My daughter and I had lunch here one day. We had the asada fries and they were really good. We will definitely be back.

I got this burrito called El Gordo it asada,chicken,shrimp, and rice it was a very filling burrito for the price it was worth it 👌 and the salsa was also good the thing I liked was that the burrito was made fresh off the grill to order when I got my food it was steming hot I had to wait to cool down a Lil bit but it was so good 🤤 I had went back 2 days later and got the same thing.

Had the #15 carne asada taco plate and loved it! Rice is decent, refried beans are very good, and the steak was great. The portions were very generous and the service was fast and friendly. For a fast food establishment, this place is definitely 5*.

Polibertos playing Hunger Games??? Nah they satisfy Hunger Pains!!! I was passing through to Austin and needed a quick bite. Found this on Google Maps. It was actually 5 miles out of my way but the name caught my interest because it’s familiar to a Mexican franchise in Arizona that was my favorite called Filibertos. Any relation….? I’d like to know. But Poliberots has similar great tasting and large portions I was craving. I got the carne asada burrito. It was huge. I added French fries, beans and cheese to mimic what I would get in Arizona. Superb!!! It was awesome and the salsa was spicy. Just perfect. The staff were nice. This food is not your typical fast food. It’s made to order so expect a wait. I was the third in drive thru lane and it took about 5-10 mins from order to pickup. Again keep in mind this is fresh food. Don’t knock it for the wait times, you get what you wait for. If you want under 60 sec delivery….. then go to McD’s, again you get what you’re willing to wait for. Fresh is not fast. I will definitely hit this place the next time I roll through town. Hubby and I went to the one on Frankford Ave restaurant and we ordered the Carne Asada fries. It was so delicious!!! We also get the bottled Mexican coke which is sweeter the American one. We are regulars now.

It was a cold Sunday afternoon in the hub city and I was not expecting much especially from this small yellow shack that was getting slaughtered at 2 o clock. But I was mistaken, the food there is fantastic portions are big and it's all homeade by some real Mexicans :) the price was a little high but hey for a hidden gem like Polibertos it was worth it.

Excellent! The lady that took our order was very helpful with explaining what came with our order. On top of that, she repeated it back to us correctly & further still, we recieved exactly what we ordered! I highly recommend these geniuses for your breakfast, lunch &/or dinner! This is the absolute best Mexican food I've found anywhere in west Texas! I love it! Adobada burrito and red chile meat burrito are my favorites. The green salsa is more flavorful, but it doesn't have a lot of heat. The red salsa is very hot, but is not as flavorful. I usually use 2 to 1 ratio, green to red.

Plenty of food for the money!! Also wonderful customer service!!! Sorry didn't get the young lady's name at the window, but her customer service skills are what makes one want to go back! Thank you. You guys did awesome.

Polibertos has a great menu of absolutely delicious Mexican dishes. Fast drive through service and super friendly folks at the windows. I really like the neat and clean kitchen. I highly recommend Polibertos.

They got their chimichanga with care asada. They're not stingy on their portions, and they are well with their money. The meat is tender, and the rice and beans are good. The chimichanga is nice and crispy. Add some of their red salsa, and you're eating well. Highly recommend

Traveling from south Texas and stumbled upon this place and let me tell you they did not disappoint! I had a carne asada burrito and it has to be the best burrito I have ever had. The flavors were savory and the portions were generous.

It was my first time going there and I was surprised at the quality of the food and the promptness my order was made. These like business need our support to stay open. They serve great food at a low price. And it's fresh with out all the preservatives. I am definitely going back.

Today was my first time. The hot sauce was good and one hot they offered actually was hot. The chips were fresh made and so far the area best I've tasted. We ordered breakfast burritos and just picking one up we realized they were MUCHO GRANDE, the biggest I seen in Lubbock and they were good. Hands down my place to go on Sundays for breakfast and/or lunch. The young man that works the window on Frankford, super sweet and patient. Thanks for feeding us when I'm busy. Will definitely be back time and time again for their quality of food that hasn't failed me yet. ;)

Ok the breakfast burritos are huge and tasty. I love the ham and egg. For lunch you can't go wrong with a flying saucer. The tacos are all good, the chile relleno with no sauce on it is my go to.

