My favorite locations are Miami Springs and Brickell area. The one on Biscayne Blvd was not like the usual Polo Tropical restaurants. But it may had something to do with With the datif the week or Tim of day!
This spot is perfect for a fast and tasty meal. We tried it years ago in Puerto Rico, and it was wonderful to return and savor those same delicious flavors. Despite living on the west coast, we couldn't resist coming back.
I rarely eat inside I usually order food through the drive through. This is the closest to home made food but served fast as fast food. We order the same, the TropiChop with Mojo Roast Pork accompanied with rice and beans. You can never go wrong with this, the portions are good and tasty. I’ve never had issue. The line used to get long but lately I go in and out in less than 5 mins. Their chicken wraps with Cesar are also really good.
I love Pollo Tropical so much and used to go to this location lots years go when I lived here. Was excited to return and am glad to say the food tastes better than ever and the team working there are all super friendly. I got a large Tropichop mojo roast pork ‘all the way’ with guac and it was ridiculously good. Wish I had one of these right by me. Best fast food available and far better than the vast majority of sit down places. I didn’t catch any of their names but the staff were also incredibly friendly and super helpful. They were very nice answering a couple questions I had and also loaded up my to-go order with a bunch of the side sauces. The side sauces are an absolute must-have for pretty much anything you get here.
Give CHRISTOPHER a raise! I go here everyday because this guy gives us exceptional customer service and makes us feel like family. Food is great and he always makes sure our order is right! He needs to be in management!

Pretty fast with taking your order in the drive-through as I have a person walking around taking orders in advance so by time you pull up to the window all you have to do is pay and continue with your food. My order was always accurate here and fresh like the other Pollo Tropical locations. Best part about this place is the deals they have on the food where you can get large plates for under $10.

Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the loaded fries and both were good! The highlight of the meal was definitely the sandwich! Was fairly priced. And street parking was available. Ordering can be done either online or in person. And the order was completed pretty quick! Would definitely come back!
They need to replace toilet seat in ladies bathroom - it's old & cracked yuck!. I didn't notice until after eating my delicious grilled chicken strips & Cesar salad. Great for maintaining my diet -- But yuck if I had seen that never would have stayed.

We dined in. The main eating space and the restrooms were a bit messy. This often goes with territory of a downtown location. The food was mid to below average for pollo tropical standards. Chicken and maduros were a bit on the charcoal/burned side. I dinged the service because I had to ask for everything.. utensil packs, then napkins, then straws for the drinks. The person handing the food out may have been new.

I like their healthy dishes but this time everybody seemed tired. It's understandable because it was almost 9:00pm, but I paid for a churrasco and their portion was less than half of what they usually serve. When I enquired about it, they told me that they accidentally forgot to tell me that they were out of beef and were deciding if they should make some more... Lucky for me, I ordered dine-in and had to wait for almost 20 minutes extra before I received the proper amount that I paid for. Always check your plates and ask about any doubts, particularly if your order is to go

Order delivery and when we got it they barely put food in the bowl. It was the skippiest bowl i ever seen. Then to top it off one of the bowls had no black beans. Some times I wonder if they know how to read.

Overall, it was decently satisfying, but the experience and food both left me wanting. I imagine it would be quite good if I caught them at a good time.

I love pollo tropical. Service? I don’t think so. I just ordered food for two and they were unable to provide 1 cilantro sauce???? We asked for it she said there is no more, how is no more? In the whole place? Seriously? I don’t believe that. It’s a $50 order like why it’s so hard provide 2 sauces? If this lady wasn’t lying then managers should be aware of restocking the cilantro sauce it’s actually one of the best part of getting pollo tropical, the food it’s pointless without. Please advise if you are short in budget and no providing sauce anymore so we won’t stop by pollo ever again then :)
The food was fresh and great, I'm from Houston and we have Pollo Locos over here which is very similar food however, the customer service at this one location was absolutely horrible. The heavy set black woman working the drive-thru was very rude and unpleasant and acted like I was bothering her by placing my order and said very few words to me and basically threw my food at me. 👎👎👎
After 4pm don't even bother coming to this place. I'm a regular customer who comes for the protein. The chicken most of the time is dry, but I work around the area and is the healthier option. If you come after 4pm You will find the slowest employees. If you do decide to come, make sure you're not on your lunch break.

