Amazing honestly!! The vibes were great the food was pretty good and the music was just the right vibe. Iara and andrea was our server and one was a manger I believe but they made sure we was good and helped us bring in my girls birthday so thank yall!! Truly an amazing experience.

Such a beautiful spot with amazing vibes! The decor is gorgeous, the music was on point, and the service made the whole experience feel elevated but still fun. We started with a couple cocktails (the Dragon Berry Sidecar and Strawberry Lemon Drop—both SO good), and then had the Caesar and Cobb salads which were super fresh and flavorful. For mains, we tried the petite filet and the sweet chili glazed salmon—and let me just say, I don’t usually love salmon but this one completely changed my mind. It was perfectly cooked and not fishy at all. Everything came out beautifully plated and the atmosphere just tied it all together. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

From the security outside to the manager Lara greeting us the service was amazing we got sat to our seats and our server Andrea was so attentive and amazing

I had the jerk chicken pasta, baked mac & cheese, and those calamari rings—and let me tell you, every bite was a home run. The jerk pasta had the perfect balance of spice and creaminess, the mac & cheese was rich and bubbly comfort food, and the calamari rings were golden-crispy with just the right kick. And seriously, the plating was stunning—each dish looked as good as it tasted. The vibe was very chill, nice ambience to it. My table’s waiter John was very well mannered and carried out our orders to a T. Absolute, above and beyond service.

Came for date night and it didn’t disappoint. Everything about our dinner was exceptional. We tried the spicy shrimp apps, ribeye, jerk pasta, and Mac….All really good. Would definitely come back. They have a 90 mins time limit on the tables, but you can move over to the bar if there’s a seat.

I had lunch here yesterday and it was a great experience. They have a $28 lunch menu. The menu has great options on it for every palate.Everything I had was 10/10. The service the vibes and the food. It is very rare for restaurant to meet all those standards. I highly recommend this one. I’m definitely coming back and bringing friends and or family for this lunch experience.

First I must say the ambiance of the restaurant is AMAZING!! THE FOOD DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The DJ and server was great as well. They even have a photographer which was a nice touch, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because. When it was time to pay the bill, we were not given an itemized receipt? Now I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but, bringing a device and saying this is your TOTAL, is not how you present someone with their bill. How do I know that my bill is accurate. I will be emailing them about this as well.,

If you’re looking for a place that has immaculate vibes plus a great food, check out Playa in Miami Beach. Reservations is highly recommended. We made our reservations online, and when we arrive, we were taken on time for our reservation. The host and waitresses were very friendly and nice. Playa has great music playing all night long. They also have dancers on stilts that walk around the restaurant. I ordered the electric lemonade, and it was a perfect blend of sweetness and tart. We also ordered the tempura sushi and pork bao bun which were amazing. The softness of the bao bun with the tenderness of the pork belly paired well. we didn’t order the tiger paws with the pear salad, which was very filling and packed with flavor. Playa is a great place for birthdays, parties, etc.. You really get the Miami feel when you’re in this restaurants. I can’t wait to come back to Playa to enjoy more of their food, drinks, and enjoy the ambience of the night.

I went solo on a weekday at like 10pm so there were only a few people there. I walked in & got sat immediately. It’s cute inside, but a little rundown especially the seats. The music was too loud for conversation, definitely gave club instead of lounge but it was a vibe. My server was nice. I ordered lemon drops & jerk shrimp pasta. Expensive, but sooo good!

When my husband and I arrived, we were under the impression that the restaurant was closed because it was dark inside, and there was no one to greet us at the door upon our arrival. Once inside, we stood at the front for a good while before anyone came over to greet and seat us. The female who eventually came over, asked if we had a reservation; which we did. However Im unsure why it would have made a difference because the restaurant only had two other patrons inside and remained empty up until we were about to leave. Once seated, so many different staff interacted with my husband and I that we didn't know who would be servicing our table. I ordered the salmon, which is supposed to come with 2 sides. However we were told they had neither and my salmon would be served with broccoli. My husband ordered the steak, macaroni and mashed potatoes... only to be told they didn't have any mashed potatoes. When the food came out we were quite disappointed with the lack there of. In all honesty, we go out to eat on a consistent basis and I must say that I've never received such a small portion of food as I did at Playa. I was done with my salmon in a few bites. Both the salmon and broccoli were salty. After dinnner I don't typically order desert, but because my dinner portion was so small, we requested a dessert menu. We were then told that the only option was plain cheesecake. We tried to make the best of it, as it was my husbands birthday and didn't want to ruin the night. However, I truly feel like there is more emphasis placed on the aesthetics of the restaurant than it is on service and the food quality. Lastly, after paying the bill and arriving home I realized that I was never credited the $50 that I was initially charged to make the dinner reservation. This entire experience was an epic fail. Definitely won't be taking the 45 plus minute drive back to Miami for a second take. Update: I was credited my $50 after the fact. We may reconsider revisiting and giving Playa a second try ❤️🙏🏽

