Absolutely phenomenal experience at Bugatti Bistro! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The cozy vibe adds to the whole experience, and you can tell they put real heart into their food. Every dish was delicious and full of authentic Italian flavors—like a little trip to Italy with each bite. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the sauces were spot-on. And don’t even get me started on dessert, the perfect way to end the meal. If you’re looking for amazing Italian food in Coral Gables, Bugatti Bistro is the place to go!
Great Italian restaurant in Coral Gables. Been here a few times and food and service has always been good. Last time we had their Taste the Gables menu. They had a creme brulee on the menu and ran out (we LOVE their creme brulee), so they brought us something special. Staff is always great here and the food is thoughtful .
Bugatti Bistro: A Mixed Experience During Taste of the Gables Our recent visit to Bugatti Bistro for the "Taste of the Gables" fixed menu offered a mix of delightful culinary moments and a few minor hiccups. Let's start with the positives: the food was great overall. The bread served at the table was absolutely divine – truly some of the best I've had! The wine selection was also impressive, offering a good variety to complement the meal. I was particularly fortunate to snag the last order of meatballs as an appetizer, which were delicious. My salmon entrée was excellent, cooked perfectly, and the tiramisu for dessert was a fantastic way to end my meal. However, the restaurant was packed, which unfortunately seemed to impact the service. While the staff was doing their best, the sheer volume of diners appeared to slow things down considerably. A more significant issue was that some of my friends were unable to get certain items from the fixed menu because the kitchen had run out, specifically the popular meatballs and the cheesecake. This was a bit disappointing for those who missed out. Despite these minor issues, the quality of the dishes I did receive was undeniably high. Bugatti Bistro clearly has a talented kitchen, and while the "Taste of the Gables" event might have stretched their capacity, the core culinary offerings are strong. With a bit more attention to stock management during busy periods, it could easily be a five-star experience.
Bugatti Bistro: A Cozy Gem in Coral Gables My wife and I recently had dinner at Bugatti Bistro in Coral Gables, Florida, using gift cards from my brother-in-law. It's been a favorite spot of ours for years, so we were excited to visit again, especially on a Wednesday night—known for their famous lasagna. We made reservations, which turned out to be a good call since the place was pretty packed. Our server, Pablo, was friendly and helpful, walking us through the specials and making some great suggestions. My wife went for the lasagna, a dish that's become a Wednesday tradition due to its popularity. And it totally lived up to the hype—layers of meat, pasta, and cheese, with sauce on the side. I opted for the risotto with shrimp and Italian sausage, and it was just as good. For dessert, we shared the house-made ricotta cheesecake with raspberry sauce, which was a sweet ending to our meal. We washed it all down with Bugatti's house Chianti and Montepulciano wines, both of which were solid choices. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to save one of our gift cards for another visit. One of the best things about Bugatti Bistro is that you get excellent food and service without breaking the bank. It's definitely a place we'll keep coming back to.
"We gathered the whole chaotic clan at Bugatti in Coral Gables to celebrate Uncle Pedro's 90th, and let me tell you, the only thing richer than the Parmesan croutons was the family drama! My cousin swore his Minestrone had secret ingredients (he's still convinced it was the fountain of youth, given Uncle Pedro's spryness), The waiters, bless their patient souls, navigated our table like seasoned navigators charting a course through a particularly boisterous sea. Uncle Pedro, meanwhile, was holding court, regaling us with stories from the 1930s while simultaneously trying to sneak bites of everyone's Scaloppini di Pollo. The Tagliatelle alla Bolognese was so good, even my usually-picky nephew was silent for a full five minutes – a new record! And the desserts! The Crostata di Ricotta was divine, though I'm pretty sure my other cousin tried to pocket an extra Tiramisu for a midnight snack. All in all, Bugatti not only survived the Pedro's 90th birthday celebration, they thrived! Delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and enough laughter (and maybe a few tears, but we'll blame the excellent wine) to fill 90 more years. We'll definitely be back... once we've recovered from this one! Highly recommend for anyone who loves great Italian food and a side of memorable family chaos."
The best Italian I’ve had in a while, it was excellent. Service was very very good too. The best lasagna, great arugula salad and delicious cheese cake.
