They always been very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. I just picked up our large takeout order. So when I got it home I have to,... of course look to see with what was missing or incorrect This is the third time now that it's been perfect I'm impressed. Thanks again, David O.

It's one of the better ikops around some of them lost there appeal due to poor customer service so it's really up to staff to make it great or not

This particular IHOP has a homey energy. The staff for super nice and whether it's your first time or you come every day they make you feel like you're in their kitchen.

I like sitting in the back because the tables move easily and I fit better. Not that I'm fat, but I am a big boy. The booths are just too small. But the service is great. The is a welcomed change from home. But we all know that home cooking has no substitute. Always a patron

This place is a treasure, undiscovered until now! The food was excellent, the restaurant including the restroom were immaculately clean. And the service was unequaled. Our server, Erika was beyond fantastic, perhaps one of the best servers I have ever encountered.

We took our son for his annual birthday breakfast before school. It was 40 degrees out and Megan, our waitress, was kind enough to have the heat lamps brought out. Food was delicious and service was great.

I've been coming to this location since I was little but don't come often. For a Sunday Brunch it was not too busy at all. We were seated right away. The waitress was very nice and our hot pancakes came out super fast. Coffee is good and not too weak. All of the staff was polite and location was clean. Will come again.

Easy to get a table, first time here. They have a new menu, fancier, priced more but better food and selection. Had hashbrowns, avocado toast with eggs, perfectly done except they forgot to make hashbrowns very crisp.But they brought more that were perfect. Servers were friendly and efficient but not so fast with requests (do not know if they were short people), asking twice they remembered. They have an all you can eat yummy pancakes for $5 special right now. Bathrooms and restaurant were clean and tables prepared for guests. Easy parking, lot is shared with other stores. Would recommend you try this restaurant and enjoy the newer food selections.

It was warm and inviting. The waitress was so Awesome! Sweet, helpful, and attentive. The food is always yummy, no matter what you are in the mood for. Plenty of parking and we had zero wait time to be seated. It was a great experience all in all.

This IHOP is clean and kid friendly. The server was attentive and efficient. My picky 3 - and 5 year old kids and 8 year old nephew were super happy with their food. My turkey melt was delicious. I also thought it was really nice that the manager took a little tour of the restaurant and checked in with every table, asking how their experience was going. Really nice IHOP.

Went there for 1st time, unfortunately a waitress had leave due emergency. 1 waitress, she was so kind, not stressed the place was busy. The food was excellent eggs, bacon, hash browns, French toast. So good.

Look, I don't go out to breakfast much anymore because of skyrocketing prices of eating out in general. However I was feeling a bit nostalgic for some IHOP breakfast and brought my 4 year old with me. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly. My child was absolutely thrilled to choose her own breakfast with her little menu. I chose eggs benedict, and it came out perfectly cooked. Not soggy, and not drenched with hollandaise sauce. My child loved her silver dollar pancakes with bacon and eggs. Our server was kind and attentive. I'll definitely come back to this spot again!

I recently ate here and no lie the lady cooking was definitely a 5 star chef. The eggs were fluffy and rich, everything was great. I believe she is the kitchen manager, thank you for a great breakfast. This IHOP is worth visiting. I will be returning 🙌

I had such a great experience at IHOP Martinez ! The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made me feel right at home. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect with our meal. The food came out quickly, hot, and delicious—the pancakes were especially fluffy and fresh. We each got our favorite dish. The food was delicious, the waiter was prompt, friendly, very nice. The only drawback the $$$ has really gone up so we don't go very much.

They were a bit short on staff, but more than made up for it in quality service and quantity of delicious food!

I think they were fabulouis considering the prices. We had breakfast. Good eggs, bacon, ham, sausages, hash browns and toast. Servers were nice.

The restaurant was clean and the staff attentive. The food was a better than most iHop's I have visited. I had the harvest pancakes and cage free eggwhites. I will be back.

