Mountain dishes and plenty of quality! A lovely place with a fantastic view! There's a chairlift, but I recommend walking up and down to work off the excellent and plentiful food. The trail from Macugnaga is 1.8 km long!

A beautiful place, accessible by chairlift or, like us, on foot, about 3 km. As soon as we arrived, we sat down and were immediately brought a plate of fantastic appetizers, all topped off with enormous kindness. Everything was spotless, especially the restrooms. We had lunch: venison with porcini mushrooms and polenta, excellent, and for dessert, a blueberry strudel with cream: fantastic. I highly recommend it.

I was struck by the beauty of the place: To reach it, you have to either walk up or take the chairlift. The restaurant is completely immersed in nature, offering breathtaking views. Excellent quality food. The charcuterie and cheese platter with pear and ginger jam and fabulous figs!! The blue potato gnocchi with cream of Aleccio and crispy pancetta are unique and delicious🤤 Tiramisu, top marks! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The price is reasonable. Recommended!!

Very kind and helpful staff. The dishes (see photo) were plentiful and very good, e.g., the pennette was a kid's dish. The homemade desserts were also excellent. Good prices. Highly recommended!

Thanks to Rodolfo's intercession at the Pecetto Macugnaga camper stop, we managed to find a spot on Ferragosto (August 15th). After a ride on the chairlift, gliding over the woods, we arrived near the restaurant. The food was fantastic, with polenta and various game dishes, of course. The desserts were amazing; Signora Lara and her companions were very kind. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. I recommend taking the easy, all-downhill road down to the village. It also helps with digestion. Ask for the Genepì liqueur to help with digestion. Highly recommended.