Very delicious ravioli ! On Wednesday’s it has specials “Lasagna”. So definitely will come back to try! Service is nice and atmosphere is very welcoming. The restaurant was opened 1985 and reminds the same traditions and its charm.
First Time at Bugatti Bistro: Dinner was Delicious! Service was very good. Second Time at Bugatti Bistro: We had a very nice lunch at Bugatti Bistro. We ordered from the Miami Spice Menu. We had SCALOPPINI DI POLLO ALLA PIEMONTESE with a Cesar Salad and SALMONE AL FINOCCHIO with a House Salad. For dessert we had a Gelato and a Sorbet. The food was Delicious. Service was Excellent and the Ambience was Beautiful.
Ate here for the first time tonight. I’m Italian, and can say this is one of the most authentic Italian dinners I’ve had in the US. Best food, and the service was absolutely perfect. What a gem, we’ll be regulars here!!
My recent dining experience at Bugatti Bistro was a true culinary delight, offering a trifecta of Italian classics: pasta, wine, and dessert. First and foremost, the Italian pasta served was a masterpiece. Each dish boasted perfectly cooked pasta paired with mouthwatering sauces that danced on the palate. Whether indulging in a creamy carbonara or savoring a rich bolognese, every bite was a testament to the chef's mastery of Italian cuisine. Accompanying the delectable pasta was a selection of fine wines that perfectly complemented the flavors of each dish. From robust reds to crisp whites, the wine list at [Restaurant Name] showcased a curated selection that elevated the dining experience to new heights. To top off the meal, I had the pleasure of indulging in their apple pie, a true crowd-pleaser. The flaky crust enveloped tender slices of apple, delicately spiced and served with a dollop of freshly whipped cream. It was the perfect ending to an already impeccable dining experience.
Today 4-8-20, I ordered take out on Lasagna Wednesday. This was my first time trying this restaurant. EXTRAORDINARY is all I can say. I have never has a lasagna with bechamel on top. The layers are thin but so full of flavor. I will definitely be back to taste the rest of the menu. Thank you Vanessa Vasquez for the referral.
Was in town for training and we decided to try Bugatti Bistro for dinner and OMG so good! I just hate that I cannot remember the name of the dish I ordered. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere for dinner and service was friendly.
Stumbled upon this restaurant and boy am I glad we did. This spot is such a hidden gem - fantastic food and unbelievable service!! They have a lasagna special and the local family sitting next to us said they come every week just to get it. I thought they were overhyping it, but it was truly the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Our waiter Oscar was fantastic and friendly. He told us the history of the restaurant and about the sweet couple who owns it, which just further enhanced our experience. We will be back!!
One of the best experiences in a restaurant that I have had in the past. Can't wait to come back to the restaurant. Btw, the staff are very nice and compassionate of their customers.
Unlike Alina's post, I actually ate the food, therefore I can provide an honest review. This Italian restaurant is a landmark of coral gables, I have been eating there for the past 20 years and never had a issue. Very good food, authentic italian cooking and great atmosphere. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant in coral gables or in Miami. I recommend Bugatti, cage vialeto and probable franchesca, this restaurants are all located in coral gables. Enjoy
Highly recommend this restaurant!!! Everything is hand made and attention is paid to finest details, right down to the after dinner candies from Sicily!! Truly Italiano!! We will be back!! Patrick
Always good Italian food in the middle of the Gables. Great service every time. Love their pastas. I am a regular
One of Miami's best and longest-running Italian restaurants. The homemade pastas, in particular, are as enchanting as they are consistent. And the service is always on point. A must-try.
Great Food, The owner greets everyone at the door and Thanks them for coming.
This place is a great experience. If you have the time and the money it's a fantastic way to experience Italian cuisine. Will be returning very soon.
Excellent service and great tasting food. Very attentive and cozy ambiance. Every course served at the proper time. Loved the place.
One of the best experiences in Miami, I’ve been going to Bugatti since the mid 2000’s and it has remained excellent. I recently took my 3 year old daughter, and the staff was attentive, suggested an excellent substitution for her, and made the experience fantastic. Of course, I come regularly for the Wednesday lasagna, and that is like none other in Miami. A standout experience, and well worth it!
