Great choice for hanging out before or after a movie at Sunset Place. 4-7pm happy hour every day they're open. I enjoyed their Porthole beer flight, gave me a good sampler of British-style craft beers. My favorites were the Britannic Bitter and the Captain Smith Rye. Lastly the $7 happy hour menu food was good pub grub: I especially enjoyed the crispy sausage rounds from the charcuterie board item.
This place was the highlight of our time here in Miami! The food was amazing! Highly recommend the jambalaya and the tuna! Absolutely fabulous!
A great neighborhood pub serving South Miami, University of Miami students and faculty, as well as Coral Gables. Good music alternatives every night, including a very talented jazz ensemble and aficionados every Thursday, when they serve a full bucket of delicious chicken wings with your choice of beer for the incredible price of $15. Their food offerings are honest, well priced and high quality.
We stopped for a drink and to avoid the traffic. The atmosphere was pleasant. They have several happy hour options (well drinks, bites…) A unique selection of craft beer and the same production in place. We took a look at the menu and I saw that there were interesting, varied and well priced options. I will be back to try the food. I recommend 100%.
I love it here! The Prime Rib on Saturday night is so heavenly delicious and it’s only $23!!! Yeah!!!
Great little neighborhood spot! The food is quality, portions sometime vary but the consistency is there. My fiancé has been on the pursuit for Mug Club so I've been 3+ times and he's been 8+ over the last month. Servers are nice. The restaurant has observed social distancing in their seating, common areas and during events (like karaoke). Parking is challenging and the lot behind is a pay to park so be conscious of that. Overall titanic has become somewhat of a regular spot for us and it's yet to disappoint.
My favorite local beer spot 🍻 I have been going to Titanic since 2004! it’s the ultimate beer and fish and chips spot. If you’re ever in Coral Gables or hanging at UM you must come here! tell the staff i sent you!!
This is my spot when I'm back at the University of Miami in Coral Gables because this place is adjacent to the south end of campus. They brew a selection of their beer here along with the traditional beer selections. The food is great comfort food and the selection of food is amazing. Great atmosphere and it's not a main student hangout. The crowd typically are locals and visitors and there is always great beer, great food, and great conversations.
This is basically a bar in University of Miami. I ordered food just to check it out. I ordered the soup there. The soup is andouille crawfish bisque. Then Togo I ordered the salmon and the conch fritters. The meal came with a side salad. Overall the meal was good and tasty. There were a few students (I assume they were) sitting outside. I do recommend.

Sooooo good! The wings were awesome - cooked hard and so flavorful! The salads were fantastic with large portions. Jake was a great server! Definitely a must-visit!
We’re an hour and a half north of here came down for my nieces show at the college. First time here. Great food just got the burger and fries good, my hubby had prime rib it came out a bit charred but that man would eat anything LOLOLOL it was a HUGE cut. The live music was great but hard to have a conversation with family it’s not a place to go if you wanna have “family” time and chit chat great party atmosphere if you’re looking for a good time. It’s 11pm I should be in bed LOLOLOL
Titanic is a local institution and for good reason. Many of their delicious beers are brewed fresh on site. The menu is extensive and the food is a level above what you'd expect at a brewery.
Freddy, the brewmaster is hot! He has the best toes! More importantly, he knows his hops. Alex is the bartender extraordinaire. She is a paddle boarder, too. Jenny is kind, and makes the best lemon drop martinis. Roberto is an excellent chef, and so is Kelton. The menu is not always the same, full of surprises. Owner Kevin and manager Leo are quite personable. Luis from the kitchen is also warm and helpful. Like Alex, Brandon is also a master bartender with a sharp sense of humor. If you are looking for a great time, and good energy, you cannot find a better place than Titanic.
Decent place to grab drinks with friends. They did have a few plant-based options, although I wouldn't really recommend the bean based ones- got the meatball hoagie which was bean based fake meat, and I have to say, I didn't enjoy the texture or taste too much. Fries were good though, as was the dessert (lava cake with vanilla ice cream). Overall though, friendly server and good beer.
This place is awesome. We walked in and were seated instantly. The vibe is great; the decor of this place is awesome. Our server was nice and the food did take a bit of time to come but it was good so I didn’t mind. My fish n chips (get there sweet potato fries they are sooooo good) were $15 and they were immaculate. I’ll definitely be back
I wish I took pictures, I've been going to Titanic brewery for almost a year now and I've been satisfied each and every time with not only the cooks Nelson/Kelton and the bartenders Jenny and Alex are awesome. The General manager Leo is cool to deal with and will do all in his position to resolve any issues you may have.
