Specifico subito che ho un'intolleranza ai latticini. Ero con un'amica e mia figlia, loro hanno ordinato un paio d'ore ravioli alla zucca e rosso alla mantovana con salsiccia. Ho chiesto se i ravioli presto farmeli avere senza burro e parmigiano, mi hanno accontentata tuttavia sono arrivato troppo al dente, si vedeva l'anima tagliandoli a metà. Ho sbagliato non dicendo nulla e quando ormai avevo quasi terminato il piatto il cameriere mi ha chiesto come andava ho detto che non erano buoni. Gentilissimi mi hanno spiegato che proprio i miei li avevano scolati e serviti nel piatto mentre gli altri li avevano ripassati in padella col burro. Non ci hanno fatto pagare il piatto, ci hanno offerto un dolce, i caffè e gli amari. Dolci eccezionali. Lo consiglio.

Splendido ristorante situato in una posizione unica della "Vecchia Mantova". In particolare la bella piazza, dove sono collocati i tavolini all'aperto, è il centro di una scenografia unica, che si colora di maggior fascino quando comincia ad imbrunire. I camerieri sono cortesi e consigliano con competenza cibi e vini. La cucina offre specialità di Mantova, ma offre egregiamente molti ottimi piatti della cucina italiana, e tutto è ben cucinato e ben preparato. I prezzi sono giusti e ben rapportari alla qualità dei cibi e della cucina. Conviene prenotare e, quando si è al tavolo, prendersi il tempo per godere appieno il pranzo o la cena.
Gentili e professionali. Location in pieno centro storico, ma molto tranquillo. Carino l'interno e dehors d'estate. Buona scelta di piatti tipici (luccio, Riso alla Pilota, Luccio alla Mantovana, Culaccia). Lasciatevi consigliare un vino locale. Buon rapporto costo/qualità.

Bellissima la location , una tra le più belle piazze interne e nascoste di Mantova . Stupenda la posizione dei tavoli all'esterno , immersi nella parte forse più storica e nascosta della città. Qui puoi assaggiare piatti tipici mantovani mischiati con ricette siciliane , ottimo connubio . Ampia scelta di piatti e ottima e ampia scelta sulla carta dei vini . Eccellente il servizio , sempre cordiale e attento alle esigenze dei clienti . Praticamente nessuna nota negativa , solo buon cibo in un angolo stupendo di Mantova . Prezzi nella media . Super consigliato per chi vuole passare una serata respirando la mantovanità . Bravi . Complimenti

Personale attento e disponibile, qualità impeccabile di cibo e cantina, proposte interessanti per abbinamento e varietà, con un pizzico di contaminazione siciliana che aggiunge una nota di colore al tutto. Esperienza fantastica! Abbiamo mangiato benissimo in questa trattoria accogliente a pranzo. I tortellini di zucca erano semplicemente deliziosi: pasta fresca, ripieno saporito e combinazione di sapori perfetta. I Camerieri sono stati gentilissimi e attenti al servizio, creando un'atmosfera piacevole. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Torneremo sicuramente!"
Il Tiratappi è la sintesi perfetta della cucina mantovana: piatti tipici cucinati con passione, porzioni generose e sapori autentici che ti fanno sentire subito a casa. Dai tortelli di zucca ai risotti, ogni portata racconta la tradizione del territorio con una qualità che conquista al primo assaggio. La posizione è davvero comoda e strategica, facile da raggiungere e ideale sia per chi viene da fuori che per chi vive in zona. L’ambiente è caldo e accogliente, con quello stile sincero che ti fa capire di essere nel posto giusto per vivere la vera Mantova a tavola. Un ristorante che non delude mai: ottimo cibo, atmosfera genuina e un rapporto qualità-prezzo che merita applausi.
Ristorante assolutamente consigliato, piatti tradizionali e siculi (perché lo chef è siculo) abbinati sapientemente da vini del territorio lombardo-est. Prezzi equilibratissimi, antipasto - primo - 2 calici - acqua e caffè + coperto €65 (e siete in una delle piazze più belle di Mantova. Alla prossima, senza dubbio! PS: per gli stomaci difficili, si digerisce tutto benissimo, sintomo di ottima fattura e ottimi ingredienti.

