Decent food at a fair price... Our waitress was terrific. But the restaurant itself, Nothing to write home about.

Although this place was busy as evidenced in the difficulty in finding something, the service was outstanding! We were able to get a table quickly, order quickly, and receive our food quickly. Our cups were always full of water, and servers checked on its regularly for anything we needed. The food looked and smelled great. The portion size for reasonable for the price. The only problem I had was that the food was a little bland. I had the red rock shrimp, and my husband had a half rack of barbecue ribs. I had one of his ribs. They tasted so good that I ordered an extra side of barbecue sauce to dip my bland shrimp and bland steamed broccoli into.

Friendly staff our waiter went above and beyond for us, steak quality and shareable desserts were great! Would only recommend larger tables for an upscale vibe.

The food was great and good. The loaf of bread was delicious and very fresh. The steak in my chicken fried steak and my husband's burger had a lot of tendon nerves; however, the salad and loaded potato soup were delicious. I asked for mushrooms, and they were over seasoned, but they correcrd it with new mushrooms with no seasoning. The mac and cheese with bacon and mashed potatoes were on point! The chocolate lava cake with ice cream was also delicious!

I ordered the filet mignon medium well and the shrimp. The food took a while to arrive, the filet was well done and the shrimp were meehh, something I could've cook at home. The salads that my family ordered were good. Once we all had our plates we couldn't start eating because we didn't have oir silverware. This was on a Saturday night, I don't know if that influenced the service. There are more options out there, I dont think I will be back soon.

I dine here often. The food is always good. The service mediocre but today it was the worst! The people in the front dont have a clue what they are doing. One young lady is too worried about her looks than checking us in. The other guy has an attitude and is straight up lazy. Truly disappointed with today's service. If the food wasn't so good I wouldn't come again.

Service was good. Food was good. But there was a live bug in my salad? Not a roach so happy about that, but I suppose their lettuce doesn’t get washed. The salad was removed from my tab so that was nice.

I was reluctant to eat at the Longhorn again, based on my first time experience, however, my son wanted to go for his birthday. The Longhorn definitely gets points for it's decor and ambience. Once we were seated our server brought us our drink order and a loaf of wheat bread and a side of butter. After ordering, our salads (included) arrived quickly. I wanted salt for my salad, so I asked my server to bring me some. I wanted salt for my tomatoes and because the house-made dressing lacked salt. I never received it, when our entrees arrived I was able to remind my server that I still wanted it. Also I found pieces of lettuce that did not look fresh, unfortunately that also happened on my first visit. My wife ordered the Sirloin, which was cooked correctly this time compared to the complete miss the first time we ate there. At any restaurant it's a good idea to check back on the table to make sure the order is correct, and more so at a steak house. This is to insure that the steaks were done properly, and at some places the server waits at the table until you cut into your steak to make sure it's done properly. Our server never checked back to see if our order was fine. My son ordered the Rib eye with Mac and cheese, his steak was cooked perfectly. He raved about the Mac and cheese and loved the bacon in it. I took a bite and agree, it was super cheesey and stringy, and very good. I ordered the Salmon, what a disappointment, it had a decent sear but they should season it more, it was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor, some kind of butter, or topping would have made it much better. I like that it is served with rice but that too could have been much more flavourful, and the broccoli was just plain ole broccoli bland. All in all a good, but not a great experience To bad the level of service, the food and the plate presentations don't meet the level of ambience.

Hi, I’m reaching out because I ate at the LongHorn Steakhouse on North 10th Street in McAllen, Texas on November 12 around 9:00 PM, and shortly after eating I became very sick. My order was: • Flo’s Filet 9 oz • Asparagus • French Fries • Strawberry Salad Within 30 minutes of finishing my meal, I experienced severe nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhea. These symptoms came on very rapidly, which made me concerned there may have been an issue with food handling or contamination. I wanted to report this so the restaurant can look into it and ensure no other diners get sick.

I come here often and usually have a great experience, but this visit was honestly horrible. Our server, Markus (he had glasses), was extremely rude from the start. He basically tossed the coaster onto our table and spoke to us in a loud, rushed tone, almost like he was yelling while pushing us to order. His attitude was obnoxious and completely uncalled for.Not even five minutes after our food arrived, while I wasn’t even halfway done, he came back asking if we were ready for the check. It felt like we were being rushed out the door for no reason.

The male host was horrible. He brought me to the restrooms even though there was plenty of space elsewhere. When I found my sister and mom, they were also sat by the kitchen door. Very rude and disgusted by this place.

Visited restaurant ordered the outlaw ribeye side sweet potato which was very cold squashed the butter on the potato because it wouldn't melt when I tasted it realized it was very cold told the waitress her answer was well you ate it all. I told her I'm buying a 40$ plate and was not going to eat a cold potato asked for the manager who's was not happy with the complaint. After he brought out the another potato which was hot the waitress nor Joe ever come back to ask if anything else was needed. This is extremely poor customer service coming from the waitress and condoned by the Manager very disappointed.
