Chulo's Cafe and Cantina

Lovely spot for dining. We were outdoors but with a roof and one of the three sides covered by custom plastic/canvas wall/window. This cut down on the cross winds. Generous portions served on charming earthenware inspired plates. The Mexican dishes were authentic. The traditional dishes were appropriately savory and sweet. The portions were generous. The atmosphere and service were convivial. Order taking was challenging due to our large group and the number of specialty coffees ordered. Good value for the price. We would dine at Chulo's again.

Absolutely delicious! My husband loved the Chile Verde omelette and the pancakes were delicious. The ambiance was cozy and beautiful. Highly recommend when visiting Paso Robles!

Chulo's nails it! I had the club sandwich with fresh fruit. Everything was perfect. Our server was attentive and pleasant, and the beautiful fountain in the courtyard made the setting so serene. I hear they have breakfast too. I'll have to try that soon.

Amazing food and super nice service! Honestly, 10/10 breakfast, so glad we stopped here. Their patio was under construction so they made an exception for our puppy to come inside - so nice of them!

High quality Mexican breakfast and lunch. We had a chicken taco salad and a carnitas burrito, Sangria and a Micelada. Large but not huge. Beatiful prep and service. Not Taco Bell.

Worth is determined by what one is willing to pay for something, and at the time, I was willing to pay $20. But I don't think I will be willing to pay that again in the future.

If you are in Templeton either visiting a doctors office or Twin Cities hospital give this nice Mexican food restaurant a try. The people and family that run it are very nice they have a relaxing patio. The food always taste great. Everything tastes fresh. Enjoy cheers!

Food has a strange flavor and sweet. Not the style of Mexican I prefer. Also a bit pricey - $9.50 for a bottle of Modelo!

My $21 burrito was made of mostly soft, bland potatoes and beans. I struggled to find the chorizo and eggs advertised on the menu. Very disappointing, especially for the price.

Wait time was terrible and was not even that busy on Mother’s Day. Customer service could have been much better. Waitress forgot about us after we ordered and I had asked for coffee 4 times which I did not even get after 4 times asking for coffee. First and last time here. The chips and salsa were good. Very windy in the patio . Could not eat comfortable.