i don’t know where to start off with the customer service. from the moment my family and i stepped foot into the place, the supposed “manager” gave us an attitude the entire time. terrible customer service. We are not from Florida, so Pollo Tropical was a new place for us and we all waited to know what we wanted to eat before we began to order. When we asked a question about an item on the menu. The supposed “manager” that she claims to be, treated us as if we were mute and/or dumb. She slowly pronunciated words and continued to roll her eyes. We didn’t say anything about her attitude while ordering. However, we were dining in. And once the food was ready to picked up at the counter, we confronted her what her issue was. The supposed “manager” didn’t put half of our food on the food tray. The food that was left out from the food tray, was put on the bare counter…. The food however, was okay. 3/5. Service ZERO/5

I live a five minute walk from this place I I come here quite often and the tables are always dirty, the cashier never listens to my order fully and I always have to send it back because of the large amount of beans after I specifically ask for light beans. And is it that difficult to hire people who can at least speak English???
The food was undercooked and even the soda tasted very very strange. The staff are obnoxious and don't know when to shut it. They are extremely loud to the point you can't hear your phone call. Management doesn't pay attention to their workers and just talk talk talk to people while being obnoxiously loud about it.

Whoever was talking through the mic taking orders for drive through and handing out the food to customers Wednesday May 27 around 7pm was extremely rude. I am a frequent customer and go to any location that is convenient for me but while I am in that area and even though its close for me, I am NOT going there anymore. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. We just wanted to confirm that she got our order since some items did not display on the screen and she did not even respond. She just repeats the total to us even louder. Did not ask if we need any sauces in the pick up window. We asked for some and she hands out one while looking the other way and makes no eye contact. We asked for another and we just get attitude. Mind you we are being extremely polite asking for it saying please and thank you. But Pollo Tropical should not employ workers with this kind of unprofessional attitude. Not sure how she got hired. Cheesy yuca bites at this location is over cooked every time anyways.
We usually love pollo tropical but this location is trash!! The workers are lazy and not friendly when told that something was wrong on the order. This location was out of everything. Not coming back to this location ever.
Management please listen! This place needs urgent attention. The quality of food and customer service is poor and unsafe. I have seen unsafe cooking practices that could jeopardize the brand of pollo tropical and hurt people. There is a guy called TONY. Has the worst service ever. Asked me for my ticket in a terrible way like If I were gonna steal the food. As a Military member and customer of this restaurant people like him makes me going to another restaurant. That guy was working today may 31st at 5pm. Long hair and then I asked him for a Straw. Told me to wait. After 5 mins asked again and In a bad manner told me they were there pointing me. Really bad customer service. I think they don’t even know what is it
Dry and unflavored Churrasco and Chimichurri. No seasonings whatsoever, and to top it off, there were absolutely no sauces available. Incredibly POOR customer service. My first time in a Pollo Tropical and more than likely my last.
This location never has any sauce it’s sad because it’s the closest location to me. I just picked up an order no sauces again 3 order in a row same thing.. what is happening sauce shortage ??? 2nd pic is my rice which is more of a mash potato I will be staying away from this location. Everyone was very rude ! The cashier literally rushed everyone to order their food and the manager that day was a white lady that was yelling at spanish man that was a coustmer , just about the whole time. Want be back there. Oh and the steak bowl was super skimpy. I have the picture of both rude people that work. Pollo Tropical🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 The chicken is consistently dry, and the overall quality of the food is poor. The advertisements are misleading, and it might be time for some changes. Consider letting the manager go, as well as reevaluating the ribs and black beans. We’re all quite disappointed. If i could rated 0 starts I would, what a bad customer service from the lady at the drive thru, they seem to be understaffed, what a waste of my money, never had this issue in others pollo tropical location. They need to get a new manager ASAP
Ordered after 10 pm on the weekend and it was a huge waste of time and money. Just go eat anywhere else. Half the items I wanted were unavailable, then at the window they tell me “no sauces are available”. Then they give me my order in the drive through and of the four items I paid for, two were missing. I had to get out of my car and go inside to get the rest of my order. Food was cold, chicken was dry, and the beans I ordered as a side were not even half filled. Literally the worst experience of all time.
Happy to go to Pollo for my favorite tropichop but the attitude is diabolical. Don’t understand the bad treatment. If you don’t like your job work somewhere else
The staff is honestly just ridiculous, the whole store is just a mess and seems like its being ran from the top of their heads or smth and the staff there are just difficult... prime example inserted lol. Im guessing it was their rush hour but why are you pouring all your emotions out on a customer..? Very very weak pull pork sandwich, mine had no meat at all. If you like bun you will be happy. First time in to a Pollo Tropical don’t think I will give it a second look after my first try. I should have taken a picture unbelievable.
Terrible customer service (especially from the cashier) as soon as you walk in. Many of the items on the menu are not available. So far the wait has been 32 mins for my food. Not "fast food" at all. At a regular restaurant i for sure would be eating by now. Highly unprofessional manager, monday march 8, 2021 2:30pm. She did not offer any apologies and just said she wouldnt mind waiting this time at a fast food restaurant if she were in my situation.
