I’m not sure why this Chipotle has bad reviews. I’ve been coming here for almost two years and never had issues. Workers are always friendly and the food is always fresh and great. Also most chipotles have stale chips but this one always has fresh ones and the queso is so fresh and amazing as well.

Biggest burrito I have gotten from any chipotle. I went during a less busier time so that might have allowed me to get a larger portion. But as always I was satisfied with what I got.

At Chipotle at Sand City the food is excellent food. The staff is quick and attentive, the line is always moving fast and most of the times there is no line. There is plenty of parking all the time. My favorite food here is the Barbacoa Burrito. Chipotle's location is great too. Is just off oh highway one. The beach is only minutes away.

Fredi deserves a raise! he was beyond nice and was super quick in the best way possible. i wish i had cash to give him a tip! recommend adding card tips so these employees can get what that deserve especially since he was all by his lonesome!

At the time I went they were out of steak and other meats.. also had to wait several minutes for rice to finish cooking. Team was polite however offered no accommodation. Half the restaurant was set up for closing.

For lunch, we had Chipotle, just to reminisce the first “Tex-Mex” or Americanised-Mexican food that M had brought Tom to years ago. This time, we ordered the bowl with Carnitas ($11.5) with Guacamole ($2.95) which came up to $16 inclusive of taxes. It was really tasty with the fresh ingredients. So how it goes is that you’ll choose between white or brown rice (Tom chose brown) and then the beans (Tom chose both), then the meat (Tom chose Carnitas – slow cooked seasoned shredded pork) and the vegetables (Tom chose everything including the Guac for additional $2.95). The combination made the bowl really tasty with fresh flavours from the ingredients of onions, tomatoes, lettuce, guacamole and slow cooked flavours from the meat and the beans. Shiok. Besides the the majority of the chips being broken into very small pieces, and the dry guac, my chicken and rice burrito was very tasty. Also not many places to charge devices.

Whenever I go into Chihpotle, why do I always have to ask them to add more than 1 small scoop of everything in my bowl I love to order. It's very frustrating going into a restaurant and they tell you they don't have change. It's their responsibility to go to the bank and get change for customers this is dumb like I had to ask another customer if he had change for a $20 just to give that exact amount and then their ice machine was broke like I understand businesses have their days but, geez get prepared for the day before the days starts as far as money goes. I think that's a big responsibility on

Unfortunately they said they were short staffed and couldn't make any more guacamole. I'd have happily waited a bit, but I guess they have to get people through the line quickly. Food was fine tho. A small bottle of water for $3, however, was not fine. My fault I guess for not asking about the price first.

The food is always good, but service was incredibly slow even though the people were nice, and despite how slow it was when I showed up everything seems dirty and they were out of the tabasco's

Just okay. Chipotle flavor profile is the same everywhere. No iced teas here. Bummer. Place was okay clean. Wait staff was okay too. Not a olive wait.

Decent spot to hop off for food. Food was good. Parking is decent. Tesla charger close by. The service was okay, but there seemed to be some miscommunication during ordering. Prices are a little steep, but on par with health food costs in the area I think. Dining area could be a bit cleaner, but it is a higher traffic spot.

Came in with 2 small kids, asked for a tray for all of the food items and was told them DON'T have trays anymore. Had to carry all of it the table with the kids. Then I saw a tray on another table and later noticed a stack under the cashier station. Not sure if it was because I was the only white person in the place or what. It's a good thing the food is good.

I never write google reviews but I can’t hold my tongue with this one anymore. I love chipotle but this location in Sand City/Seaside specifically sucks. Every single time I have gone to this one they mess up my order, most of the time I notice it and will correct them or try to. I’ve spoken with friends who also mentioned they never get their correct order at this location. I choose to drive to other locations that don’t mess up my order.