My husband and I come here every other Friday with friends, or just us, and we love it. It's our hangout where we can kick back, have a beer and talk about our day. The staff is really nice, the food is awesome (get the bread pudding!) and the atmosphere is very chill. 😎 Thank you guys for an awesome experience everytime!
This place truly rocks! I had an amazing time celebrating my birthday here for Sunday karaoke. The energy, the music, and the vibe were perfect. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun Sunday night—karaoke here is a must! 🥳🎤✨
Great place. The service is amazing. Brandon is awesome. He always makes you feel welcomed. The food is always delicious.
Right next to the U Old school, locals bar. Clean and in the most amazing neighborhood. The triple screwed beer they make might be my favorite beer. Feels like an actual bar. Not a lot of those around. They let you bring in miamis best pizza from next door once their kitchen closes. But they just rolled out a new food menu that looks and smells delicious. Was not expecting this and had already ordered my pizza next door.
Great local Pub, with sports bar vibe and evening music venue, frequently with great local bands/ from blues rock and roll to acoustic ballads/ emo etc. Etc. One moment you are watching the Masters, the next you are chatting politics with UM law students. Great venue. Lots of parking. Wonderful food...specially the shrimp and grits. /
Great Beers, incredible food never disappoints, parking can be tight but I have never had an issue. The atmosphere is chill, local and definitely not pretentious. Overall just a chill place with good drinks and great food.
Beer was excellent, great variety. The food was also very good. The Buffalo chicken sandwich wasn't your typical sammich. It was a good twist great flavor. Prices were reasonable and atmosphere is chill with a good outdoor area.
Great menu! I had a chef salad. It was fantastic, chunkiest blue cheese dressing ever!! We got a flight...the beers are good. My husband got a caesar salad....it was yummy. Dressing was delicious. Would recommend. Wish I'd come her way sooner. My husband says the wings are great..we were just being healthy... Great service also. So hard to get good service.
I flagged Titanic as a place to try before I even moved to Miami since, from what I can tell, they are the only people in town doing traditional English ales (my preferred beer style). I went at 7:30pm on a Friday, which was NOT the time to leisurely go through a flight....because it was PACKED! So I came back later once a bar stool freed up, and I'm glad I did because it was one of the best beer flights I've had in ages. Every beer was good and some were great (there are usually a few duds on a typical 5 or 6-beer flight.). I was there for their ESB, which was excellent and may very well be the only one in South Florida. Just about everyone got food, which looked excellent (standard pub grub but there were some more creative options on the menu that I want to try when I go back). Friendly service, and the people actually smiled at me (a rarity in taciturn/dour Miami). My only beef is that I wish they could do growlers, or at least can their beer. It's so good that I want to take it home with me! I will review again when I explore the food part of the menu, but I will DEFINITELY be back. Oh, and at first I thought the nautical/shipwreck theme was going to be cheesy/lame (given the name of the establishment and what not), but it is actually totally fitting and doesn't feel tacky or contrived. It's a nice, cozy English pub with just enough nautical decor to compliment the ambience. No wonder this place has thrived for going on 20 years!
Great draft beer and burgers. Tuesday is burger day (I think they are like 7 bucks tuesdays) which I would definitely recommend with sweet potato fries. Some days they have live music. I've had the pleasure to hear some really good jazz ensembles here. Bring a jacket because it's always freezing in here.
Highly recommend The Titanic for your event. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They made my friends and family feel right at home. The food was excellent, slightly elevated casual fare and a good value for money. The conch fritters and pork sliders were real hits. It was a super fun venue to have a casual family party, and dealing with the venue ahead of time and day of could not have been easier.
I love going to Titanic Brewery. I've heard about that place by driving by every time I go to a University of Miami ⚾ game and it's walking distance from Mark Light Field. The food is always very good and I've never had a bad experience there.
Mannnnnn. I love that Titanic is a space stuck in time in all the good ways. I feel like it's the same space that's been opened all these years. Their beer is always delicious, their staff is always friendly and it's always a good vibe. Had one and done and can't wait to be back!
Awesome place to eat and drink! Beer was great, food delicious, environment cool! Loved looking at all the Titanic decor. Server, Emily, was very nice and helpful. Will definitely revisit when we come back!
I have been here many times in the past, however it’s been over 12 years and I am glad my husband and I stopped by! This place is a vibe all on its own. The beer, the food, the environment and the people - all amazing! If you have the time, try a little bit of everything you can on the menu. Delicious :)
I usually don't leave reviews but I have to today..... My lunch was EXCELLENT!!! I had the JERK CHICKEN QUESADILLAS & they were AMAZING. The perfect amount of jerk seasoning, not too much cheese, the quesadilla was toasted perfectly and the white meat chicken breast was grilled to perfection. THANK YOU to the gentleman that took my order and THANK YOU TO THE KITCHEN STAFF. I will be back without a doubt ☆☆☆☆☆
Went here the other day after a long time of not visiting. I’m so happy I came back. Everything was delicious and received super friendly service. Good to see that they are keeping up the quality of everything after so many years!
