been here a couple times and my one complain is that i didnt get Bruno each time as he was delightful! this place is to die for i love the food and the atmosphere and if you are lucky enough to get sat in the third floor the view is an added bonus (esp with good weather)!!!! as a mexican i can vouch for the taste and the feel of this place; from the place mats and silverware ring all being made in mexico to the staff and the food i love this place!

This is by far the most amazing Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The environment, the food, the drinks, ALL 10/10! Roberto was a fantastic server who helped us with any questions we had and made sure we were happy the whole night!! The Mariachi Band was UNREAL. They sang happy birthday to us, and serenaded and danced with us from the moment we walked in the room. This is THE place!! Don’t miss out on this incredible and culturally immersive experience!! 🇲🇽

Jonathan, the Argentinian guy, provided top-notch service! He's incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and kind. His hospitality is truly appreciated! The food was also amazing - I had the Tlayuda with chorizo and my husband enjoyed the Ribeye Tacos, both were delicious! We definitely will return to this restaurant!

We had an incredible dinner with my family, and Hubert made the entire experience exceptional. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Hubert took the time to walk us through Oaxaca’s cuisine and rich history, explaining each dish in detail and making the meal both educational and enjoyable. His outstanding service truly made our evening unforgettable. We will absolutely be back! If you visit, be sure to ask for Hubert—he will elevate your dining experience in every way

Loved this place! Great cocktails and good, authentic Mexican food. Would 100% recommend the tacos with ribeye. Unfortunately it rained, but will be back to check out the rooftop bar.

We went to dinner, as walk ins, on a Friday night. We were seated pretty quickly and Jonathan from Argentina greeted us. All of the food and beverages were very good and original. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!

Neli was our server and she was excellent and attentive. Drinks were awesome as was the fun atmosphere! Corn Elote was very good. Definitely we will return.

Absolutely wonderful in every way, especially Juan Carlos the perfect bartender at the rooftop! The ceviche was multilayered in taste, beef tacos with lime were mwah, chefs kiss! Watching the sunset was an added bonus. Can’t wait to return💖

Really nice ambiance. I went with my mom and my kid. We walked in to try the food and the experience was great! Our server Leisnier was very hospitable and attentive. Kudos to him for being such a nice host! Also the food was superb! We ordered Chile en Nogada, sopa de tortilla, cochinita pibil and the mamey dessert. Everything was delicious plus the agua de horchata was to die for. We would love to go back and try more dishes.

Wow This was genuinely the BEST Mexican restaurant we’ve gone to We’re from Chicago & we came to Miami & checked this place out. We also brought my dog with & they were EXTREMELY friendly. Our waiter was Jonathan the Argentine. So amazing so friendly. He even brought my dog chicken & water in his own bowl. So thoughtful & friendly. & on top of that- I have genuinely never had such DELICIOUS birria. Im not even joking when I say my fiance & I got goosebumps 😂 everything was a 10/10 Thank you so much for an amazing service we’ll never forget this place

Our waiter Roberto was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the whole time- the table side salsa was very flavorful with the right amount of heat. The guacamole with pork rinds was very tasty too! The star of the show was truly our drinks! The jalapeño margarita and tamarind spicy margarita were so refreshing and to die for! My husband really enjoyed his pescado divorciado. The atmosphere was very enjoyable with mariachi playing around. The rooftop was really nice and good vibes. Would come here again and make sure to ask for Roberto! He’s great!

We had the Most awesome night !! I cannot stress enough how friendly the staff and management was!! The food was on Point and the drinks were made in heaven!! Jonathan (From Argentina) was I think the friendliest and most helpful of any other restaurant we have been. I give it 100 starts if I could!! We will definitely come back!! Maíz y Agave is an amazing spot for authentic and flavorful Mexican food. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, the service, atmosphere, and overall experience are outstanding. Lorena, our server, at Maiz y Agave was great! We had Maestro Dobel Diamante passion fruit margarita and Reserva de la Familia by Jose Cuervo Reposado Neat Cocktails. For Appetizers we had grilled octopus ( Pulpo Zarandeado), Mahi Ceviche and my favorite Tuna Carpacio. Main course we ordered Perscado Divorciado And Oaxaca Casserole. Overall great ambience with mariachis and nice dinning experience.

I have to say it was an amazing experience. You can tell how much effort they put in the place with all the little details. The place was beautiful very nicely decorated they even offered Mexican candy! We did not make reservations so we had to eat at the second floor and it was amazing. Roberto was our waiter and he went above and beyond serving us. He gave us food recommendations that did not disappoint. I ordered the ceviche con maracuya, the portion was really small but it was absolutely delicious. Then we went to the rooftop and enjoyed the views. Would come again.

I’ve been to Maíz y Agave more times than I can count, and it’s hands down one of my favorite spots. The experience always starts with their incredible salsa and chips, made fresh right in front of you, bursting with flavor, and so addictive you’ll have to stop yourself from filling up before the main course. The drinks are just as impressive, perfectly balanced and full of bold, vibrant flavors. When it comes to the food, every bite feels like a trip to Mexico. The tacos are flavorful and perfectly seasoned, the pork is tender and juicy, the guacamole is creamy and fresh, and every dish is made with authentic ingredients and so much care. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for a casual night out or a fun evening with friends. Truly finger-licking good from start to finish. I can’t recommend it enough.
