Pasta e basta is incredible you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The vibes are immaculate. Mirko was our server, he was helpful with any menu questions we had, prompt and polite. Will definitely return.
We were suprised in the best of ways, had a great dining experience at this place. Not only is the food delicious but the service is top knotch (our server was Allan - made great recommendations and adjustments to our order that fit our taste). We got the bruschetta tricolor (soso good), the tonnarelli alla bolognese and the shrimp risotto special of the day. For desert we tried the tenerina al cioccolatto and it did not disappoint. Would return to eat here to try any of the other plates anytime!
Excellent. Small cozy and warm. Simple and casual yet refined and elevated. I love this authentic Italian pasta eatery. It is a gem for us locals that know located in Midtown. Our server Mirko was great.
We visited Pasta e Basta yesterday and absolutely loved it. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt cozy and intimate, yet had this subtle upscale touch that made the whole experience feel special. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to sit back, enjoy your meal slowly, and soak in the atmosphere. We started with the bruschetta, which was good — fresh and nicely seasoned, though nothing particularly memorable. But once the pasta arrived, we were both blown away. You can tell it’s freshly made — tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I had the ravioli with spinach in butter and sage, and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was rich but perfectly balanced, and every bite melted in my mouth. My husband ordered the frutti di mare, which was equally amazing — full of flavor and generous with the seafood. Everything from the food to the service felt thoughtful and well done. If you’re looking for a cozy, refined Italian spot with truly fresh pasta, this place is a must. 🍝✨
The food was absolutely delicious. I just got back from Italy and feared I wouldn’t find pasta or tiramisu as good as the one there. Well, I did! I would absolutely recommend having the meatballs as an app & the beef short rib ragu as your main dish. The tiramisu was to die for. Sadly did not get a picture because we finished it before we could think of taking a pic. Mirko was our serving and he was great. He was able to recommend us each the wine we’d like best depending on our taste. Absolutely come back. Thank you Mirko & Pasta e Basta :)
Wonderful place to dine. The food was incredible. We ordered the tricolor bruschetta and the meatballs to start. Both delicious, and I especially liked the tomato bruschetta. For the main meal I ordered the duck ragu which was impeccable. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was divine. The wine they recommended was also delicious, perfectly light to match the food. The service was also very professional.
I had a great experience thanks to Alan. He was very friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect during our visit. The service was quick and professional, and he had a great attitude the whole time. Definitely made the dining experience even better. Highly recommend his service!
Had dinner here with my husband. The food was soo delicious. My fave was definitely the lobster filled Ravioli. Definitely could have more. Our server Silvana was pretty great and made our experience really good.
The place is really nice — modern, clean, and super comfortable. The service was excellent, consistent, and genuinely attentive. The food overall was amazing! However, the amatriciana sauce could use a bit of improvement — it leaned too sour, which overpowered the balance of the dish. With a little adjustment to the acidity, it could easily match the level of their outstanding bolognese, which was a solid 10/10
Pasta e Basta is far the best Italian restaurant I have ever tried. Maria was our server, she was amazing, she was nice and helpful. When I walked in the smell of the restaurant had a refreshing scent, the decoration was modern aesthetic and cozy. The bread and olive oil took me back to Europe. We ordered white wine bottle and for anti pasti we ordered meat balls that were delicious. We order gnocchi 4 cheese and papardelle lamb ragu it was amazing. For dessert we had tiramisu and basque cheesecake with espresso ⭐️
I totally loved it! Such nice intimate restaurant love the simple yet refined ambiance. Servers were nice and knew the menu well. All the food we tried was DELICIOUS! I will totally be coming back !
Delicious!! Definitely the best pasta in Miami by far, super fresh and delicious authentic flavor. Mirko was a great server, he is Italian and was very friendly. The tiramisu is a must get.
Our server Mirko made sure to be very careful with my wife’s celiac restrictions, and his recommendations were excellent. The pasta was fresh and delicious. We will be back!
