A magical Valentine’s dinner at 6 pm, last minute reservation. The branzino and lamb chops were delicious, though a bit lacking in salt and lemon. Overall, it was a wonderful meal with excellent service.
The owner/manager was adorable and helped us practice our Spanish AND Italian a little bit! The dishes here are deceivingly filling. If we’re back in Miami, we will come here again.
Their salad taste good, portions on their serving is big and service is amazing. Their tiramisu taste rich, thick and just about the right sweetness on them.
Ni.Do is easily one of the best restaurants in Miami (in my opinion it's THE best) Every single time we go there everything is fantastic; the food, the service, the atmosphere... Alessandra, Nardi and Jessica are amazing people, and they make the experience of eating there even better It's always a pleasure to go back ❤️ By the way, I recommend the Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, it's my favorite food and I always order it in every restaurant that I go The one from Ni.Do is the best one I've ever had! I always order it 😁
Nido is our go-to Italian spot in Miami — whether it’s a casual weekday lunch - dinner or a cozy weekend meal, it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service makes us feel right at home. Thank you for always making our experience so special. We love Nido! Dominic - Mike & Carla
The beautiful owner brings the best out of you and the dishes they serve! Tri-lingual.
A nice local Italian eatery with a family style vibe, casual and relaxed. Satisfying flavors in pastas and other menu items, good portions, great friendly service and consistently good. Warm rustic slices of fresh bread to welcome guests is always a plus! We were hungry so only took photo of a half eaten octopus salad. But you cannot go wrong with anything you order. It’s all good! Will continue to drop in for when the Italian craving strikes. Alessandra always offers great service!
Outstanding!!!! All the food was amazing. There was nothing we tried that we were not impressed by. We even ordered double dessert. Highly recommend. Service felt they were a bit understaffed but our waitress was still always near by in case we needed anything. Definitely will be coming back
The outside of the restaurant looks nothing like the inside and I wouldn’t have expected it to be as nice as it is. The food was well proportioned, and savory the bread was amazing too! I would love to visit again if I come back to Miami.
My boyfriend and I loved our Valentines dinner at Nido! The food was amazing, the staff was super nice too. We had an amazing night, will definitely be going back again and again and again.
The food in this place is absolutely amazing, genuinely authentic Italian cucina, so fresh and tasteful that you enjoy every bite (not exaggerating). The attention is excellent and combined with the cozy ambient the whole experience is very joyful, you definitely will want to go back again and again. And like if that wasn’t enough, on Thursdays they delight diners with live jazz! I didn’t have dessert this time, but since I will be going back, I’ll post any update.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Nido Café! The food was excellent – we ordered the Frutti di Mare salad, short rib ravioli, and fig ravioli, and each dish was absolutely amazing. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicious tiramisu and coffee. The service was also great; unfortunately, I don’t remember the names of the two lovely ladies who took care of us, but they were both fantastic. We were with our service dog and felt incredibly welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, like enjoying homemade food in a cozy local spot. A truly special and authentic experience!
Highly recommend the pulpo salad and Ravioli Di Short Ribs! The dish were so tasteful. The people here were very welcoming. It's a cozy restaurant with plenty of tables indoor and outdoor. Plenty of parking. Good selection of wines and beers
Stop now and come to this restaurant. This is easily the best Italian food that I’ve had in Miami. This quaint little restaurant looks unassuming, but as soon as you walk in, you know you’re about to have the best food of your life. They have a live band playing music, which is also really nice here. Get the short rib ravioli. This is a must. This umami bomb of a dish is easily, the best ravioli I’ve ever had. It is packed with incredibly tender and well seasoned short rib, and covered in beautiful cheeses and sauce. I also personally really recommend their potato gnocchi. This is another handmade pasta. That is absolutely delicious, filled with ricotta and potatoes, and served with an excellent fresh tomato sauce, and topped with mozzarella. Again, if you want some of the best Italian food you may ever have, and definitely in Miami, this is a place you must come to.

