Driving through Lubbock and we just tried this place because it was close to the interstate. If it was closer to home I would be a regular.

The staff was very kind and helpful, the tacos were awesome. Home made corn tortillas are rare in Lubbock so I will be back.

I’m a trucker from Chicago. Stop here for lunch and I must admit it’s very legit Mexican food . The taste and serving are amazing!

P.S. they ARE open on Sundays. So NO WAITING like at other places on Sunday mornings!!! I believe they are closed on Tuesdays?

Corn tortillas where made by hand with was a big great but the asada was salty and tuff and the barbecue was mostly fat and gristle

Food was good service was also good only drawback is the hrs they close up at 5pm

The place itself is nothing to swoon over but the food is magnificent. My buddies swore the chicken was the best they ever had. I don't eat meat so I had beans and rice with were very good. The corn tortillas we're home made and delicious.

Food wasn't good, mine was literally burnt and y'all just need to give people exactly what was asked for. Different cook maybe.

Tried the caldo de res and the vegetables weren't completely cooked and there wasn't alot of taste to it

I asked for barbacoa all meat and I got 90 percent fat gross. Thhen when I asked for another plate of just grilled chicken I got the smallest portion with a $13.00 price. I was asked why I rejected the barbacoa with an attitude I responded it has to much fat the lady cook said with a smirk and attitude well then dont order it??? Horrible service and it was my first and last time I will ever step in there.

Really bums me out to have to give this place 1 stars. The old setup back when I would have gone 5 no doubt. But the menu is super reduced and the tortas just wasn't the same. I know for a fact I ordered tripas tacos and the wait staff argued with me about it. I know what I said, all you had to do was switch out the tacos with what I wanted. I ate the pastor anyway and it was okay but it was not what I wanted. Probably won't be back especially now that you might know who gave you 1 star. Really bummed out to see this happen.