Siamo andati sotto consiglio di un'amica, non poteva andare meglio. Posto molto bello e d'atmosfera. Servizio eccellente, tutto il personale molto gentile, cordiale e preparato, la ragazza mora e la titolare in particolare ci hanno seguito e consigliato in modo eccellente. Meravigliosa scoperta nel cuore del centro di Mantova. Cucina raffinatissima; servizio impeccabile che ha saputo combinare attenzione, professionalità ma anche amichevole gentilezza, evitando freddezza o presunzione. Tutto é stato curato nel minimo dettaglio, siamo stati seguiti passo passo e serviti anche da più camerieri per volta (mai ci era capitato) e abbiamo mangiato piatti tipici cucinati in casa. Il tutto ad un prezzo di un’onestà disarmante: alla cifra con cui in un altro ristorante avremmo dovuto aspettare ore solo per trovare un posto a sedere, mangiando sicuramente cibo di qualità inferiore con un servizio molto meno attento, qui ci siamo sentiti davvero accolti e coccolati. Di una simpatia davvero squisita, in particolare, la proprietaria Lilli, che anche in una serata al completo come quella di domani ha saputo trovare un posticino solo per noi. Difatti torneremo, e con immenso piacere, così come consigliamo a chiunque si trovi qui in città di farci un salto: giammai rimarrà deluso!
Cena con amici (tot 3 persone). Il locale si trova affacciato sulla bellissima piazza retrostante la basilica. Offrono specialità mantovane e siciliane, hanno in particolare diversi piatti di pesce. Propongono il piatto del giorno fuori menù. Noi ci siamo buttati sulle specialità mantovane, che abbiamo trovato ottime. Menzione d'eccezione per i tortelli di zucca. Ottimo anche il riso alla pilota. Porzioni non indimenticabili, i peperoni caramellati erano molto pochi. Molto graditi lo snack iniziale, il costante refill di pane senza dover richiedere e l'attenzione per il nostro amico intollerante al glutine che ha ricevuto una piccola scatola con 3 prodotti da forno senza glutine. Dispiaciuti per la mancata disponibilità/modifica di alcuni piatti riportati nel menù. Abbiamo ordinato: baccalà mantecato su polenta, peperoni caramellati, riso alla pilota, tortelli di zucca, luccio con polenta, budino mantovano, 2 acque. Spesa: 96 € (32 € a testa). Al momento del pagamento abbiamo fatto correggere un errore dal conto, si sono dimostrati disponibili. Nonostante tutto, sono uscito dal locale non totalmente sazio. Consigliato
The atmosphere was incredibly romantic at night, set in a quiet piazza. We ordered Tortelli di zucca fatti in casa con burro e salvia, Spaghetti allo scoglio (catch of the day), and Luccio di lago in salsa mantovana con polenta grigliata. The Tortelli di zucca was sweet and comforting, with a portion so generous that I almost couldn’t finish it, even though it was absolutely delicious. Coming from Taiwan, a country surrounded by sea and well known for our fresh seafood, we could truly taste the freshness here and we absolutely loved it!

After decades of eating all around Italy, the last four days of eating in Mantua have revealed to me the essential distinctions of Mantuan food with the tastes of other Italian provinces. By chance, a few steps off the main thoroughfare street of Via Broletto along Via Leon D'oro, we discovered our first fish restaurant, not many within the city centre. After eaten in the first restaurant, it is with the aid of Google Map we located this second seafood restaurant Tiratappi, a short distance further along the same Via Leon D'oro. It turn out, this place serves relatively better honest food and much friendlier and warmer service. I congratulated myself for this discovery of this restaurant. I got to experience the uniqueness of known warm and friendly Italian hospitality in small homely restaurant, the warmth of family support service, friendly, casual yet adequately satisfying albeit not commercially overly refined but with equitable pricing. Cooking is indeed innovatively unique and concorted with fresh and ingenuous ingredients. A certain hidden gem.
We were searching for a good restaurant for lunch in Mantova, and we found the perfect place. It is the best restaurant we have ever visited. The atmosphere is delightful, featuring a personal blend of Sicilian and Mantovan styles. Chef Orazio and the staff treat us as if we are truly special. The service is excellent. I highly recommend it for dates and special occasions.

