The food was outrageously good. I mean my friend and I have had a good amount of higher quality meat from Texas (the state to be In for meat in Texas) and this tops it 100%. I mean it’s something with the olive oil, the butter, the quality of the meat/ any of the food. It begets this universal flavor that can recreate flavor for anyone’s palate. It’s amazing. This is a great Asturian restaurant right near Plaza Olavide, with a ton of space (unlike most other restaurants in the neighborhood). They make an amazing cachopo with cecina and goat cheese, and make sure to ask about the cachopo specials. They have a great house cider as well. They recently changed their name and I haven't been since, so I hope the quality remains the same.

Disfrutamos de una comida libre de gluten y sin miedo a la contaminación cruzada. Comimos varios platos a compartir como fabada, pote, cachopo, carne a la piedra y postres variados. Al ser un grupo grande nos pusieron en una zona abovedada solo para nosotros con mucho encanto. La comida estaba deliciosa y la cantidad muy generosa.

La experiencia en general estuvo bien, aunque me gustaría diferenciar entre el servicio y la comida: El servicio de los camareros fue más que correcto, pero la gerencia tuvo algún gesto que hace que la nota sea media (que no baja): teniendo una reserva para 12 personas, nos pusieron en unas mesas preparadas para 8 (de hecho inicialmente había 8 manteles en mesa), y cuando le hicimos saber que la reserva era de 12 nos hizo un comentario ligeramente desagradable. Conclusión: acabamos comiendo en la mesa de 8. En cuanto a la comida, la calidad es buena: - De los entrantes, destacaría las patatas al cabrales, con una salsa muy conseguida, aunque el pastel y la morcilla no tuvieron tanto éxito. Tanto los quesos como los chipirones (sin foto) fueron correctos. - El cahopo muy tierno y muy bueno. - El chuletón también nos gustó mucho (el sabor muy bueno, notándose la maduración y el punto excelente, aunque la carne se notaba fría (y en ocasiones dura) en algunos cortes. En cuanto al precio, algunos platos nos parecieron caros para la cantidad ofrecida (quesos y chipirones), aunque por otro lado el precio/kg del chuletón nos pareció muy bueno, y el cachopo también. En resumen: comida de calidad, con un precio en general ligeramente elevado y un servicio decente pero mejorable.

Es un restaurante asturiano 100% sin gluten, totalmente seguro para celíacos. La comida estaba buenísima y las raciones son muy generosas. Probamos las croquetas variadas, los fritos (especial mención a las gabardinas, espectaculares) y un cachopo de ternera con cecina y queso que estaba increíble. Todo acompañado con una buena botella de sidra. Un sitio al que sin duda volveremos!

Nos aceptaron la reserva a las 22 y ya ahí empezó el problema, para ellos por lo que se ve, metiéndonos prisa para pedir y para comer, supongo que para irse antes a casa. Si no vas a tratar de manera adecuada a los comensales pues no aceptes reservas tan tarde!!!!! Muy decepcionada con el personal la verdad. Sobre la comida destacaría el chorizo criollo y la carne. Los chipirones no estaban nada ricos. El cachopo también estaba rico pero no deja de ser un filete empanado. Y por último, la tarta de queso si estaba rica. Aún así me fui con mal sabor de boca por la impertinencia de los camareros.

My husband and I went here last week as I am a Celiac. We took the metro specifically to try this restaurant out because my husband wanted to try cachopo after watching a true crime documentary on Netflix where the main character called himself the "King of Cachopo." When we arrived there was a group playing bagpipes at full blast. Unfortunately we were directed to a table in the same room as the bag pipers. I believe these people were other customers celebrating something, but it was incredibly annoying and loud. We asked for menus multiple times and it wasn't until after our cider had been delivered that we got our menus. It took too long waiting around to receive the menu. My Spanish is poor, but my husband and I were able to order the croquettes (variety) as a starter and we each got a different type of cachopo and I ordered the gluten-free bread with chimichurri. For some reason despite the restaurant claiming to be 100% gluten-free, they offer a regular bread option, which could contaminate the kitchen. I don't understand the purpose of even offering regular gluten bread at this restaurant. The croquettes came out with the main meal instead of as a starter. We unfortunately only ate ⅓ of the croquettes because the non-meat croquettes tasted mostly of blue cheese. Not a fan. The gluten-free bread for €2.50 wasn't a good value because it was literally just a bread roll. It wasn't even warm. I had to remind the waiter that I ordered chimichurri. What arrived was a vinegar-based red sauce rather than true chimichurri made with parsley. The cachopo was huge and enough for 3 people. Our waiter had warned us that it was big but we got our leftovers to go. For 1 cider, 1 appetizer of croquettes, 2 cachopo and 1 bread roll was about €80 and took 2 hours. I would have liked to have been sat downstairs away from the noisy bagpipers, had a menu when we sat down, and had the starter brought out as an a starter rather than with the main meal.

