Crawfish was amazing. Recommend ordering by the pound. Our 2 lb bucket looked like the same size as the 1 lb. Alana was awesome. Super friendly and made sure our drinks were always full and that we had what we needed.

I entered razzos on a rather empty stomach, being sold by their cajun styled seafood, I entered alone on a thursday afternoon not knowing what to expect, the atmosphere was astounding and it looked beautiful so that already gave me high hopes, I instantly got attended to and was treated with the up most respect and gratitude by one of your hosts who introduced herself as "Paiton" she was very nice and cool and made me at home into the razzos family, must I say I was unsure what to pick but the host helped me by directing me to some fine dishes such as the stuffed flounder and your burgers, my goodness the stuffed flounder was exquisite and delicious it made my mouth melt, overall this experience was by far the greatest in all my time of going to restaurants, Paiton was awesome and service was fast. how glorious, however I was scared by a man claiming to be "otto the watchdog" when arriving there..

I love Razoos. I’ve never had a bad plate of food from them ever. I just wish there were more locations. Other than that an amazing place and I hope the parent company keeps you guys open.

Our hostess was paiton and our waitress was Carli we had no wait time very friendly and patient. Food was okay for the most part could’ve been a little bit more seasoned with flavor but otherwise pretty good.

Love this place! Always reliable to be great! I love the stuffed shrimp with garlic bread, their salads are also really good, always fresh and the ranch is super good. Love the boudin balls too, especially for $1 each during happy hour.. The portions are big and the prices are good. Everyone that works here is so friendly and the service is great. We have never had a bad experience with either the food or service at any razzoos location. Kid friendly, good vibes, great food. One of my top favorite restaurants for sure.

Razzoos is by far our favorite restaurant! And the Mesquite location is without question the best of all the locations we’ve visited. They have an outstanding manager, Fred, who actually enjoys moving from table to table checking in with customers. Not to mention the great staff who open the door for everyone, and do a great job serving top quality, delicious Cajun food - with a smile!

I haven’t been to a Razzoo’s in about 4 years and I don’t remember the food being THIS good??? Ordered a catfish basket and almost everything was good especially the fries. I ended up asking for a lot while eating and my server Karyme was very patient with me and got all of my questions answered. My friend & I definitely will be coming back here to eat. If you like Cajun cuisine this is a must stop! Fun decor, lovely atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and the food was DELICIOUS!!! We started with the Cajun fondue which was absolutely fire!! Then we had the stuffed flounder (pro tip…order extra lemon butter sauce…you’ll thank me!) and the stuffed chicken. Both were so, so good. Portions were BIG and we both left happily STUFFED with boxes to go. This is a must try!!

First timers here! Food and atmosphere is great! Simple food done and seasoned perfectly! So much flavor you can only get here. Jaiden was our server tonight and my husband and I are very satisfied with his excellent service! He recommended dishes for us and made us feel like we were talking to a good friend. Haven't been to a Razoo's for a while, so we thought we'd stop in since we were nearby. Our waitress was great! We had a really good meal, and the food was better than we remembered. Started with the fried pickles, and the Boudin Balls were so good too. Loved the stuffed flounder. My son had the chicken fried steak. Both were really tasty. We recommend especially if you like that Southern fried spicy flavor.