Consistently excellent pasta and other high quality Italian dishes. This elegant Coral Gables restaurant's attentive service complements its delicious meals. Highly recommended.
Excellent food and service. I have been going here with my family for years. Authentic Italian cuisine with a decent wine list, though I typically bring my own for a corkage fee of $20. I particularly like the gamberoni appetizer, the lasagna special available the first and second Wednesdays of the month, and the ravioli Bombay when I want something a bit non-traditional. The triangoli Bugatti is also excellent. Only downsides to this place in my experience is that it is cold and also sounds echo quite a bit so it can get loud when it is busy.
Amazing homemade pasta and pizza. Very attentive staff. The lobster ravioli is my favorite! Always a plus when restaurants have free bread! It's our favorite date night spot.
After hearing so many great reviews about Bugatti Bistro in Coral Gables, I finally decided to give their authentic lasagna “Served Wednesdays “a try, and I must say it was truly amazing in every way, and their service was also professional making the entire dining experience superb.
We made a terrific choice when we decided to bring our entire family to Bugatti to celebrate our kids FIU Graduation. Carlos was exceptional in coordinating with us. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Our guests were pleased and our event turned out beautiful! Thank you to all at Bugatti 👏🏻
Long-standing italian restaurant (over 35 years), excellent selection of pasta options! Wednesday is Lasagna night, highly recommend
Great food and selection. They went above for our toddler. My whole family loved the food & service.
What a lovely evening— food quality was perfect and the wait staff was very attentive. It’s hard to find a place where the food is consistently good that doesn’t cost a fortune. We will be back!
We were on vacation and had the pleasure of eating at Bugatti. Food was fresh, authentic and delicious. Service was professional and friendly. Overall outstanding experience. I would highly recommend. Many pasta selections are home made, as was the gelato.
Excellent location, easy to find. Food was as expected, delicate, good flavor, excellent price due to Miami Spice menu, our waitress was very attentive, and the bill for 6 people was affordable.
Really delicious food and attentive service. And I was blown away by what good value their lunch special is!
It was one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. The service was top notch the food was well prepared. The service was white glove. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the service is exceptional.
I've been a patron for over 15 years and not once have I ever had a bad meal. In fact it has always been exceptional - down to the homemade bread they serve you when you first sit. I've seen reviews where they complain about the staff and I have to disagree strongly. They have very professional and attentive waiters, they are just not constantly in your face. They are always within eye shot, since the place is not big, and come when called. If not, any other staff, be it another waiter, the manager or the owners are more than happy to assist when your waiter is in the middle of attending to another table. Nothing but courtesy. I guess if you feel that your waiter needs to park themsleves around your table and constantly chit-chat with your party, like at a dime-a-dozen, corporate-run, itallian franchise, then the wait staff here will not be your style, go to Maccaroni Grill. The food would never compare but at least you'll get a singing waiter. Everything is delicious but I have a few favorites such as their regular menu items - Bombay Chicken Ravioli, Saffron & Shrimp Risotto, and some of their rotating specials like their Sausage Risotto, Lobster Ravioli, Seafood dishes Al Cartuccio, Octopus Salami, Lasagna on the 1st Wednesday of every month. Also, their tiramisu is exquisite and made with orange zest. I don't want to name names but on the same block there's another itallian restaurant that's a little more trendy, gets pretty crowed and is quite popular... but I don't understand why when Bugatti's is just steps away. I suggest you walk past that other Itallian place and right to Bugatti's. It's worth the extra steps, better quality food, more authentic and more delicious!
Awesome!! First Wednesday of every month is Lasagna day. The food was great. Service was great. Get there early (before 7pm), or expect to wait.
Love this restaurant!! Been coming here my whole life and just great Italian restaurant!! All their food is delicious and even though I eat the same thing all the time; still worth it!!! Bravo!!
We had a private party en Saturday lunch, the owner was very accommodated and service was great, very tasty food, the place is closed on Saturday for luch but on special occasions you can make it your own.
A really great Italian food. Starting from the fresh and garlic bread, the olive oil, the fresh vegables, the cheese, through the great dishes and up to the home made ice cream (phenomenal) and espresso. Just go for it if you're in the area.