I had the chimichangas lunch special on Wednesday which was pretty good for about $10. Had to wait about 10 min in the drive through line.

Eat here now at least once a week! Started with the tacos. The shells are amazingly delicious! Tonight we tried the Chimi! It was huge and the meat was mixed with peppers and onions! Can't wait to keep trying everything they have!

I have only had the ground beef crispy taco plate. They also have shredded beef. Generous helping of rice and beans. It was larger than most. It was very good! Service was very fast. It's a drive-thru, so you create your own atmosphere in your car.

These tacos we're freaking banging!! Being from California we have tons of Taco trucks, so I know tacos and I make them as well!!! ##tacopro We ordered the Carne Asada, Carnitas and Al Pastor taco plates between me and my friend. The taco meat was on point, the Carnitas had a great fry texture in the edges which I love in Carnitas, the steak was tender and on point, the Al pastor had no chewys at all and the flavor was phenomenal!!! The pico de gallo was fresh, salsa was good!! Plus the tacos we're freaking huge!! 😋😋🤤🤤 I highly recommend you get these tacos In your life, there fat and delicious!!! Only To Go, no dine in, hopefully one day!!

Usually really good, only time I had an issue is recently. Got a chimichanga and wanted beef, but all that was in it was veggies. Like all veggies and a little bit of beans in it.

The breakfast burritos aren't cheep but they are HUGE and delicious.

Saw this taco shop from the road, looked like a hole in the wall type of taco shop. Decided to stop and try it… IT WAS GREAT! I loved the food and they were friendly. I took pictures of their menu and the serve quite the variety. I prefer the 5 Rolled Tacos Supreme! They were great, and when you are done with the tacos, you end up with a nice taco salad. Glad I stopped and tried it. A++++

First time here. As always, coming with hunger and open mind. Im vegetarian. I love that they were willing to make what I asked for, but I decided to go with the tostadas. Mmmm, they were delicious, huge, and loaded (see pics).Oh, and they pack you plenty of napkins and salsa. I couldn't even finish the 2nd one. My new go-to. Can't wait to try the torta... First time here. I saw steak and eggs on their menu and had to try it. I was not disappointed. This burrito was huge and not many fatty bites from the steak. The red salsa had a good flavor. You can definitely share this burrito with your partner. I will be back again if I'm ever in Lubbock again. $9.56 for the burrito. The drive thru was pretty high so I parked and decided to order thru the window. They do have tables, but I decided to eat in the car since I was leaving Lubbock. Ended up staying to I couldn't eat anymore. I should have just ate in the patio area.

Have mercy. I knew not what I was in for. Out of habit, I ordered 2 burritos. I'm an adult male with a large frame.....ONE. One is all that was needed. My wife made a valiant effort to finish hers, but still fell a little shy. Flavors were top notch. The girl at the window was real nice too. Plenty of napkins in the bag and the sauce was real good. And talk about fresh! Glad we had a 15 minute drive back to the house. Polibertos for a straight dub. Gotta go back for a torta now!

Great Mexican takeout/fastfood/drivethrough Tasty, convenient, pretty quick and so much to choose from. They also have their soda fountain dialed in too, the root beer was perfect 👌🏻

So this restaurant is real good but except for the menudo it was not cooked correctly as far as the hominy goes with the menudo other than that I do recommend that America does try this cool little restaurant we just need to make sure that the chef is not in the back playing with the waitress

Great hole-in-the-wall Mexican food. Employees are hard working and keep the inside very clean. Haven't tried anything that wasn't great and the portions are huge. Only drawback is you occasionally get hastled for change from panhandlers while you're waiting on your food.

