This spot was absolutely amazing! Was searching for some good bbq while on my spring break was definitely worth the drive! Food was amazing flavorful and big portions. We had 3 dinners 3 drinks 1 appetizer and 1 dessert for $40!! Definitely worth the money. Staff was incredibly nice and fast, our order was exactly what we asked for. What a job well done I wish there was an uncle toms in New Jersey. Will definitely be back. Try out this spot you won’t regret it.

Had the two.meats special with chicken and ribs. Meat was tender and smokey and the ribs were the perfect tender but not falling apart texture. Beans and slaw were excellent as well. Tried the in house Dark Lager and loved it. Service was great as well, friendly and quick. Sad I am passing through or I'd be back immediately for another meal!

If you’re like me and have driven by this place a million times and was always curious about this little spot then I advise you to DEFINITELY stop by and try it out. I was leaving church when I drove by and smelled this delicious place and I finally chose to stop and try the food with my family and I don’t regret it one bit. This place reminded me so much of home in Tennessee, a real AUTHENTIC barbecue spot. The portions are huge and the price is reasonable for how much you get. The quality is incredible and I loved the vibe the restaurant gives off, it feels so homey and exactly how I envision a barbecue joint to look like. Onja was our server and she was phenomenal she explained the menu to us in great detail and gave us amazing customer service. I really was not expecting the value I received when I came here and they proved me sooo wrong. If you’re in town or in the area definitely stop by Uncle Toms 10 out of 10 experience. The cornbread was probably one of the best cornbreads I ever tasted, the pulled pork sandwich was amazing and the loaded mash was worth it. Cant wait to go back!! Been here since 1948 thought I would try it. Fantastic all around. First I thought when I glanced at menu was $24 for chicken ribs combos was expensive. Then it comes out and it's a massive portion, that was plenty for 2 starving people. Great experience Onya was my bar tender and she was also amazing.

This place was really good and it was very accommodating of our group with 45 people in it. The coleslaw the corn bread and mashed potatoes were the best sides and as for entrée the spare and baby back ribs and the chicken wings were amazing. If you are looking for brisket this is not the place. Everything I mentioned above was top notch

My first time to this place. Me and a friend decided to stop for a couple of beers. They had happy hour going and beers were $2.50 so why not! We did order some food as well. The bacon cheese burger which was very good. It came with fries and coleslaw. The burger had a very good taste. The fires were ok and the slaw was very good. We also ordered the pull pork platter and that came with Texas toast, beans, and coleslaw. The meat was tasty and plenty of it! The beans were very good and again the slaw was very good. The service was very good and they were very friendly. I am sure we will stop in again.

Our last stop before our return flight. I had promised my son a classic barbecue, so we had a quick lunch there. The restaurant is a bit dark inside but cozy. Service was very courteous and the food (spare ribs) was very good. Prices were right too. We knew beforehand that my wife, as a vegetarian, would not find much there. ;-)

The kitchen is a banger, serving fantastic, classic barbecue in hefty portions. Inside and outside dining areas both feel like you’re hanging out at a shack in the bayou (which is a good thing), and the service is more then adequate. Be aware that an 18% service charge is already included on the bill, and that the kitchen closes 30 minutes before the published closing times of 10pm (weekdays) and 11pm (weekends).

Best Ribs in Miami. Excellent prices, cold draft beer and good service. Should come to try the full rack of baby ribs. Also the stuffed potato and chili.

Expect the tip to be automatically added to the bill. The burger was second to none, and they have a very good sweet, savory BBQ sauce.

Found this great BBQ spot visiting out of town, the pulled pork sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. They also have great bbq sauces to pair with.

Uncle Tom's was OK. Nothing really to be excited about. The spare ribs and baby backs were tender and juicy. In my opinion, they were underseasoned. I expected to taste some good seasonings since this place is in the Latino community. It was just OK. The BBQ sauce was a little too sweet with no kick to it. The burnt ends were overcooked and dried out, I don't recommend it. Now the the pulled pork Mac and cheese was great. It's made with pasta shells and plenty of pulled pork. That was the most exciting thing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would stop again.

First walking into the building, it gives you the vibes of a great bbq joint! The servers were very prompt and quick when it came time to order and drink. The kitchen was also very fast getting the sandwich out. The pulled pork was very dry though and bland which hurt the overall rating. The fries and coleslaw were delicious though.

