I visited Lubbock from out of state and my friends took me here. We had and paid for drinks from the bar while we were waiting for our table. The drink and food were both great. I had the Mexican flag enchilada plate, with one beef and 2 cheese. The beef was under seasoned, but the cheese enchiladas were great and all 3 of the sauces were good also. My only complaint is that the bartender turned my $1 tip into a $10 tip. I don't know if that was accidental or on purpose, but I had to submit a claim to my bank. Still giving 5 overall stars since one worker shouldn't ruin the whole experience.

My wife, son and daughter & law really enjoyed our experience. I had enchiladas, wife had a burrito Cancun, while my son and daughter & law had one the steak specialities. First time We have been -- AND WILL NOT be the last ! RECOMMENDED!!!

Always serve great food! Great customer service! The entire staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of TVs showing your favorite games. Nice little bar area serving up the best drinks. Menu has plenty of options to choose from. Would recommend as a must try restaurant!

We ate lunch here during our visit to the South Plains Fair. We had the Cancun fajitas for 2. The meal was delicious with more than enough portions. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the service was excellent. The price was very affordable. We have been here before and plan on returning every chance we get. The for the First Class experience.

This establishment is great, I come usually for the street style tacos as they are the absolute best I've found in town. But I keep coming for the great atmosphere and service they bring to the table. I have been coming here for years and I have never had a poor experience. They are absolutely a must try if you are living or visiting lubbock.

Love the Durango Special! The Ceviche is also excellent. We always have a good meal when we come here.

The Mini tacos with your choice of meat! Definitely recommend either Al Pastor or Carnitas and Barbacoa! Charro beans are delicious as always! Can never go wrong with combo fajita quesadillas! And chilled down with the Famous Horchata drink.. You will love it!!

A great authentic meal for a great price and service was excellent. We took my husband for birthday with a group of us and they accommodated us perfectly. It has a little of everything, chicken, beef, chorizo, shrimp, cheese, cactus, (yes cactus is good people give it a chance), bell peppers, onions, jalapeño, rice, beans, and tortillas. It’s quite a bit of food!

Yes please 🙌 First off, the rice was fully cooked & tasted great (a lot of places tend to have some hard pieces, or it’s over cooked & soggy), $14 asada was delicious, $16 fajitas were amazing & it didn’t break the bank! Server was attentive, my glass was never empty. Will definitely come back and try their quesadillas next time.

Stopped in for lunch right at opening time. The salsa and queso was good. For drinks we tried their piña and Jamaica, we’ll be getting them again. My better half got the chilies poblanos with shredded chicken and I got the chili colorado. We were both very pleased with the food and left satisfied. The atmosphere was perfect, the hostess was nice and our waitress too great care of us.

Our waitress was super. The food and drinks were fine. I would say the food has gone down a bit since our last visit, but it could just have been the day we went. It was busy and crowded. Normally this is a decent place to eat.

Came in after lunch rush, service slower than during rush lunch. Food good, fajita plater came out hot but cast iron skillet not sizzling and food appeared warmed under a lamp.

Food was great as you can see, but it also tasted great. Clean, friendly staff, Coke was terrible 1st one tasted like diet 2nd one was flat and syrupy. Our waitress wasn't the greatest, but others stepped in and took care of us. Definitely recommend this place.

I felt portion of food is slightly big. Food was great especially the seafood fajita. Fished was cooked very well. Hawaii fajita was great but felt like lots of cheese overshadowed the meat taste. Oyster were nice and fresh. Steak and chicken fajita felt slightly dry but taste was awesome. The complimentary nachos and salsa were nice. Especially salsa was great. I'm sure the sports bar side of the house is great. The resturaunt side was lacking. Not the bold, Susan's alone taste in dishes that I expect from Mexican cuisine.

