Wonderful place to go to. If you party all night and find yourself in the morning hungry, there's no better place to go. The beer selection is excellent, the staff is nice. Outside/inside seating, Large parking lot. Delicious zombies, my personal favorite is the hot link and breakfast zombies. One of my favorite spots in town
Ordered a doordash pickup earlier than I could get there and called in to hopefully delay the order. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Helped me delay the order and set it aside for my arrival 9n which my drinks were chilly and my breakfast zombies to die for job well done rob's zombies...job damn well done 👏
Perfect spot to stop. They got these badass bagel dogs that are giant. Definitely enough to fill you up The staff here are super friendly also, The ham and cheese zombies are delicious too classic 🤤
Ya know, these guys are "the bomb"...... I love 'em!! Well, all except the.. fire in your mouth one....No Thank You....You can keep it...My favorite...."The classic cheese" for me, please. Rob Zombies makes ANY bad day BETTER...Trina rocks...she's the best...in my opinion!! Great and Unique Coffee and Beer also....Can't go wrong with Rob Zombies!!
Awesome spot for some delicious Zombie pockets. Staff is friendly and very welcoming , my go to spot when working at our shop in Concord. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. They also have good selection of brews if your into beers !
My brother had asked me to go to Rob's Zombies for months, I never went. One day he brought me one of their hot link rolls (sandwiches? I'm not sure what they call them). Anytime I'm in the area now, I have to stop by and grab one. If you go later in the day or after it's been really busy, they might be out of some of the options, but that just means - go earlier. Great place and I'd definitely recommend the hot link roll!
First time here, Zombies with cheese are delicious, I spent a good 10 minutes just trying to understand how they got the cheese inside(Still haven't figured it out). Service was awesome nice recommendations, serving sizes are good I'm a big fellow and had the Jalapeno Popper and the Breakfast Zombies and I was full. next time just one will do the trick. Will add some pics on my next visit.
I went there on a Saturday morning and the owner out front informed me they had brisket zombies still (a Friday special) being my first visit I figured why not give it a shot. Let me tell you this was some of the best brisket I have had in California! Will be my go to anytime I’m in the area on a Friday.
Love this place. Zombies were made fresh for my order. My only complaint is that there was a slight sour milk smell by the espresso machine. I was fortunate enough to visit on a day when there was a mini-car show in the parking lot. I
I know some love the plain cheese zombies but I love the Hot Link (beef) and cheese zombies. I am one of the few who never heard of nor had a zombie before? They have a patio in the parking lot or seating inside. It is a little hidden. I am glad my uncle told me about it and now I have brought in a cpl people with me to try it. It is conveniently located off the freeway with alot of industrial places near by. It is perfect to grab if you are heading to Lowes or Home Depot nearby. Friendly and quick service every time I have stopped in. Looking forward to trying their Pizza Zombie next visit.
Fantastic breakfast sandwich and hot link sandwich
Stopped by this morning to get a round of zombies for my work crew. Some of us have grown up in the area and know the zombie goodness. Some of us haven't tried a zombie before, and we all loved em! Got a lot of happy people here at the animal hospital! Thanks!!
Great place! We had wonderful customer service even when it was busy. The food tasted great and all the kids loved it. Definitely recommend and will be back to try more!
After hearing about this place from coworkers, I stopped by and got breakfast zombies... let me tell you, they don't disappoint. They were fresh out of the oven, the coffee was nice and hot just how I like it.
Grabbed a couple Pizza Zombies for lunch here and they were amazing! The staff and atmosphere was great to. Looking forward to next time!
Love this place, can't tell you how many times I've thought to myself, "okay so all I have to do is go to CVHS at brunch time and BLEND and buy a zombie..." So thank you for bringing these back to my life. Katie is the BEST!
Best ever pizza zombies...now, these were not around back in 1988 when I was in high school...but they coulda/shoulda been, they are bomb. My suggestion? You know those cinnamonny, sugary, hot, greasy delish, hot creamy custard inside BALLS---Lord forgive me, but I love me some BALLS--you know, I been told a time or two hunnet.....well, NM; prolly not "appropo" to finish that sentence but use your imagination... ANYway, them BALLS that are served at taco bell? I think they originate at cinnabon? Well Rob, Baby J,---What say you to Robs GIANT BALLS?! Ahh? Ahh? Has a nice ring, no? A giant version of the average sized BALLS served at cinnabon/Taco Bell?! Smart E. Pants, I am. That's Ms. Pants, to YOU. You're very welcome. I'd be a BALL gobbling mofo---the gobblingEST if you had THOSE. Ummm Nom Nom Nom. The service: Well Katie is just the prettiest, sweetest most professional, most attentive, realest, most down to earth, best Cookie Baker and I personally would like to nominate her for a very big very fat raise because well shes just the best...at what? At anything she does. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime and I'm sure yall thank your lucky stars that shes spending this season with you, you could NOT entrust your business to better hands, none better exist. Fun fact: her GIANT COOKIES start out as GIANT BALLS!! Off you go, now! Go show the GIANT BALLS in YOUR life the affection and attention they DESERVE.