The staff provides excellent guidance, explaining in detail how to customize your menu by selecting courses that complement each other, including recommendations for suitable wine pairings. The high standard set at the beginning persists throughout the entire experience, with both the food and wine proving to be outstanding.

Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Mantova. During our month stay in Mantova, my wife and I have eaten here a few times and are always delighted. The food is delicious, the service is top notch and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. We were usually greeted by the owner, Lily, and made to feel welcome and appreciated. We enjoyed many of the entrees but I particularly liked the bigoli fatti in casa con le sarde mediterranee and my wife raved about the tortelli di zucca fatti in casa al burro e salvia. I highly recommend dining at Ristorante Tiratappi when you are in Mantova. It is also a good idea to make reservations.

Very nice place, especially during summer where you can eat outside in a beautiful square just behind Sant’ Andrea’s church. Dishes are mostly prepared using ingredients from the Mantova area, so good choice if you want to eat traditional. At the same time though, they have revised some recipes with a modern touch. I definitely recommend it.
Very nice Italian restaurant with great dishes. The service was outstanding. The dishes were excellent and well presented, even if ordered at closing time. We arrived 10 minutes before closing and we were still served and not rushed out as last clients. There is a cover fee for each person of €3 which was a surprise to us, but well deserved. I recommend this place when in Mantova. If you use the bathrooms here, it might not be obvious how to turn the water on for the sink; there is a paddle that you need to push with your foot :)

The staff was so friendly and nice!! The food was amazing, I can't even describe how I enjoyed every bite!! I wish I knew how to describe food better. This place is a MUST GO!!! I had butternut squash ravioli and the fish dish that I tried was so delicious my mouth is watering just remembering it! Ottimo ristorante in centro storico a Mantova, stile raffinato ma cmq accogliente e informale. Servizio e accoglienza ottimi da parte di tutto lo staff, anche i nostri bambini sono stati accolti molto allegramente, con cordialità e gentilezza super. Piatti ben curati, molto buoni con materie prime di prima qualità! Unico appunto le porzioni dei primi potrebbero essere un po' più abbondanti (nello specifico qualche tortello di zucca in più nel piatto sarebbe stato molto gradito vista la bontà e la qualità dei prodotti :-) cmq ristorante consigliato e ci ritornerò volentieri
Una scelta molto gradevole per cenare in un locale al centro di Mantova, giusto connubio di modernità e tradizione, eleganza e sapori semplici. Il locale presenta un mix stilistico, in quanto unisce il rustico delle travi in legno a vista a lampadari vistosi di cristallo, mobili in legno e quadri d'arte contemporanea... La cucina molto saporita: abbiamo preso i tortelli di zucca, Agnoli in brodo, filetto di maiale su salsa di cacao amaro e grabella di pistacchio e patate aglio e rosmarino. Tutto buono, ma non dò il massimo perché la cottura del maiale non era uniforme...Alcuni pezzi troppo cotti, altri poco... però un piatto molto originale e gustoso... Servizio estremamente cordiale e veloce. Come rapporto qualità-prezzo buono, ma si colloca in una fascia di ristorante medio-alta, cioè non proprio economica... Ad ogni modo lo consiglio sicuramente .
Il locale si trova in una delle piazzette più belle di Mantova, abbiamo cenato all'esterno dove la visuale è veramente bella I piatti cucinati bene ma porzioni veramente troppo gourmet (scarse) , soprattutto per il prezzo proposto (con porzioni più abbondanti avrei dato 5 stelle) Servizio gin apprezzato

The reataurant has a nice terrace on the big square in front of the Duomo. The food was local based recipes and of good quality, price was reasonable. If you want to tip the staff you will have to bring cash. I did not see the inside of the restaurant.

Il costo di coperto era molto alto e mi sembra che lo hanno fatto perché siamo turisti. We were three and they charge us 24€ for coperto/service and I think that excessive. They gave us some entrance and very nice. The food was good, but a bit salty. The atmosphere was really beautiful at night next to the Duomo and the full moon.
TOURIST SCAM! Yesterday I went and everything was fine until the bill came and they charged us 3€ p/p + 24€ for the service first restaurant in Europe that I go and they do that. The restaurant was fine but not charging 33€ for service, they are trying to take money from anywhere