The atmosphere was great and clean restaurant. The chips, salsa, and, queso had no flavor tasted water down. We had to add salt to them and it didn't help the taste. Our entrees meat were seasoned good as for the beans and rice no flavor. I would suggest adding more flavor to the above items I mentioned. Our Server could have stopped by our table more often to check on us as well. Thanks

Not worth the wait. We waited 25 minutes to be seated for lunch on a Saturday. It was another 10 minutes before anyone took our drink order. Food took a while (more than two rounds of chips and salsa). The enchiladas and tacos were bland, and the chili rellenos were soggy. But the waiter and waitress were friendly.

We arrived at 11 for lunch and left at 12:45. The food was fantastic as usual but our server was not! Miguel seemed to either be overloaded with tables or didn't care that we had our meal with no refills on drinks and never came to make sure our food had arrived and was right. Unfortunately I had my food without tortillas so I probably won't return due to the fact of the customer service.

The service was horrible. Our waitress was to busy working the entrance to sign in people to sit down and taking to go orders, she got so caught up in her job so I tried waving down a waiter as he walked right next to our table and I even said excuse me sir and he turned saw me and walked off. He did that 3 times so I finally got up to ask our waitress for some salsa and she sent another clueless waiter. Then when our food came out everyone got the food Except for me. I had to wait over 5 minutes before I got mine. Even the people who ordered after us got all their food. Nobody tried helping us at this restaurant. I used to like going here but the waters and waitress staff are ruining this place. Even a few other tables were upset at how terrible the service was a couple people eventually walked out. Maybe I should have done the same.

For starters they sat us in the back out of sight out of mind, we had to ask for a waitress! They gave me the wrong drink but didn't correct it. They took forever to take our order then when the order came they forgot my entree completely while everyone else received theirs. My husband's plate was Chile pablanos the beans looked like they had been placed in a dehydrator they were so dry and the pablanos tasted sweet with an earthy flavor they weren't stuffed with anything just smothered in white sauce, by the time the waitress came around I was still waiting on my dinner and the other couple we had gone to dinner with had already just about finished they're dinner. It was our first time there it was a horrible experience! I didn't want to make our guests uncomfortable & complain about our experience. I called to speak to a manager but never received a return call.

I ordered flautas and they were the worst I have ever had. My husband ordered molcajete and absolutely loved it. Flautas are rolled up corn tortillas filled with shredded beef or chicken. These were made with Fajita meat complete with beef peppers and onions, were not rolled up correctly and tortilla wasn't cooked but did have burnt ends.

Well I must say I never giving a restaurant a bad review but my friend took me there for my birthday we did go at night time around 6 or 7 maybe what was the night crew. The bathrooms were dirty trash cans were over flowing. Hate too say this. But maybe day crew people are better and the cooks are also.So so sorry.

Absolutely horrible experience today cause me to change my five-star rating to one star this was the fourth time of a mistake but this time was crucial out of four years. When the manager won't even speak to you on the phone they text you and then with a response that I'm bad will do better next time oh no we'll try to do better next time after you put cheese and sour cream on everything after knowing that it was an allergy didn't offer to remake it didn't offer to refund it didn't even apologize you simply said will try to do better next time I have the text I'll be happy to come back and post it here.

Oh how I wish I could give this restaurant ZERO STARS! Bartenders (2 females) really changed our mood... they were unpleasant, not friendly, no smiles, no excitement and were not in an hurry to take our orders! Definitely not who should welcome us 1st in the door! Next, the waiter... slow, honestly I we thought he left, went home or ran errands and then decided to return to charge us an outrageous amount for dinner! Let's get to the food... horrible, sad they're calling this mexican food.. dry, no taste, bland, boring, disgusting.. sad.. Now to the icing on the cake... total cost of meal.. $138.71.. $106.14 subtotal + 8.76 Tax + 19.12 Gratuity + 4.69 SERVICE!!!! This restaurant was a total waste of time & money & bar staff really turned our mood upside down... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE - GO TO TACO BELL - this place is worthless.

