Tal y como dicen las reseñas, la atención de Benito es muy buena, de la que ya no encuentras fácilmente en bares y restaurantes, profesional, muy atento, y a la vez con ese toque de humor justo sin pasarse. Solo probamos tres platos, pero bien los tres y el precio me pareció bien teniendo en cuenta donde estamos. El servicio fue rápido.

Restaurante muy aconsejable, en pleno centro de Málaga, Plaza del carbón. Comida muy rica, pedimos solo puntas de solomillo y gambas al pil pil, porque no nos gusta pasarnos en la cena. Servicio sin esperas, en su justo momento y precios dentro de la normalidad. Benito, un crack. Gracias por el detalle, paisano. Volveremos.

So good but if you want a table when they open you need to queue 20mins before they open and the tables are on a 1st come 1st serve basis so just grab one when you get in the door. The tables in the back at kept for reservations. We didnt know this and made the the mistake of trying to get a table in the back and even though we were 4th in the queue, by the time we realised what was happening we got the last table. Everything from then on was fantastic, great food, 4ppl, 4btls of wine and lots of great tapas over a couple of hours.

Absolutely delicious. Make sure to go early/for when they open if you don’t want to wait for a spot. They do take a small amount of resos. Did find there was too much Fresca in my tinto de. Eranobso would just go with red wine. Loved the fresh salad we got as a free little appetizer. Recommend the goat dish.

The place is just 30 meters off the populated streets of malaga downtown. Its like a gate to a different era. We sat at the bar and the boss, without a single word in English was extraodinary. Helpfull funny and efficient. The food is excellent too. A must in malaga. Wonderful.

Come here if you want to have a delicious local meal, complex in taste, but easy on your wallet in a cozy, family-like environment. This restaurant has two seating areas, one for tapas for walk-ins and another one for reservations. You cannot get tapas in the reservations space. Grilled artichoke, cold, tomato soup, fried cod with garlic are a must to try. Kids are welcome, and everyone is welcome here.

Excellent food, friendly staff, prompt service - a historic place in the heart of the centro. A number of dishes with Artichokes which was a little new for us, loved it. Would highly recommend. When we left there was a decent long queue building up outside.

The food is absolutely amazing! We tried the specials the first night and then went back a second night on our visit to Malaga. The bar tender the first night spoke english so it made it a little easier on us. Tehsecodn night, she did not, but that didn't stop her from trying to help. Locals noticed us, and they woud chime in. It's definitely a place for locals, and we tourists are along for the ride. Don't miss the boquerones, the ablondios, and alcochofa. The tuna was also phenomenal. If I ever return to Malaga, I'll find the closest place to stay from here.

Such a lively local restaurant. When we arrived the line was out the door so we went inside to put our names on the list. We did wait about 40 minutes for a table but it was prime lunch time. The food was all amazing and worth the wait. I will add all the fo9d except the free salad was salty so if your on a sodium restricted diet ask before ordering. I was told the high salty flavor is normal in Spain. My favorite dish was the grilled artichokes. This restaurant offers many different artichoke preparations. Artichokes are thier specility. The Chickpea vegetable stew was so hearty and delicious. Tere is a huge menu of both tapas and entrees to choose from.

Great place for food and drink. Good wine selection. Very special are the various artichoke dishes. Not overrun by tourists and many nice locals come here. The portions are big, so be careful, we ordered too much! The service is also top even if it is a very busy place. If you get there occasionally ask inside for a seat and wait to be called. Definitely worth the long waiting.

If you want an authentic tapas experience, it doesn't get much more authentic than this. Bustling with locals queuing up before it opens, this casual and unassuming spot has amazing flavours and specializes in artichokes among others. We also tried the goat leg (would probably pick something else next time). The daily salad special with prawns and avocado and tomatoes was one of the freshest we've tried. Delicious!!

Fui a almorzar el martes 22 de abril, lamentablemente viví una accidentada experiencia, y accidentes puede haberlos, pero la disculpa, la preocupación e intentar, o al menos fingirla, es esencial, entre los platos que pedí fueron unas alcachofas con jamón, bien presentado, con un pequeño corazón y hojas abiertas muy fibrosas, prácticamente incomibles, e inundadas en aceite de oliva, que el mozo se ocupó de colocar en mi pantalón, en lugar de acercarse por mi lado, pretendló levantar el plato desde el otro extremo de la mesa, el resultado los cubiertos y parte del aceite confirmaron la Ley de la Gravedad, gravedad agravada porque tras decir sólo ya lo arreglamos se retiró rapidamente, pensé traerá un quitamanchas, pero apareció con una porción de postre y dos cucharas, por supuesto que no lo comí, sólo precisaba algo para mitigar la mancha, y principalmente una disculpa, pagué a una moza, ya que el joven mozo no volvió más y me retiré de allí, mi esposa me preguntó porqué no fui a hablar con el encargado y/o propietario, le respondí porque ese era el principal responsable, por contratar mano de obra barata, por emplear gente sin experiencia, y principalmente por no capacitarlos. Es acnedótico que el pantalón no se ha logrado limpiar en la tintorería. Les he contado sólo mi pésima experiencia, para otros será buena... o nada de ellas si no van.

El pero sitio en el que he estado en mi vida, para empezar llegamos y nos dieron la peor mesa que había y ya empezando con mala cara, era el día de mi cumpleaños y me lo arruinaron completamente. Fui con mi pareja, pedí una paella para comer yo sola de CARNE, ya que en la carta ponía a elegir de verduras, carne o vegetariana. Mi pareja pidió un entrecot que estaba más seco y soso que otra cosa, le dijimos el chico y nos ignoró. Cuando me llegó la paella, ya especificada que era de CARNE, me llegó de POLLO, y me dije el gerente que son de pollo no de carne, pero que me iba a hacer una a mí de carne, ya que le enseñé en las fotos del restaurante que si hacían de carne. Me tocó esperar otros 30 minutos, y me vuelve a traer la misma paella de POLLO pero con el doble de verduras. Aparte de tener que aguantar ese mal trato, tuve que soportar que dentro, cuando iba al servicio, se comentara sobre mí que era una pesada y que me comiera la puta paella, especialmente un chaval de la barra. Hasta que se dieron cuenta que estaba escuchando todo. El señor moreno calvo, un completo horror trabajando, no sabe trabajar ni tratar con la gente, es un mal educado y lo único que hace es mirar mal. No sé si se pensaban que éramos turistas pero ni aún así se debería de tratar así a las personas. Gracias por arruinar mi cena de cumpleaños, justo que quisimos parar en este sitio por su estupendas reseñas. Ni la comida ni el tratado valen la pena. Si no quieren que les amargue el momento, porfavor sigan más adelante que tendrán mejores sitios donde cenar.