So, after taking a significant amount of time away from eating at Chipotle; I'm absolutely offended by the costs of their chicken burritos. The cost of a regular chicken burrito is $11.10. + taxes. Secondly, the servings of chicken are miniscule. For $12 you'd think the chicken portion would be generous, but the server provided the smallest one I'd ever seen! My reaction was," how much more for another scoop?" She responded, " I'm not sure? Around $3 something." No, after taxes the cost of a small second scoop was nearly $5!!!! The total was $16.67!!! Yes, in the year 2024 I paid $16.67 for a chicken burrito. Does anybody know of Rancho Market in Marina? In the year 2004, I used to pay $2.75 for a loaded b- fast burrito. I'm well aware this was 20 years ago, but $16.67? Never ever again will I pay $12+ dollars for a skimpy burrito that doesn't fill you up!! What an absolute rip off. People who pay this much to eat a Chipotle burrito, please stop paying these ridiculous prices for food. Your only driving up the cost to eat out, and avoiding the grocery store. Everybody is getting away with price goughing. Don't throw your money away please.

I arrived at 8:15pm and felt like i should have left by the looks i received when i walked inside. I ordered a chicken bowl and sat down to eat. My food was completely cold. The staff were cleaning due to it was almost closing time. Lesson learned, don't go after 8!!!

It’s not so much that it’s bad service, it’s more like idiotic service. I ordered using the app thinking it’s easy in- easy out. I watch the bag with my food being brought and set down on a countertop nowhere near the pickup rack. Instead of cutting ahead of 10 other people I wait in line, only to be told by staff that I have to wait to go to the register because she doesn’t deal with pickup orders. Instead of saving any time, I was at the restaurant 15 minutes longer.

I was very disappointed,that for the 1st time ever the peppers and onions 🧅 🫑 were raw. I love to douse my bowl with tons of veggies,but they were not grilled and sauteed as they should have been.😔I don't like raw veggies 😵‍💫

I have been here twice TODAY! at 12:00pm and 2:49pm and NO HONEY CHICKEN made. They keep saying. Sorry about that! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!

This chipotle has gone downhill fast!! Their current store lady manager has a really bad attitude about things and should honestly be moved or fired also quality has gone down. significantly at this location also one time I came mid day like around 1pm to be met with a sign that said that they were all out of ingredients a really bad way to run a business if you run out of ingredient during the middle of the day! This place needs either new management or better employees!!!

Horrible service! Not sure if the guy was too distracted, language barrier or hard of hearing - every time I asked a question he would just say “yeah” accompanied by creepy head nodding. Poor eye contact and speech was a blur and very limited, like paranoid about something.. I came here for my daughter after school and there was no one in line so they run a Skelton crew - that didn’t care about their job.. One of the questions I had asked was about the catering (flyer did not have prices) and hs pretty much just brushed me off - it’s not important I guess. We wont be back - too bad I used to like this location when everyone was friendly and warm.

First the service was horrible, the staff mumbled every time they spoke, were either hard of hearing or just not listening. They were rude and laughing. They gave tiny portions of food not even half of our bowl was filled. They put things in our bowls we did not ask for and didn’t give us things we specifically asked for. Do not recommend eating here at all.

Ordered delivery on 5/15. It came 20 minutes later than the estimated arrival, was stone cold and looked like Chipotle soup. Disappointed is an understatement.

I usually only like to leave positive reviews, but this had to be said. This Chipotle was amazing 5 years ago, but since then, the quality of the food has deteriorated, and the portions have been considerably small since the last time I've been here. I came in for a regular steak burrito, but they only had chicken or sofritas and had no additional food cooking to refill the rest. Unfortunately, the food they did have on hand was noticeably old and stale. The staff were trying to look busy, but they had us wait for almost 10 minutes to order. In short, it's not worth stepping into this Chipotle. If the staff doesn't want to be there, why should I.

Literally just came in and order my food and then got to the cashier to finalize my payment and went to pay with my cash, they said they didn't have $39.25 in change for a hundred dollar bill. And then started being rude and sassy saying they don't carry cash and everyone pays with card. Never coming here again and worst chipotle ever.

