Very clean a and also very tasty. I am finicky but the food was awesome specifically the wet burritos and fajitas No words to completely describe this place. Do urself a favor --- try this place for once to get hooked for life

Just passing through the area and found this place. The food was amazing we ordered carnitas, Torta, Sopes and asada Fries. Everything was great the food came out hot and fresh the portions are good service was great! Thank you for the great service and amazing food!!!!

Had the Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos. They were very delicious and the meat was high quality. The salsa bar was delicious as well. Very friendly staff and kitchen crew.

This place never fails! I have been eating here for over a decade! (13 years to be exact) the food is just as good every single time! Please give this spot a chance! sopes, asada fríes, enchiladas and give the torta a shot you will be very pleased!

I love eating here. Although it is slightly pricey I know its going to be one of the best mexican food experiences you can get in paso robles. The quantity of what you get is great too. My favorite is their carnitas tacos and nachos. Everything I have tried at Papis is always great. If you are looking for good mexican food in the area this is the place to go you wont be disappointed.

You wouldn’t think it but this place has the best cheeseburgers in Paso Robles! I’m not kidding… hand patted 100% beef burgers! My wife says they are the best! Juicy… large… perfect burger! Try it for yourself! Look at the photo… real images don’t lie! I do a double patty!

We used to live in Paso Robles and Papi's was our go-to place for Mexican food every week. Sunday? Time for Papi's! We came through town on a visit this weekend a had lunch and we were not disappointed. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious! Don't miss the Asada Fries or the Carnitas plate. Both are uhhhhhh-maze-inggggg. A couple beers and I didn't have to eat again for a long time. Expect to have a wait, they are popular and they cook everything to order so it might not be super fast but it is guaranteed to be super GOOD!

Good food, as always. There was only one other person in there. Because they aren't right downtown anymore I d on't think they get the business they used to get. I know a lot of people order from there using door dash cause I used to pick up there practically every time I dashed.

The food here is really good. I had the chicken enchiladas, and they did not disappoint. Their chiles rellenos were also really good and cooked to perfection (some places don't cook them all the way). Their refried beans are extraordinary. The salsas are all very different and unique from one another, which I appreciate. I was pleasantly surprised to just have discovered this place. I've never been a flauta fan, but their flautas here are delicious.

The food is freshly cooked to order. So it may take a minute to get it but it's worth the wait. Cheese enchiladas as so good. Very filling portions and a family run business. Best Mexican food in town.

I had to fish it was good I probably would personally have enjoyed it better if it was a little quieter I could hear everybody's conversation and I enjoy watching people conversate and not always on their phone however it was a little too loud for my liking. Maybe so much so it wouldn't be fair for me to give an honest answer regarding my experience because it was so loud I really could not enjoy my food the way I would have liked you I enjoy food I know people work hard making it and I'm that kind of girl that puts her heart when I cook and I would love them to taste my offering . However there was a lot of people so business sure is good for them and this is my own personal experience

Disappointed with the customer service at this visit. I ordered a specific type of taco for my kiddo and when I was brought the wrong one instead of trying to correct it I was argued with. The gentleman remained insistent that I ordered something that I didn’t. Instead of kindly correcting it I ended up having to place an entire different order. Unfortunately I didn’t keep a copy of my receipt and I really wish I would have. Food was average, customer service was less than that.

Terrible service today! Had never had a problem with this restaurant. I actually enjoy eating here and love the food. Today, I came during my lunch break and waited about 1 hour for a torta and fries. Ended up cancelling my order and getting my money back. The lady at the counter said our order was ready when we cancelled it. Didn’t even bother to offer anything for making up for their mistake. Not ideal to eat here a lunchtime if you you’re on a time crunch!

I ordered a Menudo, was not fresh, it was 2 days old(probably frozen). Good flavor but we specifically asked for menudo only and staff said yes 2 times. We got our order of 2 menudos 1 hr later and it was mostly hominy and very little menudo, we also got my kids a simple quesadilla and it came with old guacamole, (it was black in some parts). No fresh tortillas, they where stale and store bought. For the price it was not worth it. Will not go back.

I called in my order and the lady had a hard time understanding me which happens (could've been loud on her end) anyways, I paid $16 for chili verda meal which comes with 2 spoons of chili verda and maybe a cup of very salty rice. I wasn't impressed with the portion size for the amount I paid. I also asked for chips and salsa, the salsa came in a tiny size plastic container which was enough for 3 chips. I don't mind paying extra for good mexican food but this was more like for a child to eat than an adult. Hopefully in the future they do some changes to make their customers happy!

I ordered tacos al pastor to go, they took a pretty long time to make them and there wasn't that many people to justify the wait time. The salsa to go had gone bad and unfortunatly I didnt realize this until I was home and had already poured it on the tacos.😞 I had to throw them away.

Under new owners. Papi is gone and so is the good taste. I called in my order. Asked for beef enchiladas three times. I got chicken and it was very, very bland. Nothing tastes the same , will never go back.

Incredibly rude young woman working at the counter just an awful attitude . We requested light cheese and this literally double the amount of sloppy cheese that taste weird. Also, the cheese wasn’t even melted in the enchiladas and quesadilla. We got up and just walked away. Hungry with only a bite.

Going down hill, waited 20 minutes for a burrito, salsa bar was filthy and empty, tables were dirty, 2 people working, 12 year old at the register, older guy on the grill, I ordered a chili Verde burrito, it was more like a rice and beans burrito with a hint of chili Verde. I can remember when it was a great place to eat, this visit sucked, several other patrons were not happy as well, maybe it's just a tourist place now ?? If it's still here in a year I will order a beer and see how it goes.

Since the old owner Felix, Papis is not the same. Had horrible customer service today at lunch. Paid for a gift card last month over the phone and they wouldnt give it to me. Disputing the charge now, I had been doing this for years and years for my dads bday since I'm not local. Very rude and sad we wont be returning.

This is my second time eating at the new location. The first time, it took a long time to get two tortas but the place was busy so it was okay. This time the place was empty when we got there, three people came in after we ordered. They took a pretty long time to make an enchilada and a shrimp cocktail. There wasn't that many people to justify the wait time especially when the people that came after us got their orders first. The enchilada tasted good but it was cold. Probably never going back again.
