Nonstop Sushi

This was hands down the most surprising sushi experience we’ve ever had! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating (jake is the goat), and the patio is dog friendly. The ingredients were 10/10, from the wasabi to the fresh fish caught 24 hours prior. The wasabi isn’t the cheap paste you normally get and the house sake is unmatched. I got the nonstop sushi special. The salmon melted in your mouth, and the yellowtail belly was the best I’ve ever had! Had to order an extra one after the meal. And the mochi was a perfect finish. This is our new go-to sushi spot, I highly recommend it!

wondering what to do for date night? nonstop sushi is the spot. we came for early dinner at the marina del ray location where we enjoyed the patio and perfect sunny weather with our dog. we ate and left no crumbs. the food: we ordered a signature yummy yellowtail roll, a classic spicy salmon roll, and indulged in the nonstop sushi special. the nonstop special comes with 8 pieces, and we picked halibut (FRESH fish, just got in yesterday) spanish mackerel, yellowtail belly, and salmon belly. i gasped when i put the the yummy yellowtail roll in my mouth. the yellowtail was so fresh and it was a perfect blend of cilantro and ponzu. it was perfect - i didn’t even need to add any other condiments to it. the spicy salmon roll was a classic, time-tested recipe. the nonstop special was so delectable - the fish was as smooth as butter. the service: shout out jake! i think he’s the owner? he took care of us for the evening. he made sure we were fed and full, including our dog. thank you!

Food and Staffs are incredible and interior vibe was so perfect for our Sake night! I strongly recommend if you're looking for new place to chill out with friend and family. Especially you should try Wagyu which is best in LA!

I was expecting a hole.in the wall since the area looked busy and the surrounding buildings looked run down. I was wrong. This place has a nice building and very nicely decorated inside. Clean. Staff was attentive and friendly. The sushi was very good and fairly priced. I would definitely recommend and will be personally coming back for more.

This place was excellent! The fish was super fresh, and everything we ordered was great. The Salmon Lovers with truffle oil was a standout, and both the fried Golden Tiger and Philadelphia rolls were perfectly crispy, flavorful and abundant! The yellowtail was also top quality. Service was attentive and quick. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

This sushi place is magical! Such a great big space and staff was very friendly and attentive. We had the jelly sake and that was so delicious we had to order another round. Now the most important thing was the food. It did not disappoint. It was so fresh and made to order. Had so much flavor and that popcorn lobster roll, fire! It’s nice to come with a semi big group so you can try a little of everything. Everything we ordered from the gyoza to the edamame to the specialty rolls…. Delicious!

Great spot tucked into a tiny strip center area. Plenty of seating, including sushi bar seating. My orders of maguro nigiri and yellowtail nigiri were very fresh. The spicier tuna roll was delicious as well. Complimented by attentive service and a laid back atmosphere, this made for a perfect spot. 👏

Update: 3/15/25- ordered from here again and it’s even better, this place is just spectacular. I can’t give it enough stars, god is in the details and boy do they know details. I love it !!! So good! Super fresh fish, sparkly clean restaurant, and smart combination of flavors. I had take outs and the way it was packed with so much care and attention to details is just extraordinary and deserves a round of applause. You can tell these people care about the person who eats their food👏 10/10 highly recommended!

So good! The Wagyu sliders and the shrimp tempura roll are a must try !! I don’t get to come here often because of my schedule, but when I do, it’s always amazing! Service is always spotty, depending on who is on shift but the food is always great. I can never not get the garlic edamame. It’s a must have as a snack for the table. If you’re ever unsure what to get always ask the staff.

The Spicy Tuna Roll and the Yellowtail Carpaccio were absolute standouts. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced and delicious. One of the unique features of this restaurant is their sake selection. The staff were knowledgeable and helped us choose a sake that perfectly complemented our meal. It added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. The ambiance is trendy yet intimate, making it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The outdoor seating area is a nice touch, offering a pleasant view and a relaxed vibe. Overall, Nonstop Sushi & Sake Bar exceeded my expectations. Great spot for a nice date, a dinner with friends/family, or a quick snack! This is hands down the tastiest, most enjoyable sushi on all of the Westside. You can taste the quality of the fish as well as the love they put into their food. Definitely give the Cajun Salmon a try, you will not be disappointed!! They’ve also started serving wagyu and it was one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. In addition to the great food, the staff is 11/10. I’ve never felt more welcome at a restaurant in my life as they make you feel like you’re right at home. They even give you little towels to wipe your hands with before you eat! Looking forward to coming back regularly!

Been waiting for this place to open for a while and it did not disappoint. The garlic edamame is very flavorful, the spicy salmon roll was great, and the chicken udon was amazing. Over all the ambience is very chill and intimate. The staff was so nice and hospitable. Highly recommend and will absolutely be back!

Sunday at 2:30 in the afternoon. I apologize in advance for not having more photos. We were really hungry. We had nigiri sushi. Everything was fresh and delicious. The mackerel and yellowtail belly were stand outs. Both chefs treated us to off the menu items. A seared and spiced salmon creation that is pictured below. Thanks chef Steve! Wagu sushi also pictured. Devine...great food, great people, great time. 10/10 would go again!

Pricey but lovely. The ambiance and quality are very pleasant. Portions are a little bit on the small side and prices seemed mid to above average.

Delicious sushi! I got the 6 piece sushi + sushi roll + 1 hand roll set which is a pretty filling portion. Definitely a bit pricey though.
