The line was wrapped around the parking lot when we got there. We had our coffee in 10 minutes. They were fully staffed and everyone was hard at work. The coffee was what anyone would expect at Starbucks.
I don't go to this location often as it's farther from home. The barista was great and exceptionally friendly. I'll definitely start ordering from this location much more often. The drink also was delicious!

There's really only one Starbucks in town. The other two are like Starbucks light may get your order right. Save time and money just go here
Every time I go to Starbucks of Lufkin (which is at least weekly), I receive great customer service and my order is ALWAYS right!!!! Now, they have even learned my dog and get excited when they see him with me!!! Thank you, Starbucks of Lufkin!!!
LOVE Me some Frappe from starbucks. Everyone is always super nice, even when it's really busy they still share a smile and will explain the difference between the coffee stuff.
Always awesome food & drinks
Fairly large seating area, but the parking lot can become cramped easily. Came in and was greeted by the staff who ended up helping me make a selection. Very welcoming and when I went around 2:30 pm it was fairly quiet. Not too far from Angelina college so I can only assume it would make for a good study area.
They knew exactly how I wanted my drink when my daughter ordered it, and even added a little extra. Best coffee based Mocha Frappuccino Sundae style I have had in years.
Love Starbucks, always packed but they work fast to serve their customers. They were out of alot of ingredients and banana nut bread the day I went but won't keep me from returning. Great service.

I visit this location anytime I am running late and haven't had time to prepare my own at home. It is best to get there right before opening at 5:30 am as the line get extremely long come later in the day. The staff are friendly and alot more chipper that I am at 5:30 in the morning. I highly recommend visiting.
Great drinks, friendly service, but very pricy and expect a wait! I always need for them pto completely fill up my cup with coffee since they habitually only fill 3/4 of the way. I don't want to pay for air at their price!
Somehow this Starbucks is a cut above most of the ones out there. You can always get a shot of espresso at Starbucks that is reliably ok but the barista pulled an excellent shot for me. They got people through the line quickly which is nice when you are trying to grab something to eat and drink on the way to work.
The Lufkin Starbucks always gets my order right. I'm a latte drinker. I've never had to return a drink because of scalded milk, like some other stores in other cities. They're usually busy, so plan ahead, if possible.
I love coming to this restaurant because that is the atmosphere is that you are always welcomed. And it seems like whenever I come to this restaurant they remember me and say hey how are you doing? And where have you been? Things of that nature. The coffee the food, no matter what time of day it is excellent, fresh, and hot. So they have a welcoming atmosphere even beginning outside their door they have a friendly sign saying we sit down for a coffee.Its who they are. So upon that, the service is excellent.
I had a great experience today. I pulled up to the window & had no clue as to what I was going to order. However, to the nice worker there that took her time to help me figure out something new to try, Thank You! She shared her opinion on what she normally gets and asked if it was something I'd like to try, I took her up on it and it did not dissapoint. It was amazing and a drink worth getting again. Thank you for expanding my options on what to try again in the future. Very pleasant experience. I ordered a medicine ball which was made to perfection. The person who took my order was friendly and quick. There was plenty of space for me to do some work and even though there was a ton of cars in the parking lot, the location had room to spare. Awesome Job!
Very efficient and made my drink to precise order with a smile. Great workers, especially the two young women who took care of me. Store was clean and orderly. Masks recommended, but not necessary. Service was fast.
On Monday Nov20.17 Around 11am I was very pleased with my visit here. Came in from out of town Richmond,Tx and was happy to see there was a Starbucks here. Where do I start, so when me and my daughter entered we were greeted and assisted right away. Our drinks came out promptly. I like that the employees were NOT a bunch of kids. The employees here were very kind and professional. I love the layout to this location, wish back home we had this much space at our Starbucks. Its very nice and clean.
I go to Starbucks what seems like everyday and I just love when Katina is there in the mornings. She is super friendly and always has a great attitude. She definitely makes the experience better. Thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️
Had a great experience at this Starbucks.. the staff, at 5:30 AM and 9 AM, when I visited were extremely nice, courteous and accommodating. Didn't give me hard time about asking for milk when I asked for it, as it wasn't at the condiments counter. In fact they asked me if I'd like it warm!? I have never been asked that before at a Starbucks!! As I took a moment to make up my mind the young gentleman insisted and asked the barista ladies to warm up some whole milk for me! I was really appreciative of their customer service.
