Amazing food on a limited menu. Take out is best, there isnt a lot of places to sit and eat in the restaurant. Jasmine rice alone is delicious. Best peanut sauce EVER! Pineapple curry is my favorite. Friendly staff.

I order here regularly and really like the yellow curry with chicken and a side of white rice. I also get the drunken noodles which can be a little spicy but I like it a lot. The mango with sticky rice dessert is very tasty too.

Thai Lotus’ fresh Buddha Rolls are to die for! The Tom Yum Soup that I get with chicken is the hot and sour soup perfect for a rainy day, or if you’re down in the weather, and of course, anytime. I love, love their Pad Thai because they use rice noodles and the sauce is delicious! So grateful they are here in Los Osos for takeout!

We were looking for Thai takeout while visiting in Los Osos, and Lotus Thai filled that need! Delicious food. We had the red curry, Hawaiian fried rice, cheese wonton, chicken satay, and spicy basil with beef. Excellent all the way around and very affordable. The service was quick and friendly.

Lotus Thai is the best tasting Thai food in town. It is takeout only, and they are consistently quick, reasonably priced, and delicious. People often talk about Noi's Thai food in downtown Los Osos, but in our opinion, Lotus Thai tastes way better! Noi's is simply more known because of its location (it's also closer to where any tourists might hang out). Check out Lotus Thai for where the locals like to go!

First time there tonight and ordered the Green Curry & Drunken Noodles both with Chicken To-Go and it was amazing! Green curry had plenty of fresh vegetables (squash, bell peppers) with the perfect balance of chicken and this would easily serve 2 but you might as well get two orders or you’ll be fighting over the last serving...the drunken noodles had that tasty wok grilled chicken with more fresh bell peppers and tomatoes and basil all sautéed together making for a delicious blend with thin sticky textured noodles. Prices are very reasonable for the large portion sizes. This place definitely is up there on the Best Thai on the central coast list. Good thing I just bought a house across the street because now I’m going to be a regular 🙌🏻⭐️🍲

This thai place is to go only. The green curry was huge! The chicken was a little weird looking though. Great flavor. I’ve gotten their pad thai before and remember it being bland, I recommend the curry.

We are in town for a quick getaway from LA. The folks at Grocery Outlet recommended this place. I decided to get some dinner from here, and it did not disappoint. The food was tasty, and the portions were good. Note that this is a takeaway joint and not a dining-in place, so make sure you plan well. They accept credit cards, tap-to-pay, and cash. The people are friendly and the service is quick. They have a great menu, and you should be pleased.

I requested that the tofu be fried and it did not come that way. Just white tasteless chunks. It’s really tough being a vegan in this area.

Literally - they are the same consistency as water. Like most Asian-style restaurants in the US, the food is over sweetened. The rice was cooked well and the Thai iced tea was very good.

Not sure if it was a bad night or what, but it took an hour to get two orders of curry. We ordered the pineapple and shrimp curry, and it was very lackluster. Shrimp had obviously been frozen, and was dry and chewy. Pineapple bits were from a can. The curry itself was ok in flavor, but not amazing. And there wasn't anything else in the curry. No vegetables at all. Just curry, shrimp, and pineapple. Should really be half the price for the quality.

NO MATTER WHICH PROTEIN OPTION OR SPICE LWVWL WE SELECT WE ALWAYS GET CHICKN WITH ZERO SPICE. It's not only not spicy it's actually got a strange sweetness to it?? So. Our 1st two online orders were correct and the last three orders have been messed up. I suspect the root cause of the problem is that the people making the food cannot read English The entire staff is Thai with very limited verbal English skills.