Excellent food and service. Loved the atmosphere, no loud music.
My dinner was excellent lobster ravioli, my husband had the carrot and ginger soup and the fish brazino special which he enjoyed too much, Cesar salad don’t waste your time or money, bread is excellent, lobster ravioli has you begging for more. Wine is fantastic, dessert was ok which was cream brûlée. Service was Incrediable on a busy night, very attentive “Never asked for anything” first time there and many more dinner RSVP
This is by far the best Italian food and service in all of Miami. Carlos, the owner, is always there making sure that all the standards are consistently maintained at the highest level.
Had an amazing snapper with black risotto. Delicious!! Waiters are all very friendly and treat you like family. Absolutely love this place.
Outstanding !!! A Coral Gables fixture. Get the Linguine Carpaccio with tiramisu for dessert ...to die for! Impeccably attentive staff. A robust menu. Prices that seem to have ignored the inflationary period that we have just lived through.. Reliably consistent food and prompt, attentive service that is not in a rush to turn the table over. Affordably elegant without pretentiousness.
The best Italian in Miami, hands down. Have enjoyed coming here for years and it never gets old. Excellent food, excellent service.
Great dining experience. Excellent service. Most of our group enjoyed their food but all felt it was a tiny bit bland from a flavor perspective. However, the presentation was great. I would certainly return.
I have been eating at Bugatti since the early '90s. In 2005 I moved out of Miami and every time I come back I try to eat here at least once. Just enjoyed another great meal. Just as it is nice to try new places and dishes, it is ALSO a pleasure to come back to a place that has remained true to itself through time. Its menu hasn't changed much, if at all, and that is fine, because they know what they prepare well, and they execute it with a consistency I have never known in any other restaurant, anywhere. I was also glad to see that they have avoided the temptation to gouge, as many other (lesser) places have. Staying loyal to a formula that works is the key to long-term success, and is why Bugatti has been able to remain a go-to place for a business lunch or a family dinner throughout the decades. At this point, eating here is like coming home. Thank you, and keep it up.
Nice environment and great service. We stayed a little late and they were very welcoming with us. I had the frutti di mare pasta which was good, but not special. We had the fried calamari and coconut shrimp for appetizers which were also good, the shrimp better.
Great place , good food , friendly people 👍
My dad (JC) has been dining at Bugatti’s for over 30 years and we have all our family & friends hooked! Super friendly servers with excellent service. Food is always of great quality and of course, the lasagna is especially awesome! Highly recommended!
Excellent food, great atmosphere. Service was stellar. Oscar is the waiter to have a great dining experience. Specials are worth trying. Celery soup was great precursor to meal. Family meal consisted of gnocchi verde with bolognese sauce and largest mussels I've ever seen! To end the meal we ordered the ricotta cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Freshly made and lighter than others I've had. For a Saturday night this was finest dining experience I can remember having.
The service was excellent! Started with an antipasto plate. The prosciutto melts in your mouth.. They are known for their lasagna on Wednesday and it doesn't disappoint! They serve it in a bechamel-like sauce. Sooo good! I topped it off with the ricotta cheesecake and a cappuccino...put a fork in me. I'm done!
My favorite restaurant maybe ever, been going for years and the staff are all so friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is calm yet lively, the music is always lovely and of course the food is incredible from the bread on the table all the way through to desert :)
Ok the food was amazing but Sal was even better. I’ve never met a person who made me and my friends laugh and want to be friends with someone that instantly. He was warm hearted and fun. Big shout out to him! The food was amazing though, fresh and flavorful and cute inside the resturant!! All around an amazing time
5 Google stars and 1 Michelin for Bugatti please. I don't know if I bought food or an experience, but I got both with great service and comfort. For a long time I wasn't this amazed, thanks thanks. By the way, it's a great price/quality relation. If you are looking where to, you found it.
I have been eating at Bugatti for over 20 years. I've dined here over a 100 times. There is a really good reason why my family and i come back over and over. Consistency! Its always good. Its homey, its friendly, its comforting and of course its delicious. Perfectly low key italian restaurant in the heart of Coral Gables. Prices are fair and if you factor in the quality and consistency, id say its a bargain. Im somewhat of a Caesar salad aficionado and i think theres is top notch. Some other dishes ive enjoyed over and over. Spaghetti Al Cartocho Caeser Insalata Bianca Insalata Pasta ala Bugatti Pasta ala Carbonara (not your typical carbonara) Lasagna (its the best Ive ever had) The entire menu is time tested recipes that are cooked with consistency.... Enjoy.