Service was pretty solid ordered the Colorado omelette which is the meat lovers and blueberry French toast service was prompt within 10 minutes of sitting down we were eating and the meal quality was pretty solid $40 for 2 people seems the norm nowadays

IHOP is a large corporate-run probably franchised restaurant. What it lacks in uniqueness and novelty, it makes up for in consistency. In other words if you like IHOP restaurants in general is no reason not to go to this specific one

I was pleasantly surprised by their updated interior and their menu. I'm a lover of Sunday breakfasts but I hadn't been to IHOP for years. I had the most wonderful crepes. Highly recommend the Martinez location. I would have given 5 stars but the hostess came across as unwelcoming and seemed a little spaced out.

The service is always good despite frequent understaffing and the music is fun. Also the new lemonade mixes are fantastic. I haven't gotten my eggs cooked the way I ordered them any of the times I've eaten here though.

Weekday breakfast is easy to grab at this convenient location right off Hwy 4. Food is fast , tasty and very friendly service. Only oddity is the coffee ☕ cups are 1/2 normal size and the syrup bottles are smaller than I remember but I understand. Less waste 😊

Extremely busy around 11am on a Sunday (right after church got out, I'm sure), but by the time we were finished, it had cleared out nicely. Very good food. I got the cream cheese filled crepes with strawberries. I was a little disappointed they only had plain Belgian waffles on the menu. I was craving waffles with strawberries and whipped cream. I could have ordered it and I'm sure they would've made it but the waffles 'area' on the menu was in a small corner at the top. Kinda bummed about that. I used to get waffles every time. I haven't been to IHOP in years, and I know it's International House of PANCAKES, but I was disappointed there weren't more kinds. I'm never dissapointed in the food, though, it's always yummy. Very nice waitress. Even though the place was jam-packed when we went in, there was no wait at all. We must've timed it just right. Side note: I have NEVER, and will never buy a burger from IHOb. Nope. No way.

This was our 3rd time here,ended up leaving the first time because we got a strong hint they didn't want to seat us an hour before closing time,second time here we had the waitress who didn't want to seat us the 1st time...the food was mediocre and it seemed like waitress was trying to explain why they wanted to close early and was being kind of overly nice(fake)...that being said it was decent....3rd time will be my last, the seating was not well thought out ,we were sat at a table with 4 less chair then what we needed ,had us moving things ...just unorganized...messed up our order several times so much so they had a different waiter come ask if we had issues with our orders..never got all our orders..they did take 20percent off bill for the overall experience...(I overheard a group seated near us complaing that their orders were wrong also) the food was also not what I expected..we won't visit this particular Ihop again,I feel like we gave them a fair chance especially after how we were treated on our first visit...(we ended up at a Dennys that evening and had great service and food was good)

Stopped in for breakfast and was surprised they don’t open until 7am. Went and filled up my car and came back. Still waited 15 minutes. I was the first and only one inside which should have been a sign . Ordered chicken fried steak with eggs hash browns and pancakes. Now for a place that’s known for pancakes you might expect a really good pancake to show up. Well it didn’t, I was somewhat disappointed but pressed on.Iam not sure that I would ever return, but you can certainly go and form your own opinions.

BLT was withered lettuce and barely toasted bread with small pieces of bacon. Very very dry sandwich with inadequate application of mayonnaise.

They had almost nothing on the menu. I'm surprised it's a place to eat and they had almost nothing on the menu. Not to mention that the women's bathroom had no place to wash hands.

I dont like hashbrowns and so i asked my server if i can substitute them for something and she says patatoe for patatoe. So i get country patatoes. Which i didnt like and come to find out was an upcharge. She should have mentioned that. I also ordered apple juice which i didnt like and i asked for a soda instead which she didnt bring until we were ready to leave. I will say there new york cheesecake pancakes are on point! There delicious!

