Best bar in Miami - hands down! A great and friendly hometown bar, with awesome bartenders like Caleb, along with out of town/country guests from the hotel. I really enjoy going to their different nights: Karaoke on Mondays, Trivia on Wednesdays, RuPaul and movie watch nights.

These Mamas in Miami had a super duper "Manic" Monday night! So fortunate that they offered Karaoke! We got decked out South Beach style & had a blast!!! The DJ was a robust queen & the cheeky company lived up to our high expectations!!! A little technology trouble & below par bar food couldn't touch the high times! PS eat before you go!

Great Service, Friendly Staff and excellent Drinks

Stayed here for a week and loved every part of the experience. The focal point by far was the bar. Each night had something different going on and it was filled with friendly people, good music (even Doja Cat 😍), good drinks and a hunk of a bartender (Alex 🤤). The best way to describe him would be an angel that fell from heaven and merged with a supermodel. He was extremely attentive and very funny, definitely a shining star.

Finally went in to check out the bar. Awesome bartenders and drinks! Thanks for having us, we will be back!

Gay bars and gay saunas are fine. For $25 to relax at a gay sauna is a decent price.

It’s an all-around great neighborhood gay bar! I wish there were more places like this! Inside is fun and buddy on weekends. But I prefer the outside tables— great place for a beer or cocktail.

Gaythering is a very awesome intimate hotel, me and my partner stayed there for 3 nights, it was our first time in Miami, The staff especially Angel were awesome friendly and very welcoming, the hotel is super clean, the rooms are pretty nice with some very unique decor, lots of space and very clean, when we arrived we had a bottle of champagne in the room it was a very nice touch to our arrival, check in is very quick and easy, while staying there we had access to the sauna which was very intimate, and very Interesting, loved every second of it, lots of locals and lots of tourist but like I said everyone is super friendly and super welcoming not to hard to make new friends, When we checked out we had other reservation at the Axel beach, to be honest we should of stayed at the Gaythering it was more lively and more welcoming, Thank you to all the staff who made our stay wonderfull, next time we go back to Miami we will definitely stay at the Gaythering no exception!!! Cheers to the staff!!!!!!! Thanks again

It's a pretty small bar, but a great vibe. I was in town for the night and stopped at a few bars until I found Gaythering. The bartender, Rome, was great. Everyone was super friendly. Plus they've got some kind of event going on every night. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

This place is perfectly decorated, sassy and classy. The spa area is always clean and the staff is very attentive. The bartenders and shuttle staff are very nice, you can tell this place is a "family" place, all the little details are here! Really this is the only place for gay men in Miami worth staying at, it is a dont miss kind of place.

We had a wonderful stay. Friendly staff, very clean place. Nice room with king size bed, and a small safe. Daily breakfast and an afternoon drink were included, and so was the sauna and jacuzzi. Parking and bicycles available at no charge. This is our second time staying there, and we love it!

We visited the Gaythering and had a great experience! Chase and Franco made our our time exceptional. Franco is a great bartender and has nan outstanding personality, we felt right at home with him! Chase offered wonderful customer service and made sure we had everything we needed (he also has a sense of humor second to none)! Everything on the property is very well kept and thought through. We recommend stopping in for bingo night or trivia night!

Lovely little bar with nostalgic disco vibes for decor and music. Fairly strong drinks options though we mostly stuck to spirits. Rome was really friendly and a great bartender. It's pretty much a bar, a little bit of seating inside and several cute little benches outside. Not far from some restaurants but a proper walk away from south beach bars etc. Would visit again on a busy night of the week.

I came by myself this time to Miami and decided to check out the gay bars, found Gaythering and decided to check their bar. The staff are very welcoming and nice. Franco the bartender was amazing - the cocktails are excellent! And Franco was very friendly and engaging in conversation with me. The only issue I had, and it's not related to the place is the other people at the bar. It seems like there's an internal clique or just common snobbish gay guys with 0 social skills. I hope I just came at the wrong time, seems to me pretty basic to acknowledge someone's presence next to you, especially if they initiate conversation.

Omg this place is amazing! I visited this past weekend and was nervous at first because I've never been to a gay hotel/bar/sauna. I immediately felt like a sense of genuine community. There needs to be more establishments like this. The manager Angel was so nice and after a very warm welcome my butterflies were gone. The sauna was a great experience with lots of of sexy men, I wish we had something similar in my hometown. I will definitely be staying here whenever I'm in Miami. Thanks Angel and hot bartenders.

I also stayed in the Gathering Hotel which is nice and tidy. I would definitely recommend both the bar and hotel. The bar is my favourite gay bar in all of Miami Beach!

We visited the bar and sauna in late September 2021. The bar is always a nice hang. Great music, friendly staff, nice crowd, average drink prices (and SCORE — they had rosé). No pretense — just fun. This trip marked our first time visiting the sauna (three times over two days), and it was fun. Clean venue regularly serviced. The staff was super awesome. Check-in was swift. Provisions and amenities aplenty. Until our (most assured!) return, I’ll be gladly donning my “Gaythering Alumni” tank!

The hotel bar is fun, friendly and not overly overpriced which is good considering the great location! We ended up booking a Crate Room which was a huge mistake! Although it was clean, the mattress was a board! The pillows were awful and you can hear everyone walking around you! If the light turns on in your neighbors crate! It brightens the whole area! Enjoyed the hotel but do not book a crate room!!!

Pros - big rooms , very clean , friendly staff , well located Cons - I had a reservation for 2 nights but on my first night. A couple things kept me awake . Bar closed at midnight but people still hung out in the sitting area .talking , laughing and listening to music up until 1 am , my room was 3010 , it sounded like they were on my balcony , then a guy who appeared to be under influence of something started running around my floor talking to himself , I called security and she was a pregnant lady who said she couldn't do anything because her pregnancy and I agreed with her, the guy wasn't violent she was able to talk to him and he eventually left . I checked a day earlier because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to sleep again , I think a fob key should be provided for guests to access the floors and so make sure ppl leave when the bar closes

I have never been hear before and my experience at the bar was the worse. The bartender doesn’t seem to be able to handle a crowd. He doesn’t keep the order of Customers as they approach the bar. You don’t even know if he can see you because he doesn’t let you know he sees you standing there. I don’t wish this experience on anyone.

The worse experience at the bar. We went there for drinks on Friday July 3, 2021 and the Bartenders were rude and defensive after being catch for us serving Waterdown drinks.