We went for lunch on December 31, 2025, and the experience was excellent. We started with the Bruschetta Tricolore—amazing flavor, beautiful presentation, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. My wife ordered the pork-stuffed tortellini, which was absolutely incredible, and I had the Linguini al Frutti di Mare—perfectly balanced flavors and the pasta was truly al dente. We finished with the tiramisu, the real deal and absolutely delicious, followed by an espresso served with a cookie, a perfect way to end the meal. We will definitely be coming back soon to try more dishes from the menu.
Mirko is such an amazing waitress! Very helpful and his food recommendations were all DELICIOUS! Best Basque cheesecake!
We had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant. Every dish was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was outstanding, Allan took care of us the entire time with exceptional attention and kindness. He was truly charming and made fantastic recommendations that elevated our meal even more. Highly recommended!

Omg! It’s my new favorite resturant. Their homemade pastas are soooo good. I even had the $9 beer since we didn’t want to splurge. And it was totally worth it, they give you free bread, so delicious. It’s worth visiting!! They even have kid portions and options off the menu.
An amazing Italian experience accompanied by our waiter Allan and his great service. He went through house favorites and helped me pick a choice of meal. Pictured is the Conchiglioni al Sugo di Carne, which was filling and tasty. The overall dining service and restaurant ambiance stands out.
I totally loved it! Such nice intimate restaurant love the simple yet refined ambiance. Servers were nice and knew the menu well. All the food we tried was DELICIOUS! I will totally be coming back !
Our waiter Allan was so lovely and attentive. He made our experience so special and the food and wine was some of the best we have ever had! Will definitely return here. 10/10!!
Everything about this places was great!! Rare experience here in miami- where food, atmosphere, and service by Mirko was exceptional!! I will be coming back to try everything on the menu!!
I loved everything about this place! The food was excellent, tasteful and unique, the servers were great and they took us in 30mn before closing time without any issues. 10/10
This was the best gnocchi I’ve had in a long time, and the pistachio gelato is a must-try. The beef pasta was also excellent. The décor is relaxing, with a cozy atmosphere and great lighting. I’ll definitely be back.
We had a wonderful experience at this pasta restaurant. As someone with celiac disease, I felt completely safe and cared for. Mirko made sure every detail was perfect.. no cross-contamination, pasta cooked al dente, and a truly delicious sauce. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we left feeling happy and well looked after. Highly recommended! Thank you again!
I loved the taste of the food, the service to the customer, the atmosphere of the restaurant but most of all, how Maria took care of us. If you go, please ask for Maria, she makes any experience be 10 times better. For my coffee lovers, this place will not disappoint, it’s incredibly great. The desserts are out of this world, but please ask for the Tiramisu and Torta Vazca. You will not regret it. I will come back 100 times a year if necessary. Don’t walk, run to this restaurant.
This is the perfect place for almost any occasion! During my dinner, I saw families, young friend groups, and couples all enjoy a wonderful dinner—myself included. JP was our waiter and was so attentive and timely without ever seeming like he was pushing us along. The food was delicious (the carbonara and rigatoni amatriciana were both 10/10)! Will be coming back soon.
What a beautiful place, the food was absolutely amazing!!! And our server Mirko and the rest of the staff helping him were great! I highly recommend you check this place out. You won’t regret it
This was our second time at Pasta e Basta, and it continues to be one of our favorite spots, perfect for date nights, family dinners, and catching up with friends. Our server, Maria, was phenomenal! She was attentive, transparent, and made sure everyone was enjoying their meal. She also went above and beyond to help us celebrate the birthdays at our table, which made the night extra special. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, with a homey feel that still feels exclusive. The food was also delicious and we were excited to try the weekend specials, which was lamb chops this time around! Thank you, Maria, and the entire Pasta e Basta team for another wonderful experience!
Exquisite flavor and quality. The complimentary bread and oil was deliciously rich and textured. We got the bruschetta, and the anchovy floored me with the depth of flavor. For pasta, we shared the cacio e pepe and the short rib ragu, and both were sensational. Our server Mirko was terrific. Will definitely come back again when we want impeccable quality and flavor.
