Caminando por Madrid en el Barrio La Latina en una de sus calles específicamente el Calle Costanilla de San Pedro encontramos esta Cafetería El Perro de Pavlov. Decidimos entra a desayunar y nos deleitamos con unas tostadas espectaculares con una explosión dé sabores en nuestro paladar. A mi particularmente me gusto la Tostada NUESTRO PAN CON TOMATE Y AJO… la recomiendo es exquisita. El local es acogedor y su decoración me gusto mucho. El Café es de los mejores que he tomado en Madrid el Pumpkin Spice Latte con crema de calabazas vaya que delicia. El personal educado, amable y siempre con una sonrisa que provoca no irse. Lo más seguro es que vuelva muy pronto.

Una cafetería con un estilo acogedor y encantador. Te hace sentir como si estuvieras tomándote un café en tu casa. El café está bueno, pero si lo acompañas de una porción de su tarta de queso quedas enamorado. Hacen una tarta cremosa al horno que está en su punto justo de cremosidad y tiene un sabor equilibrado entre dulce y queso. Buenísimo. Repetiré seguro.

Es un local con mucho encanto, me encantó la decoracion vintage. Muy respetuosa y acorde entre ella. Agua de cortesía. Son bienvenidas tus mascotas, con recipiente para agua de cortesía. Té mactha con leche de avena delicioso y café de especialidad también. Brownie para chuparse los dedos y las tostadas espectaculares, un macth al ser de pan integral, se agradece. No al plástico! Servicio para llevar. Marta es encantadora y muy amable. Muy recomendable si valoras una alimentación saludable. Gracias! Volvímos y todo espectavular!

Hemos venido de vacaciones mi marido, yo y nuestra perrita, y nos la han dejado entrar, nos han atendido excelentemente. Estaba tan bueno el café con leche, que nos hemos tomado 3. Y las tostadas son espectaculares. A partir de ahora es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos cada vez que vengamos a esta maravillosa ciudad.

Found this place thanks to my Spanish teacher. It's a cozy corner in La Latina neighbourhood, with delicious food and a wide variety of coffees, lattes, etc. I went there a couple of times already and whenever I want to study or relax with a book and a cup of coffee, this is always the place I choose. I highly recommend their cakes and brookies and if you want to drink something special I'd go for a chai golden or pink but also their seasonal specialties. The café is a nice, cozy and retro-looking place, perfect for an escape from the chaotic Madrid and the staff is gentle and friendly. They all speak English and are very patient with people like me who are trying to speak Spanish.

My favorite coffee shop in La Latina! Super cute place, very good coffee and cakes. I love their banana bread and tarta de queso. The only issue is that the place is small, so you can have trouble to sit if you go during busy hours.

I was only in Madrid for a few days on vacation, but I've been back several times because it's such a cute and welcoming place! El Perro de Pavlov Cafe is a lovely welcoming cafe, it has a cosy atmosphere and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. In my opinion, the food was exceptional. The overnight oats are a must have (perhaps the best I have ever had!), and the Pan con Tomate was delicious. It is easy to see that the food is lovingly made. The coffee was lovely and smooth and went down a treat too! I highly recommend this cafe.

Simple and good. It feels like home here. The food tastes homemade, I loved that coffee—rich milk and great beans. Everyone was so kind, and it's just so cozy. We got tomato and cheese toast, jam and butter toast, and hummus toast. They were all delicious, but the tomato with cheese was the best.

The drinks here are delicious and you can tell that a lot of work and creativity goes into making them. I’ve had the matcha latte and the seasonal Maple Peanut Butter Latte and they were both delightful. They offer many vegan options, including milk and food. The two women working were super kind. The atmosphere is quirky and stylish.

Looks and feels better than the pictures. As cute and cosy as you would want. Make an effort, be polite and chatty to the people working here and it will pay off in the best possible way. Chai latte was delicious and everything served looked good. I would definitely recommend going out of your way for this one.

What a discovery! Best coffee and breakfast you will find in Madrid (the pan con tomate was so delicious, i had it twice!). Quality ingredients, service with care and a friendly smile, and a beautiful ambience. A must visit! My new regular :-)

Best specialty coffee in España. Perfect espresso and cortado. We have spent 5 weeks in the Iberian peninsula and we go hunting for the best coffee each morning. This is easily the winner.

Nice little cafe where everything is prepared with great care, and there's a good selection of toasts, drinks and cakes. Plus, the background music when I was there was really pleasant!

El café estaba buenísimo aunque es un precio bastante caro ... pero bueno la cantidad bse paga . El sitio es agradable y el servicio fue bueno .

Sitio muy coqueto para tomar café con opción de brunch para dos personas. La tostada de aguacate con salmón buenísima aunque un pelín pequeña. No tiene 5 estrellas porque el café es más bien normalito, y no tienen bebida de soja ni leche sin lactosa.

Cafetería con una encantadora ambientación vintage y eslava, que recuerda a la casa de la abuela. El café es de muy buena calidad, ideal para disfrutar con calma. Sus tartas, caseras y elaboradas con esmero, son una delicia y una de las grandes razones para visitar este acogedor rincón. Un lugar perfecto para quienes buscan un ambiente nostálgico y una merienda deliciosa.

Went there for brunch on 7 Nov 2025. Ordered 2 of their toast dishes, and they were great! Hummus was really good and paired well with the serrano ham that we had added on, while the tomato’s sweetness on the other dish was such a delightful complement to the added cured ham. However, one drawback about the place was the presumable undertone of racial bias - as my partner and I didn’t speak Spanish, service to us was considerably slower and colder (in comparison to the table next door).

El café es malo. Un espresso muy largo, sobre-extraído, para nada afrutado ni sabroso. Sólo resquemado. Un amante del buen café decepcionado. No dudo que los dulces estén ricos. El local es agradable y el servicio, estupendo.
