Beautiful and cosy interior design. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Coffee was delicious and the toasted croissant tasted amazing. The avocado toast lacked salt in my opinion, but I guess that's matter of personal preference.

We visited Pum Pum Café last year and loved it, so we made a point of coming back on this trip to Madrid. The avocado toast was just as good as we remembered, and the breakfast overall was delicious. The coffee was excellent too. It’s a really nice, relaxed spot to start the day before heading out to explore (we went before visiting the museum). Definitely recommend!

Great place for brunch, food came out really fast and fresh, you must try their cakes we ordered to share and the banana and carrot cake with creams takes so good. Coffee is solid. Come early as long queue as we waiting only 15min. Will be back next time when I back to Madrid

We came for brunch and were instantly charmed cozy chaos, pink chairs, and the kind of vibe that says, “This place used to be a garage, but now we serve oat flat whites.” Pum Pum Bakery is one of those spots that feels like it was designed by someone who really loves rustic concrete, vintage scales, and seating arrangements that challenge your core strength. It’s half cool Berlin loft, half that one friend’s kitchen who never throws anything away because it’s “character.” As for the food: the avocado toast looked like it had been plated with a ruler and a deep sense of purpose. The eggs were perfectly runny, and the sesame seeds gave it that subtle crunch of “we’re trying, okay?” It was genuinely tasty, but also very… small brunch energy. You’ll enjoy it, just don’t show up starving unless you plan to chase it with three croissants and a prayer. The croissant itself was shiny enough to signal passing planes, which we respect. Service was chill, as in, there was service, somewhere, eventually. But no one’s rushing. This is the kind of place where the line between “laid-back” and “forgot you existed” is part of the charm. And yes, we bought the tote bag.

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful experience at Pum Pum Café in Madrid. We enjoyed a delightful spread that included toast, a cortado, cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a croissant with yogurt. The food was incredibly tasty, and each bite was satisfying. The café was pretty busy, which is always a good sign of its popularity, but the atmosphere remained inviting and cozy. It’s truly a lovely place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Croissant 🥐 is definitely tasty! You have to get there earlier to grab your croissant! We arrived around 10 am and fortunately there is still one left for us! Latte is also recommended!

It was a lovely little space for brunch and a break for brunch mainly. Visited twice, in the weekends it is more crowded but the service was amazing and very friendly. They also offered a menu for 10 euros that included coffee croissant Benedict eggs and yogurt with oat and fruits, and u can change it also! I believe is a descent brunch for around 4.5 stars! Espresso tonic was very good and is a must for the summer! I truly recommend it!

El lugar es coqueto y se llena enseguida. Lo mejor sin duda el café! Las tostadas estaban buenas, pero para mi gusto el pan algo duro. La atencion muy buena y el ambiente acogedor.

Sitio rico para ir a desayunar por Lavapiés. Pedimos los huevos benedictinos (te cobran suplemento por un huevo extra) y el cruasán y estaban los dos buenísimos. El café regular la verdad. Se puede teletrabajar aunque las mesas son bastante pequeñas y hay poca luz.

Estuvimos muy a gusto, aunque solo pedimos bebida. El matcha estaba muy bueno. El local era agradable, pero quizás no es el más cómodo para estar muchas horas. Lo único malo es que pedí limonada pensando que sería natural, y era de botella.

Los dulces muy ricos y las tostadas igual!Lo único que las tostadas para su precio deberían llevar más cantidad de producto.Todo artesanal..Los findes de semana hay mucha cola y hay que esperar por lo menos 20-30 minutos. El café Buonisssimo!Lo recomiendo