We’ve been coming here since it opened a couple of years ago. Absolutely amazing. The most authentic Italian dishes and like they do it in Italy. Especially the carbonara. They use real guanciale that adds to the aroma and creamy flavor. Out of all the Miami restaurants, they have the best Italia pasta in town. I’m impressed how they haven’t lowered their quality or standards. They pulled an amazing espresso ristretto that most restaurants don’t know how to serve. They do! Applause all around.
Came shortly after they opened and my wife and I truly enjoyed our lunch and the service. We were informed of their lunch special which we thought was a great deal. We loved how fresh the pasta tasted and we were really impressed with everything. My favorites were the lasagna and the tiramisu, just perfect and not too heavy. Can’t wait to return.
I showed up solo on a whim on Easter Sunday. They were very busy and the manager asked me if I was okay sitting at the bar. I personally have no issues with the bar when I am solo. After being placed at the bar behind the POS system a server comes up to me abruptly and asks can I help you and I say yes actually I'm sitting here, id like a glass 🍷 of Cabernet. Anyway long story short I ended up waiting for a table while drinking my whine at the bar. The past and the sauce at this place is top notch. You need to try it. The pork meatballs are outstanding. As of my experience today this place is the real deal and worth the repeat too bad for me I am too far from here.
★★★★★ 5 stars Pasta E Basta is an absolute gem in Miami. Everything we tried was delicious, and the pasta is the real star: perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. The ambiance is beautiful and makes the whole experience feel special without being stuffy. On top of that, the service was genuinely incredible: warm, attentive, and perfectly timed. Can’t wait to come back.
My family absolutely loved this place! The food was perfect fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The restaurant has a nice, small, warm vibe with soft lighting that makes the whole experience even better. The tiramisu was amazing, easily one of the best we’ve had in Miami. We loved the dishes so much that we actually re-ordered some of them again! Truly an incredible Italian spot. Highly recommend!
Our first visit at this restaurant exceeded our expectations. Mirko was courteous and professional. We ordered meatballs, carbonara, osso buco (weekend special), tiramisu, cheesecake and 2 glasses of wine. Besides the meatballs which we felt slightly fell short, the rest were delicious and the cheesecake was fantastic. The restaurant was smaller than expected but they do have outdoor seatings. The overall decor was comfortable and pleasant. We will return to Pasta e Basta and we definitely recommend this place.
AMAZING! I had a great experience at Pasta e Basta with my family. The pasta are made from scratch and you can definitely taste it. The place is beautiful and cozy. Thank you Mirko for the service, you were so kind and helpful!
Allan was our waiter and absolutely crushed it — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made the experience better. Service was top-tier. The food? Easily 5 stars across the board. This place does Italian the right way. What we ordered: • Burrata special — do not skip this if it’s available. Fresh, balanced, and a perfect way to start. • Pasta Carbonara with guanciale — authentic Roman recipe done properly. No cream, just rich, silky perfection. • Conchiglioni al Sugo di Carne — stuffed shells with Angus beef short rib ragù, tomato sauce, and Parmigiano Reggiano. Deep flavor, comforting, and executed flawlessly. • Tiramisu — classic, not overly sweet, and the ideal finish. • Bottle of Anselmi Bianco San Vincenzo (Sauvignon blend, IGT Verona) — crisp, clean, and paired beautifully with everything. From service to food to wine, this was the kind of meal that reminds you why you love going out to eat. Will absolutely be back.
Alan is the service you dream about. his service was impeccable and timely. He was friendly and also honest about which dishes he likes the best. I appreciated that he did not just try to sell us the most expensive dish, but that he focused on pleasing the customer. Make sure to give him a big tip.
Excellent service. Mirko was very attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire experience. He was always attentive to our needs and made sure everything was perfect. He definitely made our visit to the restaurant even better and food was amazing , very good food . Highly recommended!
