Uno dei migliori ristoranti in cui io sia mai stata, peccato che il massimo sia solo 5 stelle. Abbiamo prenotato per la sera di Pasqua, per puro caso, ma direi più che fortunato. Abbiamo ordinato soprattutto dei fuori menù di Pasqua, tra cui risotto agli asparagi, meraviglioso, il gusto degli asparagi è stato valorizzato al massimo, ma lasciandone la delicatezza tipica della materia prima e costolette di agnello alla griglia, che si scioglievano in bocca. Da menu abbiamo ordinato della pasta (non ricordo il nome scusate) con ragù bianco di coniglio, penso sia la miglior pasta che io abbia mai provato e del fegato alla veneziana, che sembrava burro, da quanto era ben cotto e morbido. Infine come dolce abbiamo optato per la sbrisolona, buona anche lei. Il personale super cortese e professionale, ma anche amichevole e sorridente, rendendo l’atmosfera non troppo formale, ma anzi molto piacevole. Locale molto bello, ben arredato e con gusto, bagno molto pulito. I prezzi sono più che coerenti con la quantità e soprattutto la qualità dei prodotti. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti e se torneremo a Mantova, sappiamo dove tornare.

Mi è piaciuto molto questa osteria in centro Mantova. Servizio cordiale, cibo buono, poca scelta però buono. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Il locale si presenta molto accogliente e familiare, con stanze su più piani con pochi tavoli rendendo l’atmosfera molto intima e piacevole. Il tortino alla zucca, preso come antipasto, è fenomenale. Abbiamo anche assaggiato il risotto alla mantovana che era una delicatezza, la porzione era molto abbondante (noi eravamo in tre e tornando indietro avremmo preso solo 2 porzioni di riso). I dolci non li abbiamo potuti assaggiare perché eravamo pienissimi ma allo sguardo sembravano davvero invitanti. Molto consigliato.

Esperienza completamente positiva. Siamo andate in due senza prenotazione e il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e ci ha cercato un tavolo subito. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e velocemente senza però avere messa fretta. Il tortino alla cannella con zabaione (fuori menù) mi ha quasi commossa.

Accoglienti e ospitali, offrono un’ottima cucina tipica mantovana, con tutti i piatti della tradizione locale e sapori genuini. Servizio preciso e puntuale. Ambiente elegante, in un palazzo del ‘400 nell’ centro storico di Mantova.

This place is amazing, the quality of the food and the service level is all the best possible, but the price is not so different than most of the other restaurants. We ordered Tagliata meat and it was so good, melting in the mouth, not like some other restaurants where its hard chowie meat, and the pasta was perfect etc.

Great place for anyone who wants to try typical cuisine of Mantova region. Located close to the town centre, restaurant has an AC system which really helps during the summer months. Tortelli di zucca is a must try, delicious recipe and very generous portion. Highly recommended.

Zucca day!! Had the tortellini, the tortellini and the zucca pudding! It was so good that was no time for pictures, just the desert! Nice decoration and good service complement the experience . Fully recommend!

La Bottega is a charming restaurant a little outside the centre of Mantova. Just a little. It is at 5 minutes walking of Sant’Andrea, but in a calmer part of the city. You can sit either in- or outside. Inside you find yourself in a wonderfully nice and traditionally looking space, while outside you sit in a charming Italian alley, with cosy lighting. The service is very good, they are very friendly, and the food is wonderful. Whether you take pizza, pasta, meat or an ovendish, the food is always great!

So we we're actually looking for something more typical for the zone and less touristic. And luckily we found few people who recommended the same place. Well the locls not considering this place in the city center because its about 7 minutes walking from there but completely worth it. So the restuarant itself is very nice and very warm, and they have 3 levels so plenty of room. The service was really great, we had a waiter who explained about every dish. Important to point out that everything we tried was so good, in particular my favorite was "spalla cotta al lambrusco ". Check the photos. The range of prices for the most part is very fair, and the portions are definitely decent. Later on just before we finished we had a little talk with the owner of the place, and he explained that for almost all things they serve its home made. What would help explain the excellent taste! Place very nice, with AC, great wine and great service. Would definitely recommend!

Typical Mantuan restaurant, nice atmosphere, well-prepared and very friendly staff. Excellent food. We tried tortelli di zucca, the traditional bread gnocchi, and an appetizer with polenta and cured meats. Everything was excellent. All accompanied by a great Lambrusco. Shared 2 great pasta dishes here. The made a simple pasta pomodoro off the menu for our 5 year old as well. The staff helped us through the menu and were very patient and kind. The ancient interior architecture is nice too.

First of all, do not go without book, at least one day before you should call. In the city, there is no restaurant that you cannot eat without book, especially if it is weekend. They have some traditional meals, but not everything for example "luccio in salsa" that we want to try. And, you can find another traditional meal which is "tortelloni di zucca" and "capunsei" which are quite good. Some of staffs are not so polite, but some of them are really cute. Atmosfere of the place is normal. Price are expensive for a place named "osteria", coperto was 3 euro. So, thank you for all.

Potrei fare un copia e incolla di una recensione di 7 mesi fa ma mi permetto di farla di persona. Ieri sera sabato 22 novembre ci siamo stati per mangiare la pizza. Bel locale caldo e accogliente con tanta attenzione, fin troppa, ai clienti. Nessuna sorpresa fino al conto…non discutiamo su nulla se non per i 14 euro di 1/2 litro sfuso di vino che il gestore ci dice essere segnalato correttamente sul listino prezzi. Lo stesso ci sottolinea che si sarebbe trattato di vino da mezza bottiglia. Siamo adulti, di Mantova città e spesso andiamo a mangiare in vari locali. Non prendiamoci in giro! Partiamo dal presupposto che una bottiglia è di 75 cl e quindi il mezzo litro non poteva certo essere la metà di questa. Inoltre, lo posso assicurare con certezza conoscendo i vini, si trattava di un mediocre se non pessimo vino frizzante sfuso. Cari gestori per pochi euro avete fatto una brutta figura e sicuramente perso dei clienti.