First time went to the one on Frankford. Big burrito lots of food for your money. I got a bean Cheese burrito was good. Only thing wish my beans were hotter where it melt cheese but that wasnt the case beans were a bit more warm then hot. Shame cause everything tasted good. Only thing i saw could use improving. Just took a while to place an order and to receive the order. Yes I know it’s just a drive through. I think that maybe I could have been faster. I think I waited 30 min in my truck in the drive through line. As far as food goes, good food but they use(d) sharp cheddar cheese in a cheese quesadilla. Too strong from my taste buds. I wish they used Mild cheddar instead. The rolled tacos are good, nothing bad to say about that.

I love, love the generous portions on the burritos!!! If the rolled tacos were better, I would've given 5 stars. They forgot to put everything on them except the cheese... no carne asada, no guacamole. Edit: They have generous portions of anything you get there. It's a little more on the pricey side, but it's good food to splurge on occasionally.

We had the Tuesday special (beef enchiladas) and carne asada tacos with rice and beans. Food came out pretty quick and was fresh tasting and good. Sauces were really good too. Great value with drinks included in price. The outdoor seating could use some cleaning up.

There is a drive through and a walk up window with outdoor seating. The menu is large and easy to read, and they have specials each day. All of our food was tasty and the tacos had plenty of meat. They included salsas in the container. Definitely a place I'll come back to. Update: Tried tacos with chicken (shredded) this time and although the texture was awesome, the flavor was lacking. I'll stick with beef.

Some days it's amazing, some days I wish I had gone somewhere else. The first few times we ordered it came out amazing but since then it's a hit and a miss. We always get a bean and cheese burrito, add asada. For some reason I guess that means packs the whole burrito full of asada and very little beans and cheese. Tonight we asked for one to be light on the asada and it's still packed with meat but the burrito is smaller (facepalm) Last time we asked for it to be light on meat they added rice and we never asked for that so again, very little beans. Can we please just get a regular bean and cheese burrito with a sprinkle of asada without it being downsized or packed with something we didn't ask for? We come here and the other one frequently (they're more consistent but farther away) I think it's time to find a new burrito place because they're not cheap to be messing up a simple burrito with only 3 ingredients.

Don't stop here in the morning if you have anywhere to be… I've been the only car here for 15 minutes… They may be taking a siesta… Cause it's taking forever

I came here because of a few reviews praising the carne asada fries, and some said get shrimp. I ended up paying $17 for the carne asada fries with 10 shrimp. I have no issues paying $17 for 1 entree if the QUALITY or QUANTITY is there. For the $10 for the carne asada fries only, not a bad deal because of just how much you get, but that extra $7 for the 10 shrimp is not worth it. The shrimp taste subpar, it isn't going to blow your mind if you've eaten a lot of shrimp or seafood growing up, which is why at $17 it's a rip off for carne asada fries with shrimp. If you want to add some shrimp, I'd say buy your own, and cook them properly to have flavor.

Use to love this place but lately its be greasy and over cooked 😔 I think they expanded their business to fast and now are stretching themselves to thin ! When I called to let them know that the greasy hand made the tortillas soggy the guy said rudely you want another one or what and I said nope I'll just leave a review and get my mexican food elsewhere!

Hello everybody just to let y'all know y'all make alot of lies on here or maybe y'all work for this company I came here the very first time I ordered menudo and mini tacos my wife ordered torta but honest to God this place the sodas the orchata the food is all bland so how are all of you guys gonna say oh my God got with surprise good food that's sad but I would never ever ever come here until they change the cook and the recipe their is nothing bomb like the lady said the food is bomb lady get checked it is really bad food here I am very honest the food is bland no good at all and even the soda was flat but customer service was excellent the food came out on time didn't take long everything service wise was great but y'all's food has no flavor sorry.

