Good food and WONDERFUL service. Autumn was on her game. Refilled drinks and always smiling. Fried brussel sprouts are so good. Cajin crawfish were good but not spicy. Stuffed crab was delicious.
My son said, "this is one of those don't judge a book by its cover things." We never tought about coming here, not until my son won a gift certificate last xmas. I highly recommend the mushroom swiss, best I've had in a long time. Their staff were great as well, took good care of us. If you're passing by Marble Falls and need a quick fix, this is a good place to go.
Wow this place was phenomenal! We stopped by cause we were wanting some seafood and this is the place to go! Tailor was our server and we loved her vibe, she was super down to earth and quick. The owner came out and checked on us and served us our dessert as well. The atmosphere was nice, calming, there’s live music but you have the option to sit near it or not. It was very relaxing! And the food… whew. The steak and lobster is AMAZING. The lobster was buttery, seasoned, and tender. The steak, more for my husband, was great! I don’t love gumbo but the gumbo here is seasoned so well and has a great base. We came for our honeymoon so they treated us to a free brownie which was hot and the ice cream cold! We will be talking to everyone about this place and swinging by again even though we live an hour and a half away!
Great atmosphere! Food is tasty fresh and a huge assortment of us "non ocean dwelling" sea life. Chicken fried steak rocked, potatoes were fresh, and my Mexican martini was perfect! Have visited several times and have not been disappointed once. Thank you.
We stopped by for lunch and had a great dining experience. The staff were friendly and took good care of us We ordered Stuffed Mushrooms for an appetizer. We expected them to be typical stuffed mushrooms, but they were deep-fried. They went well with the shopping sauce. The Shrimp Po Boy and Mushroom Swiss Burger were excellent. The Sweet Potato fries tasted great. I think they were double-fried. Overall, we left full and happy. Great place.
We were on an impromptu weekend in Marble Falls, so we decided to try Doc's for dinner upon arrival. The service was great, as was the live music. The food was tasty, too, though I will say I was a bit surprised when I received my bacon-wrapped scallops. It was on a side dish plate, which seemed very small for a $25 plate. That said, I was plenty full from my dinner, and the scallops were delicious. Guess we just need to get used to higher prices everywhere --- gas. groceries, and dining out. But I did want to mention it so future diners can take that into consideration before ordering the scallops. Definitely give Doc's a try if you're in the area.
Great Location off of US 281 and Ranch Road 1431. Ample parking and easy to spot with large signage out front. The staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food is very good. They have a bar that's separated by a hallway from the main restaurant. The Chef/Owner is seen roaming throughout the dining room. They have live music on the weekends and specials throughout the week, so be sure to checkout their website. Enjoy and Bon Appetit! 😋😋😋
Happened upon this restaurant bc our first choice was closed and definitely glad we did. Excellent food and a wonderfully quiet atmosphere. Megan provided professional, friendly service. Plenty of parking, easy location to drive into and drive away when time to leave. Lots of funny signs and memorabilia. Large portions and compliments to the chef(s).
This restaurant was like a beacon. We noticed it right away upon arrival to Marble Falls and mentioned that we should try it and something about it just looked good. We are very happy we did. We enjoyed their lunch specials and a kids meal. We had an oyster po boy, the stuffed crab, the catfish basket and a bucket of worms (chicken tenders kids meal). We also tried the blooming onion. Absolutely adored the hush puppies! Everything was served hot, tasted fresh, and our servers were amazing. Taylor was our waitress and she was kind, quick and attentive without hovering. Everyone was super friendly and the place was clean. I highly recommend trying it and we have talked about eating there again if we daytrip to Marble Falls again!
We were a group of 35 women traveling through Marble Falls and called Doc's for reservations. Brad was so accomodating and put together a special menu for us with a special price for our group. Wow…

Went here fir our 46th anniversary. Ordered ribeye steaks. Service and food was Great. A little pricey, but very pleased.
In a small but thriving city, Doc's has a decently large dining area. The people are friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding, and the prices are good.
Good food, prices and service. Good Live music the night we went. Nice low key atmosphere.

One of the best chicken fried steak I have ever had. Great green beans and mashed potatoes. Great service and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food, reasonable prices, great wait staff, and we enjoyed the live music. I recommend the broiled shrimp kebab and the Diablo bacon wrapped jalopeno and cheese stuffed shrimp.

We drive 156 miles to eat at Docs. Great food great drinks great service. Ask forTracy. Couples for Valentine’s Day! We drive about 3 times a year.
This was my first time eating here and I just found out they are closing! Well, at least I got to try their catfish and shrimp plate. It did not disappoint! Too bad they're closing up...
Staff was friendly but seemed a little short perhaps. Service was a little bit slow, but that was our preference anyway. The musician (singing guitar player) was good entertainment and played well! Marble Falls is not the place for oysters (well, duh... but we wanted to try
Staying in Marble Falls for the weekend and stopped here for dinner. The Salmon Salad is great! Flavorful and comes with 2 dressings. The large shrimp with coleslaw and garlic potatoes good too, but shrimp was not as large as expected. But, all good. Banana pudding homemade good flavor. Peach and blueberry cobbler ala'mode good, but wanted the crust, not just crumbles. The Korean Elvis was entertaining!
One thing that stood out is the friendliness of the servers. This was my first time visiting Doc's and it was a pretty good experience. The furniture seems very outdated though, may be time for a remodel. All of the food and drink items were made to perfection. The grilled mahi mahi was one of the fresh catches of the day and it was superb. The price is up there ($24) but I think it was worth it. I came on a Tuesday evening and it was super quiet. I'm curious to see what the live music is like, so I will have to check it out one weekend.
We dined here for dinner. My family ordered prime rib, but the meat was inconsistent; 3 out of 5 pieces were fatty. We also shared catfish, coconut shrimp, buffalo shrimp, and alfredo pasta…