All I could say is WOW. Came for dinner with my boyfriend Simón for our anniversary. I expected a nice casual dinner, but this place exceeded my expectations. The service was fantastic and the ladies serving last night were extremely accommodating, quick and friendly. Ambiance felt like my visit to Italy a few years ago! AMAZING food, I didn't even want to touch the plate it was so pretty! & then I didn't want to swallow the pasta because the flavor was so delicious! 😂This is our new place to go. Great job guys!!. So refreshing to find somewhere that does it right!! If you are thinking about visiting NiDo, JUST DO IT!!!!!! 😁
This now one of my favorite places to go. OMG! Food is just exquisite, giving you a sense of flavors rich of nature, heritage, love and sympathy. The ingredients dance in your mouth like an elegant ball dance. You can enjoy of each of them at every bite. I just loved it! I hope to be back soon. We started asking for the appetizer special: lamb carpaccio with tuna and cappers sauce, the we had the risotto with the lobster and clamps, both to die for. But wait, so so good!...The dessert, was something to cry fo it, we asked for the cake with pistachio and caramel liquor sauce. It was spectacular!! The service is excellent, we had a confusion with our server and he didn’t bring the appetizer, because he thought we just asked for the main course. But we were so sad because he described the appetizer so good, that we were dreaming with, and at the middle of the dinner the owner came and give us as courtesy the famous week special appetizer. So nice from her. Please enjoy of a nice dinner at this delicious family own restaurant at North East Miami.
Food is great. Italian comfort food that makes you feel like home. The staff is very friendly and give you a personalized attention. They build a relation with you and even remember when you are back. I have been there like 5 times and every single thing I have ordered is just delicious.
went for a quick lunch . Had the seafood pasta . It was very delicious , the service was fast and very friendly . As soon as i walked in i was welcomed by the host and she seated me in the garden. the garden is very nice and cozy. Had the tiramisu for dessert , it came in a small cup . It was delicious too. Honestly cute little spot for authentic Italian. I will be coming back - waitress was a sweetheart!
Where to start? The bread was delicious, with olive oil, salt and pepper, or alone it is delicious. The antipasto, mouthwatering slices of meats with soft buratta..it was incredibly good. And my lasagna made with bechamel, authentically, left me so happy. You can't walk away from a place like this without coffee and this too was just right. Finally the staff was great. I will be back, often.
Great reacipamazing food recipes
Great atmosphere, delicious food.
It was amazing! I've driven by many times and never noticed the restaurant before, so glad I found them through Seated! Stopped in for a meal with friends and the food and service were great. We will definitely be checking out this hidden gem again!
Very good authentic Italian food. We had the short rib ravioli, squid ink risotto, the burrata, and the big meatball. Everything was delicious and the environment was warm and cozy. The owner was also very nice to chat with!
This is like seating in an authentic little restaurant in Italy. Friendly family-like service, excellent food, cozy ambiance. Perfect for dinner night! I will definitely be coming back here to try more plates. Pd. The fig ravioli is a must!!!
Consistently excellent flavorful Italian food. Owner managed the staff are friendly and professional. Excellent wine list. Never a rush - take your time to enjoy all they have to offer. A reservation is not always necessary but I would recommend it if it during a busy time. Love it!
Absolutely fantastic experience! The food is incredible and the service is outstanding: anyone saying otherwise does not know good food or service. This is a small, VERY authentic place with a great selection of mozzarella and wine. If you have the chance, please visit them. Worth every penny. A truly unique experience.
This place always feels like home. The owner is always there making sure everyone gets a warm and on point service. I love their seafood salad and the cheese board. You'll feel the great latin vibes in this cozy place. A truly little gem
I ordered Polpetta and it was delicious. I believe this place deserve this review, because everyone was super helpful and the service was excellent. I’m not Italian, but the food quality was great. The people in the kitchen and all the people involved in my dinning experience made it special. Highly recommended. Ask for Gina in the bar, with her charm, everything is better. Also Carlos the chef, very interested in the food quality! Great team!!!
Amazing food! Amazing food!!! Just making sure you get it! The food is incredible !! The ambience is amazing! Cozy and romantic! Nardi is unbelievably sweet and a great host!! This is my Italian place to go to for now on ..