I mean delicious pancakes. Lots of different kinds of syrup. Bit $10 for pancakes? $15 for an omelette? Yes omelette is good but not that good. Booths are comfortable but not fancy. We need Dennys prices here people. Your business model is flawed. Place is on the way out.

I'm giving it two stars for being open and actually having food. We took our grandkids...our food came out lukewarm with a bi black hair on the meat. The waitress was nice, but she only checked on us once. Everytime we go here we say we arwnt going back and this kinda stuff is exactly why!

There were only 2 of us at the table & they could not seem to get the orders right. One ordered a country breakfast burrito with no avacado, extra cheese & the other order was the country burrito bowl with no peppers, extra cheese. Both came with no eggs or hash browns. The burrito had about a full avacado on it & the bowl had so many peppers it made my nose run. Had to wait 5 mins before a server appeared again then acted like she was confused when I told her neither order was correct. Took 15 mins to get our corrected orders. There were only 4 tables of customers. Could be a long time before I go back.

The staff was attentive and we did not have to wait long. The food however was not good. Greasy eggs and overcooked bacon. Not worth the rising costs.

Extremely understaffed. They seemed to have only 3 employees on a Friday night. The waitress was having to seat people, wait on them, and check them out. The cook was preparing food. And one person who seemed to be the manager was doing nothing but sitting at one of the tables reading. Felt extremely bad for the waitress who looked overworked and underpaid. Probably won't ever return to this Ihop.

It place, food good, but I was charged $2.29 for a glass of water. The receipt said bottled water, never received the bottle of water. Is that all you have to say!! You copy an paste an you follow up with that franchise!! Isn't that your job!!!

Hash browns were such a tiny portion and cam to the table cold. We've been disappointed before. Probably won't go back. Too bad because we like IHOP.

Had not been to IHOP in 5 years so i was surprised when i took my 3 children ages 5, 3, and 1 for breakfast one Saturday morning that our bill was over $60. I ordered a short stack(3 pancakes and my kids all had kids pancake breakfast and drinks....when did pancakes get so expensive?

The service was horrible the waitress never refilled our drinks and the food took almost a hour to come out and when it did we didnt receive any condomints, when we ordered we were told we had to wait to order our food till our drink order was put in, next time I'm going to vic's

Can't believe that a chain this big doesn't have Veggie Burgers in California. Not this locations fault, but they really should carry them. A lot of people don't eat meat, for religious, moral & dietary reasons.

Just because you want the shot doesn't mean everyone wants it. Theres a reason this place stays empty. Maybe the manager/independent owner will get the hint. I will gladly take my business somewhere else.

We stood in front waiting to be seated for 10 mins no one came to get us, then they sat us in a dirty table and did not clean it I had to move it to the other table. We didn’t have a server for 10 mins and no one would claim us, after waiting for so long for drinks which was only WATER we finally got food and then here’s the kicker........ there was a long piece of hair on my food right before I was about to take a bite.. I told them I wasn’t paying for it and left. This place always low on staff the pancakes didn’t have flavor. Disgrace to Ihop and Martinez as a whole.

I don't know why I keep coming here... convenience I guess. It smells like sewage every time you walk in. The main waiter who is always there, is not friendly and not very good at his job either. He does not focus on the table he is with while taking the order, instead he is looking around like he has something better to do. He never smiles. It is obvious he hates his life.

And that's before tax and tip! Highway robbery! And the overall quality of the food sucks, as it always has. Never again.

super bad service. I placed an order to pick up 4 orders of pancakes and waffles and we had to eat them dry because we are moving from home and we don't have anything in the house. They didn't put butter or syrup. They forgot an order of eggs that I made for my baby and she was left without breakfast. I called to get something fixed and the only thing the woman who took my order told me was that they had a lot of orders and that's why they made it wrong. What? what was that answer? If you have many orders, do not receive more calls. I asked her to speak to the manager when I saw her stupid response and she told me that the manager was not there and that she was going to communicate with someone else and this person was worse, the only option was that we return for that and I live 20 minutes away.

