Lucky Fins - Meridian

We stopped by for brunch when we discovered that they had one. It was amazing!The food is plentiful and extremely fresh! I highly recommend it. 1/31/26- Tonight was date night. We booked a table on Open Table. We were seated almost immediately. The chowder was ok. But the lemon caper Mahi was fabulous. I will definitely have that again!!!

Why go anywhere else? Let’s start with lobster stuffed deep fried avocado and lobster tater tots. Clam chowder and salad with citrus dressing. Cedar plank salmon and Fins platter. Key lime tart ice cream and berry cobbler ( not pictured)

Yum. Great service and food. Scarfed down the tender calamari appetizer before we could get a photo. Shrimp tacos and flank steak salad were delicious!

Delicious I had the french toast definitely, I must try. My friends had mango sushi and surf and turf sushi they loved it too

I just discovered this place a few weeks ago, $115 got me my moneys worth! Definitely will be coming back again. The staff was quick and very helpful and don’t forget to try the espresso martini! Oh my lord!! 1000/10 highly recommended!!

I had the side lobster Mac and cheese and kickin shrimp. Both were amazing. Looking forward to coming back again to try out other menu items

I absolutely love this place. Happy Hour they have a buy one roll and get one half off. The avocado stuffed with lobster appetizer is so good. I love their sushi. I haven't had a bad meal there. Both locations are great.

Again found an amazing and wonderful place to eat and conduct business... Food was exceptional and service was top notch!!! I ate to much due to the how good things were!!! Thank you for such a great meal!!! Don't hesitate to try this place out!!!! Oh and if you like a sweet super bomb drink ask for a peach bum..... Those tacos thou OMG!!!!

This was a great experience. Excellent service. Food and drinks came so fast. The sushi was great and flavorful. They served actual ginger and a horseradish base wasabi. The fish tacos were so good. Fish was amazing. The Fin Platter was also exceptional. My favorite sauce was the one that was a touch spicy. Tartar sauce tasted home made. It was so good. We went on a Monday at lunch time. Not very busy but that was no indication of quality. This is added to my Top 5 in the Treasure Valley. Will definitely frequent this place many more times.

Excellent restaurant! Sushi, salads, ahi and the chowder tasted delicious. Comfortable booths and nice atmosphere. Will be back!

My wife and I visited Lucky Fins in Meridian, Idaho on our wedding anniversary. We chose to sit at the bar for drinks and dinner, and since we arrived a little early, it was still fairly quiet. Our bartender, Courtney, welcomed us right away, introduced herself, and let us know she’d be taking care of us. Because it wasn’t too busy, we even got to chat with her a bit—she’s the one in the photo I posted. Overall, the evening was pleasant and memorable. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service truly exceeded our expectations. Courtney even made my wife a custom chocolate martini that she absolutely loved. We left with great memories of our anniversary and are looking forward to coming back—especially for another dinner at the bar.

We had a very relaxing dinner with an amazingly attentive waitress and perfectly prepared food. The California roll was filling and delicious. They offer items for the non seafood lover too, so there are options for everyone. The menu is gluten-free, so a major plus! Our waitress was wonderfully attentive and kept our coffee topped off with a smile. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. There is a full bar and many drink options. Parking is plentiful and close to the restaurant.

Man, this sushi spot is so good, it's almost *criminal*. Seriously, if your pops tasted this, he'd probably lock you in your room just so he could sneak back here for seconds... and thirds! 'Best sushi ever' isn't even the half of it. We're talkin' next-level deliciousness. And the person makin' this magic? Forget calling 'em a chef, that's the *Sushi Boss* in the house! They're slingin' the good stuff like it's goin' out of style. Go get yourself some, just maybe don't tell your dad... unless you're ready for a sushi showdown!" 😄🍣

I love this restaurant. The fish tacos are my favorite, but it’s all good! The deserts are amazing esp. the brownie! Good drinks, good service and nice atmosphere. It’s close to shopping and freeway access.

OMGosh! Where do I begin?! First, our server, Julio, was fabulous; attentive, sociable, and made excellent recommendations. Second, the menu is outstanding. But don't be fooled, the portions are HUGE! The food is excellent! We had the mussels/clams and Brussels/cauliflower starters. The broth prepared for the mollusks was really incredible - so much buttery, garlicky goodness. Yummm. The starters are very large and great for sharing. This would have been enough, but... We also ordered the Unicorn Sushi (pic) and daily special Parmesan crusted halibut (pic). Both were phenomenal and also very large. We ended up taking leftovers to enjoy the next day. Highly, highly recommend. So good!!