When in the area this is my go to for a quick bite. Friendly staff good food. Recommended
Super yummy ! Always stop here when I'm in the area, I recommend the apple zombie. Although they are all amazing !
Literally so delicious. My coworkers and I regularly get the classic with cheese, and the ham and cheese. If you get there early, they also have an apple pie zombie that sells out because it's so popular.
Zombies are baked fresh here. Zombies are puffy, pillowy soft buns filled with delicious ingredients! Just heavenly!!! The Original Cheese Zombie uses the same recipe that was served in Concord schools when I was a kid, so it's also sentimental. I also tried the Popper Zombie, which had jalapeno, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese. I can't wait to try all the others. It was amazing!! They also serve hot coffee, iced coffee, and beer on tap. The staff is so awesome, friendly, attentive, and on point. This great place to eat opens really early, and there's lots of parking and dog friendly. You will definitely fall in love with Rob's Zombies!!!
The decor is slick and modern, the options were great! My only note is that the bread or bun was a little thicker and dryer than I prefer. Extra points for the cheese zombie looking like a cute booty! The zombie popper was off the chain good!
A blast from the past! I ate Zombies EVERYDAY in High School and this place brought it all back to my taste buds!!! Very yummy and so many styles/flavors. The ham & cheese was incredibly tasty and hot off the press, while the Zombie popper was insanely delicious! I will be back to try their other one's. They have coffee and BEER! It was so crowded I couldn't get a beer, but that's ok. I highly recommend you stop in and give it a try, I doubt you will be disappointed. Keep up the good work Rob's Zombies 🧟♀️ 👏
Place is awesome! Great food at really good prices! 10 outta 10 highly recommend!🔥🔥🍻
I stopped intrigued by the concept of the food here. Great food.. very delicious. I got 3 zombie rolls.. they were delicious. Two hot link rolls and a pastrami roll. Very yummy, warm cheese and meat in a bun. Beer on tap. Ample parking, free wifi. Thanks so much.. will be back soon

This is our go-to breakfast spot for getting food on the run. The kids love the zombies and they can eat them in the car without making to much of a mess. We have tried the original, cheeseburger, breakfast, pizza, hot link, ham and cheese, and a few of the coffee selections... all have been fantastic. All the employees have been super friendly.
Great place. Great prices especially for nowadays. Definitely that nostalgic food for me. Use to shove hot Cheetos in my zombies. Bomb 👌 still do just not as much haha If you’ve never done that you should try it 😁 always down to try the different flavors they cook up 🧑🍳
I first found out about zombies through DoorDash and after a few delicious online orders, decided to check them out in person. The zombies have become a staple snack in our household and we look forward to grabbing one anytime we are in the area. My favorite is the Ham and Cheese! My husband loves the Friday specials (pulled pork / brisket) and makes it a point to get there early on Friday’s before heading to work.
Great spot for a quick on-the-go breakfast or snack. Prices are fair and staff is great. Been going here for 4+ years and never had a negative experience. I've tried the other zombie places in the area and this is by far the best.
The food was outstanding!!! Was there for Can N Rigs truck and overla d show!!!
The Zombies are delicious 😋. First real Cafe Mocha I've had in a long time.
I was so excited to find this place and try their zombies! I didn’t realize the zombie literally originated from Concord, CA- how cool is that! My husband and I enjoyed the regular zombie, the popper zombie, the breakfast zombie and the apple pie zombie. We actually really, really, liked their coffee selections and had a white mocha and a hot Carmel macchiato. The macchiato had nice thick foam on top and the white mocha had oat milk!! The staff was very nice and the atmosphere was fun and modern. We want to come back and try their beers on tap! One thing I wish there was more of would be vegetarian options- (egg, cheese, jalapeño breakfast one? Pleaaase!!?)
I went for lunch on a Saturday, and my visit was perfect IMO. I got to pickup a cheap meal(zombie, fountain drink, and big bag of chips) for under $8. Can't get that anywhere nowadays. Got it with zero wait time and it looked like a great place to hangout in, although I just went in ordered and left. I give it 5 starts for my needs in a quick lunch spot.
I had no expectations but I was in the area, it was lunch time and I thought I’d try it out. I haven’t had a cheese zombie since high school (Northgate, class of ‘82). They were hot, fresh out of the oven and .35 cents. The one I got was also hot but a bit more at $6.50. I got the hot link zombie which is made with American cheese and half of a hot link sausage sliced in half. I ordered it with pepper jack but was told that they are all pre made and kept warm. That means that they are fast and hot but not necessarily exactly how you want them. It was good but I wasn’t in a hurry and would have waited for what I really wanted. I’ll try something else if I go back again.

I had the jalepeno popper zombie, regular cheese zombie and an iced coffee and they were all really good. The girl behind the counter was nice, but it threw me off a little bit seeing her hair tossed into a messy bun and wearing sweat pants like she just rolled out of bed and came to work. I'd prefer the people handling my food to be dressed more professionally cause it gives the impression she doesnt care about her job. But like I said, the zombies are very good and I'm happy this place is so close by for me cause I look forward to trying more.
