In town visiting family and placed a late night mobile order to an Austin location by accident. A worker came out in the cold to the drive thru to let us know and re-submitted our order free of charge. I didn’t catch either of the women’s names who helped us out, but they were wonderful!
Had a big order, everything was right and fresh, only thing they forgot to give me straws for my drinks but considering how busy they were its understandable! Grate service, yummy food !!
So on this particular trip it was late at night I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and the biscuit was almost as hard as a brick and the egg was about as rubbery as a tire I went back through the line told the young man about it he made me a fresh one I grabbed the bag it felt a little heavy and he really fixed me up!
After a late night in the ER with a sick 9 yr old granddaughter I knew we could get her favorite Taquito at Whataburger since it was almost midnight. We ended up getting supper (really breakfast) for her and us too. Taquito's w/ cheese and bacon were so tasty and big with their famous potato sticks. My husband got the big pancakes that were hot and fluffy with sausage. Happy girl thanks to Whataburger.
This is one my wife and my favorite places for breakfast. Great atmosphere and quiet. Not noisy like waffle house or McDonald's. Love the jalapeno cheddar biscuit, amazing taste.

The burger is always prepared fresh, and they just do not cook it, they ask how would you like your burger cooked. The staff always have smile on their face.
overall the same good food as always. I went at a VERY busy time, so it took a while to get my order, so it may be a good thought to have more staff on a saturday evening.

Love Whataburger and grilled onions and a Lemon Pie.....sorry to announce Lemon pies dropped from the menu. Apple pies are good but my favorite is the Lemon ones. I eat at least once a week a whataburger junior. Always Good!

Whataburger is one of my favorite burgers. Used the App to order ahead but when I got there the drive-thru line was at least 10 vehicles and the lobby was closed. There also was not a curbside pickup area. I called the store number and asked if I had to wait in the drive-thru line. The young woman (shift manager, I believe) said I could drive around to parking spots by the exit and she would bring out. That was how it should be. Recommend you establish curb side service with signs like Mc Donald's, down-the-street, has. Thanks to the young woman who professionally solved my issue.

Fast take out, calm & relaxing overnight, and delicious food. I came overnight for Whataburger to order large onion rings & a mayo & cheese whataburger(burger). The taste were amazing and I am satisfied with their staff. Their staff is very friendly & alerting to my needs when ordering. I loved it. Thank you, David R.(cashier name appeared on my receipt), for the awesome service. I greatly appreciate it!
Always a great taste of food . Busy parking lot, most generally plenty of parking. Limited to 2 handicap parking spots
It was great. Service was on point in the AM and food was fresh minus the hash browns were a little on the well done side. Prices were higher than I usually pay but everything has gone up these days.
My first time to Texas and Whataburger, and let me tell you I haven't even tried my food yet (it smells amazing) but the young lady that waited on us, Trisha D., deserves a raise! She was literally the nicest drive thru attendant I've ever had, she was so kind, informative and patient. Give this woman a raise! (she wears glasses and gets off at 1am tonight if that helps).
Fun thing about Google reviews is that you always get to edit them every single time you have a positive experience! Like many young kids in their 20s, whataburger is a very common thing to do in a small Texas town, whether there’s a reason, or if it’s a just because… I just left the one in my little town, and living in Houston now, you tend to not be around or get to enjoy the things of a small town, like talking to the cashier at the window when you pick up your order, and it’s so nice to be able to just have a conversation with somebody, I got this when I ran into Trisha D this evening! She had a wonderful beautiful smile, and just an incredibly wonderful personality about her! She just made me feel completely calm and at ease, and we smiled and giggled with one another, and it’s moments like that where you get to just really be human with another person, and it doesn’t even have to be anything important, you could talk about the rain and the cup of coffee you had The morning before, it does not matter. So thank you so much Trisha for being just an absolute angel! I will definitely be back multiple times and look forward to seeing you!