Ordered take out and it was delish!!! It is not cheap but it's good food. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Staff still wore mask, which is really good, IMO. 2nd TO order 1 of the best shrimp scampi I've had so as the calamari!

This place was delicious!!! From the apps to dessert you gotta try it. Oysters 10/10 Julio in the bar was great and answered all our questions, can't wait to come back

The side of lobster mac was very generous and some of the best I've had. Service was friendly all around.

YUM. Munched this whole bowl in like 5 min, their sushi is fire too. We also got pretty much every app on the menu, all of them are a 10/10, ESPECIALLY the coconut shrimp.

This is one of my go to restaurants. I love the location and easy to access parking. I've had many meals here and am almost always completely satisfied with my experience. Their fish is just as good as more expensive restaurants and the desserts are fabulous as well. Took my Mom here for early mother's day dinner and it did not disappoint. Our server was new, but did a fantastic job and was very friendly and engaging! We loved him!

Customer service was excellent, and our waitress was very attentive. The food was served hot and fresh, with great flavor. The only distraction was a bit loud, so the atmosphere was not intimate.

The food was fantastic. Happy hour was a plus! We can't say enough great things about the lobster avocado, lobster tator tots and Mango Tango roll. The Avid Huckleberry cider was icing on the cake. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Lucky fins was wonderful. The service was incredible and the food was amazing. We tried their sushi, mixed drinks, the salmon, and our kiddo tried their mac n cheese. They were all amazing. The atmosphere was great, seating was quick, and the food was ready very quickly. We stopped in for dinner and we're super happy with everything!

We were the first ones seated at brunch at 10. Went on a Sunday whim. I love bloody Mary's but I worry if they'll be good. It was awesome. Had the prime rib shaved skillet and wife had the lobster Benedict. That was the best Hollandaise I've had in town actually. You could taste the butter AND the lemon which I feel comes from them making it in house. Pretty awesome random find. We will be back!

I have been coming to this location since 2019. Excellent customer service and food. Ashley, M.J. and Robyn. So friendly and nice. You do not get great customer service anymore unfortunately. Keep up the great work. It is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your response.

Bar staff were fun, wait staff was great but a bit slow, food was great, had seared Ahi and Scallops, calamari appetizers,shrimp tacos, and the lucky platter. Tacos were perfect, calamari was fried perfectly, Asian wasn't really seared and not even 1 full scallop on the plate. Platter was great and drinks were awesome. Would not recommend the Ahi but stick with the Tacos

The calamari was very nice with a nice dipping sauce. My salmon was very tasteful. Hubby's meal was fantastic. Even our kid's little meal of shrimp and fries was great! Unfortunately, our server was very forgetful which put a damper on the entire night. Forgot several drink orders that we never did end up receiving.

I had a sushi roll there, but it wasn't that great. I will go again and try something different. I did also try the brussels sprouts and cauliflower, and it was absolutely amazing!

Overall it’s nice to have the sushi and other food type options. Really a menu for all types of pallets. A little pricy but in general good food. Never had bad service either.

A great stop just outside the busy Village crowd. The drinks are strong and great pairing for their happy hour 2-6. (Bottomless mimosas from open-2pm. The lobster stuffed avocado is AMAZING!!!! A MUST!! The sushi rolls are great quality as well, very big and filling. Fresh and GREAT TASTING. And the presentation is top notch. BOGO half off sushi!! Happy hour. I ordered the unicorn and Tiger. Wife got the Mango one and another that was fried (biggest one). Military discount unknown. Trailer parking on street perhaps.

My only beef is that I ordered fish and chips and it was delicious but they only served two pieces of fish! They should call it chips and fish because you get way more chips than fish. If you have to charge a little more at least serve three pieces. Other than that the food was delicious. It may be petty but that’s how I feel. Make me feel like I got my money’s worth.

Not the experience we had hoped for. Service was really lacking and not very friendly. Our server must have had more tables than she could keep up with, as most of our food was served by other wait staff. One server was visibly irritated and our actual server never checked on our table at all, other than to bring us the check. While my food was very good (I had the Sunset Salad), the Hot Chick sandwich which was also ordered by our table, was not appetizing in taste or looks. A second beverage had to be requested twice, and it was still never received. Overall, my main disappointment with our visit falls with the service. Customer service means just what the title states, and it was definitely lacking the night we visited. Undecided if I would give it second chance.