I had to stop in to try the new Pineapple Refresher and it did not disappoint!! The employees are so cheerful and friendly. This store is always very busy but stays clean, the employees are friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to stop for a coffee or just a refresher!!

Went thru the drive thru. Ordered 3 out of 4 drinks incorrectly. Staff was more than happy to remake the drinks without any complaints or additional expense. Now that's great customer service. I normally say, I'd go back. In this case I say, "I'm going back!"

We have stopped here many times over the years for trips from East Texas to Houston. Always great service and the drinks are great as well.
First, whoever hires the employees has an outstanding ability to hire nice people. Not to mention the efficiency they provide when guests are in the store. Through the years so many have been so kind to me. Thank you for starting my day off so well for so long.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently visited the Starbucks in Lufkin, Texas, and had an incredible experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed by the barista behind the counter. They were not only friendly but also incredibly personable, taking the time to chat and make my visit special. I was also impressed by the local flair they added with some beautiful art displayed in the store. It really gave the place a unique and inviting atmosphere. This is definitely one of my favorite Starbucks locations, and I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend. This is a well run Starbucks
Nice place, good service and strong WiFi. I would give it a five, but the cost of the coffee is pricey. I like a bold cup of coffee. All they can offer me is Americano which is pretty lame. I'll still go back because my wife likes it.
Got a drink that's normally hot the barista was kind enough to make it cold. To me they should let the customers know what drinks are normally made. I didn't know but they kindly helped and made it
Over price coffee...been years since I've to one. Not much on their political views. Like I said its usually at least 8 months or more for me between visits. Took my fur baby Harley a few days ago for a puppuccino. She's getting on up in years and when I take her she loves her treat. Just wish my coffee was close to the price of hers, lol. Good location but the parking lot can get packed. I had been wanting to try the Chile Mocha Frap for a few weeks and finally did. I have had a few since then and this particular Starbucks made the best one.
They would have had 5⭐ until today. Ordered my usual frappucino but noticed immediately something was off. It was more liquid than normal and the whipped cream was flat. Went through drive thru so it wasn't until we were blocks away I discovered the whipped cream was sour. Shame on you the one who made it and the one who passed it on to me that they didn't notice something was wrong or they did notice and because it was rush hour, rather than remake it, they passed it to me anyway. Then he told me I had a free drink on my account. I was confused at this because I usually know if I have a free drink waiting but I said "ok" to it. It wasn't a free drink, it was stars rewards. I was at 312 trying to save to 400 and he used 150 on one drink. I don't know if he was new at this or what but it wasn't until after he cashed them in I realized what he was talking about. The proper way I have been asked in the pass is "would you like to use your star rewards". Right now I still have the taste of sour whipped cream in my mouth. 🤮
Always friendly staff. Their pastry system is inept. If you order from the app you will only get your baked goods after reminding them a couple of times. Other than that prompt service.
Google mixed up my review for the Houston Galleria location with this one. This location has been a staple of my return from houston for 12 years or so. During that time, the location has provided that "last leg" boost. Rebeca(sp) was especially gregarious and brightened my evening. Please note that any and all starbucks locations have little control over their food (a la corporate). The drink quality, however, does vary from location to location, and this location make solid drinks.
Drinks good but service is bad a skinny girl with a bob hair cut rolled her eyes at me when I told her “there is drizzle.” She denied it had drizzle until I showed her. If you hire someone make sure they ain’t like her please.
Quality product with a very chill atmosphere. Drinks could be make a bit speedier but wait time is reasonable. Overall, a good place to buy drinks and socialize with friends anyday of the week:)

Everyone that works there are super nice and the store is very clean and they are prompt when taking someone's order and fixing the order.
This is our meeting spot for my ex spouse and I to exchange our son. But also they have great green tea latte and frappes. I can't drink coffee but my daughter and ex tell me the coffee drinks are good here. It's clean with a nice outside area to sit if inside gets too crowded or noisy. The bathrooms are unisex and are clean. Staff I've dealt with have been friendly.
While the staff was friendly my coffee was not. I order it thru the app the Sam way everytime and this store was lacking in the finer points of 10$ a cup coffee. I'm just saying. It was very bitter.