The reason I rated the way I did is because the food was not to my expectations I thought it was be better it was ok I could make it at a backyard Bbq the vibe was amazing though. The music the atmosphere was great. But the service was not the best. The website and what they tell you are different and the person who took my friends order was rude

I recently dined at a local restaurant and had a mixed experience. The service was commendable, but my primary concern lies with the pricing and food quality in relation to the cost. Firstly, the Mac and Cheese, priced at $19, was underwhelming. Despite its cost, it lacked a distinctive flavor and was overly mushy. Similarly, the Truffle Mac, also mushy with excessive oil, didn't meet expectations. Interestingly, another diner's same dish tasted better and less oily, indicating inconsistency. The Sweet & Spicy Wings, though tasty, seemed overpriced at $28 for just six wings. This trend of high prices for small portions continued with the Zucchini & Eggplant and Sushi Tempura, priced at $19 and $21 respectively. While these dishes were enjoyable, the quantity didn't justify the cost. Moreover, charging for tap-like water felt unreasonable. The most startling aspect was the $25 service charge, which is unusually high compared to other Miami restaurants I've visited. This charge seemed excessive and not in line with the restaurant's offerings. Lastly, the restaurant's ambiance didn't align with its luxury aspirations. Its small size and design felt more akin to a cheap club than an upscale dining venue. Overall, while the service was good, the high prices, inconsistent food quality, and ambiance didn't deliver a value-for-money experience.

Overall I recommend going. It’s expensive but great atmosphere, sexy people, and large portions. Good: Standouts were chicken wings and flavored lemonades. Disappointments: bland calamari & truffle pasta, cold oysters with several broken shell pieces. Pros: Great atmosphere; we choose to dine outdoors but inside was more like a club/lounge both were nice just different vibes. Quality food and tasty food. Decent size portions. Restaurant photographer took our photos and we receive a free group one and each individual picture was $20 and came in a beautiful frame. Cons: Bland food; my friends liked theirs but I felt almost everything needed salt. Mediocre service; our server was nice but seemed high and got several small things wrong with our order. Nothing too major except he charged one person’s card twice and one of the charges was for a totally different order. When we went back we spoke to manager who reversed charge but was unapologetic and had a lot of excuses. While we waited outside 30 minutes for manager security guard approached me and asked if I had heels (I was wearing sandals). I said we weren’t going inside and asked why he asked me. He said he’s just doing his job but then let 4 casually dressed women who all had on flats (flip flops and sneakers) in without saying anything. When I asked why he let them in he didn’t have an answer. I brought this up to manager who was full of excuses again. I won’t come back because of that alone.

The wait time for the food was long c compared to other places in Miami. Also the food was just ok but pricey in comparison. We went on a Sunday so it wasn't crowded or busy. The presentation for the fish was 👌🏽The music was giving club vibes.

Place wasn't very full maybe three other people but it still took a long time for the food to come out... our server was just gone way too long and every time we look towards the front everybody's just by the bar on their phones....at one point I had to get up and start walking towards her to get their attention..came here for my birthday. .. the food wasn't terrible but the price does not match

Ordered 2 baked mac and cheese with steak and lamb chops. Asked for both to be medium and they came out well done and flavorless. Mac and cheese were okay. Steak said it came with the bone which was a lie. The wait time was an hour plus. The music was loud it was impossible to communicate. The restaurant was dirty but they played good music. 224 dollars for everything I feel robbed.

I don’t even know where to start and I do not understand how this place has a 4.2 ratings. The only good thing about this place was the service, everyone was super nice from the host and bouncer, to the waitress. The food was HORRIBLE! you expect fine dining from the menu and especially the pricing, the atmosphere was horrible, the music was very loud even though it was a Wednesday and it was pretty much empty, we had hair in the fried rice, the shrimps that were shown on the menu were jumbo shrimp and I’m not even sure what we received is called shrimps, most of the items on the menu were not available, there was oil on the bottom of the mac and cheese, and the wings were super sour and dry despite the sauce. I wouldn’t recommend this place for the life of me, there are way better options in Miami Beach or even on Lincoln Rd.

I heard great things about this place so I came for dinner. Absolutely terrible experience. The menu was very pricey but I went prepared for that and I don’t mind expensive. I love paying the price for a great culinary experience, but the food was just awful. I got the lamb chops, I asked for medium and it came well done and on top of the toughness it was extremely bland, absolutely no flavor. I had a side of mashed potatoes with that which was just as bland and flavorless. My wife got the lobster mac and cheese which was dry and the lobster was overcooked and not edible. She also had the spicy maple bourbon wings and all she got was the wings. There was no spice, no maple and no bourbon. Bland and tasteless just like everything else. Now let’s talk about the service-as you’d expect—terrible! Our waitress never came to our table to check on us for over an hour. I wanted another drink and had to wait 1 hr 15 mins to get another one. When she finally checked on us I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food and made it clear I wasn’t fishing for a discounted meal and just wanted to make it known that the food is terrible. She said she would let the chef know. The bill came and nothing was taken off. I did say this wasn’t the goal but damn paying $330 for food we didn’t eat or enjoy is a bit wild. Not even an apology was given. The ambience was great so we tried to make the best of it by singing along to the great music. They have the vibe on 10 so maybe they should just stick to being a club/lounge and leave the food alone.