Waiter had an attitude like he didn’t want to be there took our order, 30 min went by and said our food should be coming out soon they had to do the take out 1st then waited almost another 30 min. we went to the hostess said he were going to cancel food was taking long she didn’t seem to care just said ok . We came tonight, and the food was awful side note it wasn't the waiter. She was great. Nothing was seasoned. It tasted like they got the meat put it in water then cooked it on the grill. The chips were not fresh, and the salsa tasted like a can of tomatoes. There was no seasoning on any of the meat. It was so bland you couldn't tell it was cooked in peppers and onions. The rice tasted like banquet dinner rice. The beans tasted like it was out of a can. Save your money!!!

I ordered the taco plate barbacoa and asada. The plate and tacos came out cold. We advised the waitress about the plate , she took the plate and returned it 10 minutes later. The same plate with same tacos seemed they either placed it in microwave or oven. When tasting the barbacoa tacos they tasted very very burnt and dry.

We have been going to Cancun since they open over 10 years. Today we had very bad experience. 1st of all waitress took 20 minutes to come say hi. Then without taking drinks order she started taking food order and didn't know about menu items. She called another guy he was extremely rude. He didn't want to take the order for what we wanted to eat. He wanted us to order easy items because they were busy. Then I told him that we are here to eat certain things and we want, finally he took order. Then after 1 hour and 25 minutes someone came from kitchen and said we don't have item you ordered for your kid, would you like to pick something else? Seriously, we just walked out of there. We loved their food but today 's service was worse ever. Very disappointing. 😡😡😡

The muendo flavor was good but the Muendo tripe was tough and I almost choked trying to swallow it and the kids nuggets were squishy and tough ! The nuggest were like if you were squeezing the bottom of a flip flop !awful

She ate some but said it all lacked flavor. I tasted the beans & rice & it was terrible. Service & atmosphere good. Food terrible. Only thing good was a coors light in a bottle. Won’t be going back.

I placed an order for shrimp aguachiles & understood that it may take longer for it to be prepared. When everyone in our party was almost finished, another server let us know they were making fresh salsa for it, so I requested it to be bagged to-go instead. 10 minutes after everyone has finished & the ticket has been paid, we are told that it is being bagged up & they will bring it right out. 5 more minutes, I finally received a refund because I was advised that it was actually accidentally sent out twice to other tables that ordered after us. I can't say it tasted good because I never got my food. Thankfully I did have my grandbabies to entertain while I never received my food.

First time here and we did not care for the food. The cheese enchiladas were made with a unique tortilla and the cheese was really runny and tasted processed. The chili relleno did not seem deep fried and again, the filling was runny. The restaurant appears to be very popular so maybe we chose the wrong items but we will not be going back.

The carne asada was so tough and bland. No seasoning, overcooked, hard to even cut let alone chew. Fajita chicken was extremely salty. Margaritas were very weak.

Worst tortillas i ever had in my life! We were there Saturday afternoon about 1:30. our waitress didn’t even make sure we had enough silverware as was extremely rude. “one ticket right” We were just a party of 4 so shouldn’t have been too much trouble to wait on us.

So we first got the extremely rude waitress. She was extremely unpersonable and short with us like we did something wrong by walking in. The chips where okay but the salsa was not salsa. It was tomato sauce with onions in it having zero flavor of anything. I got the cancun special all chicken. The relleno pepper was slimy flavorless. The burrito was soggy from the red sause and chicken grease. The enchilada was soggy and slimy. The rice had zero flavor and the refried beans where super old taste. The red sause the covered everything with was runny liquid and only taste of tomatoes. My wife got the same cancun special but beef. Hers wat actually worse than mine was by far. My coke was kinda flat but her unsweetened tea was really good.

My family and I walked in and stood in the lobby for a few minutes until we got acknowledged. I should probably mention it was a Friday evening and not busy, 5-6 tables at most were being used. Once they sat us we sat for 10 - 12 minutes while 2 waitresses passed by a few times and never acknowledged us or got a drink order. We finally just walked out. I would not recommend this place. It’s not busy for a reason.