We went on Wednesday night for the famous lasagna. It was very good though I prefer more red sauce. Service and atmosphere were very nice. I'll go back again to try some of the other entres.
Overall great. Food was great and Carlos was very helpful. Highly recommend
My friend and I had a wonderful Miami Spice dinner on Saturday at Bugatti in Coral Gables. They have (2) wonderful menu options for Miami Spice dinner. Bugatti is a wonderful restaurant! Service was great! Food was delicious!
Dinner tonight was for our son’s birthday, we had reservations for a party of 6. We were promptly greeted and seated upon entering the restaurant. Service was very consistent and punctual throughout the evening. Water glasses filled before they were empty. The restaurant tables were quickly filled. Our waiter was on top of all his tables. Food was delicious. Our table ordered the spaghetti and clams dish, the lobster ravioli, gnocchi, and two of the nights special, the ossa bucco ravioli and the mahi dish. Everything was amazingly tasty. Dessert was just as incredible. The waiter gave us his top three items and the ricotta cheesecake deserved to be on the top 3. So light and delicious. We had a lovely evening celebrating our son’s birthday. We would definitely go back!
I've been coming to Bugatti Bistro since the early 90's. I've tried many Italian restaurants in Miami and its very hard to find one that can measure up to Bugatti Bistro food quality. Great food and service. Their menu is not as extensive as other restaurants but what you get instead is top quality. They have a selection of fresh pastas. Their Carbonara is delicious and their Caesar salad too. I wish they had a full bar rather than just beer and wine but its a small place so I understand they don't have a lot of space for a full bar. By the way, they are known for the Wednesdays Lasagna.
Bugatti Bistro is a true gem in Miami and Coral Gables. My family and I have been coming here regularly for the past few years, and it’s become our go-to spot for a quiet, delicious meal together. The staff is exceptionally attentive and warm (especially Mr. Pablo!). The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, and the food is consistently outstanding, with a fresh, home-cooked feel. It’s easily one of the best restaurants on Miracle Mile, and I genuinely hope more people discover it. You won’t be disappointed.
In this day and age where fine dining establishments come and go, Bugatti remains a reliable, go to restaurant offering consistent quality food and wine. Despite an ownership change five years ago, recipes and staff offering outstanding service remain. Prices are moderate to high but portions were generous. Bugatti knows who they are and who they are not.
My husband and I tried this place for the first time (today) during Miami Spice, and we were impressed. The service was good, and the food quality and presentation were good. But unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because... a flie flew into my husband's glass of wine, and it was swimming for a while before someone came, but the server exchanged without hesitation.
Tasty homemade Italian food with great service. Everything was good but nothing was memorable. I would go back and try other dishes.
Bugatti is no question a top Italian food restaurant in The Gables / Miami. Staff is fantastic, food is consistently excellent...pasta dishes wonderful. Seems as if we are all repeat customers in the dining room.l
The food was pretty good (3.9). The menu was hard to read as a simple Chillis eater, but I overcame it. The service was good, even thought I don't think they Italian. Only real bad thing is the lemonade tasted like ass water but overall a great place to eat.
Very busy..we felt rushed at 8:30 pm.. food excellent. We seem to be the only table with two children ages 5 and 10 who used to eating pasta and cheese
Pretty good dining experience at Bugatti. Service was excellent, water and hot bread came out just minutes after we were seated. Our server was excellent Started out with the following Carpaccio di manzo which was served over arugula and topped with mozzarella cheese. Good except served to cold which didn’t allow you to taste the carpaccio. Caesar salad - very good, Bugatti adds roasted pine nuts and a few Sun-dried tomatoes and while I like a traditional Caesars they add just the right amount that enhances the salad and doesn’t take away. And of course I had to add anchovies because what Caesars salad isn’t complete without anchovies. Only complaint is that I was the Caesars was as cold as the carpaccio. The branzino with black risotto was one of the specials, it was in my opinion the highlight of the evening. Bugatti is known for handmade pasta so of course we had to order a couple of dishes. My wife ordered the Spaghetti Cartoccio was equally impressive, light, layered with flavors. I ordered a pasta special something like a fiocchetti or sacchetti, a pear filled pasta in a pink sauce. Amazing! I’m sure both pasta dishes will taste better tomorrow. Ordered a few desserts - Tiramisu Bread pudding with vanilla ice cream Chocolate mouse All three were good the bread pudding was my favorite. Can wait to go back for their famous lasagna, remember it usually the first Wednesday of every month, but call first to verify.