Really loved this place , after more than a year without having a meal ou , me and my daughters and Granddaughter had a wonderful lunch at Nido . The antipasti was diverse , with cold meats , cheeses , olives , bread and gem All our dishes were good . I really recommend the octopus salad and the braised lamb . Very quiet Great Service And please order dessert ! Will go back !
Excellent quality in deliciousness. Not gimmicky, not pushy, just genuine food in a very clean and pleasing atmosphere. Prices are not the lowest but it's reasonable for what you get. We were too full to get desserts. Next time. Get the gnocchi stuffed with asiago cheese. Get the octopus salad. Get busy with your mouth!!!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant, the food is so incredibly delicious, I think it is probably the tastiest thing I have ever eaten. the waitresses are very nice and have a nice chat with you. the desserts are nicely presented, I had the tiramisu wich was creatively served in a plant pot, really fun and delicious!
Excellent! This was suggested from Vagabond Hotel and it did not disappoint!! Thank you!
This was our first visit and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and plentiful. We had the Miami spice menu and were happily surprised that the portions were normal size and incredibly tasty. The owner looked after us and was very polite and made us feel welcomed. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this gem. Looking forward to our next visit!
The food is really good! One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Miami… big dishes and excellent service… razonable prices 👍🏻
If you are looking for an Italian Experience this is the perfect place. I loved every single second of my time in NiDo, the place is full of details and make you feel out of Miami. From the moment you enter the door you are welcomed by no other that Nardi, Nido’s owner, she is amazing, it felt like I new her, like I was part of her family. The food is to die for. I had the Octopus salad, simply delicious. I really recomend you to go.
I been here several times. Since my first visit I liked the atmosphere and service. I have tried different dishes and I liked all of them, except for my first visit when the risotto was tasteless. There is consistency in the food. Appetizers, Entries, drinks and desserts always on point. My first review I wrote that definitely I would give it a second chance. Well, it worth it. This place is becoming one of my favorite italian restaurants in Miami.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it truly feels like a second home. The food is always delicious, the service is warm and attentive, and what really sets it apart is how they know their clients and treat them like family. It’s rare to find a place that combines such great flavors with genuine hospitality.❤️
The best Italian food in North Miami/Miami Shoresa. Pasta Vongole was amazing and octopus salad is from other world
This place is a hidden gem. Everything on the menu is delicious, and I do mean everything. The food and the ambiance transports you to italy and reminds you that sitting, taliing, and having food is still a thing. I frequent this place and I live 45 minutes away, because it is that good. At the end of your meal, order the Panna cotta. I've tried it in different places and no one makes it better than them.
Every time my family and I come here we have the most pleasant experiences. The ladies here are wonderful and extremely hospitable. The taste of the authentic Italian food is like no other and it is always prepared with love. NiDo is the perfect place to dine if you're looking for an atmosphere that is perfect for family and friends to enjoy spending time over great food and wine.
Tiramasu was to die for. The waiters are very helpful and kind. The food is delicious. 10/10 recommend the gorgonzola pear ravioli and the ribeye steak. If you are like us and like to share, these dishes pair well together! Lobster bisque is great. Sangria was sweet, just how I like it!
Easy 5 star the food is AMAZING and the waiters are so nice
A place of excellence. This restaurant is top notch Italian dining. The octopus was so fresh, I'll recommend this place to everybody.
Small hole in the wall but amazing delicious food. I had linguine with clams and it was the best! Oh, and the bread they give you is warm, soft on the inside and toasty on the outside. We were very happy that we found this place.
Definitely one of the best Italian restaurant in Miami! From the moment you enter this place you feel welcomed by the staff. Excellent environment and the food was beyond amazing. Their specials and desserts are to die for!! Staff is very attentive and caring which makes this restaurant even more enjoyable. Please do yourself a favor and try this hidden gem!

Second bday dinner at this lovely establishment was just as good as the first. The house made pasta is simply the best around, fresh and with incredible flavor and vibrant sauces. We had the grouper ravioli with saffron sauce and the Porcini papardelle, which was half gone before I could even get a pic 😆 If you are a lover of all pasta like myself, this is your place! Not a bad wine list also! Definitely worth a look.
