have the snobby brewery vibe some places have, which I appreciate. Good merch too.

We had the bruschetta and a Bavarian pretzel and both were fantastic! Fresh bread, and the pretzel was made from fresh dough. Then we did two flights of beers. All of them were delightful! I gave only 4 stars on the atmosphere because most of the seating were bar stools that were not large enough to get a good sized butt on them. I'm a large lady and I just couldn't sit on them. I found a bench to share with another couple eventually.

Nice place tucked away from the main drag in downtown Los Gatos. We only had beer flights here but the staff was super helpful in helping us pick what to get. Most the tables outside are bar height fyi.

The prices were very good for the brews as you can see from the price list. The pretzel was very good, my wife said it was better than the one I brought back from Munich Oktoberfest a few years ago. My kids liked the cinnamon bites, sodas for them were reasonable. I will definitely be back, has a good atmosphere both inside and at the outdoor seating area. Of note it's at the back of a parking lot but only has a few assigned spots their so be aware parking at the establishment could be an issue.

I was able to rent out the inside portion of the brewery, decorate, and choose my own music. The brews are always great, and the food was good. Everything went smoothly on the day of, and I still get compliments from friends and family on how it was a great place for our party. Highly recommend renting it out if you're looking for a place to celebrate an event!

busy local craft brewery with some outdoor seating (bring a sweatshirt since its in the afternoon shade) and a number of different types of beers. I enjoyed a couple of their IPA's- the Counter Clockwise and Golden Helix. Will drink here again!

Fun spot, Decent beer, charcuterie board was awesome. A pour house for the San Jose brewery, the staff seemed green and didn't know the beers. I had recently visited the actual brewery and they seemed more in tune with the product.

It's a hidden gem. It's actually in a fantastic location. In LG downtown but still feels away from it. Beer selection is great. Food selection is a little eclectic. More than the food quality itself which is great, it is the choice of food that is a bit of an issue.

Respectable beer offerings on semi-rotating taps. Usually find something new if not a previous favorite. Food limited but the grilled cheese is worthy. The recent addition of a gazebo structure makes for more comfortable seating until the sun drops behind the tall hotel wall next door. Wish they'd extend the flat patio further, hard to put your beer down on the tilted barrels on the sloped parking lot. Maybe they plan to reclaim those parking spots post-covid. Friendly folks.

We enjoyed our stop at Hapa’s in Los Gatos. There’s a dog friendly patio we took advantage of. Quite nice on a sunny day. We got a Belgian ale and a cider from their large tap selection. Our dog was disappointed that the patio seating (at least where we were) has a slight incline. He dropped the ball he had been carrying and it rolled away down the driveway from our table never to be seen again.

For the food we ordered empanadas, Sausage Sandwich which is actually a hot dog and avocado toast. One plate of avocado toast comes with 2 pieces. The empanadas are vegan and come with a stuffing of corn and other veggies. The sausage sandwich comes with a side of chips and dill pickle and pepper on top of a sausage in a hot dog bun and some sauce. The food tasted good but definitely less options.

The waitstaff took a while to come out so we could order. And it was freezing outside with rain, but they kept this large closable window open anyways. The beer options WERE great and we did end up taking home one of their growlers. I guess they had board games available, but we had no idea until we saw others playing it. If you want a very quiet spot to try beer, this is it. We might try this place again when the weather is better. We got the flight, and you can choose your own. I personally liked the Butterfly (hazy IPA) and the Uncut Gem (lager). I’d order them again.

The location is good, although usually quieter than the other location. The beer is always great and the food is okay. The service however was really bad this time, we were the only ones there and hardly got any service and when we did she was grumpy. When she brought out the food order both orders were put in one tray/plate even though it was two separate food orders and she instead gave us an empty tray. So we had to divide up our food ourselves.

Been wanting to come here for awhile, and since we were in the area, we figured why not hit up this place before heading home. We arrived right when they opened at 11am and got to sit outside since we had a puppy with us. The bartender wasn't the friendliest, maybe because she got interrupted reading her book or just didn't like working Sundays. Idk...but when my family asked to taste a beer on tap, she asked rudely, "so are you going to order or just taste" like excuse me, there is nobody else in line behind us, what are you in a rush for?! Pretty sure that book wasn't that good to get back to, sheesh. At least the sour kettle they had tasted better than her sour attitude.

Biggest downside is no parking. Next biggest downside is difficult to find as it is away from the street. It appears it's neighbors are not happy with sharing space with Hapa's as every parking space says no Hapa's parking. The outside area is pretty spacious and a pleasant environment to meet up with friends. The inside is very minimalistic. Not sure if that's because of covid or planning. Had a decent variety of beverage choices. I enjoyed the midnight blush. My friend did not care at all for the Hapa water which tasted like dirty soap water. Dogs were permitted in the outside area. It had a certain charm to it.

Hey neighbor special when your in Los gatos If you're thinking about coming to Happa's in Los Gatos—don't, at least not while Linsy is working here. She snatched a drink right out of my hand that I had paid for and wasn’t even finished with. Totally disrespectful and unnecessary. When I brought it up, the staff just backed her up instead of making it right. Disgusted by the way this was handled. I’d tell anyone thinking of coming here: wait until Linsy is gone. Customers deserve to be treated better.

Love the beer, love the atmosphere. But what I don't like is they allow kids to hang out there. This is an adult place to get away from the kids. But to have kids running around screaming and yelling and having dogs there barking and running around I'm coming underneath your feet and sniffing you is not cool.