Just went to dinner with friends, made reservation following the menu prices that shows on line, totally missed led Have to show actual menu prices on line quite a difference what I ordered shows on line for $16 and $25 at the Restaurant, shame on you! The rest Of the plates about the same!!!!
So start off the bread they provide are really good, the calamaris were also good but then the pasta came.. I had carbonara and it wasn't all that. Definitely not with the price, I've had much better pasta elsewhere. I was also about to try the penne pasta with salmon, same thing.. not worth the price. The service was great however for the amount of people we all were, 12 to be exact. I wouldn't recommend this nor go there again.
I have been wanting to come back to Bugatti and give it a second chance before I wrote the review. The first time was probably a few months ago and had its hits and misses. So I decided to come back, try different things and then give my opinion. On my first visit to Bugatti I had as an appetizer the soup of the day which was a cream of asparagus and it was just okay. Also had the fried calamari which was nicely breaded and the tomato sauce was decadent and light. This time we ordered the minestrone soup which was good... but came cold to the table. The fried calamari is still good. The entrees menu is not big but it has your usual Italian classics. (Their is no kids menu or portions) We ordered the salmon Finocchio which comes with a light wine sauce and vegetables, penne bolognese (which was supposed to be penne with pesto sauce), and tagliolini carbonara. Pasta was cooked good but the carbonara sauce was very salty.... I guess the pancetta overpowered the sauce and it was a bit too much. Service is okay... aside from the penne pesto switched to penne bolognese (waiter oversight) it was friendly and attentive. Probably will not come back here anytime soon.heads up, I will skip this place if you are in search of an Italian restaurant.
Good food but the price menu in here IS NOT UPDATED! Our bill for four people was very expensive! My husband asked to add 3 more shrimps on his risotto plate of $29 and they charged $50 his plate because they added 3 shrimp more almost the price of another meal. Food was good but not super good for the super prices.
The soup of the day (chicken and corn) was the only good thing. I ordered the SCALOPPINI DI POLLO ALLA SALTIMBOCCA and the risotto was dry and so was the chicken. Would not return and would not recommend.
It was ok. I was expecting more flavor from the pasta. Service was good, attentative waiters for the amount of people in the restaurant. Very crowded, too many tables next to each other. Very loud because of the small space. Zero social distancing.
Food was below average. Had the gnocchi, which I often do as a test. Gnocchi was mushy and the pesto sauce clumpy. It was as if it had been sitting around under heat lamp (food arrived quickly). Creme brulee was above average.
The food was inedible so four stars is an exaggeration. In essence the waiters refused to cancel our order when we had to leave because of illness since they charged for the food any way. They claimed the food was readyalthough it did not appear in a bag for ten minutes after we cancelled the order and waited to pay for our Pellegrino. I asked to talk to the owner and they essentially refused to call her although they said they would. In addition when complained, albeit rather loudly, about the charge when we had cancelled dinner, they threatened to call the police. I heartily recommend you avoid this restaurant specially if you have any sort of illness with symptoms that might come up suddenly. They are not going to understand and they will treat you rudely and threateningly. The waiters have no idea how to act in the United States.
Our server was rude. We waited forever for our food and it came to us luke warm. The taste was average at best. The decor and lighting in the restaurant is very dated.
Knowing Italian food is challenging when you decide to go out. I know was quite risky ordering spaghetti with claims in a cartoccio but I hoped..then the plate came, and claims from a can too..big disappointment. Talking about cutting on food cost..no thanks.