We just moved from san diego cali and we tried to find the closest to a carne asada fries and a cali burrito but no cigar.This place isnt what i expected, small portion ,and the rolled tacos taste like the frozen delimex brand that you can buy from walmart. Not worth it and the review are probably from people who havent tried some real food.

Ordered a bean bacon potato and cheese burrito....tortilla was super greasy and gummy couldn't even chew it. Bacon was also super dry couldn't chew it. I called in my order they said it would be 10 min....got there in about 12 minutes and waiting still waiting 20 min to get food.....Spent my entire lunch break getting food I couldn't eat.

We ordered bacon and potato burrito,, the "potatoes" were French fries !! Also ordered luenga and got greasy overlooked barbacoa. We had to take the meat out and heat up new Tortillas,, there was so much Grease. It was not fresh, it had burnt crispy pieces in it!! Yuck

I work out that at a certain company I won't making its name but in with Kelly Burks was very close so I went by there Thursday. Lunch is actually quite good and then I went back Friday when I went back Friday you know how when you cook hamburger meat and you let it sit over the course of time to start turning darker and darker and darker or Saturday I phoned them to tell him about this and how it tasted nasty and take you just you know anyone with much as get a complain I'm sorry sir or there's that nothing I even an apology for last time I ever what's polibertos

What i ordered was a cheeseburger plain with fries, that means just meat and cheese, a taco salad no guac no sour cream and a #7 carne asada plate. What they gave me was a cheeseburger loaded which the meat was half the size of the bun and paper thin with half cooked fries, a taco salad WITH guac and sour cream and the #7 was the only thing correct. I returned to the order window to have the taco salad corrected and he asked me if i told the guy no guac or sour cream like I'm just making up something. After correcting the order i get home to my wife and she tears into the taco salad. The shell was tough as a boot. Arent these supposed to be somewhat crispy? Not to mention they forgot to put tomato in it as well. My tortilla also tasted stale and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day bathing in grease. My initial ordering i had to explain to the one taking my order that i need a taco salad that is clearly on the menu and he kept saying "so is it a plate or just the taco"...Will not return because there is absolutely zero professionalism and major lack of initiative to make sure a customer is satisfied. You basically get what they decide to give you and you better be happy with it.

I used to love going here for their asada fries. Better than the other locations. On Dec. 19th I went to get the regural. But there was a roach on my food. When I went back they were very apologetic but still left me not wanting to go back.

I live around the corner of this place. When it first opened up I was disappointed in the prices. I bought the special for that day and the beans were awful and the rice not but I couldn’t even eat the special ( shredded chicken) , it was hard and was not shredded, it was chopped half up. I thought with them being busy all the time I gave it another chance. The burrito was raw potatoes and was bad. Sorry no more for me.

Customer service at this location is beyond horrible. I was given the wrong order and asked if I could get it corrected. I was told that there's nothing they could do so I then asked for a refund and the response I kept getting was no, and in a very rude tone. I then asked to speak to the manager ,and to my surprise I was speaking to him the whole time. Speaking from my exp as a gm ,customers are the reason your able to keep business afloat, but for some reason this gm doesn't understand that and honestly with that kind of attitude and disregard for customer satisfaction, you sir, do not belong in the food service industry!

Horrible food. Got the tequitos and there's nothing in them. The little bit of meat (size of a q-tip) was only in the middle of these over priced chips that were soggy in the middle and almost burnt on each end. Don't waste your money the dollar store carries better microwave food than this. Hot sauce was also horrible red or green water that wasn't hot at all. I'll probably have diarrhea from the little bit of "chips" I ate dipped in this dumpster juice. Hopefully that pinch of meat wasn't cat or something horrible. I gotta go brush my teeth, ughh!

My first time here and I’ve heard really good things. Ordered a cheese enchilada w/ rice and beans. It smelled really good and I finally got home to eat it, and the enchilada was stuffed with ground beef. I don’t eat beef so it was a complete waste. Not a good first experience here