I’ve lived near Nido Café for years, always passing by and promising myself I’d stop in one day. I finally did, and it exceeded every expectation. The service was what stood out most the kindest staff, a beautiful atmosphere, and truly wonderful quality all around. I will be coming back!
Looking for a classic Italian date meal in the heart of Miami? Well you found it! Food here is authentic and true to the Italian culture and atmosphere. The food presence and and table arrangements has a romantic feel to it. Maybe because I went their on a date 8 years ago and returned with the same girl but now married to me....♥️ NiDo is very authentic and worth every dime for the experience and delicious meals. (Not pocket friendly). Parking is very limited since its on biscayne blvd (US1) so try to come on non busy hours. Oh and their desserts 🍨 is official as well. I highly recommend NiDo especially for couples.
One thing I have found as a northerner foodie traveling in southern Florida, do not discount a restaurant in a strip mall. If you are looking for fresh and authentic Italian food in the Miami Beach area look no further than NiDo. The egg noodles were divine and reminded me of my grandma's, almost as good . The burrata made me envious as I try and try but I can never get the right constancy and you can tell that this is made in the kitchen and is t rolling off of a truck. My only advice is plan to take half of your meal home so you can save room for dessert. I wish I would have stopped eating the warm bread so I could have had a slice of limoncello cake.
Omg! Greatest octopus salad I’ve ever had. I ordered the Burrata to start, also amazing! Super fresh, gnocchi ripieni WOW!! And the salad… 🤯 💯 recommend!
I had the short rib ravioli, and it was absolutely delicious! The burrata and prosciutto were incredibly fresh, and the flavors really stood out. The restaurant has such an intimate, cozy atmosphere — perfect for a date night or a nice evening out. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!
Stumbled upon this little gem on Friday night. Intimate setting with delicious food and very nice and attentive staff. I look forward to returning and trying the pasta prepared in a wheel of cheese.

First time at this restaurant. Service was impeccable. We didn't have any meal, just cappuccino and dessert. Both surprisingly delicious.

Simple, very basic and not as impressive as I imagined. However, fresh and tasty.
Cozy restaurant serving delicious pasta; located in a strip mall. We had two different ravioli dishes, ossobuco-filled with a saffron sauce, and short rib with a truffle sauce. Both equally delicious. Service was pleasant, atmosphere relaxed.
Absolutely delicious! The fig ravioli with gorgonzola sauce was perfect. My only complaint is that food runners "auction off" food when serving. Our waitress, Lorena was delightful. Restaurant is very clean, with a calming ambiance.
The food was delicious. I had fish, which was very good, with fresh vegetables that were also very good but hardly there at all, maybe a mouthful all together. My husband had spaghetti with seafood, which was excellent. We sat on the outside patio and it was lovely. The service was very good and they were nice enough to bring water for our dog. We will definitely be back to try some more of the menu.
Delicious but felt skimpy on the portion size. Still hungry, ordering a pizza after burning $30
NiDo caffe is an Italian restaurant with two locations (very close to each other) that offers classic Italian dishes. We order the bistecca and the ravioli with ricotta and mushroom, both were better than expected. Great option for lunch, although we found it pricey for lunch. Worth mentioning, they have house made mozzarella and a curated wine list
I gave it a 3.45. (Entree 2.8, Dessert = 5, Service = 3, Atmosphere = 3) However 4 out of 6 at our table rated it higher than me. I went there hoping to have found Grandma's kitchen but...I think she wasn't home. 😉 If I would have ordered only the cheese cake then my rating would have been a 5 for the food. It was the best that I every had. It was homemade and baked to perfection. It was not sweet with a great creamy cheese flavor...loved it. I ordered their Lasagna that I read on Yelp was their signature dish. I was not impressed as there was no texture. The pasta was over cooked and the red sauce was plain. It was like eating mashed potatoes with melted cheese. Wife had the Risotto with mushrooms and of course I had to taste. Both of us agreed it was a 3.5, we have had better. The others had Gnocchi and Seafood Pasta dish. They said they liked their plates but I think they were being polite to the waitress and me (I paid...hahaha). Well...I have to say that we will return for Dessert and Coffee only!