Very sad for me to see such mediocre ratings on a place I have come to love! I have heard though that under their new management that they have really turned the tables in what they are doing. My first interaction with Uncle Tom's is at their Pinecrest location that eventually closed down.......it was completely terrible! Thank the lord my experience here yesterday was nothing of the like and my boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our meals. I got the full rack of ribs that comes with fries and cole slaw. He picked from the lunch menu and got the combo plate of two meats, fries, and cole slaw----choosing the pulled pork and brisket. Oh man, were my ribs good! They were perfectly cooked: not fall of the bone (which ribs arent supposed to be) but very tender and seasoned well with a dry rub. You can add their bbq sauce thats left out on tables if you like which I did to my liking but I really appreciated that all their ribs weren't overly slathered and it was essentially up to the eater! My boyfriends meal was equally huge and they were very generous on the delicious pulled pork and brisket portions. I was not a fan of the brisket but he loved it. We both raved about the pulled pork and once again it was not drenched in sauce so you could add as much as you like! I would definitely recommend coming in if you are having a bbq craving. I ordered the wings and the half rack of ribs. Ate a couple of wings to try them out, and saved the rest for later. The wings weren't saucy, as I'm used to with most wings, but the skin was dry and very nicely seasoned. The meat was quite tasty as well. The ribs themselves were also dry, but not as enjoyable as the wings. However, with the BBQ sauce provided, they made an acceptable meal. Small portion of coleslaw and a very large order of fries were my sides. I wish there had been fewer fries and more coleslaw, but it was all a very filling meal. Staff is quite friendly, and entertaining to watch. Price is reasonable enough for a place in the middle of Miami.

Driven by this place so many times but never gone in! It's not my favorite BBQ in Miami, but it was good. The sauce is on the smokey side, rather than sweet; I like the smokiness. They also have their own beer, which is a very light-tasting amber. Not amazing, but a nice, unique touch to the meal. The food was good--we got the Three Meat Platter with pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. I like my brisket a little thinner, and the ribs were okay, but the star, for me, was the pulled pork. Good without the sauce and good with the sauce as well. We had chicken wings as an appetizer; the flavor on them was peppery, rather than vinegar-y. I"m not a huge fan of wing in general, but these had good flavor.

Rib eye was excellent so were the appetizers. The brisket not so much ,chicken tenders and mozza sticks were really good . Staff was attentive.

My husband and I decided to try this place out cause it was near our hotel and we love BBQ food. It was delicious - flavor is on point. The meat wasn't fall off the bone type but still tender and tasty.

Disappointing Experience at Uncle Tom's BBQ in Little Havana** I can't recommend Uncle Tom's BBQ in Little Havana. The restaurant may have the look and feel of a classic American BBQ shack, but it's now under new management, and it shows. I ordered the ribs, but what I got was something entirely different, and it was far from good. The brisket was another disappointment – it didn't resemble brisket at all, and the taste was off. The quality of the meat is very low, and I wouldn't advise wasting your money here in hopes of enjoying good BBQ. As for the chicken, it wasn't memorable – you can find better chicken at any fast food place.

This location has an 18% gratuity included that’s definitely not worth the service. Food here is amazing ! Kudos to the chef and kudos staff. But their servers could not care less, having the tip included, they didn’t even put an effort on the service they delivered. There was 3 ladys here this night, they were more into their own gossip that into taking the order or even checking on us. First she took 20 !!!! 20 minutes to even approach the table and take the order , they were killing the awesome vibe this place have with their extra loud gossip. I had the ribs and the nachos , nachos were ok but the ribs ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DELICIOUS GORGEOUS It comes with fries and coslaw. I definitely recommend ordering from this place. I usually love this place. I’ve been going since I was a kid when the original owners still ran the place because it’s a few blocks from my house. Their food has always been excellent and the service has been amazing. If you go eat there in person it is always a wonderful experience. It saddens me that I have to rate them lower because of their pickup. I never had a problem until a few months ago when I noticed the quality of the food when you pickup is not the same as when you dine-in. I can’t even blame it on the restaurant being busy because I purposely wait until I know they aren’t too busy to make an order to pickup. Lately the food seems as if has been sitting all day and just reheated and multiple times I have been missing items. Also, the fries that come when you order any sandwich, have had dried and crusted food on them as if they are being recycled from people who dine-in and don’t finish their fries. I hate to say this about them but I would hate to be someone trying this place for the first time with how popular delivery and pickup is nowadays to have this experience with a place that has always been very excellent and affordable. The food is worth trying in person most definitely just be careful when picking up your own food.

