Ordered Super Giant Carne Asada Quesadilla, Flan, and a Corona. Most delicious carne asada quesadilla I’ve had in a very long time. As a chef and traveler, I’ve tried a lot of quesadillas and this one stood out because of the flavors and how they blended harmoniously without any one flavor becoming too dominant. It resulted in a quesadilla that was very flavorful and each bite highlighted a new note in the dish. The salsa wasn’t overpowering like many taquerias, instead I could taste the ingredients in the salsa and it balanced well with the guacamole and steak. I would definitely return again and try other foods on the menu. The staff were all helpful and the place was very clean. The atmosphere was welcoming and had a vibe of modern because of the large open windows yet still an authentic traditional upscale taqueria. Would recommend to my family, friends, and Mexican food lovers
The mechilada was amazing, I ordered tacos de asada and it came pretty loaded with double tortilla so you can make more out of the three it comes with. The establishment is new and the ambient is pretty inviting. This is my go to mexican resturant during my lunch period before attending lecture. Spent 15$ for my meal.
This Mexican restaurant was clean, spacious, and had excellent customer service! We ordered the potato tacos, a burrito, and the giant mega quesadilla! Everything was absolutely delicious. We also tried the pineapple agua fresca, which was super refreshing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
This is a nice place to eat. The place is supper clean, the ladies there keeps on cleaning and takes away any plates that are not being used. The food is served very quick, that means that the chefs are on top of the game. We requested to drain a cup and they were very kind to offer us a new one. The food is fresh and comes hot.
Nice place to dine in!! There is a huge bar in case!! Friendly staff. Great environment to enjoy Mexican food. Free salsa and chips.
Great food, great music, great price! This is a hidden gem in the Monterey Bay! Perfect for a date spot!
Really big breakfast portions for their huevos rancheros and also super nachos. For their nachos, I usually order them with al pastor and it usually sends me into a food coma afterwards, the best kind tho! If you dine in take advantage of their self serve chips and salsa bar. They’re really friendly and give v good customer service. Great local spot for top-notch Mexican food.
Really, really enjoyed my Al pastor nachos. My family enjoyed their lunch as well. The tortilla chips at the self-serve bar were fresh and thick.
I was introduced to this little gem and came back two nights in a row. A step up from your conventional taqueria, Las Cazuelas encapsulates quick and friendly service coupled with amazing food. The ingredients shine through in the dishes and even a basic cheese quesadilla tastes amazing. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by. The prices are awesome for the quality of food you get and the staff takes care of you.
SO good! We ordered the taco bowl & super nachos, both with beef, to go. First impression was awesome: both the owner and young man at the were very friendly and welcoming, plus the restaurant is very clean and well-organized. While completing payment, they offered me a horchata, which I declined (it's not my favorite drink, but I greatly appreciate the offer.) The condiment bar was also very clean, I picked out the three salsa pictured - all really tasty and not too spicy. I have to say, for a nacho plate and taco bowl, the food was not greasy at all! Everything was extremely flavorful and fresh. I would definitely recommend giving Las Cazuelas a try!
A simple taqueria. I ordered 3 x al Pastor tacos. They really packed in the meat. The tacos were great. I'd definitely go here again.
Everyone was really friendly and food was great. They have a small salsa bar with chips. There's not a ton of parking but it was pretty big inside with two dining rooms

This hands down my family’s favorite Mexican food on the area. Great service, food comes out fast, hot and delicious. The al pastor is amazing. We go here about once a week because it’s my kids’ favorite place to eat out.
Amazing food! We were not expecting it to be that great. Love the condiments and chops bar. Michelada was great.
Nice taqueria. Very clean and inviting. My wife and I stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat on our way out of Monterey. I had a lengua burrito and the wife had a asada burrito and both were on point! Lengua was perfectly cooked. They had a nice aqua fresca selection and a great chips and salsa bar as well. Food came out quick too. Would recommend and will be back again. Thanks Las Cazuelas.
We had an order to go. Food was delicious. Great service by the staff. The only thing that took me off guard was the google map said they close at 10:00 and when I called to make an order they said they close at 9:30. Not a problem but I was rushing to get there to get a late dinner for my family after a very long day.

Friendly service and reasonable prices for a good amount of food! I like the salsa bar I like being able to get my own salsa. The food was very decent its a good choice for mexican food.

I ordered the quesabirria tacos plate to go. They could have been better, one side of the tortilla was falling apart and They forgot to include the consomé which is the best part! Some limes woulda been nice too. The beans and rice were really good! I got some complimentary stale chips with red and green salsa. They included some cilantro/ onion on the side which was great. The horchata was delicious! When i picked up the order the dining area looked really clean. There is also a decent bar area. Overall the food was good but the Tacos could have been better if they had less fat and if the taco Had crispier tortilla/ more crispy cheese.
Update Jun 2025: Customer service has taken a nosedive. As a regular customer, I am surprised they have taken me for granted. No more greetings, no more thank you. What’s going on? In addition, prices across all menu have been steadily increasing while reducing the portion (new cook maybe?). They are charging $5.50 for a regular lengua or tripa taco (plus tax!) that is insane. Probably the only true taqueria in all of Marina. While some Mexican restaurants in town also offer decent tacos, this taqueria offers some unique speciality meats that cannot be found in elsewhere such as tripas, lengua, and cabeza. They have improved flavors and portions over the years (albeit with price increases). I am giving them 4/5 start since their tacos are on the higher price range in my list of fav local taco places. Something I like is that they offer complementary access to their chip and salsa bar with most purchases. You can also buy aguas frescas of jamaica, piña, and horchata, as well as typical Mexican sodas. The place has recently expanded and remodeled and the bar area is quite cozy. I have been a regular for many years so I can truly recommend this place to satiate your Mexican food cravings. Try their flan btw.

The best thing I had was the carnitas! The asada was bland and unseasoned but the carnitas were amazing and puts this place on the map! Whatever you order (like the super taco) get it with the carnitas 😋 loved the salsa bar but the chips were not the best. I also appreciate that this place was open at 8pm when the rest of the town was closed, what kind of collage town is this??
The red enchilada sauce tasted like Italian spaghetti sauce. That was probably the most disappointing. Found a hair in it too. Lengua was flavorless. Al Pastor was not Al Pastor. Chips were trash. Not sure how this place can say these recipes are truly authentic and have been passed down generations. Will not come back.