I’m living in the northern states, Pollo Tropical use to be one of the most rewarding experience visiting Miami Beach. In this particular occasion the lack of management was evident, the dining area and tables needs be clean, and the attitude toward the customer was rude. The food flavor needs to back to the original taste. Pollo Tropical owner at Biscayne Blvd. Miami, FL needs to take a robust action, a lot room to improve. I’m so disappointed!!!!
Today, Friday 12/05/25, 9:30 pm I ordered a half chicken, and a quarter of the chicken came completely burned. I asked them to replace it, and instead of apologizing, the manager told me that next time I should bring the whole order back, instead of saying “sorry” for giving me burnt food. Very unprofessional and disappointing service.
Food was OK, but not impressed with online take out experience. Slow service and chaotic dining room. Woman behind the drinks was very rude, held hand in my face as if ignoring me although I was waiting for carry out for over 30 minutes. Had someone else from the back not shown a bit of care and costumer service I would have canceled order or done a credit card chargeback.
As others have stated, get it right. Today I went in to get ONE meal, a Chicken Quesadilia wrap meal. I leave. I eat a couple of mushed fry clump and then take a bite out of the wrap and it's a disgusting chicken Ceasar wrap. I threw it away.
The rice is always raw !!! Don’t get the rice. When I let them know to please exchange it they gave me an unacceptable attitude. Won’t be coming back to this Pollo Tropical. I suggest you find a different location.
Today, I ordered The surf& turf trio, but what got was nothing even similar to what they advertised, In other words, I got "a cat for jackrabbit" The size of the churrascos, one piece less than 2 centimeters, the other piece a chunk a grease and the third piece it barely was an inch and a half. The black beans, it look like a soup of beans, the shimps were not cooked properly, they look all soggy. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE PEOPLE???
Should have read the reviews and gone to a different location. To start off, the employee taking orders at the counter was really struggling. We had to repeat what we wanted to order numerous times. He didn’t understand me when I asked for silverware. Had to repeat myself twice. While in the bathroom, an employee came in, was in a stall, talked on her phone for a few minutes, flushed the toilet and then LEFT! She did not wash her hands. (And she was in the small stall without a sink). Makes me regret eating any of the food here. If we get sick, we’ll know why. Food was lacking over all. Plantains were ok. Fried yuca seemed like it had been sitting out and wasn’t as crispy as we like. Chicken was a little overcooked and dry, and pieces were small. My bowl of beans was more like a bowl of bean juice. Whereas my husband’s actually had a lot more beans to it. Overall, very unimpressed. There are better locations to visit in Miami. Choose those instead.
First I order a Cesar salad and they put it in a carton instead of a plate and the dressing of the salad left the carton nasty and broken, I then remind my driver who was delivering to me to remind them of my fresh salsa and they told the driver that it was in the bag, when I receive my order I get no fresh salsa after my delivery DRIVER asked if it was in the bag. This is one of the WORST pollo tropical I’ve order from, I wish I had never ordered from there, I would rather starve :/
I’m a bit disappointed with the carelessness of the employees specially the cook serving under cooked ribs! I know it’s late and everyone is ready to go home, but management should emphasize the repercussions of serving under cooked meat. Please address the issue or a lawsuit will when someone becomes ill with a bacteria.
I dont recommend to stop here. They collect the order very poorly. Very greedy and don't put in enough chicken (all way chicken) . A waste of money. Management does not make up for your expenses and dissatisfaction.
I have been to numerous Pollo Tropical restaurants all over the south Florida area. I just had an experience in here that made me write this review. The employees continued to intentionally ignore me while servicing almost 3 customers who came after me. I worked in and managed a restaurant before; this service was unacceptable.
In 15 years of being a customer, I've never experienced such a terrible visit to Pollo Tropical. After seeing no line, I thought to myself, this is going to be a quick, nice, and smooth visit to get dinner and out. The complete opposite. Despite no wait time, the service was terrible. The drive thru attendant was nothing but rude with an extremely "annoyed tone of voice" noticeable through the mic. We asked for two tropichops, one of them was supposed to be a vegan chicken picadillo tropichop. Not only it was loud through the mic as they were all screaming inside but the window attendant NEVER made eye contact with us, never greeted us, never asked us if we needed anything else. When we got home, I noticed what was supposed to be my vegan chicken picadillo tropichop was nothing but a plate of black beans, white rice and lots of cut chicken breast. We took pictures of this right away. Obviously, we have the receipt and proof of this terrible experience that, unfairly, cost us closed to $25.00. Insane! Nobody else should experience what it is to pay for something you will not be able to eat/enjoy and deal with terrible customer service.
Majority of drive thru experiences here are very off putting. One occasion was asked by the drive thru cashier for cash instead of card claiming he’d provide a discount. Separately tonight waited from 8:20 (when I paid) to 8:55 in the drive thru line to get my meal. When I finally pulled up to drive thru window the cashier told me not to pull up all the way to window until he was ready with my food - not a great look telling someone not to watch their food being packaged. This also happened on a separate occasion and the guy claimed it was for drive thru wait time stats, I was asked to reverse then pull back forward. All around off putting staff at this location.
I gave this place not one, not two, but three chances. I came here three days in a row—like a hopeful fool. And every single time, they messed up my order. Not complicated stuff either. We’re talking basic, drive-thru-level competence. It’s chicken and rice. Look, if you’re going to hire people to take orders, maybe make sure they can actually take an order. I’m not asking for Michelin star service—I just want what I paid for. Once is a mistake. Twice is a problem. Three times? That’s a business model. Minimum effort, minimum standards. Minimum wage is fair, because maximum attention to detail clearly isn’t on the menu. In addition to this review- I did an online pick up for 6:00PM, I ordered 15mins prior and they made me wait 26 mins to get my food. So wild. Do better guys!!! Come on