This restaurant is poorly managed, terrible service and work with no sense of urgency. We waited more than 1 hour for food, they kept asking if we’d like drinks to distract us from the fact that the food is not prepared in a timely manner. Our food finally came out and we were offered shots as compensation to distract us from the terrible service! Management wasn’t willing to do anything to solve these issues, instead they gave the chef remove our plates without asking! This is honestly very disappointing considering their reputation online. Please do not book any reservations for special occasions, plan for errors if you are going to eat here!

Stole from me & overcharged my card & many other customers are victims! I’ve been here multiple times. And decided to go in September ! I left a tip in cash and carried on. I order the fried Oreos, and Mac & cheese. My bill was about $22-$24. I just discovered they charged me $40! I seen a TikTok video from a former employee , saying they don’t pay workers and they were encouraged to steal from customers. A woman in the comments said she was overcharged. I instantly went to my bank statement and seen that these bozos, and bartender, OVERCHARGED ME. Which is very bold move with the simple fact that these ppl are stealing and have the audacity to still work where they’re still accessible! They charged my card shy of $40! Now i need to check my statements from the last time I went! You people will eventually be shut down if you keep on scamming people! You’re scamming the wrong ones! Time stamps on photos Lying about the cost of items, is never okay. Can’t even show me a solid receipt. Was going to delete but the google review response is backhanded and insincere. Your employees aren’t getting paid, but you scamming ppl ! Good luck!

Well from the looks of the instagram page you’d think this was an upscale restaurant. And from the prices on the limited menu you would think the same. NO. Soon as we walked I’m fof my wife’s bday, it smelled like a basement. Having to pay for reservations I thought we was entering a nice place. The food was terrible as well. The prices on the menu was too high. Seeing it’s Miami and they get a lot of tourists attention the prices didn’t surprise me. But don’t be fool by the instagram post they make, the food doesn’t look nothing like it and the place seats have hella hookah burns in them. Id take big pink over this place any day.

My experience at your restaurant on Valentine’s Day. I understand it was a busy evening; however, the service I received was unacceptable. After being seated, I was informed that I could not order from the regular menu and was limited to a 3-course Valentine’s menu with only two entrée options. I was also told I could not order appetizers and could only have drinks while waiting for the entrée. I placed my order and received a Caesar salad as my starter. After waiting over an hour and a half for my entrée, I observed multiple tables — who had been seated before me — receiving appetizers, lamb chops, steaks, and lobster from the regular menu. When I questioned the waiter, he stated the regular menu had “just reopened,” which did not align with what I had observed. I then asked how much longer my food would take, and he said he would check, Due to the loud music, I could barely hear him, and when he leaned in to repeat himself, it was apparent he had been drinking. After another 30 minutes with no update, I asked another server for assistance because I could not locate my waiter. When I later spotted him, he saw me and walked in the opposite direction. I then requested the check. He placed it on the table and walked away without collecting payment. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, he still did not return. I ultimately had to go to the host stand to ask how to pay, and a waitress at the bar assisted me in closing out my tab. This level of service was unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I see why this establishment has a 2 star on open table And yelp

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Never coming back to this place. Our reservation was at 10:45pm we got there on time order our food and it took them 3 HOURS to serve our food and when the food arrived to our table by 1:30am we weren't even hungry anymore and that jerked pasta was not edible was WAY TO SPICY that got us sick and they didn't have the desserts that shows on menu. All the menu is overpriced...

I came on monday 11/17/2025 for my birthday & it was terrible. Everything we tried to order wasn’t available, this included the jerk chicken pasta, steak egg rolls, beef ramen soup, chicken, and i believe a couple of other things. We ended up leaving to find a new restaurant. What’s even crazier is that I initially wanted to make a reservation since it was supposed to be a bigger party and I was told i would’ve had to make a $500 deposit, imagine making a $500 deposit and this restaurant didn’t even have any food when we came. ridiculous!

I went to Playa on a Tuesday night for my birthday. The worst idea. We didn’t have a reservation but the place was practically empty. We asked for a booth the said no… okay. We sat in the middle tables. The music was very loud, we couldn’t hear each other. There’s no TVs so we just was looking around. The music was okay. The drinks… waiter too so long I didn’t even want to order a drink but I did… $24 for a lemon drop. Okay. The food was TERRIBLE !!! They didn’t have short ribs which is okay.. but baby The “jerk” chicken pasta was bland. NO jerk NO peppers for color but noodles and sauce. And I’m Jamaican… yeah that was a heck no The chicken that was suppose to be like rotisserie chicken, no seasoning no sauce NOTHING the chicken tasted like they didn’t finished cooking it they just steamed it and forgot the sauce 😂. Why would you all ever serve those dishes if you’re not going to put out quality food. Bill was over $100 and I didn’t even feel compelled to leave a tip. Service was mid. The restaurant is over hyped in my eyes. I finished my drink and just took the food. Very nice inside but the food was not it.