I was there for Mother's Day, what can I tell you? I ordered half rack of ribs and they weren't that great. That was a special they had they were good, but they weren't great. They didn't come off the bone as easy.

Always pasted this place on my way to work and decided to order to go. I love barbecue and this place is not it. I ordered quarter chicken, a half rack, with sweet potatoe fries as a side. The Texas toast tasted store bought and freezer burned. The chicken was over cooked and dry. The ribs and sweet potatoe fries were the best part and that's saying a lot. I most likely would not visit this place again or recommend it. I gave 3 stars for the speedy service that I received when picking up my order. At least they have something going right.

Food is not worth what we paid. The options are limited on sides as well as only a couple options on the kids menu. You cannot get the Mac and cheese as your choice of side. Was disappointed with the Mac and cheese. Was not a fan of the hint of garlic in the Mac and cheese. Wasn't creamy like it saids it is. Husband said the steak was ok. The crinkle fries were not cooked long enough and overly salted. The chili cheese fries were a pile of slop. My mother in law said that the shredded pork tasted like it was bad. The food portions were good size.

Got a rib sandwich, and it was overcooked and chewy. The sauce is just sad, nothing that says bbq. And no other bbq sauces were available either. The fries were great, but they had too much salt. The coleslaw was ok, but it had a vinegary tang that was edible. The owners need to take notes from franklin bbq and up their game. Mediocre bbq at best. That's my honest opinion.

I ordered a “brisket” sandwich. It looked like the Costco prepackaged sliced meat. It was more bread bun than anything. Had three very thin dry brisket slices and that’s it. The winner was the coleslaw and the corn nuggets i ordered apart. And the service was decent enough. Also ordered mozzarella sticks… seemed like I was eating old grease. Definitely other great places for the same price.

Prices have doubled and the quality of the food went down from our last visit. I thought for sure that the ribs had some type of grill flavor...nope! The meat was tender, yes...but it tasted oven baked. My mistake if this is the way it always was.

Ordered; 3 meat combo $ 35.99 Received Brisket, Pork ribs and Baby back ribs. Actually ordered pulled pork but since Valeria, the server, did not bother to write down my order I got 2 pork ribs instead. Came with small coleslaw, beans and Texas toast ( small piece of Cuban bread ). Not even close to Texas toast. Quality; All ribs were over cooked, dried out and tasteless. Brisket was sliced 1/8 inch thick, with no flavor and soooo dried out it was really inedible. Service; Mistake on order, never came back to check if everything was ok and had to call her over to take my payment. Got 5% service and they add an 18% tip to the bill. I find this to be normal when servers don't have to work to earn a tip. No reason to go back.

Came in with my mother and spouse. While she was ordering our waitress kept giving her runaround on the sides. Their menu is not clear, apparently the sides DEPEND on what you choose off the menu. I decided it didn’t matter, asked for it as a SIDE so as extra, she kept on with it and I had to make it EXTRA CLEAR I would pay for it as an EXTRA SIDE. Finally, food came out after a while. Needed to use the restrooms, mind they are outside, one stall and guess what? There was NO PAPER ( not even the empty roll ) Thank God my spouse was waiting for me.

Customer service horrible it wasn’t a busy night at all, at most 3 tables and 2 waitress. Our waitress was lost no knowledge of their menu. I don’t know if she was new or no motivation to be there. We had to scooped words out of her to tell us as simple which type of lemonade they had she said they had “a pink and yellow lemonade?!” She brought our appetizers together with our dinner it wasn’t hot, no napkins we had to get them from a table that was about to leave. To pay I had to go to the counter because she forgot to get our check. She was inside all the time. Total disaster and I can keep on going. Please give proper training to your Staff

The food was great. The service was good. I really didn't like the surprise charge at the end, and that is the cause for the low overall score. The 3% charge for paying with credit, I understand, but the 18% service charge is outrageous. Not only that, they still have the nerve to leave a space to type with the options of how much. I wrote a not on the back that if they want a tip, then don't charge a service fee. I was already going to tip $10, but because they took it upon themselves to charge me, I didn't add one. They didn't a few years back, the last time I visited them. With this, I will not return. There was no special service to entitle this. I have been to way nicer restaurants with excellent service, like Famous Dave's and The Knife, and they don't make such charges.