Best Whataburger in Hardin Co bc of employees at the counter. 2 ladies, professional, courteous, respectful, kind. They are the backbone and set the tone for every visit to be a good one!!!
This was the cleanest fast food place I have been to in the USA. Everything was clean and staff were well dressed and wearing hair nets, beard nets etc. Obvious the owner/manager valued hygiene and cleanliness.
I can't comment on the food, since I only eat kosher. However, we ended up stranded due to an accident, so we hung out here just having soda and coffee. That said, the place is spotless and the staff were beyond helpful and friendly.
Great place to eat my order was right the food was good and its all older respectable people who work there very clean no ghetto fabulous workers.
The lady at the front counter was so sweet, so was the manager!! We didn't have any problems, but they both checked in just to make sure
This place usually has good food. I only say usually because it's rare, but sometimes (since I always order late night) I get stale fries. Everything else is great. It's impossible to get always get fresh fries, and it's understandable if it does happen. In fact, I doubt majority of my visits were less than stellar. I do feel bad for doing 4 stars on the food though.
Patty melt is good to get here, burgers are as well. Their morning breakfast burritos is a great option if you're needing a on the go breakfast.
Other than the wait in line to order and then for your food Whataburger is always good!

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life!! I also loved their BBQ chicken sandwich and honey butter chicken biscuit! Oh and of course their fries!!! I’m from Colorado and we bought 8 burgers and brought them to GA for my parents to taste and they LOVED them too! Haha it was awesome! I love going to TX and stopping in to eat every time I’m there! See ya next year!
Foods great but orders get messed up often. I've had less incidents in the past couple of years but the food has gotten more expensive and less tasty.
I love to able to stop and get a big double meat hamburger at the Jasper whataburger. It's not Memoms but it is a great quick fix when I am at the lake area.
Very clean nice service need a little bit better on the fries
Hit the drive through to pick up a quick burger for a family member. Whataburger Jr and a medium onion ring. Left the drive through and notice there were no onion rings in the bag. Parked, walked all the way around the building to go inside. Lots of people working and I was greeted when I walked inside. Bag was taken to the back and I waited 3-4 minutes to get the correct order. This location has the best food and usually is spot on with correct orders. Must have been having an off day that day.
Hostess threw away our to-go drinks and put our bagged food behind the counter as I took kids to bathroom after eating. When asked, her once great, friendly attitude changed, and she almost requested payment for the full drinks that she threw away in the empty restaurant.
The restaurant is very clean. The staff were polite and helpful. I had the original whataburger. In my opinion. For it being a frozen burger it was pretty good. Now their salads. Mmmmmm so good they use Romain lettuce. Not iceberg. Iceberg lettuce is just water. Look it up. No nutritional value at all.
Had the biscuits and gravy. It was delicious but the serving was too small. It was not substantial enough for a breakfast meal. Coffee was very good. Service was excellent. 😀

So I placed I mobile order. And it's my fault for not checking it before I left. But this place was packed. I saw the opportunity to leave and left. But when I got home there were just some many problems it was unreal. I called and spoke to a young man who was the manager. He tried to help but also did not have enough experience to actually be polite over the phone or during a rush, I believe. I went back and he replaced my food. To the dismay of quite a few people that were there. Apparently, they had been waiting for 45 minutes for their food order. And still no sign of it. As I left, I decided to check again. And again, they left out some things. I went back in and just sat down instead of getting in the other people way. It was a good 15 minutes before the other people got there for and I got up and told them I was still missing food. Basically, by the time I got home, all the food was long cold. And not with eating. It's really too expensive to eat there too, eat cold food. Again, the young man did try. You could tell he was working hard. But you could see a handful of people in the back standing around once their task was done. It was like they had never been told the next step or how to take the initiative to help the store or get a raise or promotion. Again, I'm not saying this is an everyday occurrence. It could have been a one-time bad day.