Wowowoww!!! Loved the restaurant! The food was delicious, our server Mirko was great!! Super attentive and gave us great recommendations! The ambiance was super too! Will definitely come back again!$
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a fantastic dining experience at Pasta e Basta, thanks to our amazing server, Mirko! From the moment we sat down, he greeted us with a warm smile and was attentive to our needs throughout the meal. His recommendations were spot-on, and he truly knows his menu. Mirko’s friendly demeanor made our anniversary evening even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and experience his wonderful service again!
I can’t tell how long had i been looking for this place in miami, subtle, cozy, and with all i need, pasta and wine, nothing else. new fav spot no doubt. service is the cherry on the cake, the whole crew seems to work great. Thanks Allan for taking care of us, you are the best.
Pasta e Basta is an authentic Italian restaurant in Midtown area! Did not know it existed until a friend shared the cuisine tastes just like the home country - Italy. Our server, Mirko, was knowledgeable of the dishes and spoke Italian and Spanish as well. We had three dishes that we shared and it was the best decision to get a taste of their range. The garden patio was more lively than the intimate indoors. Parking on street, paid or if lucky near the residences on the west side. Walk-ins were welcomed. Weekend specials always available. Tiramisu was a great ending to our experience.
The concept of the place is beautiful, everything was spotless and so inviting. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us so warmly and stayed attentive throughout our meal, always checking in and even recommending dishes for us to try. I ordered the bruschetta and was pleasantly surprised to get three different kinds, each one delicious. The carbonara was also absolutely wonderful. Overall, this place really impressed me, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great food and great service❤️
Pasta e Basta is amazing! It’s the only Italian restaurant I’ve been able to find in Miami that actually tastes like true Italian food. I went to Italy last year and had been disappointed since by every Italian restaurant in America until I went here. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful! Our server was Moro and he was very attentive and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this restaurant! It’s the only Italian place I’ll go to in Miami now.
For an Italian, finding an authentic restaurant is always a pleasure. I had Bigoli with duck—a dish I’ve never found anywhere else in the USA. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent food. If you’re in the area, it’s worth planning a stop to enjoy the true Italian flavors. Mirko also add the Italian warm and he makes you feel “home”.
Has easily become a Miami go-to of mine! Great service and incredible pasta cooked al dente! I asked for a vodka pasta and our waiter recommended the closest thing on the menu. Tasted like vodka pasta to me! My husband had the seafood pasta and our friends, cacio e pepe. Everyone was pleased with their dish. Small and charming, quaint establishment with great curb appeal. Enjoyed it very much and look forward to returning! Wonderful, low key ambience that wasn’t very loud. I hate having to shout in a restaurant because of the music being too loud. Wait didn’t take long at all, as it was a Sunday night.
This has become one of our dinner staples. The food is consistently great but the service makes us feel at home. I want to highlight Maria because she treated us like family but also like royalty. She is the absolute best!
That’s it… after 30 years I have finally found better pasta than my mother’s house in Italy. I am a chef from Rome. The rigatoni carbonara is Michelin star worthy the guanciale was crispy on the outside soft on the inside so succulent. The ravioli ricotta and spinach with butter and sage… melts in your mouth. The paccheri with pomodoro so simple so bursting with flavor. You can tell how passionate the owner is about his restaurant it simply showes in every way. We sat out in the patio and I felt like I was were on the hillside in Italy eating at my aunts. We finished with tiramisu! Maria our waitress was awesome so attentive and knowledgeable. I am a chef and expert eater if I could, I would give them four Michelin stars for what I ate today. I can only imagine with the rest of the menu taste like I cannot wait to return. I live three hours away and I would drive here just to eat here. Thank you!!
Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere was incredible. We loved every plate we ordered. The best carbonara I’ve had yet! My boyfriend ordered a short rib ragu that was also delicious. Allan was our waiter, and he was very attentive and sweet. We will definitely be coming back!