Walked in and it smelled like an ol dive bar, dirty mops, and stale beer. Food was mostly breading. Can't believe we didn't walk out from the start.
The food was okay, fried platter was fried as expected, the service was on point! However my gumbo I ordered was just sauce, I barely got anything than rice and sauce. My friend's gumbo was loaded with food like shrimp and sausage (posted mine before eating and hers while she was eating her gumbo)? I wouldn't know cause I didn't get any. I notified my waitress and she brought another cup of gumbo to add to my bowl....OF MORE SAUCE! 😓 Really disappointing seeing I have wanted to dine here from visiting this area from time to time.
We've eaten here 3 times in the last few months because it used to be my favorite date night restaurant in Marblefalls. I'm sadly disappointed. They've been out of broccoli these last few times, so I asked the waitress why on our last visit. She said that it's too expensive, so they just aren't purchasing it. We always get the special, but it comes a bit over seasoned and over cooked. Our Onion blossom was drenched in greese tonight. For $90 I expected a lot better. The restaurant was empty and we waited 5 minutes before anyone noticed we were there. Idk, I gave this place 3 chances to impress me, trying to rekindle memories from long ago, but it was a waste of grace really. They've definitely lost a family of customers for life at this point. Will not be stopping by again.
whoa... not what we had expected... at all. Took son there for his birthdate because he wanted seafood. Started with appetizers; the shrimp diablo which was NOT grilled to perfection. Was overcooked. totally. The oysters on the half shell were good. The entree my son ordered sounded like his large tilapia fillet would be stuffed. It was served overcooked and even inedible along the edge... on top of what they were calling their specialty crab and crawfish stuffing, but what appeared to be some sort of overcooked pancake of their crab and crawfish. Ordering one of their specialties, he was very disappointed in his celebratory meal. My salad however was delicious! I had heard this was a good place for seafood. Will search for a more professional kitchen in future. The waitperson was super.
Food and service was okay. The chicken fried steak batter was very crispy and didnt stick to the patty much. Patty tasted overly marinated and salty. The fried onion appetizer was delicious with the chipotle mayo. Fried cheese puppies and fried seafood platter was okay, nothing special. The loaded baked potato was my favorite.
Upon entering, no one greeted me. Someone was on the phone and a girl was behind the bar and neither of them looked up or acknowledged me. That’s fine, I’m sure they were preoccupied. Then someone came out of the kitchen and walked right past me, still waiting at the entry podium, and no word from her either. Okay, it’s going downhill. Finally, another girl came out and asked if anyone had helped me and said she was sorry. She was very sweet! I wish I had gotten her name cause she was the best employee there. I was seated and got a man as a waiter. He was very blunt with no smile to his face. Apparently everyone here was having a bad day? I get it, we all have them. I ordered the fried fish and shrimp and was so excited to try it. The excitement left immediately when I took a bite. The fish was thick, very oily, and the batter wouldn’t even stick to it. I’ll go out on a limb and say the oil wasn’t kept hot and too much meat was put in the fryer. I ate what I could and had to toss the rest. So all in all, subpar. Better luck next time I guess.
Stopped for dinner on the road. Neat concept just poorly executed. I ordered the grilled red snapper with mustard greens and sweet potato fries. My husband ordered the catfish with camp beans and fried okra. Nothing was seasoned well. The server was very pleasant and mannerly but had too big of an area to keep up with the dinner rush. Don't know how it was voted best by the locals.

Oh how I wanted to enjoy this food. Unfortunately there was not much to enjoy. The hushpuppies were honestly the only good thing here. I ordered a catfish platter, the catfish was so beyond bland, my GF ordered the Salad and the lettuce was soggy and old on top of paying for a half bowl of soggy lettuce the dressing was really strange tasting. We also tried a chicken Ceasar salad, chicken dry and bland also on top of a half of bowl of salad and dressing was on the side only powdered type parm cheese on it. And a kids Mac and cheese. The bathroom also smelled like an old diaper and B.O. Will definitely drive on by if ever near Here again. This place used to be so good...but now it's Definitely taken a turn for the worse.
Well they closed the day before we arrived. Closed permanently. Sad...they really had good food there.

Sunday evening - Customer complaining when we walked in. Finally got seated. waited over 5 minutes for service. Listened to another customer complaining to Manager. Walked out.
This restaurant is filthy. There is a thick layer of dust and greasy grime everywhere. Window sills, floors, doorways, and the rest of the interior turned my stomach and eliminated any appetite I had…
The place is horrible it's got moldy floors moldy places in the back Old food dry oysters being improperly stored and food that is irreparably improperly done. The last time I ate here I was sick for 2 days not to mention when asked the employee that I spoke with said that they threw their grease into the dumpster I even saw them throw grease into the dumpster they do not care about their employees and the manager mistreats his people not to mention his wife is the one that runs the store and even she doesn't know what to properly do do not eat here. This place is an absolute disgrace when it comes to seafood this place is disgusting and filled with mold and improperly stored food and disposed of items