Pretty good place overall. Staff is nice, however if you go at a busy time (usually when breakfast is about to end) it can take some time to get your food. Otherwise, I mean it's Whataburger so it's hard to go wrong!
Stopped for breakfast 10:30 food was ok but the service was slow and seemed under staffed. They were not that busy but still took almost 30 minutes to get our meal..
It was busy, they didn't get my meal to til late. But that's okay. I got it to go. I knw they was busy, lunch ya knw.
Lunch hours are apparently overwhelming as it took way too long for a single sandwich (fish). I ordered inside due to long dive thru line. The WhataCatch ain't so much of a catch these days. It was a tasteless disappointment after waiting so long. Seems a lot of old standbys are falling to the whims of corporate pennypinchers and food taste is suffering dearly.
They charge for water. They charged for a friend's bigger burger patty when they didn't have a small burger patty instead of taking responsibility for not having the food available for the smaller burger. The food is good though

The person taking the order was having problems with getting the order as I said and it was slow and the taquitos was just thrown together. I think they were short handed and the one taking the orders was doing the best they could.
The food is just ok. We ordered some burgers without mustard and didn't say with mayo, but they came with mayo instead. The whole thing was weird. But the staff were friendly and helpful.
I know every business has a challenge now, and I'm sure some of these employees are excellent. That said, some of them could certainly use additional training. Possibly turn off the microphone so the customerin the drive thru doesn't hear the conversation inside the restaurant while they wait.
Food was good, service was great, but the atmosphere was okay. There were flys and mosquitos in the restaurant at the tables. Overall I would go back again, still one of my favorite fast foods
The main complaint I have is they have a bad habit of not cooking the hamburger meat all the way. Just by looking at it, it looks done. If you bite into the meat, most of the time it's still raw in the middle. It's probably timed cooking but it needs to be a little longer. I love their onion rings.
It's a good place to eat it just cost a lot so you better save up your money if you plan on going there it's easy to go almost to $20 just for one person trying to get full
The burgers is never fresh at this location. It used to be awesome seems like they are not cooking the patties to order. They are cooking to ge ahead. The one in Winnie is always fresh! Melts the cheese
I placed an online order off the app and set the pick up time . Got there and still had to wait well past my time of pick up . They were busy I get that and that is why I called it in as early as I did . They need to have more than 1 person up front. I had to wait almost 10 minutes just to tell them I had an online pick up order . Then another 10 minutes AT LEAST to get my food. Food was. Fresh and good as always but they need to set things up a little more efficiently up front and maybe even a way for the customer to announce they are there for online app pick up or a service line for that or something maybe. This may seem frivolous but when you are on a lunch break and only slotted very little time for your lunch , then minutes matter.
They are all very nice but that doesn’t go super far when I keep getting missed items. Frustrating.
I go to this Whataburger several times a month for the most part my food is made right.. But !! There are times like this visit where the person in the drive Thursday window was taking my order asked me to repeat my order 4 times literally, So after he said he had it, I asked for him to repeat it to me and he actually got the order correct... Now, when we get our food, it's just missing my veggies and mustard.. getting to order it was so messed up. Unfortunately, I went through Drive through and was in BeaumontTexas by the time we were starting to eat. I was having to go to Baptist Hospital, so I could not just go back... People at Whataburger read the receipt and produce a meal like you advertised it not some crap meal and Charge a Stupid Amount for the crap neal... That is no different than stealing / lying it's wrong. Correct this problem.. Perhaps We all should just start holding Whataburger to the standard of what they advertised on the menu, EXACTLY LIKE THE MENU $24.00 For an incorrect meal....
Food is good, but I've been about 3 times this week at night and the woman manager says it has been out or broke everytime. That's crazy since I just happened to go earlier today during the day shift and it was working just fine then. Hmmm sounds like someone is being lazy.
