No defrauda. El atún en escabeche buenísmo! Y el tomate muy rico también. Han subido los precios desde la última vez que vine, pero aún así está todo muy bien. Muy recomendable y la atención muy buena y muy rápida!

Puedo decir que de lo mejor que he probado en Málaga. Me ha gustado mucho la tortilla de camarones y la ensaladilla de pulpo. En cuanto al personal, Edu (el camarero que nos atendió) siempre muy atento y amable con todo, se nota que le gusta y lo hace genial vaya un crack. Y el ambiente que había y la decoración de lujo. Lo recomiendo!!

Absolutely superb people chefs, food. A good atmosphere in the old style bar or sitting outside. Near the park in hulein on the way to the beach. Tourists like me love finding a new place every time they visit and Er Pichi de Cai is the one for me. A little taste of Cadiz indeed, there was a little taste of Galicia too about the Ensalaldilla Pulpo. It was delicious. I went to my hotel, checked in and then had to go back and have some more. I'll be going for more every time I visit Málaga. I also had the chick peas with shrimp. Very delicious too and my next best after the ensalaldilla pulpo. I can't praise it enough. I have been searching for my appetite since I had treatment for throat cancer a year ago. This dish hit every note. Tasty but not so spicy I choked. Melt in the mouth chewy and moist all the way down. Good chefs know how to make Pulpo perfect. When it's perfect it's such a versatile food. Thank you and I'll see you again soon I hope.

My favourite go-to place for the best "Tortilla de Camarones" in Malaga. They also have other great tapas (almondigas, atun rojo) - all of which are available at high quality and really great prices. The service of the wait staff are very friendly too.

UPD: we got there the other night and tuna steak was just amazing! Just be careful with the timing and try to call guys in advance and ask about opening times :) This place was closed on Monday night (21.11.2022) while there was no signage or any updates on the Google Maps page. We were very disappointed as we went there specifically based on good reviews from our local friends and took the time to get there, so it would be very nice to remember to manage the hours of operation in GMaps, or at least on the front door ;(

Absolutely amazing food- no one speaks any English and I speak no Spanish, but so so lovely and helpful. The food was 10/10 (best tuna tataki ever) and the wine was excellent. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Great value for money!! Loved it

Un buen sitio para disfrutar de chacinas y algunos guisos tradicionales. Lo que más me gustó fueron la ensaladilla amarilla, la ensaladilla de pulpo y las albóndigas de chocos, que estaban muy buenas. El servicio fue ágil y nos permitieron ir pidiendo poco a poco, lo cual hizo la experiencia aún más agradable.

Comida muy rica y con una carta amplia. Las bebidas, deberían tener una carta. La caña es extremadamente pequeña por casi 3€. Mucho mejor un tercio por el mismo precio. La tortilla camarones muy muy rica. Pondría el 5 pero el tema de la bebida creo que es un punto que deben mejorarlo, no está claro ni precios ni medidas. El personal, súper agradable.

Lo que destacó de este lugar, es la comida. Lo principal. Todo muy sabroso, lo cual se disfruta desde el primer bocado hasta el último. Recomiendo mucho el pulpo y el atún en escabeche. Riquísimo. Hay que ir con tiempo, suele haber mucha gente, hablando de los findes.

Buenas noches, hemos ido esta noche a cenar 2 parejas, cual ha sido nuestra sorpresa, la indignación y la queja.....que ya no sirven media ración, pero te pone la cantidad de antes de media ración, por una ración y al precio de ración, nos ha parecido una pasada, hablamos con conocimiento de causa, somos clientes (de siempre) desde qué abrió en Tomás de Echeverría y sabemos muy bien las cantidades y precios. Las personas q llegan por primera vez o turistas lo pagan y punto porque no conocen nada anteriormente. Pero clientes y vecinos que vamos con frecuencia lo hemos notado bastante, a 2€ y 3€ más por la misma cantidad terminas pagando de 15€ a 20€ más. Y estando cenando más clientes ha demostrado también su disconformidad. Qué estamos en un barrio Ismael. Lo mismo es el boca, boca para promocionar a Er Pichi, que no sea ahora por esto. Me alegro, que te vaya también y estés abriendo otros. Pero tienes que tener en cuenta como siempre calidad y precio. We came to this restaurant for dinner after reading Google & TripAdvisor reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The seating options in the dining area were both uncomfortable: tables that were too low, making it awkward to eat while leaning down, and barrel tables with high bar stools that were equally impractical. We ordered zambrinos, which were decently prepared. However, the rest of the meal was a letdown. The tuna was simply dumped out of a can and served with unappetizing, overcooked vegetables. The octopus was burnt and swimming in oil. The octopus legs were overcooked, smelled burnt, and tasted dry with a charred aftertaste. The only things that were decent were the wine, the water, and these zambrinos. I believe the 50 euros spent were wasted. I rarely write negative reviews, but I couldn't hold back this time. The waitress seemed surprised when we didn't finish our meal and asked what we didn't like.
