Posto incantevole......strada un po' stretta ma il panorama e la sensazione di relax sono esuberanti. Mangiato bene...Agnello di loro produzione eccezionale.... Persone cordiali nonostante la fatica a parlare italiano. Ma si sa la loro mentalità......... Da ritornare sicuramente.........

Abbiamo pranzato benissimo,gli gnocchi di patate con ortiche erano deliziosi. I dolci poi squisiti. I proprietari molto cordiali e disponibili. Un posto davvero curato e accogliente,lo consiglio vivamente. Sicuramente ci torneremo! Complimenti.

Siamo stati ospiti dello Stallwies questa settimana, alla stanza "maso caccia", 2 adulti con bambino di poco più di 1 anno e un cane bovaro del bernese. Fin da subito l'accoglienza e l'ospitalità sono state eccezionali e per tutta la settimana siamo stati coccolati e viziati. Ci hanno saputo incantare con i racconti della loro vita al maso, consigliare percorsi, ci hanno prestato gratuitamente lo zaino portabimbi (avevamo dimenticato il nostro a casa), ci hanno aiutato nell'intrattenere il nostro mostriciattolo con giochi di ogni tipo al ristorante, ci hanno accontentato nelle nostre richieste di contatto con animali (mucche, asino, pony, galli e pulcini), e non solo ci hanno permesso di tenere con noi il nostro cane al ristorante ma anche ci hanno aiutato con la sua alimentazione conservando in freezer le pappe casalinghe (visti i suoi disturbi alimentari) che le avevamo preparato e scaldandole a colazione e cena. Stando allo Stallwies ci siamo sentiti proprio in famiglia. Il ristorante é davvero ottimo e anche lì ci hanno assecondato con menù specifico per le intolleranze alimentari. La posizione tra i masi più alti del Sud Tirol permette di godere di un panorama incantevole ed é punto di partenza per alcuni sentieri e vicino a tante altre escursioni. La Val Martello, ancora poco turistica, merita davvero di essere conosciuta ed esplorata (sentiero del contadino, sentiero delle gole del Rio Plima, sentiero delle fragole, lago di Gioveretto e tanti altri). Consigliamo per raggiungere lo Stallwies con la macchina di puntare il navigatore sul Niederhof (via Selva) e di proseguire poi per la strada asfaltata fino in alto seguendo la segnaletica stradale, altrimenti rischiate di trovarvi a valle se inserite Waldeberg 1.

We visited this mountain hut for lunch. The food was delicious and plentiful, with the goulash being especially good. Elena and her husband were very friendly. Easy walks are possible from the parking lot, and the bark water channel along one of the trails is fascinating. Google misdirects the route; you have to go up from the village of Martello.

An exceptional lunch from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The food was of the highest quality, prepared with natural, genuine, and fresh ingredients, bringing out authentic flavors. The desserts were spectacular, true masterpieces: the chef's touch and passion were clearly evident. A wonderful location in Val Martello. An experience well worth the trip.

We were wonderfully looked after by the warm and welcoming hosts at Stallwies. At 2000m altitude, nothing was left to be desired: beautiful modern rooms, a perfect fresh breakfast, and delicious 5-course dinners with local ingredients, magnificent views, sunrises and sunsets, attentive service from the three-generation Stricker family, and the chance to pet the animals in the barn. We stayed at the Stallwies Inn for two nights, half-board included, and our four guests (2 adults, 2 children) had a family room in the annex. Everything was well-kept and clean. Stallwies offers a stunning view and many beautiful hikes right outside the front door. Our children loved the farm animals. Everyone at the farm was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, and our 5-course dinner was also excellent! We would love to come back.

Amazing experience! The staff were super friendly and the service was great. The food was honestly the best especially after a long hike, the schnitzel and goulash were incredible, and the strawberry tiramisu was a 10/10. Highly recommend sitting outside to enjoy the beautiful view. Great food at a good price!

We followed the advice of our friend Hans (the owner of the house where we're staying) and came here to the Stalwiess Hotel Restaurant. We ate divinely: cheese and spinach gnocchi, zucchini-filled ravioli, and cheese-filled ravioli. We also had a delicious strawberry tiramisu. We were then treated to a black cherry liqueur and a Swiss pine grappa. Needless to say, they were also delicious and reasonably priced. I'd also like to thank the very kind, friendly, and charming Mrs. Elena, who welcomed us and assisted us with our choices. And thanks also to Mr. Peter. The only drawback not attributable to the StellwiesHof is the non-existent and incorrect directions on Google Maps, which completely ignores the road from the village of Martello to the restaurant.

We spent a week at Stallwies and had a wonderful time, enjoying the magnificent view as soon as you step outside the house. The hiking trails start right at the doorstep. I don't think I've ever eaten so well – simply superb. We received excellent advice for hikes and felt very comfortable in the friendly atmosphere with our dog. The rooms in the newly built house are spacious, furnished with a comfortable sofa, a very comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom, and are spotlessly clean. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Historic mountain farmhouse/hotel with unexpected gourmet restaurant nestled in unique panoramic location at the end of a steep road overlooking the valley. Great for families because kids can run around free and safe. Many paths to the surrounding peaks start from here. Owners very helpful. Nice simple and spotlessly clean rooms available. Bearded vultures occasionally seen nearby.

Maso di montagna molto accogliente in zona fantastica. Ottima vista con possibilità di escursioni facili ma molto belle. Cucina tradizionale curata e buona.

Si raggiunge anche con mezzi pubblici lungo una tipica strada di montagna. Il panorama è sulla valle sottostante. Il cibo merita una visita, come pure la cortesia del servizio.

Location fantastica con vista sulla vallata, buona qualità ma prezzi molto alti anche per essere una malga. Avevamo chiesto informazioni su un torta poi arrivata completamente diversa. Però tiramisù alle Fragole fantastico!!!

Malga molto affollata, in cui é consigliato prenotare il tavolo. Attesa di 1 ora per ricevere i piatti ordinati, arrivati anche a distanza uno dall'altro. Cibo buono ma non indimenticabile. Prezzo in linea con gli altri ristoranti del loco.