So my friend and I decided to go out to lunch and we chose Razzos because I used to eat there a lot when I lived in Irving and haven't tried this location since I moved back to Mesquite so I was exited. We were greated and seated pretty quickly when we got there... our waitress Molly was very sweet but here is where the problems started happening... she had asked about drinks but we ordered water first to have before we ordered because we had been out running errands... that was brought out and we put our orders in for our food and then our drinks next...he had ordered a large draft beer and I ordered a margarita on the rocks half dressed...now Molly was busy but she seemed to pay more attention to a party going on in the front corner so she worked it pretty good because of the possibility of getting a good tip .. understandable but we suffered because of it... our food finally came out by another waitress and she went to get us catsup and salt and pepper...Molly came by and said that she was going to get our drinks and she ended up at that groups table again... my friend was getting upset because he wanted his cold beer to go with his hot food but that wasn't happening...we even noticed others getting a second and 3rd round but still nothing for us... my friend went to the bar and asked them about our drinks and was told that my margarita was ready but they had to wait for the waitress to pour it... my friend came back to the table and told me and said that my drink had a lot of water on top from the ice melting...we started eating and when she finally came back around my friend said to just cancel our drinks...now onto the food...we both ordered the fish and shrimp basket and I got the salad with Italian and he substituted his salad for gumbo... I ended up getting ranch for my salad instead of the Italian I ordered so I should of ordered red beans and rice instead of the salad I didn't eat... the fish (2 catfish strips) was really good and I'm not a catfish fan but it definitely didn't have a heavy catfish flavor and well seasoned... the shrimp (3 of them) the breading while had great flavor it was fried pretty hard... the hush puppies was crunchy on the outside but the inside had no flavor and tasted like a mushy bunch of cornmeal paste so we didn't eat them...he enjoyed his gumbo... I felt really bad because I don't like getting anyone in trouble but I was embarrassed and had to keep apologizing to my friend because I suggested Razzos since he wanted fish and I suggested that we eat there and it was his first time eating here and all this happens... very disappointed... Good food. Cool atmosphere. Mardi Gras Shrimp wasn’t my fave. Simple shrimp wrapped in bacon. The shrimp salad was Awesome ! The burgers are a nice size. Drink specials are fair. Fried pickles are good as well! Fish is very think and small pieces.

I hardly done out anymore, but I met a friend at Razoo's Cajun Restaurant. We were promptly seated by the hostess and promptly greeted by our server. I could tell she was a little overwhelmed when she asked us for drinks, but we both agreed to just get water now and then order drinks when she was ready for us. We ordered drinks and they came out quick. We then asked to give us five minutes for look over the menu. When she came back, she presented a 2 For $20 Dinner special. She mentioned it was an app and an entree. So, my friend ordered that. She then asked what was the second entree. We thought it was just one entree? She then tried to explain it again. She confused us even more. Finally, my friend ordered two entrees and an appetizer. I was confused, so I ordered an appetizer and an entree. When our meal came out, I had two entrees and my friend had two entrees and an appetizer. She put in the wrong items for me, so I decided to not make her take it back and throw the food away since it was already cooked. We had WAY MORE FOOD than we needed. My friend got charged the $20 for two entrees and an appetizer. I got charged $34 for two entrees. All in all, the food was good. The service was not good. I paid WAY more than I should have paid.

Stopped in for a late lunch. First bartender was attentive and good with customer service. Shift change and the next bartender didn't even stop by to ask if I would like another drink. Another customer came and sat down and he too was ignored. Finally he asked if anyone was working the bar. She was down at the end of the bar talking to her coworkers. I just asked for my bill, paid and left.

Normally love razzoos but I went on 2/23 for dinner and the food was not great. I got the zydeco pasta, and it was so watery, greasy and bland. Not creamy like it usually is . Husband got green beans and they were very bland. Our server also took forever to greet us, we had to have another server greet us and take our drink order and he was great. It was for our anniversary dinner and we were very disappointed. The little bit of pasta I ate made me sick that night as well.

Service was the main issue. Our server was kind, but it took about 10 minutes to be greeted and over 25 minutes before we had waters. We ordered everything at once, but our appetizer arrived before any drinks (water included), and we had to ask another server for water. She had finally came out with them right before he did. By the time our food and bar drinks came (nearly the same time), we’d been there about 40 minutes, and had only seen our server twice. We watched a manager tell a family he was taking care of something since they were first timers (pretty cool). Then watched him check on every single sourrounding table, EXCEPT ours. Didn't even make a big deal, as we were ready to leave by then, waiting to cash out. Love Razzoo's, but we'll probably stick to a different location.