Elegimos el sitio al ser sin gluten para una comida de empresa. No estuvo mal, sin embargo a todos nos pareció muy, muy caro. Algunos ejemplos son un panecillo por persona a 2 € o la jarra de cerveza de grifo a 16 €, las tostas que aparecen en las fotos también fueron una sugerencia y al ver el precio en el ticket alucinamos a 24€ cada ración y era un entrante o los quesos esa bandeja con un precio elevado. La comida está buena, como éramos muchos nos dejamos aconsejar, eso sí, quitando algunos platos segundos porqué nos ofrecían muchísima comida y hubiera sobrado mucho, incrementado aún más el ticket… cosa que no nos gustó mucho a ninguno porqué nos pareció que querían poner más cosas de las necesarias e incrementar así la cuenta, así que salimos bastante decepcionados.

La comida estaba buena, pero fuimos a celebrar un cumpleaños y 2 personas se quedaron sin comer. Ni una explicación nos dieron solo lo siento.

El local es bonito y muy grande, con disponibilidad de mucha mesas. Lo que falta es más personal para poder servir de forma eficiente. Todo había empezado bien pero en cuanto se empezó a llenar el local, fue un desastre. Traer una botella de agua con dos copas para vino (y pedí una copa de vino) y no traer vasos para el agua (y tardar más de 10 min para ello). La espera en servir la comida fue adecuada y el cachopo estaba bueno, las patatas algo crudas. Lo que más me ha molestado es pedir la cuenta y esperar más de 45 minutos. Podría haber esperado más tiempo pero nos levantamos y fuimos directamente a la barra a la planta de arriba. Y de nuevo esperar 10 min abundantes para poder pagar. Entiendo que estaban desbordados pero si tienes Poco personal hay que reducir mesas. Aprecié el detalle de invitar a las bebidas (1 copa de vino y una cerveza)

Hacia mucho calor y no ponían el aire acondicionado, la camarera era borde pero la comida estaba muy rica. No nos dejaron pedir los entrantes antes y luego los segundos. Pedimos un chuletón de 850gr y nos pusieron unos de 1'850gr sin avisar, entiendo que no puedan poner chuletones pequeños, pero avisa y al llegar con el a la mesa no me digas que es de 850gr refiriendote a 1'850kilos. Fuimos por recomendación del cachopo y no nos gustó. Demasiado hecho y poco queso. Las croquetas ricas pero sin más y los fritos de merluza con poco sabor. Buena atención pero no vale el precio.

The waiter recommended the dishes to us, and an really absurd amount of food arrived for 2 adults and 1 child. When we spoke about it, he pretended not to understand... We were very unhappy, not only for paying for food we didn't even eat a third of, but for the waste that should always be avoided as a matter of principle. They should reconsider their approach.

We had a disappointing experience. The cachopo was undercooked, salty and chewy, while the beef fillet came out extremely overcooked and rushed. For three people, we paid €130 (2 starters, 2 mains, 3 glasses of wine, and 2 coffees, no dessert), which felt overpriced given the poor quality of the food. The atmosphere was also uncomfortable: the air conditioning upstairs was far too strong, while downstairs it was uncomfortably warm with an unattractive fan blowing toward the bar. Overall, not a place I would recommend for either quality or value.

We opted for this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and we were tired from traveling and a busy day. They accompanied us to a room which at that moment was empty of other guests, we sat down and the waiter brought us a menu and some hot bread.We immediately asked to have a menu for both me and my husband, to be able to read better since we don't speak Spanish but only a little English. The waiter didn't seem to understand, then other staff intervened and brought us the second menu. From this moment the waiter practically ignored us. We would have liked explanations on the characteristics of some dishes, as happens in every self-respecting restaurant, perhaps to taste some local specialties...in the meantime other guests arrived who were not only welcomed and "taken care of" but some were already starting to eat... so we decided to choose two simple hamburgers, we "intercepted" a young waitress, or perhaps she was part of the staff but assigned to another task, since we never saw her in the room again, and we asked her if we could have two " cow burgher" of which one is rare and the other medium rare, and some water. After about 15-20 minutes, when all the guests who entered the room after us were already eating, we reported the long wait several times to other staff: a person, perhaps the room manager? I don't know... however she took an interest in us by bringing us a sort of tapas, apologizing for the delay but citing unsustainable reasons, namely that our orders required a long preparation timeWe felt really cheated: we were tired and our English was probably not fluent, but in a city like Madrid they should be used to various types of customers, I hope this is not the treatment they reserve for all tourists....to conclude, after about an hour we ate two hamburgers which had definitely exceeded the required level of cooking! I am amending and adding, in response to the response I received from the restaurant immediately after the review was published, that it is indeed you, there are your photos on your website... I don't know if you want to continue making fun of us. ... but this is our experience, we are telling it exactly how it went.
