DF BAR 📍 DÓNDE: Calle del León, 31 🍽 RESEÑA: En el barrio de las Letras, junto a la Plaza de Antón Martín, hemos localizado este mexicano muy auténtico y con mucha personalidad. Local pequeñito y carta reducida, con platos un poco más originales de lo que solemos ver. Tienen tacos a 4€ 2 unidades, pero esta vez fuimos a probar algo más diferente. -Chilaquiles verdes (11€): Totopos de maíz bañados en salsa de tomatillo verde, queso, crema y cebolla. Nos encantan los chilaquiles y estos son de los mejores que hemos probado. Bien cargados, los totopos incluso llegan a perder el protagonismo por el resto de ingredientes. Buenísimos. Buena cantidad para compartir. -Torta Miss Piggy (9€): Cochinita pibil. Muy sabroso, bien jugoso y buena cantidad de carne. -Torta Pastor (9,90€): Carne de cerdo adobada. Al igual que el anterior, es una tosta muy rica que sacia bastante y con un sabor muy bueno. Fuimos a cenar 3 personas y nos encantó ! El servicio super atento y nos recomendaron de lujo. Tacos totalmente caseros y buenísimos. Volveremos !!

La torta de pastor estuvo simplemente increíble. Ese tipo de torta que pruebas y dices: “ok, aquí sí saben lo que hacen”. El sazón, la carne, todo en su punto. Y ojo: las demás tortas también estaban de otro nivel, nada se quedó atrás. Se nota que en la cocina traen la receta bien dominada. Ahora… del otro lado, el servicio de la señora fue FATAAAAL, fatal, sin exagerar. Mala actitud, cero ganas de atender, y ese feeling incómodo que te hace pensar dos veces si pedir otra cosa. La experiencia ahí sí baja puntos, porque cuando la comida está tan buena esperas que el trato acompañe. Aun así, regresaría sin pensarlo por la comida, porque la cocina es fenomenal, de verdad. Si algún día mejoran el servicio, sería un lugar 10/10 sin discusión. Por ahora, vas por las tortas… y aguantas el trato.

Best Mexican in the country! Mexican food is my favorite and now this place is my favorite Mexican 🌮 Everything is delicious but I absolutely recommend the Clamato, it is amazing and it's in the photos! Definitely recommended!!!

Mixology is delicious, we also had tortas al pastor and were so happy, tasted like home! Soft bread, awesome adobo on the soft meat. We went back a second time to try the tacos and thought the tortas are better. Also had much better service the first time with a young woman, since the second time an older woman who was serving seemed in a rush and unhappy to be there. Still 5 stars for our first experience.

Best tortas in Madrid! Authentic Mexican food and drinks, including aguas frescas. The agua jamaica was a little too sweet for my taste, but the agua tamarindo was delicious. Vegetarian and vegan options are great. Fantastic service - attentive and polite, and the food came quickly. Best tacos al pastor I've had outside of Mexico! 100% would recommend and we will return next time we're in Madrid

Excellent gem of a place serving real Mexican food (not the Tex Mex many Americans might expect). Have been coming here for three years, and it never disappoints. The tortas are all amazing, as is the ceviche. Servers are lively and friendly. Very small locale, so good luck getting a table on a Friday or Saturday night.

I was craving Mexican food ever since living in Spain and this place was incredible. The nachos were fantastic! We did not understand the menus as they were only in spanish but a fabulous women who worked there gave us recommendations and helped us choose our food! We wanted tacos but she told us we HAD to have the torta so we had that! Glad we did because it was phenomenal. A must if you are in the mood for Mexican :)

The food is incredible. We took the recommended tortitas and we absolutely loved them. They were clearly made on the moment like advertised and the portion was of perfect quantity too! Good price as well, around 6-8€ depending on the ingredients you pick. When we went there it was really packed and in took them a while to arrive with our drinks. To make up for the wait, the waiter offered us chupitos. Between the chupitos and the quality of the food, that completely made it up to me. I'll be definitely coming back here and bring friends as well. This is one of those places to save on your map.

En Madrid no he encontrado muchos lugares que ofrezcan tortas y además, estas son buenas. Las salsas también son buenas. Recomiendo la torta de cochinita, plátano y milanesa que puedes acompañar con chaladas, micheladas o jarritos (refrescos mexicanos).

Fuimos a cenar un día entre semana y el ambiente era tranquilo. Probamos los nachos y la torta al pastor. Nos gustó mucho la torta de pastor. Los nachos nos parecieron sencillos y echamos en falta ciertos ingredientes con respecto a otros mexicanos.

The wall with the outline of Mexico looks really posh and cool. We ordered some "tacos de pollo con mole" (8€) and an "horchata de arroz". The tacos we're good but not great. And if you've ever had horchata in Mexico, you can tell this one was made out of the concentrate.

He estado en varios de esta cadena y aunque hay diferencias, hay algo que se mantiene. El concepto es sobre todo tortas, algunas muy buenas. Hay algunos tacos y platos como los chilaquiles que están bien. En general no tiene un gran ambiente mexicano como otros. Creo que es un sitio para comer un día a mediodia cerca del trabajo pero no lo veo tanto para una cena especial. Es un poco caro también. Hay opciones vegetarianas. Las sillas son un poco incómodas.

Feels like a mixed review: The food was tasty although a bit pricy. I don't really know if the guy attending was having a bad day but basic customer service like when we decide to take out and ask if we can wait inside, and receive a response like literally "No, because you would take a seat from people who are ACTUALLY going to stay" doesn't seem like the best way to get people into your business. I could be wrong. Anyway, I do hope the dude gets a big fat W if he was having a bad day, dealing with customers is HARD 😷

La comida buena pero sin ser nada especial. Lo que no nos gustó fue el ambiente.Entramos tarde, más de las 16h, pero no nos dijeron que cerraban a las 17h. Durante toda la comida la sensación fue de prisa y que nos querían echar. Ni había postre, realmente no sé si es que no querían que nos quedamos más o si de verdad no quedaba nada. Para ir por emergencia, sino, no creo que vuelva.

La comida normalita de sabor y cara para lo que es. El plato sucio. La atención de la señora que atendía, bastante mala. Ni un saludo al llegar ni un gracias al despedirnos.

Las tortas con escaso contenido o relleno, la propietaria avariciosa, solo te ve con ojos de euros y, por tanto, recomienda lo más caro. Relación precio calidad muy deficiente.

Worst experience ever!!!! If u want cheap food then go there. We ordered nachos con guacamole wich was ok but the nachos very dry. Then for the main course we ordered tacos: one of the plates came with NACHOS AGAIN which is suppose to be tacos with some chicken and cheese above the other plate with 4 mini tortillas with chicken and tomatoe sauce. Everytging was tasteless and very bad quality quantity. Please avoid.