One star because the French fries are good. The brisket was HORRIBLE! Paper thin & I couldn’t cut it with my teeth. I complained but they just looked at me with no reaction. I haven't come here in several years because I wasn't crazy about it. I decided to give it another shot today. After about 4 years, I definitely regretted it. The food was awful. The brisket we're sliced super, thin, tough and dry. It was served in the bowl drenched with some type of sauce.. tasted nothing like barbecue, nothing like barbecue sauce. No smoke flavor.. nothing, just bad. The little thin pieces of brisket even had grill marks on it?? Why would they grill these ultra a thin slices?? The baby back ribs were hot, but microwave-hot. You can tell because the grease was dripping from the meat as it does when it's heated in the microwave. The ribs were also lacking flavor and high in fat. Absolute waste of 30 bucks. They don't even have fresh brew tea, only bottled.. shame. Save your $$

First, I rarely if ever write a negative review, but the brisket and sliced beef were sooo bad, I felt compelled to save people a trip here. The brisket was over cooked and super dry, bland with no flavor, and over-salted to make up for the no flavor. They put a brown gravy over it to try to make up for the dryness too. This Is NOT American BBQ. Whatever it is, it was not good. Definitely the worst BBQ I’ve ever eaten. Same with the sliced beef. Overcooked, past well done, too salty, and gravy poured atop to mask the bland dryness. The sliced beef was not as dry as the brisket tho. Then the waitress didn’t speak English which is ok but she should know the basic terms. I just asked if something was boneless or not. Table was sticky. I asked to speak to the manager and he said the brisket is purposely cooked well done. You gotta be kidding! He kept saying it’s a matter of preference. I am pretty certain that the general consensus preference is moist, juicy brisket and beef!!!! Here, the brisket was thinly sliced and almost like consistency of bacon. But super dry, reminded me almost of beef jerky with gravy on it. Ridiculous. Like I said, this is NOT real BBQ. Stay away if you want authentic BBQ. I asked if this was original recipes. He said original owner died. He’d be rolling over in his grave if he Knew how bad the meat was!!!!’

First time we've ordered food at this place. We ordered Baby back rib platter. To be honest, it was a disappointment. We thought the fries would come along with the ribs as shown in the ad photo. The meat was completely cold and the sodas were hot. First and last time.

Super over cooked and burned. Also hard. Definitely not falling off the bone easily. it’s a nice little place but those ribs were just horrible.

Meals were gross. We should have read the reviews before walking in the door. My husband got the ribeye for $24.95. Half of it was chewy fat that you couldn't eat. I got the brisketfor $20.99. Even if I expected the worst, this was worse than that! It was so thin, overcooked and then reheated again. I could barely swallow it without choking. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews before you go here. Totally disgusting!

Food way over priced for the quality you get...baby back ribs were tough and had no flavor..the brisket was chewy..I do not recommend and will never return..I don't even think they smoke the meat on a grill..

I can't blame the servers for HOW CHEAP and FATTY the inferior grade ribs are. Worst bbq we ever had in our lives. I should have turned around when I saw how empty the restaurant was at peak dinner hours. Disgusting meal. We tipped A LOT since the employees need to work.

All in all this was a place that I’ve been wanting to come check out for decades. Never had for one reason or another. Disappointed is an understatement. Food was terrible. Quality was sub par missed the temps and the brisket felt 3 days old. Side were just as bad. Corn bread was dry and Mac annd cheese was bland annd definitely instant. Avoid at all costs. Oh and they are nice enough to add a service charge on the check.

Perhaps the worst BBQ I've ever had. Super thin cut brisket was flavorless and tough. The rubs were tough and chewy. Definitely not " fall off the bone". I threw the "brisket" in the trash. Terrible.

