Consistently good avocados and fish!! The owner and son are very nice and hospitable. The space is very clean, food comes out quickly, and waters refilled without having to ask! Love coming here and glad to have our sushi spot in the area. Also dog friendly on the patio. Their lunch specials are a great value too.

You will always get a solid meal at Ginban. Consistently fresh and tasty sushi. Hot dishes are also flavorful. The menu has a nice balance of offering, not overwhelming in options but ample choices for everyone to find a favorite. All the wait staff is excellent and of particular note Thomas is personable, kind and helpful. He knows our family by name and makes us feel more than welcome every time we come which is several times a month.

Update June 2022: Just came back and brought friends with us since we enjoyed it so much last time. We ordered the tom yam soup, rock shrimp tempura, crispy calamari, pepper tuna tataki, yellowtail jalapeño pizza, and sashimi ceviche as appetizers to share and they were all delicious. For entrees we ordered the sushi and sashimi combo, dancing dragon roll and spicy girl roll, toro sushi and eel sushi, teriyaki steak, grilled Chilean sea bass, and pad Thai and udon which we enjoyed last time. The food is really good and the quality is the same if not better than last time. The manager Thomas made sure we had a great time and checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our meal and we really did. Highly recommend! Original review from February 2022: Very spacious and nicely furnished sushi restaurant. The sushi rolls were delicious, nicely wrapped and presented. The sashimi was also very fresh. We also ordered the pad thai and udon and they were also delicious. Highly recommend if you are in the area, the atmosphere is also perfect for date night.

My favorite sushi restaurant. Absolutely love Thomas. Have been going here for quite a few years now. We even did a local commercial once. Have taken co-workers, friends and family for lunch, dinner and business meetings. Clean great service. Drink specials are really good. Must try everything on the menu if not just ask Thomas for suggestions. If you're ever disappointed it may just not have been your day. It happens. We've never been disappointed. Any leftovers my daughter Angela will always eat even for breakfast. Also enjoy the conversations with the staff and at the same time the privacy they know how to give. Enjoy!!!!

I went to Ginban on a date night with my husband and we both enjoyed the food. I had the Chicken Hibachi Minor and the Snow White Roll. BOTH were incredible! The staff is extremely nice, the decor is different than anything I've seen and it was overall a great experience!

I wasn’t to crazy about the clear soup, but the hibachi salmon was very good. Maybe cooked a little too long but, the flavor was tasteful. Great customer service

One of the best Sushi restaurant in Westchester county. Very fresh and great selection of Japanese food. The sushi are wonderfully prepared. Attentive services and soothing atmosphere are great combination of a perfect dinner. Thomas can really help to improve the perfect dinning experience.

I am a regular and one waitress is cold, rude and inattentive. I’ve given her many chances. But after ignoring me last time it’s not ok. Food is amazing, Sushi chefs and other waitstaff amazing. Just added the video of her sweeping with dirty gloves and coming to me. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time.

The sushi did not taste great.we had three different roles and they were tasteless, especially the rice. The waiting time after we ordered was 50 minutes, on a not very busy Tuesday. The ambient looks great though.

Just got takeout. Not much taste to the sushi and not very well made. Toro roll was chewy. Spring rolls similar to frozen ones. King salmon was fine.

I was really disappointed with the food at this sushi restaurant. While the place itself is nice and the staff is friendly, the quality of the sushi is very poor- the ingredients clearly aren’t fresh - the nori was so hard it felt like I was eating plastic and the cream cheese tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for too long. I ended up asking for the check and leaving everything on my plate. I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a good sushi.
