My father and step-mother brought me, my husband, and my kids here for lunch. The service was top notch and the pastellitos were amazing! We’ll be back!

A must go place when you're in Miami.. delicious Fritas, Cubanos and Medianoches

As a Cuban-American, this place is almost a rite of passage. It already is quite famous with even President Barack Obama coming during his presidency and let me just say that if you're coming to Miami, this is a must stop. Similar to Versailles, but even more so, this is an authentic outlook into the Cuban Frita. What was once a staple in Cuban culture and still is an incredible burger. Don't have any expectations of what it might taste like because it will be completely different. Definitely my favorite place to take my friends when they are visiting Miami.

I love this location. I love coming here for breakfast. The owners and the staff are always so friendly and very professional. They make you feel like family. The place is also super clean. Never have I gone there and it's been dirty. Even when it was down pouring rain was the place dirty. Will keep coming back.

El Rey de las Fritas is legendary for their awesome Fritas (cuban style burger). It's a seasoned patty on a toasted cuban roll, topped with thin potato sticks. You can also order thew with different add-ons like cheese, fried eggs and avocado. The servers are great and make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is very chill and they have good music playing.

I had the frita with fried egg, totally hit the spot. I could eat these everyday. People make the mistake of going to a local Miami eatery and expect courteous service and cleanliness...it's not happening in Miami, just focus on the quality of the food.

Asked a friend to show me his favorite authentic Cuban food, he gave me one of the two reasons I might ever come back to Florida again. This burgers they grill are insanely tasty! With a 50/50 chorizo/beef patty, fried mozzarella, plantains, hash browns, and spicy sauce it is one of the best things I've ever tasted! Will be a bit difficult to order if you don't speak Spanish, but totally worth bringing a translator to try. Pricing is also great!

My favorite frita is from here. I'm from Hialeah where I have tried them from several restaurants but in my opinion, this place makes them the best.

Hidden gem for good cheap breakfast. Nice and clean place. Could use a little more business and if they spoke English then I'm sure they could attract it as well.

I would give it a 5 but the quality of the food depends on the cook preparing it. If you get the regular one, it is great, if not it is average. The wait staff is very friendly but no English :(

After our Airboat toure we stopped spontaneously and had a Cuba Sandwich. Nice and clean restaurant..

Great service. Thier masas de puerco are good go for that. Overall ok food. 2 kids, 3 adults, 2 beers, 1 soda, 1 coffee. 1 frita meal to go. $116 with tip.

Food is good but I prefer the fritas from the Rey de las Fritas from Bird Road place. This place actually has tables and is an actual restaurant. Fritas have more chorizo in them. Not a big fan of their fries either.

For the 1st time I attend I this eatery during normal business hours at 5:34 pm on Sunday only to find it closed yet there website and door clearly say 8 pm closing. I’m disappointed that the employees took there own initiative to close early not respecting the established business hours and customers needs

The food is always fabulous at this location. This evening as we drove up at 9:38pm we noticed the waitress holding the front door open. She was letting a few guests exit the restaurant. My husband peeks his head out of our car and asks “ Are you closed?” The waiting responds “ we are closing “. Surprised by her response because it was 9:38pm we drove off.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I took my family here and we had the worst experience. First of all we had to clean our own table because every table was dirty with cups and dishes. Then the lady that worked Sunday night on 9/29/19 was rude and tried to charge us $82 for a bill that was only $52. She added an extra $30 to pocket for herself. She is stealing money for her own selfish reasons and didn't even apologize for her terrible service. When brought to her attention, she completely disregarded us and took it upon herself to charged us an 18% gratuity, which has never happened in all the years we've gone there. She is ruining the reputation of this business.

Server charged gratuity without letting you know. Be honest upfront don’t steal from people.I even left extra tip not knowing she did this.I have both receipts showing discrepancy on price by 5 dollars not even showing that gratuity was charged. I noticed later and didn’t have a chance to go back.They probably doing this to many people. For this reason would never recommend this location.

The restaurant hours are 8:00am to 10:00pm everyday. We came on a Sunday at 6:40pm and they were closed. Please, at least change your hours on Google. It’s not right for customers to go there to find out your restaurant is closed. 😡

First of all, I ordered chicken fingers for my son and they were dry, hard, and almost burned. I had a Cuban sandwich that was cold in the inside and the bread was not toasted but old and hard. My mom ordered a ham sandwich that was supposed to cost 5 dollars according to the menu and the charged her for a whole different sandwich that costed 10 dollars and when we told the waitress she was rude and even got mad at us for telling her she made a mistake ...

The steak sandwich was not on cuban bread or had enough lettuce no tomato no mayo but alot of the canned stick fries yuck . Please learn to put more condiments on the cuban sandwich ask the customer if they want a ton of yucky stick fries not the good kind. Our server took her time when we got the check had us waiting to take another order very bad not impressed. Will never go back there to eat .I have eaten better cuban style steak sandwich. I believe you all can do better both in service and quality of food.

It wasn't well cooked at all. There were only 2 tomatoes plenty of the little fries. I also asked them for a shake with brown sugar instead of white process sugar.They didn't have brown sugar either.There is a mini mart that's right next to them. One and done