We just walked into the restaurant. The server said that they are closing at 9 PM. We went there by 8:40 PM. he said I’m sorry it’s already closed. There were a few tables that were still open in the restaurant. If the owner of the restaurant is reading this message you should know that I walked in again to just verify what was online and as I spoke to him, He was so rude and did not even acknowledge me just kept walking towards the kitchen, not knowing that I spoke Spanish as he spoke to the other Waiter. It’s too bad that people like that bring down their business. Haven’t been there in years and not go and many more!
I chose Bugatti to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We made a reservation for 10 on Sunday, August 25th, at 5:30 PM. Bugatti has been a Coral Gables restaurant for years, what could go wrong? Well...a lot! First they placed our table for 10 near the kitchen. The restaurant has awful acoustics. It was impossible to hear each other speak. We were trying our best to hear just the people sitting next to us when this guy, Carlos, comes and tells us that we are being too loud and that people are complaining. Never mind that that we were struggling to hear each other in the first place, no....we had to basically stop talking. The food was good, but not good enough to put up with being harassed and not good enough to go back. We were celebrating a birthday and we ordered a lot of food and bottles of wine. Thank you Bugatti for ruining our experience! None of us will ever visit your restaurant again. There is way too many other choices available for any of us to put up with your harassment ever again.
Read this please before you go. I don’t write reviews usually so take the time to read it. This is SERIOUS. Our first experience was terrible. Went for dinner with my wife, ordered some food and my wife ordered a Diet Coke as well. Coke and appetizers were served first. As we started The coke bottle tasted terrible from the beginning, I took the bottle, tried it , it tasted very sour and acidic. I looked at the bottle, It expired in April 2020, 9 months ago. I notified the waiter expecting it was an innocent mistake and to be replaced, however to my surprise the waiter was aware. As I told him the coke tasted bad, he acknowledged that it is probably expired, before I even tell him the date on the bottle. He offered a replacement but asked if my wife would take a different diet drink since all Diet Coke are expired!!! I couldn’t believe what I am hearing. I asked him that I need to speak to his manager. How can I trust what you are cooking inside if you are okay serving expired drinks over 9 months ago!! The manager came and was absolutely rude, “oh this is a mistake we have no control of, if you don’t feel comfortable you can go and you don’t have to pay”. Did I just hear that right!! The guy instead of apologizing and acknowledging their mistake of KNOWING THEY ARE SERVING EXPIRED DRINKS, he is asking us to go if we don’t feel comfortable having dinner with people behaving in that manner!!! Very odd, HOW CAN THIS BE OUT OF CONTROL MISTAKE WHEN YOU KNEW YOU ARE SERVING AN EXPIRED DRINK, and why are you keeping drinks in the back that expired from 9 months ago!!! Waiter acknowledged knowing and asked my wife to take a different drink because what they have is expired!! How can people trust what you using to cook in your kitchen, if that was your principle!! We left of course and didn’t have our entrees because we can not trust this place. I have been to many restaurants around them and they are absolutely the worst in Miracle mile. Don’t even bother going there. There are many better Italian restaurants around them.
Honestly, I am not sure who wrote all the positive reviews or who dared to embellish with multi star ratings. This may be the worst of the self proclaimed Italian restaurants I have been to in the last 5 decades. The linguini fruti di mare was a disgusting slop that smelled bad and there was barely any seafood save two decent sized shrimp, and it tasted worse than it looked and smelled. The lobster ravioli was equally unavailing, not fully cooked, was a far cry from Maine lobster "filled" and had a generic lobster bisque soup cream on top.
Have been going for years. However, last week we noticed the menu had changed. And the food was below average to bad. When we informed the server, we were stunned at his indifference. Furthermore, he remarked that the terrible tasting dish in question, was one of the most popular. Not an apology, much less a gesture of appreciation for our patronage. Will not be back. With such a varied and wide selection of excellent restaurants in the area, we will not subject ourselves to another bad experience.
Food was ok, server was nice, but they include the minimum tip in my bill I felt was racist because we were Spanish and it was just me and my mom. The manager or owner was very rude as well who was seating at the other table. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Sin haber pedido la cuenta la trajeron y además pésimo el servicio ,, no regreso mas y es una pena ya que he ido en otras ocaciones y no había tenido problemas ..
