Tip: The restaurant can get very busy, especially on Good Friday, so be prepared to wait. Monica at the counter is highly recommended for excellent service.

I came here the last time I was in Miami and I have been thinking about this meal ever since. It was even better than I remembered this time around. This place is an absolute gem and definitely worth stopping by. It's everything you want in a seafood restaurant.
My wife my son and I want to recognize ms.Monica for a outstanding excellent customer service she provides all the time we have dinner at the restaurant thank you so much we love coming here and we love the excellent customer service she provides
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the two employees at the bar. Very welcoming & attentive. The food was refresh & tasteful. Service beyond 10/10. Masleidy was phenomenal we will come back again.
This place has amazing fish soup and fish sandwich, and the prices are amazing. Won't find a better deal anywhere in Miami for sure! The wait staff is very nice but they mainly speak Spanish. The menu is in English and Spanish so I'm sure you could look and point in a pinch. There is limited parking but you can find additional parking behind the building.
Nice homy restaurant deep south close to Doral. The food was great, the starting deep with crackers they give you will tell you are going to have a great experience, fresh fish for you to pick, great ceviche, and the soups are unreal. If you want to get fresh seafood, this is the place. If you are up north, get ready to drive by, and you will not be disappointed.
Just visited This iconic seafood spot after 20 years. I was blown away by the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Ask for Monica at the counter and definitely Order the Bacallao (cod) fritters & the Natilla with caramelo!! I would give 10 stars if I could!!
Amazing place to eat seafood 😋 great service and environment
I wish they have a 6 star option for this place! BEST seafood EVER hands down! I went with my family and we ordered a lot of food of the wide variety they offer. we test from each other's plate to compare the food quality and wow! The food here is simply amazing!! Now on top of it, our waitress was exceptionally nice, sweet, patient and she will go the extra mile to help you with your food choice. Her name is Teresa and I will make sure I ask for here every time we go there which from now on will be often based on our wonderful experience.
Probably the most unassuming but most delicious Cuban seafood restaurant in town. Locals are regulars and tourists always want to come back. The staff is super friendly and all the food was so fresh. Our family has been coming for over 30 years. This place is a true gem.
The owner is beautiful and is such a pleasure 🫶🏽 Love the food and vibes we will be back
When I think of Bahamas Fish Market I think of my childhood. My family used to dine at the one on SW 8th street quite frequently. If we weren't at Luis Galindo's Latin America, we were likely here. :D I remember eating plates full of fried anchovies (Look for "Mahua" by the pound on the menu), Pan con Minuta and Dolphin Fingers. The fries and tostones (fried plantains) have always been really good too. Nice and crispy. Walking in to this location for the first time last week really felt like home. I was overwhelmed with a sense of nostalgia. Although this is 1+a completely different location, it's almost identical to the other one. I almost felt like I had entered a time warp -in a good -everything was just as I remembewayred it. From the oceanlife art on the windows and interior walls, the paper menu placemats, the menu above the fish display case and the basket full of crackers. It was such a welcoming feeli ng. But even better than that was that it did NOT smell of fish (like some seafood places do) he moment you walk in. Such a plus! I'd really like to give the full 5 stars because this place is near and dear to my heart and although it was clean and the service was surprisingly GREAT, I just can't for these reasons: My Dolphin fingers were not the quality I like to eat (they were either a little gray inside from being fatty, or they were dry and overcooked) Also, the tartar sauce was too heavy on the cheap mayo and not enough relish and seasonings. The whole fried Snapper was tasty but not as good as it is at La Camaronera (probably because they score it at LC). I'll be back soon I'm sure and if this meal was just a fluke, I will update my review.

Great tasty food Mariana waiter excellent and extremely helpful With very good attitude The place is nice and clean Not Luxtury Over all recommend highly
I Had an excellent experience at Bahama Fish Market! Our waitress Lidia was absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and on top of everything .She made great recommendations and checked on me often. It’s rare to find such genuine, warm service these days. The food was delicious as always, but Lidia’s kindness stood out the most. We’ll definitely be back.
I went there a year ago after an event at the convention center. I was in the area and I knew exactly where I wanted to eat. My fish was fresh. They even brought it to the table to ask if I wanted that one. All the sides were so flavorful. I had more than enough food. It was clean, great service, and delicious food.
Food is great. But the seafood pasta has to much sauce. Service is great Monica was awesome and was always smiling and treated the family great. Would definitely come back thanks to her.
Chef Bradley Delgado recommended this place as a hidden gem for Cuban-style seafood in Miami, and he was right! I live in Chicago but was recently in South Florida visiting friends. I made a point of dining there last night. ¡Por Dios! It was everything and more. I speak Spanish fluently, so I was able to get great menu suggestions from the friendly staff. We started with crab empanadas: perfectly baked and bursting with stewed crabmeat. Then, onto the main dishes: sopón marinero -- a flavorful broth brimming with every type of seafood they have, and fried snapper: a whole fish perfectly done, with fresh flakiness that fills every forkful. I will definitely dine there every time I am in Miami!

I've been going to this place since I was a child, and I recently gone again to see how it was after 10 years, and let me tell you, it is still one of the best seafood places you will ever find. The food and atmosphere remains consistent and never disappoints. DELICIOUS! Btw I recommend the breaded red snapper filet.

This restaurant and fish market have been reliable standbys for years. With a simple marine decor, the main attractions of the menu consist of fresh and tasty fish and seafood dishes and soups served in large portions. The service has been consistently good with a typical Miami "feel."

Good place for seafood in the Kendall area. Nothing fancy but not a bad option in that neighborhood. Service was friendly, fast and courteous. Ambiance is very simple but clean.

prices on the fish have gone up and now they charge container fee! When is this going to stop !!
The atmosphere is very simple, nothing to write home about, but the food is fresh and excellent. Menu has a very large selection which includes some non-seafood selections. Service is very friendly.
Food is really good and plentiful. The service is good and fast. Not a very luxurious surroundings. The price is right.
Wanting to get an authentic Miami experience we were persuaded to go here by our Uber driver. The salmon was absolutely PERFECT. The snapper I can say I have had MUCH BETTER. It was fried way too hard for my liking. The sides were very blah especially the plantains. The rice had a coating on it that made it taste “different” Next time I’m going to be bold and try the dolphin fingers the waitress suggested that it was one of the most popular dishes

RAW FOOD ALERT!!!!! GO INSTEAD TO: DON CAMARON OR DISCO FISH… The fish that the waitress brought me was RAW inside. I told the waitress that it was raw and sent it back. The waitress fried, the same fish that was raw and brought it back. By this time, the fish was overcooked, and now tasted burnt. I told the waitress again. She proceeded to argue with me that the fish was overcooked because I sent it back. I told her again, that I sent it back because she brought me a fish that was RAW inside. The manager did nothing about the situation. They charged me for the raw and then burnt fish. I do not recommend this place. The customer service is horrendous. The fish may be raw inside!!!! BE CAREFUL!!!! And the manager has zero skills when it comes comes to customer service.

Nasty!! When I was eating my food, I suddenly noticed a WORM inside the rice. It was shocking and disgusting to realize that something like that had been mixed in with what I was eating. Finding a worm in food not only ruins your appetite but also raises concerns about food safety and hygiene. It made me question how the food was stored, prepared, or packaged before it reached my plate.