Family and I came for breakfast Sunday morning, right when you enter the restaurant it has a sewer horrible smell. Coffee was not fresh. Food was horrible seemed like it was low quality plus it was cold. Service was not so great either. I would not recommend at all.

Horrible service. Took about 30 minutes for us to get just our order taken. My husband ordered steak and they gave him a flattened burger patty instead. Mashed potatoes were served super cold and 2 other parties were served food before us when we got there first. Manager apologized and gave us a discount to make up for it.

This was my worst visit ever. My water had a bug in it. My coffee cup had lipstick on it. They made me the wrong breakfast. They then made me the correct one and it was cold. My Mom's eggs weren't cooked all the way. Her pumpkin coffee was disgusting. Definitely not going back ever.

Absolutely terrible service! I was active duty Air Force, so we came in for Veteran's Day. In the hour and twenty minutes we were there, our waitress came by our table exactly TWICE! Our food took roughly 50 minutes to come out (omelet, pancakes, waffle, eggs), and when it did finally come out, the quality was very bad. The omelet had almost nothing in it, the waffle and pancakes were lukewarm, the eggs were inconsistently cooked, and the hashbrowns were so undercooked as to be inedible. Including my family there were roughly 20 people in the restaurant and 6 people on staff so theres no reason for such poor service and quality. This is the second time in 2023 that we have had this experience, so we will not be returning to this location. I DO NOT recommend this IHOP!

Server(darianna).. overcharged for kids pancakes, forgot items on one meal and completely got other items wrong on another. Didn't offer to fix it, instead said "oh, sorry". Cook.. overcooked meat and eggs but undercooked hashbrowns severely. All and all.. 100 bucks for 3 simple meals that were wrong. I will never return to this location.

The front end manager has a poor attitude. He acts like the customers are bothering him and greets them with a frown. The food was just as bad as he was. Lastly I asked my waitress for change. It took her forever. When she finally came back, she only provided me with two twenties. Seriously. My meal was $57.00. She ripped me off! I left her a twenty as I wanted to get out of there!!! I'll never go back and share this horrible experience with others.

$65.00 plus a tip for three basic breakfast meals at IHOP. Waitress did not write the order down and then brought the wrong food. Everything was covered in sugar and whipped cream; totally gross. What has the world come to when taking your two kids out for pancakes costs over $70.00?

Horrible customer service from the only employee seating customers. Was told multiple times that she would be right back. We waited 24 minutes and just decided to go elsewhere. IHOP you have to do better. The customer service experience is a big part of your success.

Today was my dad's birthday and it was his choice to get something to eat. Coffee tasted like they reused old coffee grounds. Ordered a steak omelette and the wasn't steak. it was not. My dad wonted to 222 deal and it was not 6$ it was 8 they need to fix the TV add. my sister had chicken and waffles,brunt chicken and undercooked waffles. My sent it back and they didn't won't to do it. Not playing on going back

I visited yesterday and saw a “cash only” sign posted on the door. I wasn’t given a receipt—just shown a total on a tablet—which felt unprofessional and sketchy. On top of that, the waiter was rude, and this isn’t the first time I’ve had a negative experience with him. I won’t be returning to this location again. After following up with the supposed manager I still will never return to this location and if I were the franchise owners I would perform an audit. Something isn’t right with this location and she didn’t even address the rude service. Her response was sketchy and she sounded nervous.

I had a negative eating experience. My food was cold. My eggs were more brown than yellow. My spoon had green vegetables on it. And my French toast were made with the end of the bread. My sister ordered chess cake that never came out. I waited almost 20 minutes for some more French toast that never came. I then told the guy who was cleaning the tables that I mo longer wanted it. We got up to pay and then the french toast came.... So, yeah... I would not ear here again.