The lady had no tomatoes and no sour cream and was running out of food. Instead of getting more, she put less food in our bowls. When I asked for her to put a proper spoonful (she did less than half the spoon, the bowl was literally all rice???) she said to pay for a second spoonful. And lo and behold the second time was a proper spoonful. And the cashier was rude and rushed too. Would not come here again.

The workers were stressed and I had to keep telling them it’s ok and they were doing a great job. As someone who works in food and who is a manager, I really felt bad for them. My food was not made correctly but I didn’t want to put more stress on them. The place was packed and they were doing the best they could. This is the 3rd time going and not getting good service but I love chopotle. Asked for vinaigrette but was told they didn’t have any.

I love chipotle, and this location used to be much better. However, this last year it has seemed to get progressively worse. Every time I come to this location there is something wrong. The ice machine has worked about 20% of the time for the last 6 months. They seem to run out of chips frequently. This time I came at 1900 and they had no smoked brisket (which is fine), they were out of white rice entirely, out of mild and medium salsa entirely, out of chips, and the Queso was cold and crusty. The ice machine is not working again, and every single table in the restaurant is dirty. Now I understand they could be short staffed today, I’m not trying to complain about employees, I’m sure they are just doing their best, they are very friendly and polite! The store needs an intervention though, or just shut down the location.

It’s not often that I leave reviews.. but when I do.. it’s 5 star.. or on the contrary 0 stars. This chipotle is lucky we do not get this option. Where do I begin… first off, I NEVER go to this location; for a few reasons, number one, they SKIMP your portions (if you don’t believe me..read the other reviews), number two there are probably only a few people at this location that are lovely to deal with, the rest are rude and incompetent (AGAIN if you don’t believe me, READ THE OTHER REVIEWS), and lastly the main reason I don’t like going to this location is because the bathrooms/dining area are DISGUSTING!!! I have a 8 year old, so of course we have to go to the bathroom every time we go somewhere.. the tables are always filthy.. food on the floors… if this is what the front of your house looks like.. imagine what the back looks like (scary thought huh?). But last night, they gave me a new reason.. and this will be THE LAST TIME.. EVER!! It was 7 pm and my daughter and her friend just got done with practice so we were absolutely starving and I thought you know what I’ll give it a second chance (try millionth actually) HUGE mistake. While the portions that were given to me weren’t skimpy (only because the kid who made my bowl looked like he was new or he didn’t care he just gave me what I wanted)-side bar: this is how it should be. (A family of 3 pays $45 dollars without drinks) I am making damn sure, I get my moneys worth. Anyway, portion was fine… quality TERRIBLE. I get the salad and the greens are always wilted and I put a lot of emphasis on always. The salad dressing is always filled about 1/3 the way IF THAT. This last year I have switched to the white rice from the brown because they never seem to cook it correctly (not just this location..all locations). So we get to paying for our food and let me point out.. I am ALWAYS a lovely customer. I’ve worked in the service industry and know. I just know. So I am always great, ask them how their day was, make small talk etc. and they are not friendly whatsoever!!!! anyway, I go to take my first bite and the rice is ROCK HARD. I’m like okay.. it’s just that bite.. nope all of it is like this.. and my daughters, her friends..all of ours. So I’m going to say something obviously.. I paid $45 dollars. They proceed to tell me it takes an hour to get more rice. (They already had people waiting 20 mins for chicken) …this is a joke right? I said ok fine. And then I remembered.. I remembered how bad uncooked rice is for you. They were continuing to serve this after I told them. So I told just about everyone in that line and they were shocked. They finally took it off the line. I explained to them how bad it is for your body to eat uncooked rice and they were dumbfounded. I can’t believe that they do not have the knowledge of this on the back of their hand. I took lengthy food safety classes when I worked in the service industry…. It’s terrifying to think they handle raw meat. We’re paying MORE MONEY for WORSE quality. And I CANNOT let someone spend their hard earned money at this establishment. Eating uncooked rice is harmful!! If you don’t know google it. The fact that the manager tried to tell me that the temperature was at control level.. makes this place look even worse! That is not what this is about!!! You will never get my money again… DO BETTER