Allan- our server was a sweetheart and super helpful. Found this place by taking a wrong turn that turned into a right turn! Had some wine and the Rigatoni Amtriciana that was cooked PERFECTLY (I am quite particular with my pasta, and had only compliments!) Vibes great, food wonderful, and tiramisu 🤌🏽🤌🏽
We had another wonderful experience at Pasta e Basta! We’ve visited several times, and it never disappoints. The carbonara was outstanding as always perfectly creamy and full of flavor. The tortellini were absolutely delicious, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal. Maria’s attention was excellent, as always. She made us feel welcome and took great care of us throughout the evening. We will definitely keep coming back!
An amazing Italian experience accompanied by our waiter Allan and his great service. He went through house favorites and helped me pick a choice of meal. Pictured is the Conchiglioni al Sugo di Carne, which was filling and tasty. The overall dining service and restaurant ambiance stands out.
We had a reservation for a lovely family dinner before a show, and Mirko and his team took excellent care of us from start to finish. He patiently walked us through the menu and made thoughtful recommendations. My eyes went straight to the Agnolotti, and it did not disappoint. I honestly wanted a second round, but I had to save room for dessert! We tried four desserts, and the star was the house tiramisu, absolutely outstanding. The pistachio gelato was creamy and nutty, and paired beautifully with the chocolate cake. (those don't come together but maybe should ask) A close second to my dish was the Conchiglioni al Sugo di Carne, so rich, comforting, and delicious. The Lasagna Bolognese was good and a very generous serving. The Carbonara had perfectly cooked guanciale on top ~ so good. We also ordered one of the seafood pastas, which had a clean, fresh ocean flavor. Lovely, though not as memorable as the others. For an appetizer, we had a fluffy bread topped with ricotta and prosciutto (I wish I remembered the name!). The wine recommendations were on point, and the espresso macchiato at the end was so smooth I didn’t even need sugar. They clearly take pride in both the quality of their food and their service. 10/10 would recommend. We can’t wait to return and try more of the menu. Portions lean more European than American ~ which is great because it means you can enjoy multiple courses and dessert.
I loce coming here! this hidden gem is always the best low key vibe, the food is amazing and the truffle cacio e pepe is immaculate. JP is very knowledgeable and before we tried something that did not go together he recommended the cacio e pepe w the truffle. I think that should be the insignia dish. Will come back for it again 😋
Went last night and the ambiance, food, and service were all absolutely on point. The appetizer meatballs were delicious, and the sauce perfect to be soaked up by the house bread. The bruschetta was unique but okay if I’m being honest. We had two entrees - the short rib pasta and the paccheri al tre pomodori with added burrata. Both were nicely portioned, fresh tasting, and delicious! And tiramisu, you must end the meal with that!
The food was top notch quality and service was excellent. Maybe a more attention from the initial waiter regarding parmigiano to have on the table for the food but that is only a minor minor feedback. Otherwise the lunch special was excellent and the fact that it is offered with a coffee and dessert nails the spot. Veramente tutto buono, complimentoni a Mirko e al suo staff davvero in gamba. Torneremo!
We came on a date night as it had been highly recommended by our friends and it didn’t disappoint! We shared the meatballs to start and they were delicious, I then had the Cacio e Pepe and my wife had the tagliatelle and they were both incredible. Thank you Mirko for the great service 🙏🏻
I’ve been seriously missing good New York food since moving last year, and Pasta e Basta completely hit the spot. Everything was so good — I tried three different pastas and a salad, and every bite was better than the last. It honestly felt like a taste of home. You can tell they care about quality and flavor here. Highly recommend if you’re craving something authentic and classy.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, everything came out fresh and full of flavor. Our server Allan was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire meal. His recommendations were great and his service truly elevated the whole experience! Thank you, Allan, for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
This cozy, intimate Miami spot is perfect for meaningful conversations over dinner instead of loud music, which I appreciated. We began with meatballs in a rich tomato sauce, setting a tone for a simple, well-made Italian meal. Comfort food done right. The spaghetti carbonara was cooked properly, with al dente pasta and a savory, salty cured pork flavor, though it didn't quite reach standout status. The short rib agnolotti stood out as the highlight, featuring tender meat and a hearty yet balanced sauce. Service was friendly and professional, creating a relaxed atmosphere ideal for a quiet date or an intimate dinner with someone you want to talk to. I recommend Pasta E Basta for a comfortable, intimate Italian experience in Miami, offering good food and a refreshing change from the usual loud, scene-filled restaurants.