Hamburger was cold as the fries seemed to be as well! Told them i wanted fresh and a hot meal and they pretty much acted as if they could care less! My last trip here
Got hamburger, was so thin you could read a paper through it. For the prices you charge it was very disappointing. I was in the Hospitality industry for 45 years, I think your profit margins are out of line, won't be back.
Been trying to call this lumberton location for last 1 1/2 hr after they didn’t give me all my order in the drive thru. The onion rings was so over cook/burnt but yet they still served it in go thru window. Unfortunately I live 40 mins away so can’t just go right back up there. Ridiculous the phone has been busy non stop for this long.
Food was cold fries were so cold and mushy. Not sure why it ls going down hill. The food used to hot and fries weren't mushy.
Me & my son got breakfast there order was wrong service was slow store was dirty & my honest opinion it should not have been they were slow so I thought later passing threw I would over look this morning I should have passed them by service was bad I waited over twenty minutes for my order the inside was closed and only one car in the line they were to busy playing the girls mic was on I heard everything but I did get my food burger was good but fries cold like the service

This Lumberton whataburger location is so messed up. They hsve been opened and closed more times than a jack-in-the-box! Went there today to get takeout, when I got up to the payment/pickup window they informed me there was a shift change. Well waited for about 5 minutes while they changed employees. Well in the meantime the food was getting cold. When I got home my wife noticed they forgot the gravy for the chicken strips. So she went to make the gravy. Probably the worst experience I've ever had at Whataburger. Saturday March 16 Dropped by this morning for breakfast and it was so cold that my wife and I turned around and walked out. Why can't they keep this place comfortable? They will not give you a rational explanation as to why it's colder than a meat locker!
I didn’t get a name but whatever female manager was working the late shift tonight was VERY very rude. I can handle a 16 year old cashier giving me attitude but a MANAGER of an establishment DEFINITELY needs to be held to a higher standard. I have never had a bad experience at this Whataburger. Tonight she was working the drive thru & it needed to be brought to someone’s attention that she was rude & condescending & is a manager & that’s completely unacceptable.
Hot my order wrong 2x one night and then again a week later. Was a different cashier working drive thru too. Idk how "no lettuce or onions" sounds like "only lettuce and onion". For the prices they charge one would think they would try a little harder
What happened to the hamburgers here? It was like they were boiled in a shallow pan, to the point the edges were concave on the patty. The only saving grace were the fresh veggies on it.
I'm not sure I've ever had a worse experience at a Whataburger than at this one. The chicken strips tasted like they were cooked an hour before serving. Just some dried up batter. After arriving home with the rest of the order, the #1 with cheese, pickles, and mustard was wrong. No cheese. Mustard and a bunch of onions. An 8 mile drive back to the store and a 10 minute wait, they retake my order, (a pretty simple on) and mess it up again. I walk back inside, a 3rd time, and finally they can make a #1 with only cheese and pickles. Should have gone to the Lumberton Whataburger.
I ordered a double meat Whataburger jr through the drive-thru while I was traveling. My second bite contained a large piece of plastic 🤢😨. This is not what I expect from my Whataburger experience, I hope that they improve their quay control and attention to detail.
Not good service today. Ordered the bbq chicken strip sandwich, small fry and medium chocolate malt. Their malt sizes are 16 oz, 20 oz,and 32 oz so obviously medium would be 20 oz. Got stuck with a 32 oz. Got home and opened my bag and along with my sandwich was a small and medium fry, why the hell would I want 2 orders of fries? Just absolute carelessness. This is why I rarely use the drive thru.
I always regret getting in line here. Good food. But 40 minutes in line to get burger is just too long.
My boyfriend Lee & I got hamburger s #s ( 1 ) & (5) meals . His 🍔 hamburger good & juicy & not fries 🍟 wasn't over salted . But my hamburger 🍔 wasn't juicy & pretty dry & fries was way to salty . And I made kind of a complaint about my meal to a staff guy ( cashier ) and all he could say is that they supposed to sit the fries 🍟 up and that he was sorry about that . I expecting for the guy to say can I get some new fries 🍟 that won't be so salty .