**BEWARE!!** This place is an absolute disgrace. **HORRIBLE SERVICE** and disgusting food. **THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY FOOD**—completely unacceptable! The woman behind the counter, **CALLIE**, had the audacity to refuse my refund and told me to deal with customer service instead. This Chipotle is the filthiest, most revolting location you could possibly step into. I'm attaching my receipt because I know they'll try to deny I was even here. **STAY AWAY!**

Honestly, Everytime I order from here there's an issue with my order and they never have any fitting response for it. Missing items from delivery, wrong selections mixed into the wrong orders, stale chips. I'm a big fan of Chipotle but wish we had a better one here.

0 Star SOFRITAS contaminated with pieces of PORK and BEEF: On August 26, 2022, at approximately 1700 hours, I purchased two (2) Sofritas Bowls (Confirmation Number YQ3-EA4) for $29.15 via Chipotle App. Upon arrival at my house, I started eating and observed a piece of Pork inside my food. I checked the other Sofritas Bowl and discovered additional pieces of Steak I could see. Both Sofritas Bowl were contaminated with meat, which clearly I did not order. I was distraught by the food contamination. I attempted to contact Sand City Chipotle to complain about the food and advised them of their contaminated food, but I was redirected to customer service. I could not get in touch with any representative at the local store. If are a Vegetarian or Vegan, I would not suggest that you try this, if you are ok with your Sofritas having a bits and pieces of meat then you are ok. Chipotle failed again in training their employee on food safety, if you eat at any Chipotle you bear the risk of having animal products as a surprise and this is what the customer service told me that they cannot guarantee that your tofu will not have meat or cross contaminated with other food due to close proximity to other ingredients. I choose to never eat at Chipotle again.

I asked the server to put more after seeing never amounts of Ingrid’s t she was putting, he just pretended to put an extra scoop (empty spoon) in my bowl. Wth….. 4/22/24. This is my second review of this chipotle, I had hoped that they will improve, but alas something’s never changes. The place does not deserve any star rating. Ordered veggie bowl, that’s rice beans, mild salsa, guac, cheese and lettuce… Again this place has servers with skimpiest servings. Really I mean will it kill them to put some content into the bowl that a person can eat. And not to exaggerate, I am only comparing to other chipotle establishment nearby… $12.50 gets you half the content that other chipotles will give you… ***+*DO NOT VISIT*****, drive 10 mins to chipotle @ del monte mall and it will be so much better.

The short older Hispanic woman with glasses was not only rude but ASSUMED my husband spoke/understood Spanish. So after taking my order in English, she switched over to Spanish and even tho he spoke in English, she continued to ask questions in Spanish and because of that his bowl came out so bad. She skimped on everything. The other girl Wendy (sweet girl, rung up the order) did a bowl before ours and it looked amazing. Also food quality was horrible. I usually get lettuce in my burrito but it looked so brown and wilted I had to opt out today. 0/10 don’t recommend coming here unless you want to pay crazy prices for measly portions. 👎🏻

Trash is full and spilling all over.. Will never visit again.. My spent was not worth it… 1st time facing a unsatisfactory service with Chipotle…

Barely got half a bowl on a mobile order pickup. I paid for a full bowl, not half. If you’re gonna raise your prices, at least give us all of our food. Chipotle Sand City is the above-ground pool of Chipotles in our area. Mid AF

I’ve given this Chipotle three chances, and every visit has been disappointing. The portions are way below standard, barely any protein, skimpy toppings, and definitely not what you’re paying for. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was a one-off, but nope…same issue every time. On top of that, the customer service is awful!