Overall, the ham and cheese zombie it was quite good. I have a very sensitive palate, and I could not get over the overwhelming aftertaste of goat cheese. I doubt that the product contained goat cheese, so this really baffled me. It was not in the bread or cheese, but the ham had a strong note of goat cheese. I have no idea why, but it really turned me off, but this is not a reflection of their product just my palate.
Enjoyed the cheeseburger zombie, but I was not a fan of the pizza. The pizza wasn't bad, but I really prefer my pepperoni crippled on top of a pizza instead of inside of a bun.
This is an interesting idea. I had their Zombie popper which is jalapeños, bacon, cheddar cheese and cream cheese inside a buttery bun. They have a good amount of options. The bun is nice and soft and and the cheese nice and melted. It’s a good snack for any occasion
Tasty cheesy stuffed rolls. The pizza zombie is particular good. Like the platonic ideal from which the hot pocket originated. They were out of some varieties like breakfast, hot pink, and brisket. But that’s probably my fault for trying them on a Friday late afternoon. Looking forward to coming back to try the others!
Robs Zombies. Very nostalgic! They are serving breakfast sandwiches and other things. But I came in for the cheeses zombies. These sandwiches are filled with cheese. They also have some filled with chicken and jalapeño and more. These sandwiches were served at my high school. It was very nostalgic of the good old days. It tasted like it did back in the day. I loved it. I also bought a very large chocolate chip cookies. It was bigger than my hand. It was soft and chewy just like how I like it. The size of the bread is maybe a little bit bigger than a normal burger. The price is standard. I actually think it’s too much for just cheese and bread but I don’t mind it. Service was great. Very friendly people inside. The vibe is like is like diner/dive. Funky decor and very clean inside.

Walked in without understanding what this place was. As I understand it, zombies are a roll baked around (?) the stuffing. Enjoyed the hot link and would recommend this as a fast-food sort of meal since they remind me of hot-pockets, just fresh and better. No complaints, pleasant staff and patrons, lots of cool cars in the vicinity.
My first zombie was ham and cheese. It was a tasty little sandwich or zombie that is. Price was great and service very fast. I'll try it again.

The other reviews bit me. And I stumbled into this trap. One thinks you will get a fresh roll stuffed with goodies. The breakfast one came out of a heater wrapped in foil. It was so disappointing and the roll had no texture. Beware!!
Well let's start off that 1 I will never come back here again and the reason for it is because one the inconsistency of food some days you get a lot of bread some days you get a lot of cheese there's no consistency 2 they are charging a convenience fee for using your debit card now when is it legal to charge a convenience fee for food? So rob zombies you earn this 100% today because I've been coming there for a while and today will be the final day after you charged me a convenience fee to use my debit card do you already charge more than the other zombie shop that is out here your quality is not as good as theirs even know that y'all are partnered together so I think I'm gonna put a review on the other one and speak about this too. They didn't even announce that they're charging a convenience fee they just added in there without saying anything unprofessional 100%
Gotta be honest I was really excited when another coffee place came in (partial coffee place) I've come here a few times, the coffee hasn't been great but people were friendly enough. Today I came in and all 3 girls working the counter were not wearing masks nor were a good amount of their customers (really just a warning for the owner as this can get you fined or shut down quickly), all of them had an attitude, no hello or kindness during the process of ordering, I knew they could have some sort of emotion because they were laughing and joking with each other. not to sound like a "Karen" here but it was a bummer because this is a place I had a ton of hope for. The coffee still also needs a lot of work too. I don't think I'll be coming back again..
How can you be closed on Saturdays and Sundays? A restaurant establishment, especially one that serves beer should definitely be open on the weekends. Close for two weekdays if need be but not on the weekends. I loved the place that was here before. I went on several Saturday mornings to get an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich or zombie. I was so sad when they closed their doors. So, of course when I saw Rob’s Zombies fill this space I was thrilled but closed on weekends?! I guess I’ll never get to visit this place. :(
I tried to go on Sunday, September 23th. Arrive at 2:12 and noticed someone was wiping down the tables and felt bad for showing up around closing. I was going to go in and ask if they already cleaned the kitchen to decided whether I was going to eat there or not. Well they had already locked the doors even though it was 45 minutes from closing, so I just left instead. Thought it was a little odd so just wanted to let people know that they close much earlier than they say they do.
I'm a delivery driver. You closed early and canceled the order I was to pick up and then just waved me away when I knocked on the door trying to figure out what happened. I just wasted 15 min of my unpaid time to drive over there. I was interested in trying this place out for lunch, but nope not now. I won't give you any of my business. Response to your response: Canceling an order hurts my business. I wasted 15 min of my time to get to your establishment and was not paid for that time as well as being out the money I would have made making the delivery. In addition; the customer who ordered is also out their meal, which I am sure they were hungry and waiting on. Maybe in the future when you run out of things turn off your delivery apps instead of leaving them on and canceling. It hurts my pockets directly. Maybe think before you just cancel a delivery and close early. Also tell your employees it's degrading and rude to just wave "go away" to people knocking at the door, especially when your hours state you are open.