This place deserves the reviews it’s received. We came for lunch and they have a great deal running for lunch, $22 for pasta and dessert and it runs M-F from noon to 3pm. The pasta has one of the freshest taste and the tiramisu was well put together. Will be coming back. Our serve name was Maria and she was excellent! 10/28/2025 review update: second time coming by myself on a Tuesday afternoon. The service was slower and the dessert portion was smaller than the first time. The mezzelune was also proportionally smaller compared to the pasta dishes ordered compared to the previous. Overall the experience is a bit pricey even at the lunch pricing for the amount received.

I don’t know why this place rated 4.9. There are more Italian places that are really delicious. I tried two or three items of the menu and they were ok. Is one of those places that you try and say next! The Service was really bad, the server was really slow and didn’t care about the tables. Sincerity I don’t recommend this place
I have a high expectation over here but is overall performance worth the 4.9 stars? First, the pasta were phenomenal but comes with small portion and very pricy. Pasta came to table with warm to cold temperature and it does affect the flavor of cacio e Pepe. I even paid extra $18 for truffle and tasted the bitter flavor which is not pleasant. The things I dislike the most is the service. We came with mostly empty indoor/outdoor seating Friday night and the server even hesitate to ask customers’ seat preference. Servers also don’t talk to customers regard the satisfaction of food, any refill or accommodation needed. They would just showed up and took off your plates without a word which bothered me a lot😂 it’s a decent design restaurant and not bad food in general. But will I go back? Unless they improve their customer service!
Disappointed doesn’t describe the lack of effort, taste and service from this restaurant. I wish I had read more of the 1 star reviews before making the shift to come here vs my normal Italian spot in the area. We walked in and everyone just stared. I then spoke up and said I had reservations. This was met with confusion. When it was finally figured out, we sat and then ordered. There were maybe 6 other people seated in the entire restaurant. I asked about a gluten free accommodation and they said they could do it no problem. The meatballs were good but the sauce was not great. Definitely not to the quality that other reviews have claimed. Next, the pasta comes in a big bowl. I confirm that it wasn’t gluten free, they take it back. 4 minutes later, a smaller bowl is brought out. It’s gluten free but the noodles are undercooked and still hard. At that point, it’s just not worth it. We ask to get the check and the server tried to get us to stay and order more. Once we said again we wanted the check, there was a shift in energy that we no longer needed quality care or to ask further as to why. I’m not sure if this is a new start up but having to leave earlier than planned because the food and service were below subpar- is rare for me. I cannot recommend this restaurant and hope they do better.
Please read negative reviews first before go they are correct. Waiter was very good but food is defiantly has no taste and hostesses is an angry lady. She was unfriendly and abrupt. Very poor experience for a lot of money We ordered triple pasta option and appetizer all 4 dishes were no good Save your money Find a better place
Honestly baffling. We chose this place because of its near-perfect Google rating, and after visiting, I genuinely struggle to understand where that score comes from. The credibility of those reviews raises serious doubts. The welcome was noticeably cold. We were placed at a cramped, uncomfortable outdoor table while multiple better tables sat empty the entire time. The hostess flatly refused a simple seating request for no visible reason — not exactly the hospitality one expects. The pasta, which is supposedly their specialty, was deeply underwhelming. The seafood tasted like freezer-level ingredients, the lobster ravioli sauce felt strangely artificial, and the duck pasta had no recognizable duck flavor at all. Just bland, forgettable, and impossible to justify at this price point. Very small portions, very inflated prices, very little enjoyment. The waiter was the only positive aspect of the experience. Overall, this felt like a triumph of marketing over quality.
