Great place. Not too expensive and a decent venue for music. Outside seating area for smoking and drinking. Would definitely see another show there.

They make awesome drinks for reasonable price. They got pool tables. And it's pretty mellow... At least while I was there. Ppl are friendly. It was nice.

Oasis, Tom Petty, Cage the Elephant, etc, but a request for a Cure song was met with disdain for some reason... The bartender I had - I regret I didn't get her name - she was attentive and knowledgeable. I ordered an Old Fashioned and was treated with some wonderful mixology and was served one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. The second one I ordered was that much better. The ambiance was great with a pool table here, a tabletop shuffleboard here, and Rockin New Years Eve on a wide variety of screens throughout. What food I had was (unbelievably) some of the best fish tacos I've had in a long time. Worth a visit for sure.

Nice clean neighbor bar, with a couple of pool tables. Has music and dancing some evenings. Parking is around the back, and there's an back entry through the back patio.

Not a recent visit but once a place where I spent more than a few evenings when I lived in nearby Baywood Park. Local color, local people, quite the neighborhood joint, a near dive bar attracting the ranching crowd, some of the Cal-Poly S.U. crowd, one of the better shuffleboards in the region--one of a vanishing breed of places in California, on the Central Coast and anywhere else in the U.S. My the stories, the characters, the incidents between the locals, the locals and anyone else; woe betide the man who got the bartender to never let the girlfriend or more usually the wife know that he was hanging out, playing a game of pool or shuffleboard; one Sunday, sunny afternoon, a ranching wife, a gun toting wife made a screeching halt in the parking lot at the front of the building, strode into the saloon and let loose a 13 X 9 casserole, a hot casserole fly, aiming at her errant husband but missing him, slightly grazing the experienced bartender, doing a nasty job on the back bar---who knew that tuna noodle casserole might be considered a near lethal weapon nor how long it took to de-casserole the back bar? Those days when Los Osos and Baywood Park were off across the valley, near isolated but with homes, some of them having amazing views of the Pacific and Morro Bay Rock. Santa Maria style BBQ's every place but this one had a fenced off, back or side patio with outdoor bar and fire pit---community gatherings on BBQ nights or weekend afternoons when the countryside around both little towns had more cows and peas than housing or places to shop. A unique business, the Sweet Springs Saloon, in a very quirky little place on the Central Coast of California....but not so little, not Los Osos, not anymore.

This place has changed drastically since I remember it in the 90"s There are pool tables and a newer style jukebox, dune evenings with karaoke and outdoor seating. The staff were nice and got drinks pretty quickly. A decent selection of tap beer and cider.

This place would be great if the abundant amount of cigarette smokers weren't right outside the dance floor .It made it a hard sell for dancing with choking at every breath.

They remodeled in the new over played out fad. The bathroom is better but shared men's stand up sucks. I just hate the exposed roof framing, old crappy siding, fake old looking wood floors

20 minutes to get a drink and the bar wasn't crowded. Its dirty, gritty, and unorganized.

Seedy, but comfortable. Enter with no expectations, and all is well.

While at Sweet Springs Saloon in Los Osos on the night of July 10, I noticed a Black male bald with a beard who repeatedly stared at me and my wife throughout the evening. I attempted to wave at him in a friendly way, but he didn’t acknowledge it. This happened more than once, and his continued staring made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I got the sense he might not have liked me, possibly because I'm white, though I can't say that for certain. After feeling uneasy, I decided to leave with my wife. Just wanted to report this in case others have experienced something similar. Sincerely, Eric W

Customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be a priority. Personalities behind the bar appear to be about positioning for control of something beyond my understanding save for 2. The bar itself is clean and appealing and the bathrooms are a far cry from the old Springs. Drinks are overpriced for the area but I think a visit is worthwhile if for nothing else, comparisons to where you want to spend your time and money.

A couple of the bartenders are cool but the main bartender with the glasses is extremely rude to customers on a regular basis.I've seen people ask for a non alcoholic beverage and him tell them they can wait in a rude tone while he chit chats for 5 minutes. I'm very surprised he still has his job with how bad his attitude is. If you're in town you might as well go to the Ale House, Nardonies or the Merry Maker where the service is good and the people are respectful to paying customers.