I brought my 11yr old daughter here just for some girl time. I personally don't understand why people just think this is the most greatest place?? We both had a frappuccino, mine vanilla hers mocha. I just want to say "small", "medium", or "large"... Not all this Grande, Tall, mini, venti, Trenti Omgosh!!! Our drinks that were mostly "Le Ice" ( my own word for ICE) and they did not taste very good at all! I make much better ones a home. And we got an over priced brownie to split, glad I didn't buy two! It tasted horrible! We threw it away! But I will say I purchased some cakepops couple months ago and they were awesome! After paying we just kinda waited and waited and the guy said my name but apparently there was 2 Sue's and the first one wasn't mine but he didn't call my name when ours were ready he just sat them on counter. We just figured out after couple minutes that those must be ours... Not so great of service. Now it's not all bad or negative. It does smell great inside and has a comfy atmosphere where you can just get lost in a book or your computer (free WiFi). And I have gone through drive-thru and gotten a "hot latte" but it burned my tongue and I didn't see any pleasure in that either, lol. But for those that are Starbuck fans. You can see this one easily from road. There is plenty of parking and you can enjoy your beverage outside. If you've never been to a Starbucks before it's not the kind of place to bring the family or little ones.
I could make my own coffee in my own house that's better but that's not really on the staffs or their products im not much of a Starbucks guy nor the coffee guy. Price was little over but coffee wasn't that bad
I went there as a brisk drink stop, and they forgot my drink. I had to wait there for 25 minutes, watching people who had just come in receive their orders. After three polite reminders they"remade" my drink.
Starbucks is losing ground in my opinion. It took them about 10 minutes to fill my order for a Latte. It is still my goto for road trip coffee but they don't really have any competition. If they did I would definitely try them. Their products are, for the most part, still very good.
The coffee and service are good. I have never had a bad encounter with any of the workers. The location is very convenient. Its proximty to the mall and commercial stores makes this a nice break stop for weekend shoppers. The 3 star rating is largely the result of two issues. First, the place is so consistently busy that hitting the wrong hour will leave you without a place to sit and rest. And two, the small parking lot coupled with the long drive through lines can make the place a nightmare to navigate when your seeking a quick visit. Those issues aside, this is smoothly operated and friendly place to visit .
Only okay, quite the entertaining arrangement of social rejects working there. You tend to get what they want to give you rather than what you ordered. If you point out an error, they put on quite the show with l all the eye rolling and sighs. If you enjoy seeing grown men act like 14 year old girls this is the place for you.
Service is always exceptional as well as each product on the menu. I really enjoy the overall atmosphere. It's a nice cozy spot for me to be comfortable enough to complete my studies.
They are always out of the Hazelnut flavor. How is this possible when this is their most popular flavor? They use a dark roast on everything, so I always have to request a blonde roast so I don't get a mouthful of what taste like coffee grains. They have no cover over the drive-thru order menu for bad weather, and the window is minimally covered.
I don’t write reviews but today an employee was incredibly rude to me. It doesn’t bother me when they mess up my drink occasionally or when it doesn’t taste very well etc etc (which has happened a handful of times in the past couple years) no big deal, I go inside, explain to them, and they are usually wonderfully kind, there is a middle-aged shorter blonde woman who works there that is so kind (like they should be) and she took the time to explain to me how I can order it differently so that it won’t taste funky which is very considerate I appreciate that. But today, my boyfriend ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso with whole milk because they were out of oat milk and it literally tasted like an americano it was so watery and had no flavor with a slight amount of coffee. So I went in there and a woman named Star was so incredibly rude to me like I was the biggest inconvenience, I don’t think I’ve ever been treated that poorly by a customer service worker. She was snappy and treated me like I was stupid. I usually have grace for service workers when they give a little attitude, because I understand what it’s like to deal with customer, but this put me over the edge, I like to say treat others how you want to be treated and I would’ve never treated someone like that….. sad really, I wish I could’ve given them four stars.
This store is so hit or miss. I usually go here every morning. The morning shift is great. However, sometimes the drinks aren't made the best. The biggest problem is the drinks sitting out. Whether I do a mobile order or order in the drive through the hot drinks are always luke warm & the cold ones have melted ice it seems like. Service is friendly though.
It's one of the "ehhh-est" Starbucks I've visited. Not bad, but not good; it's almost like it's the gothiest spot in Texas - just unhappy appearing folks. Drink was accurate, though nothing I would order again as the oily coffee is just not great.

