AMAZING Restaurant. The food is excellent and Julio - the staff is very very friendly. We spent 4 hours sitting outside in the beautiful patio. The wine selection is Excellent and the pizza and pastas are so freshly made. Would definitely recommend it here for great Italian food in Merida.

We only had their pizza once before, a delivery a month ago. This time, we wanted it hot so we went to the restaurant. Our server was great and the restaurant had a nice up-scale decor. The pizza had a good flavor, but the crust was thin and under-cooked. Limp. That was the only thing that distracted from an otherwise great meal.

Fantastic lunch in the neighborhood. I just moved into Colonia Maya and walked here Friday afternoon. I ordered an outstanding pizza and a couple of drinks. The service was excellent, The restaurant was immaculate and very nicely set up. Sergio was a GREAT waiter. The pizza was very good and I would have given 5 stars but I had a Carrajillo that had something missing (is it made with a mix instead actual expresso?). 🤔. Otherwise it was an excellent experience.

Upscale Pizza, the oven is visible to the Diners. Good+ Service, Good Portion Size, Good Flavor on thin crust Pizza. Pricing goes upscale. Disability Access, is okay. Drink prices were a bit upscale.

It seemed like they didn't have everything we wanted to order. Out of 6 beer listings, they had 2. The only wine they had was higher in the price range. The lasagna wouldn't be ready until 7:00. We were there at 6:00. I can make lasagna faster than that. The food we were able to order was delicious. It was really warm in the restaurant and they need more light so you can read the menu. We had to use our phone flashlight.

First let me start by saying Pizzeria Oliva pizza's are very good, I have eaten in their Col. La Florida restaurant a couple of times and last week took out pizza's. Now for the negative feedback. It's become apparent the owners put profits first before customer service. As a vegan I ordered a pizza, minus the cheese obviously. Instead of the cheese I asked if I could instead have a little extra topping of mushrooms. I was told this was not possible and that if I wanted extra mushrooms I would have to pay for it. The waiter explained he simply followed instructions from the owner(s) and that if he had a little free rein he would give me extra mushrooms, it only seemed fair. So, to conclude, no to a few extra thinly sliced mushrooms instead of the Mozzarella and fontina cheese, I had to pay extra. During two previous sit-in visits to the restaurant I ordered red wine. On both occasions the measure of wine I was given has to be the smallest I've ever received in any restaurant in Merida. On one of those visits I had a second glass of wine and asked if I could have a more sensible measure, this time the pour was more acceptable. Finally, their menu price list on their website is outdated (it was on 18th February) You will be charged more than advertised if you're ordering a takeout, as we were, although we were told about the new increased prices when we phoned in our order. I can't comment on their sit-in menu pricing.

We got delivery from Oliva. Their pizza was just ok. We ordered the seafood pizza (Di Mare) and the Romana. When I compare Olivas to other pizza places, I see that Oliva pizzas are a bit smaller and they are not as generous with their toppings. Maybe that's just how they do their takeout/delivery orders don't know if dining in the restaurant would have been any different. There was barely any seafood on our Di Mare pizza which was kind of disappointing. The other pizza also was lacking in toppings + queso. Amaro, MadreMia y Piccolo have pizzas that are way more generous, large and rich. Same fancy toppings that Oliva has but they fill up their pizzas with those toppings not just sprinkle a few dregs.

We stopped in for dinner around 6:00 PM with another couple. This time it was a lot different than the first time we were there. It was great then but no so much this time. We wanted to order a bottle of wine but they didn't have any of the ones we wanted. All they had were bottles that cost 1500 to 2000 pesos a bottle. When we got ready to order our food everyone placed their order. The waiter came back to me and said the lasagna would no be ready until 7:00 PM. I had to change my order. Not sure we will go back when there are so many places like that to choose from.

Worst service ever. There were 8 of us but only six got their pizzas at the same time. Contact with the waiters was impossible to get. We had to ask for the remaining pizzas and got them when all others had already finished their pizzas. We got no apology or anything.