I ordered a salad and rice, but they gave me a bowl instead — even the container was different. The portion was half the size of what I’ve had at other locations. And unfortunately, no one in this store speaks English, so you can’t even properly explain what you want. Overall, a very bad experience.
Very disappointed. I found a piece of ice inside my food, which is unacceptable, and the guacamole tasted spoiled and old. This was a very unpleasant experience, and I expected much better quality and food safety
Worse Pollo Tropical i have been in the past 7 years, a disgrace to Argentinian Churrasco. Place smelled horrible muddy, stinky, you can defenetly find a better place, i would not even buy a plate of food to a homeless here.
I've visited several Pollo Tropical locations because I like their food. But at this location, the food is definitely substandard. The Tropimango was super watery. The two Tropichop chicken portions combined didn't even make up one regular portion. I won't be eating at that location again.
Just went thru the drive thru and I placed an order for a 1/4 chicken dark with black beans and rice. Instead I got a Dried out piece of white meat that was so dry it was literally a choking hazard. Lesson # 1 Always check your food before you drive away. Lesson # 2 Make sure that the cashier gives you a receipt. If you don’t follow steps #1 and # 2 you’ll end up pissed off like I am, as I write review. I called customer service to complain and for a future replacement meal.. Instead, I got a women who said I needed to have my receipt. Well the cashier did not give a receipt. And I almost drove off without my drink because he forgot to give it to me. And No utensils. And No sauce. He asked if I wanted any sauce when placing my order. And I said yes, garlic cilantro. What kind brain people are you hiring Pollo tropical needs to better train their employees so this kinda stuff doesn’t happen. And I won’t be wasting my time writing this one star review. To the Pollo Tropical customer service, you may want to rethink your policy before telling your customers that spend money in this establishment that you can’t help them. Maybe, you should call the store yourself for the receipt. It’s his screw up not mine.
Worker Gabriel was rude when ordering, kept pretending to not hear me even tho i was clear. He also later started clean around the place making very loud chair moving and slamming noises. Very rude and very bad tempered person. Please fire him. Food was dry. People, don't go to this place unless they clearly cleanup their act. Very bad employees. Don't give them your money and enable them.