This Starbucks makes excellent drinks and offers friendly service. I ordered through the app. My order was correct. My favorite drink at this Starbucks is the flat white. The tiny, free parking lot is clean, well-lit and well-maintained. Recommended! Update: My husband, our grandson Eedan and I ordered three customized drinks through my Starbucks app again today. I ordered a sweetened flat white. Hubby ordered a sweetened nitro cold brew. Eedan ordered a strawberry acai lemonade minus the strawberry chunks. Only the lemonade was correctly customized. Neither the nitro cold brew nor the flat white were sweetened at all, and we weren't given any sweeteners at the drive-through window. We were running late and didn't have time to drive back to Starbucks to get sweetener for the coffees. Disappointed!
I'm sitting here and can barely hear myself think. The music is too loud, staff are way too loud, and their machines are too loud. Sounds like a night club. I realize this is not the public library, but I don't think it's too much to ask to turn down the volume. Ugh.
Ordered a hot Hazelnut Latte and got a Coffe Nut syrup. How does that even sound the same,I don't know,I guess Starbucks has a different language. After I told the Barista he told me he would make me the correct one. Well I wasn't going to wait again. Just ticks me off,constantly screwing up orders. Really this time I've had it and won't be going back. Just FED UP.
While most everyone at the Lufkin store is friendly, it's almost impossible to get a full cup.. 8 out of 10 time of ordering a Venti, I get a half cup of coffee and the other half is foam. Please fill up your cups, when I pay for a venti, I'd like to actually get one!!
Meh, when it comes down to it the coffee isn't anything to write home about. The focus is on pumpkin spice lattes not coffee. Prices don't match the quality. Also, due to the chain feel of the place there aren't any points to give for originality or the local feel that a coffee shop is uniquely suited.

18 minutes to pour 3 pre-made lemonades. Location wasn't busy, I completed a mobile order, pick up time was 7-10 minutes. I arrived at the 11 minute mark. 2 cars ahead of me in the drivethru. When it was my turn, I was told it wasn't ready and I needed to go back around the drivethru as it still wasn't ready. As I watched each other person in front of me allowed to wait for their order to be ready and not drive around. The car in front of me must have known the woman working the window as instead of driving off after receiving her order (& being allowed to wait for it) the 2 continued to have a conversation, laughing and talking. When I got to the window, I asked why I had to go around when I arrived at my pick up time while others waited for their orders some with 4-5 drinks. I was told it was because I was mobile and not drive thru.... huh? So because I gave you MORE of a heads up, I wait longer??? Got the drinks, ice was half melted.... gee, I wonder why? What a joke of a location.
Great coffee but $7. For steamed milk and $4 for black coffee so I can't praise them. LGBT is strong here. Drinks are slow and according to my wife they suck
I used to love Starbucks but now a Venti Mocha is nearly $6.00! NO INSIDE consumption which is completely ridiculous no that Texas is 100% open! Starbucks has always been overpriced but the drinks were good and the atmosphere inside was quiet and a nice place for an outside sales person to meet clients, make phone calls, or do paperwork. It appears that many businesses Luke Starbucks have gone away from indoor consumption not only due to the pandemic. It appears to be more profitable to provide carry out and drive thru only which is why folks like me no longer find Starbucks as appalling as it once was before the lockdown. I'm probably having my last Starbucks drink until they go back to full service & stop price gouging!
I went about 30-20 minutes before closing and I just wanted on one drink. I was in my car behind a car that I thought was ordering but really it was just there so people don’t go through the drive thru. I hear a man yelling at me saying “they’re closed!” I work in food service! But i wish we get to close 30-20 minutes early then what their sign says.
This is the only Starbucks I have ever been to where their Employees are "Predjudiced". They were so rude, messed up my order. I cancelled it. Could not take any chances with my drink. Had to go in their Wal-Mart on same lot to Starbucks. I reported this location next to Freeway. I have never been subjected to behavior like this anywhere else in Lufkin. I told my daughter when she returned to Hotel. My daughter said she had no better experience earlier that day. Same guy, why am I not surprised? She reported them as well. I don't think I need to say it, but we are African American. Who knew? Nobody told Starbucks in Lufkin, Blacks are free, vacation, go to work everyday and can afford a cup of whatever they are not serving to Black people. Also, we will report your rude behavior and take the time to give you a Negative Review:)
I've gone to two different start bucks in two different states and both places had put customer service. I didn't feel the warmth of the customer service. Or any polite service. And to many police officers crowding the place in the Oklahoma City and Lufkin Texas location.