This was unfortunately a bit of a let down for us. We had heard such wonderful things and the menu looked incredible. First things first our server was incredible and very attentive. No issue with the service. However the food was pretty disappointing. We ordered 3 sushi rolls, the El Diablo, the Spicy Tuna, and a California roll. I know this isn’t a sushi restaurant, but the rolls lacked texture and overall flavor. The salmon and halibut dishes were gorgeous, but both were overcooked. The halibut was severely overcooked. The rice with the halibut was undercooked and hard. The side dishes with the salmon were well executed and delicious. For the market value of the halibut, it turned out to be a $38 dish which was a huge bummer. Overall, the price we paid for the quality of the meal was a miss.

I recently revisited Lucky Fins in Meridian. In the past, I’ve been to the original location, which is the one in Meridian, as well as the one in downtown Boise, which has since closed. There is also a location in Greeley, Colorado. We started with an appetizer of Kickin’ Shrimp ($15) - Crispy shrimp tossed in a sweet and spicy honey-chipotle sauce, served with a side of ranch and a lime wedge. Similar to Bonefish Grill’s Bang Bang Shrimp, but uniquely its own, this isn’t excellent appetizer! If you like spicy shrimp, it’s worth visiting for this dish alone. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos ($15) - Tempura battered and fried Arctic cod with shredded cabbage, chipotle aïoli, pickled onions, cojita, and micro cilantro. Served with cilantro lime rice, lime wedges, and choice of salsa. The fish tacos were bland and flavorless. I didn’t realize until I started to write this review that they came with a choice of salsa, but I don’t think that would’ve made much of a difference. I liked the cilantro lime rice. MW ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon ($29) - Center cut, grilled Arctic salmon on Northwest Cedar plank, seasoned with Rocky Mountain meat and fish rub, loaded smashers, grilled asparagus, charred lemon. MW liked the salmon dish, but would opt for something a little more interesting next time. For dessert, we shared Bourbon Bread Pudding, which came topped with ice cream ($10). It was good. The ambience and service were excellent!

We headed in tonight for dinner, a pre celebration for my husband's birthday. Our friend did show up first. He got us a bar table and chilled till we got there. I'm surprised our server didn't greet and or get a drink started for him. I guess the server in me will always question why a server would justleave thier guest just sitting there without greeting them. We finally showed up. It did take a minute for our server to get to us. After drinks were dropped off we just sat there and waited. After our server finally had time for us, we got some soup started. Surprised she didn't grab our dinner orders at the same time so we just went with the flow. It did take a while for it pre made soups to be brought out. We worked on our soups and again, waited for our server to get dinner orders placed. For dinner tonight, I got the honey chipotle glazed salmon with only veggies. They always deliver a good meal. This is one of my go to dinners here. The piece of fish I got was hearty. The glaze had a nice amount of heat and the sweet from the honey compliments the the chipotle. The asparagus was charred and cooked nicely. I finished the whole thing. It was fabulous. My sweet husband did get a birthday dessert. And his friend also got a sweet treat as well. Both desserts were fantastic! The apple cobbler was nice and hot. You can taste the cinnamon. The ice cream on top added a nice creaminess to the dessert. My friend got the skillet brownie with a huge scoop of ice cream on top. Of course I had to take one for the team and have a couple bites. The brownie was chocolatey and soft. Ice cream is always a great addition to any dessert. Both desserts were a great way to end our dinner. Food is never the issue here. The last time we were here, I wasn't impressed with our visit. I was hoping that tonight's visit wasn't the case but service didn't deliver tonight. We are actually coming back this Sunday so hopefully our server will be better than tonight's server.

It took us literally almost 50 minutes before we were seated. The noodle bowl ramen that I ordered is too salty for my taste. The rest of the food tasted just fine. It is just not worth the long wait though.

Great atmosphere. Poorly cooked food. Barely decent service. Overpriced for the quality of food. I hate talking poorly about a place, but it needs to be known. My husband & I both ordered the $45 dinner plate of Halibut over rice, with asparagus. I am NOT a picky person. But this Halibut must have been sitting forever after cooked & then thrown in the microwave to reheat, b/c I don't know how it's possible to make it the consistency of a dry chicken breast. Soooo dry! We both had this plate & they were equally terrible. The rice was good & it was beautifully plated. The asparagus needed a good 3 inches cut off the bottom as you couldn't bite through it. We would have expressed this to our server, but he rarely came by & when he did, he was very awkward & quick to brush off anything said. He also didn't know drinks at all & was of no help. It was clear he didn't care about our experience or satisfaction. So sad we chose this as the place to celebrate our anniversary...money down the drain.