NiDo Caffe Italian Restaurant offers a dining experience that is, overall, quite average. Located in a convenient spot, the restaurant has a welcoming and cozy ambiance that sets a pleasant tone for the meal. The menu features a range of classic Italian dishes. However, the flavors can be somewhat hit or miss. While some dishes stand out, others fall flat, lacking the depth and authenticity one might expect from an Italian eatery. Service is competent but not particularly memorable. The staff is friendly enough.
The service was great. My girlfriend and I ordered the pizza platter (which was frozen pizza) and the chicken Marsala. The Marsala was good. As was the house Chianti and complimentary bread. The atmosphere was nice as well. Our bill after negotiations came to $45 before tip. A lot of money for not fantastic food. The pizza was very disappointing. 😔
The food was just ok. I returned one of the dishes as it did not meet my expectations and was still charged for it. The server did not like that I returned the dish and her tone and facial expression towards me was very condescending. I will not be going back. I’m in the restaurant business, and that was not the way to handle the situation.
Service was good. Environment is nice. I'm giving this place only two stars because I ordered pasta with shrimp and zucchini and the description in the menu was completely different than what I got. Yes, I was given shrimp and zucchini and they were good. The description on the menu said white wine, garlic sauce. Instead, I was given a cream and butter sauce. I tasted no garlic and no white wine. The pasta was a bit heavier than what I expected and I couldn't finish it. This was the second time I've been here and the last. The first time I wasn't thrilled either but decided to give it one more chance. My husband is Italian and this restaurant is not authentic Italian food.
Went to get a takeout. The female waitress was rude. Even though it’s not a fancy restaurant, it’s not considered a fast food restaurant either. So I expected staff to be well mannered. Ordered seafood pasta, it was ok..
I love tiramisu; but for almost 13$ they gave me less than 5 ounces of dessert and it was mediocre. Not worth it. I asked it for to-go and they gave it to me inside a coffee cup and it wasn’t even half full. You go to other bakeries or cafes and they give you the same amount or more for half or the price. Not worth it.
I was very excited to have dinner at this restaurant, we were never greeted or acknowledged. The two waitresses didn’t even look our way while we stood by the door. This went on for over 10 minutes. The patrons seemed to be Argentinian and were not sat because we were not. This was 100% racially profiling and I’m disgusted we even waited for that long. DISGUSTING.
I wish I could have actually tried this food to give it a proper review. But unfortunately after two separate attempts to dine here, I wasn’t even acknowledged after waiting at the door to be seated for nearly 10mins—both times. I think I’ll take the hint that my business isn’t desired here.
Miami restaurateurs, especially those that have places far from "touristy" areas, such as NiDo, have to start learning that the locals do not appreciate being taken for a ride. Hate to give this rating, having been to NiDo on occasion, but the prices have skyrocketed across the menu since I have been there last, way beyond US inflation...maybe they are using Argentinean inflation, who knows. Yet, the menu remains the same, quality or portion sizes have not improved. Pana Cotta is half the size, double the price of what used to be. So owners have to realize that not all locals have Elon Musk wallets, and paying more than US$100 for a couple of pasta dishes plus one dessert (no wine, mind you) is something admissible to real gourmet places, which Nido is not. So while the food is not bad, the small portions are certainly not worth more than US$20 (some cost over US$40). So do not bother coming. Maybe advice will be heeded, and prices will come down a little. I will not know, for I am not returning.
Place looks nice, service was decent BUT as soon as we got the food, a fly fell on the plate. Food didn't taste as good as I expected, it it tasted like I was eating a microwavable dinner. Really subpar food for top money. I order a chicken parmigiana. It was completely soggy had no flavor at all no seasoning, chicken tasted undercooked, because it was chewy. Spaghetti with tomato sauce undercooked as well too hard for me not even al dente yet and tasted as plain as can be. "This is definitely not Italian flavor nor the cooks know what they're doing I will not come back here."