Man. Where to begin. 1) The pulled pork had Zero flavor. Zero. They rely solely on the BBQ sauce to add all the flavor to it. 2) I got it as delivery, and when I opened it up the beans side, was in a container too small for salad dressing, it was barely a teaspoon. What a rip off. 3) The pulled pork wad, was 70% a giant ball of fat. It was an entire waste of an order. As someone who knows BBQ, this ain’t it. Do yourself a favor and move on. The only decent BBQ to come out of NY is Dinosaur BBQ, and that’s one of the only places you can get Sweet Tea in NY and it’s good. I was sorely disappointed not only with the flavor, but the consistency of the food. I will say, the portion was hefty, so at least my dog was full. Skip……this……place.

No faith in these ranked up reviews. Trust me, I can eat a rock when hungry and this place serves bad food. Stale, frozen looking chicken skin and no BBQ sauce + Tasted horrible! Baby Back Ribs ordered where not baby backs and not good either.. Waste of money!

I was thinking about a place to eat and happened to see Uncle Tom’s. I said, “They have the best ribs.” When we walked in, the place was empty and full of fans. We sat down, and I thought, “It’s impossible to eat here like this.” Looking at the menu, the prices seemed a bit high considering the conditions they expect you to dine in. My food was awful. I have never been to a rib spot that does take the cap off of the back of the ribs before cooking them . I'm here working from out of town and I had to go to my room and try to save them instead of throwing it out . And the brisket looks and taste like it came out of a bag like some bacon. I can't believe I googled best barbecue spot in Doral and this place came up . Not a good look at all

Overpriced like crazy ribs taste like plastic and are not tender whatsoever to much fat in the brisket and thin as paper microwave hot only bottle drinks 90 minutes to get our food every time we ordered we walked inside and then every waiter was watching a soccer game. 78 years being around needs to end now. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

The food can’t be any worse, chicken sandwich are so dry, pork brisket are under coook, so thin and chewy. Pork ribs burn outside and under cook inside

Came to Uncle Tom's after driving by with my brother and the smell enticed us, being from Miami there aren't many or any other BBQ places around. We have been to Uncle Tom's years ago and it wasn't bad at all so we did a U-Turn and came in. We sat outside and mosquitos started to eat us alive- our fault for seating outside. The real issue began when we got the food we ordered. I spend 40 dollars for the 3 meats combo, picked ribs, brisket and sliced beef. My brother spend 30 on his brisket and ribs combo. After some time we got our food and it looked ok at first glance but when we took a bite is when we found out the scam of the century. While I have absolutely no proof and I am not stating it's a fact the brisket tasted like store purchased and dry and the slice beef was the worse, the slice beef at Arby's taste better in my opinion. It was the worse BBQ we have ever had and honestly it felt like money throwm away because we didn't enjoy our food. If you're into overpriced deli meats disguised as BBQ Uncle Tom's BBQ is the place for you, otherwise stay away. This is a perfect example of how having no competition turns a place stale and complacent. I am never coming back to Uncle Tom's and I advice anyone who works hard for their money to stay away. An to top it all off a 13% service fee for 2 people? What a complete ripoff.

When I walked in the inside was like a sauna. No biggie I was craving bbq and the reviews were good. Hard to find good bbq in miami. Server was fine. Drinks were canned or bottled so I ordered water (US mean refill ) not with can or bottled. Again no biggie. I am a huge sliced pork guy so that’s what I ordered. I also asked for a 1/2 lb of sliced brisket to go. They said no. 3lb minimum. So that was a no go. It took about 10 minutes for the sliced pork with coleslaw and baked beans. First it was pretty thick…no problem…annnnd it was COVERED with a sauce. Looked like gravy. It was ehh tasting. But I like no sauce or add my own so I can taste the smoke and judge the bbq. Cole slaw was decent. Beans tasted like out of a can. And no salt or pepper on the table. I tried to cut the pork with a fork….was not happening, and then I tried with the knife and it was really hard. I took a bite. Ready to savor Smokey goodness. Yuck. It was like pork jerky. Every slice. It was really really bad. So I asked for my check, it has a “service charge” already added to the ticket. Did not leave additional tip. Paid and left. The entire plate. I don’t know how you have stayed in business for 78 years. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. Will I go back? I do t know yet. Maybe. But probably not.

I cannot in good conscience recommend Old Uncle Tom’s Barbecue for barbecue. I ordered the beef brisket. It was dry, chewy, and lacked flavor, and you could see the fresh grill marks on each slice where they reheated it. Also, there was a salty brown gravy on it. The sides: slaw and fries and BBQ sauce were good.