Fuimos a esta cafetería a tomar brunch y, en general, la experiencia fue bastante buena, aunque con algún detalle mejorable. El brunch tenía un precio de 15 € e incluía un café, un zumo de naranja, un cruasán, un yogur con fresa y plátano y una tostada con aguacate y un huevo poché. La cantidad nos pareció adecuada y la calidad de la comida fue buena: el aguacate estaba fresco, el huevo poché en su punto y el yogur con fruta muy rico. Es un brunch completo y equilibrado, ideal para empezar el día con calma. Sin embargo, al principio tuvimos un pequeño problema con el zumo de naranja, ya que no quisieron colarnos uno de ellos y el trato inicial fue un poco desagradable, lo que empañó un poco la primera impresión. Por suerte, una de las camareras fue muy amable, entendió la situación y consiguió solucionarlo, lo cual se agradece mucho y demuestra que hay personal con buena actitud y ganas de ayudar. A pesar de ese mal comienzo, salimos contentos con la experiencia general. Es un buen sitio para brunchear, con comida rica y bien presentada, aunque deberían cuidar más el trato al cliente desde el primer momento. Volveríamos, esperando que el servicio sea tan bueno como la comida. ☕🥐🍳

Muy buen servicio. Cafés y té de distintos tipos y tartas variadas (la de limón, muy rica). También tienen sandwiches y cosas así. El sitio es agradable, aunque las mesas son un poco pequeñas. El precio, según la economía de cada uno, 1 té, 1 capuchino y 2 trozos de tarta no muy grandes, aunque muy buenas y suficientes, fueron algo más de 18 euros.

Nice little cafe with great coffee and good food! The coffee really stood out and the food was good but a bit small for the prices. 9€for a sourdough bread with avocado and poached eggs and 8€ for a granola bowl. Service was okay - they were friendly but you have to order at the counter and pay straight away which is very American and does encourage to have second drinks or stay a bit (which might be on purpose) The vibe is cool

A charming coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere, affordable menu, and friendly staff. The cheese cafe banana dessert with ice cream were delicious and worth trying. However, the espresso was a bit disappointing… bitter and watery, lacking the rich flavor I expected. With better coffee, this place could truly shine.

I found about this cafe on Google recommendation. Ambience is quiet nice. They have good English breakfast options. Staff is very nice and Kind. Big groups can expect large waiting times. We were too thats why it didn’t too much. Food was good and portions were adequate. I would highly recommend this cafe if you are in Madrid and enjoy English Breakfast.

If you are in the area this cafe is worth visiting. If not be prepared to wait to get a seat as it does get busy. Oddly enough they had a small selection of pastries when I visited the place.

El sitio es muy mono y acogedor, las tote bag para la calidad me pareció muy barata y me compré una (6 €). Me pedí además un flat white que estaba HIRVIENDO. Comento esto porque un café de especialidad no te lo pueden dar hirviendo de esa manera.

Empiezan a ser iguales todos los cafés, y este es demasiado pequeño para encontrar sitio y muy caluroso. No tiene aire acondicionado. La comida me gustó, pero ya nada sorprende. Si vas de paso y tienen sitio quizás te merezca la pena una paradita. Creo que en invierno puede ser más interesante.

El lugar es muy lindo, caliente y acogedor, el cafe muy rico, las tostadas benedictinas no me gustaron mucho el huevo estaba a punto pero le falta un jamón o bacon como debería ser. No me gusta que uno tenga que levantarse para pedir y agarrar azúcar y esas cosas. Atendimento bien

We saw a youtube video that this place is a must visit. Sadly our experience was not so great. We were very excited to visit. The service was kinda ok. We had to as for our water like 4 times. In the end we got it. The atmosphere is ok but no air conditioning, so it was a bit hot and sweaty. The food was ok. I got focaccia but it wasn't really tasty or near italian style. The banana bread was good. Drinks were normal. I don't think we will be back again to visit. It was an average spot, so not really worth the hype. And prices were quite high.

Me habían dado muy buenas referencias de este sitio, pero mi experiencia fue bastante decepcionante. Parece que su esencia se ha perdido por el camino. El café estaba correcto, sin más. El croissant, en cambio, era de baja calidad y estaba seco. Pedí una tosta de aguacate con huevos benedict, pero el “aguacate” resultó ser una crema industrial con un sabor ácido poco agradable, y el huevo no tenía nada especial. No pude comerme ni la mitad. Por lo tanto, muy caro todo para lo que es. El servicio tampoco estuvo a la altura: nadie te mira a los ojos ni te atiende con profesionalidad, lo que hace que la experiencia sea fría y poco cuidada. Si no mejoran o mejor dicho vuelven a su esencia, creo que el local tiene los días contados.
