Shula's Steak House - Miami Beach - Permanently Closed

The service was great and the food very good - although there was a lot of it. It is a dark atmosphere but my family enjoyed it and it was a pleasant experience.

Pricey enough but Good Service ( maybe a non rushed night?) and food. Servers/waiters attentive. They make sure they get your buck but overall an enjoyable experience!

Took to long receive our food. Steak was under cooked. We asked for simple items for our meal which we didn't receive. For example ketchup for the truffle fries. server didn't really check up on us and was forget full. One gentleman made eye contact when we asked for him and walked away. Also, constantly asking for things repeatedly. Overall very disappointing how things went. Very unsatisfied.

FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY!!! Macaroni is milky. STEAK IS UNSEASONED. THE LAMB PORTERHOUSE IS HORRIBLE. I wish I could give ZERO stars.. Please STAY AWAY. I've never complained about an entire dinner. I told the waiter to get the manager, Manager said he'd compensate me with 30% off the dinner. They then removed all entrees from my table. When i explained that I didn't even eat 10% of my food.. Another manager came n removed the steak off my bill but left the lamb which I only had one bite and left the milky Mac n cheese on the bill & also added the 30% BACK ON THE BILL. This place is a joke. They could've at least gave me the nasty food to go if they were still going to charge me for it. The bill wasn't the issue, Me and my wife left the restaurant very hungry. WISH I COULD'VE WENT TO ANOTHER RESTAURANT. Ruined valentines dinner for 2016!!!

I bought a Shula's gift certificate for my daughter and her fiancée. He had just returned from Afghanistan after being away for 8 months and I thought this would be a great welcome home present. I was wrong. I was embarrassed when I heard about the food. To summarize, the steak was bad and the shrimp was overcooked and the sides were cold. Suffices to say they left the majority of their food on plate. Their total bill was $190.00, which at a Bern's Steakhouse (Tampa), and Abe & Louie's (Boca), Capital Grill (Ft Lauderdale) and restaurants of that ilk is standard, was way overpriced for the sub-standard fare that quite frankly could have been served at a Chili's or Applebee's. I have been to a few of the Shula's restaurants, some more than a few times and have not had a bad experience, but here's the clincher: I wrote Shula's regarding the disappointing dinner on 9/20/2010 and as of today, 10/14/2010 haven't heard back, not even any type of promise to improve, give them another chance or apology. The message I got from this experience is that Shula's new business model is to gouge at your wallet the first time because they don't care if you come back. It's a shame that Shula's tries to play in a market they're obviously outclassed in by most steakhouses.