I don’t know if this was her first day, but the lady at the window “forgot” to hand back my credit card as she was handing me my food, receipts, etc. I drive off and realized it when all I see is my Starbucks gold card that she reloaded. I guess it was her lack of concern when I had to go back through the drive through that really ticked me off. A heartfelt apology would have helped. Of course, it was not her line of credit at stake....
I order food and coffee and 10 min later we got the food but not the coffee. Just a simple cup of coffee - takes 10 sec . So no apologies nothing . I had to come and ask for after a while and they just said that they forgot . We were the only costumers at inside ?! What a short memory that got … but Starbucks not always really cares !
We stopped to grab a coffee and use the restroom today. The bathrooms are disgusting, the store was dirty, my frapacino was melted and not made correctly. My kids and husband said their drinks were good.
I went in to this establishment and the cashier was rude. I asked for a venti white chocolate mocha and they were out of white chocolate, which I was okay with, I understand. I then ordered a venti Mocha. When I got my drink, it was a frappe and wasn’t the flavor I ordered. I told them and the barista was not willing to fix it.
They do no make the drink right .. small stores are lazy apparently.. coming from the city these guys are lazy I go to Starbucks to get quality drinks on the go. Cold have just used my express machine at home at this point service sucked.
Waited 22 minutes for a plain cup of coffee. My husband was still waiting on his so we got his money back and left. My coffee was weak and very common. My husband got a better cup in 2 minutes and much cheaper down the road at a McDonald's. Never waste my money or my time at Starbucks again!!!

Waited in line for almost 20 minutes and got to the window and lady said they could break $100 bill, customer service here is beyond ridiculous for it being a multi billion dollar company.
The employees are generally nice. The coffee is very overpriced, but a good way to get a pick-me-up when out and about. My biggest problem is that the corp has let their politics interfere with their business. Even if I agree with them they have no place serving their political opinions with their product. In other words, make the coffee and keep your opinions to yourself. This is directed to their CEO and not the innocent employees.
Today I went inside the store to get a drink and the guy behind the counter (skinny,dark curly hair) was super rude and even rolled his eyes because I could not get the scanner to work. This location has poor customer service and they get my drink wrong 80 percent of the time. Do better.
Extremely frustrating service. We stopped in on a road trip. Ordered ahead of time on the mobile app. We waited for 40 minutes to get our drinks. A bottled drink from the register was given to us- wrong flavor. The entire drive thru line that was extremely long when we came in was empty when we came out. The entire store was packed when we came in, but empty when we came out. When I asked if our mobile order got skipped, the lady insisted that wasn’t the case. But yet multiple ppl came into the store, ordered at the register, and left with their drinks while we waited. Why would we order online ahead of coming to the store, if it takes 40 min to get our drinks, but you can walk in and order and get your drink in 2 min? Your system is clearly flawed. To top it off, our hot drink was made wrong. We didn’t even taste it till we were already on the road bc we were in a hurry. Next time, an apology goes a long way. If you skip us, we get it, just admit it and apologize. This was by far the worst Starbucks experience I have ever had.
I got food poisoning after eating their cheese danish, and their hot chocolate tasted like plain warm water. The service was terrible I walked in and the place was completely empty, with four employees standing around, yet no one took my order. I stood at the register for about two minutes feeling ignored. One man was even counting money right at the counter and didn’t bother to call anyone over. Honestly, after getting sick from the danish, I should’ve known better than to give them another chance. Between the horrible service and the awful drink, I’m done with Starbucks.
Every time I order at this location SOMETHING goes wrong. I ordered a hot caramel macchiato with vanilla sweet cream and extra caramel. EVERY time I come to this particular location they mess it up in some way. They put vanilla cold foam and I tell them EVERY time I didn’t ask for that, then they made it iced and I let them know they messed up AGAIN. I have no issues at the other locations, but this one just cannot get my order correct. 2 remakes and still wrong is CRAZY.
I regularly order the same drink on Wednesday through Friday morning. The quality has been declining, with today's cup being particularly subpar, I also politely ask for lite ice. However, I always receive an overabundance of ice, which negatively affects the taste of my coffee when it melts. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was unable to request a remake. I recommend the Starbucks crew to prioritize quality control to avoid such issues.