Only car at the drive-through. Ordered a whataburger with easy mustard and added mayo. Girl couldn't get that right. Had to repeat twice. The order was ready at the window before my card went through. Burger was cold and had cheese. Ordered small fries and was told they had already pre-cooked the fries, and they were boxed as medium. Whataburger used to be fresh food, but this Whataburger pre-cooks their food. I'm very disappointed. Called manager who said she could fix that, but I told her that I wasn't wasting my time or money coming back.
Our first time at this location and our order was one error after another. First our drink sizes were incorrect, then we received unsweet tea instead of sweet tea, our burger came with no cheese as requested and charged, and no napkins in our bag. We were directed to pull up and wait for our correct tea order. Once we did receive them, they tasted like coffee. Needless to say they went straight in the trash can. Our patience had run out at this point with trying to get what we ordered correct. I can say our order was correct on our receipt and the employees were polite but the breakdown in making sure we received our order correctly was very disappointing. We frequent whataburger locations often, but will not be trying this location again. I hope this reaches the person who can address these issues and improve customer service at this location.
Every time we’ve come here no matter if we do the drive through or mobile order we end up waiting WAY TOO LONG and then to drive away with incorrect food and drink!! This is ridiculous.
If you go to the drive-through be prepared to wait five hours and 55 minutes for the wrong order not really that’s over exaggerating but I was 40 minutes. The guy at the window his name is Robert was fantastic. The phone was cold and wrong when you call in they go bring it back we’ll fix it. But who wants to drive 30 minutes waiting in line again waste gas and wasted gas one sitting in the drive-through and first place reimburse me for my gas and my food and I’ll gladly drive to 30 minutes
I waited for 5 mins with nobody in line the lady walked by counter 4 times not even looking at me. She was more worried about a coffee she had to make when she could have just taken 20 seconds to take my order then get back to making her coffee. Productivity is not her strong suit I can see therefor I left and went 10 mins up the road to silsbee. Way faster service and still the dame food.
3rd time for 25+ minutes to get an order wrong. I can understand the wait with one whole car in front of me and 3 in the parking lot. If i can make burgers faster, better tasting, and way cheaper at home, I no longer see the point.
Someone there called the police for no reason one day forgot my cinnamon bun they forgot it I reverse into the driveway and they call the police
Just watching people go through the drive-through and everyone inside is waiting and canceling their order, and so am I.
My family and I ate here on October 20 2025, and unfortunately, we all got very sick afterward with what seemed like food poisoning. The food tasted fine at first, but within hours we were feeling terrible, stomach pain, chills, and nausea.am still sick I need to wann as many people I cannt imagine you children getting this sick I just want to share our experience so others can be cautious and the restaurant can make sure everything is handled safely.
They just fed me a moldy sandwich, might have to call the health department over this, and if I end up sick I'll be billing it to them as well
This has got to be the slowest “fast food” place around. I understand they cook it when you order it, but they are doing something wrong. I placed a mobile order and arrived when it said it would be ready, which was about 15 minutes from placing it. 20 minutes later I get my food. This is after watching at least 3 other people come in after me, place an order, and get their food. Then when I got it, it wasn’t even warm. I’m done with this one.
Elijah and another girl with brown hair was working the night shift and they took 10 minutes to understand my order which was 2 parties melts with no onions and one had added jalapeños they asked 20 times before they got it right
Horrible experience! Rude rude rude I don’t even want to refer to her as a woman! She obviously didn’t want to be there. She was rushing us with order and then made the order wrong. When we were pulling up to the window, before we even got to it, the toothless woman was holding the bag out the window. Then the night shift manager (the one with the attitude who took our order) came and stood behind her and gave us a grin like she spit in our food or something 😡 needless to say we are not eating that! I will be returning later on when I go back out!