Titanic brewery never fails with great service, food and beer. My order was wrong when it came out, the server Chris came right after to make sure everything was correct. I let him know it wasn't and he promptly corrected it. Mistakes happen, but the speed and effort that Titanic's staff put in to correcting the issue doesn't compare to any other restaurants I've been to.
The #1 spot in miami! After coming one day for lunch 2 months ago, there hasn’t been a week where I haven’t come back. Not only are the food and drinks delicious (burgers, wings, wraps, etc), but the staff is incredible ! It feels like home every time I come in. Thank you Kevin, Leo, Jenny, Dani, Brandon, and everyone else for your impeccable service!!! You cannot beat this place.
We chose Titanic for a group dinner/happy hour of 15 guest and had a great experience! The food, drinks and service were great. Yullia was our server and she was amazing! The fish and chips are a must try!
Titanic is a great place! Our server Benjamin was incredible. Such great service and food. Will come back just for Ben!
Titanic is a true Miami gem. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. The laid-back vibe, great service, and consistent beer quality capture the spirit of old Miami. Their rotating food specials are always creative and tasty, and the atmosphere makes you glad you stopped in. All around, an excellent spot.
Great spot, just stopped in for the Tuesday night burger special. Simple and delicious and a great price. Tried their wings—also quite good. Our waiter, Eli was very attentive and friendly. Swell chap. Good vibe, good beer, ‘nough said.
Great option in Coral Gables, the food was very good and reasonably priced. The wife’s Shrimp & Steak was excellent and my Meat Loaf was superb and ENORMOUS! The beer I had was the fabulous house brewed ‘Shipbuilders Oatmeal Stout’. There is a separate dining area away from the bar, which makes for a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy dinner. Although located on a main road, access is a bit tricky if you’ve never been to the area before (like we hadn’t) being on Ponce de Leon Blvd with the Sth Dixie Highway running right alongside, the traffic in the area is manic. Also from what I could tell, all parking in the area is ‘Paid Parking’ (probably due to proximity to the University). Give Titanic Restaurant and Brewery a look though if you’re in the area.
I have always seen this place from the Metrorail...finally decided to go in and check it out today... Really glad I did - awesome pub with a great atmosphere, great service, and the beer is amazing (I had the triple screw draft). I also recommend the steak sandwich - they don't mess around.
Great buffalo garlic chicken wings. Recommend the Britannica ale to go with it. Great house brews. Fun place to hang out or watch sports.
Friday fresh clam chowder, special array of award winning beers on tap and full bar, Long menu with plenty of items to explore, authentic Irish themed pub nestled in the Miami University canes territory, Highly recommend , walking distance to baseball stadium and other campus activities
I've been coming here for years, the beer is always cold the food is always great and the service is always excellent
The service was friendly, the food was good (and reasonably priced, and they offer a nice beer selection. I’m very glad I happened across the Titanic Brewery for dinner on a Tuesday night (discounted “build your own burger” night). If I lived nearby I would certainly come back to Titanic brewery again
The is a great little "out of the way" place. You have the feel of a rustic British Pub in the heart in Miami. The food is excellent and is only surpassed by the service. I highly recommend their Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich. The charm of the place lies in it's namesake. There are bits of tasteful Titanic memorabilia through out that helps with the "old English Pub" vibe. They brew their own beer which is quite tasty and have several good IPAs on tap. Definitely worth the visit!
The restaurant brewery has both fantastic in house brews as well as local and domestic favorites, with a full bar to complement. There is a wide selection of food and I can say the tuna sandwich, blackened, did not disappoint. Parking may be limited since it's on the street and adjacent to UM's campus, but I look forward to coming back soon!
Brandon is the best bartender ever!!!! Only go if I know he'll be there to serve me. Burgers and soup are amazing...
Love this place, reminds me of the pubs up north. The staff are really friendly and the house oat stout is a strong contender to a pint of Guinness.
I love this place. Has the right atmosphere that one is looking for in a casual drinking and eating establishment. I honestly usually eat the pizza next door but the food here is all good too so definitely worth coming. The tap beers are a great selection. A business doesn’t stay long like this one if they don’t know what they are doing. Despite the name, they didn’t sink like the rest of the mediocre ones. This is the old school place Miami used to be that you are looking for!
One of the Best restaurants in Miami. Food, service, atmosphere, music, price, and location are all superb.
Titanic Brewery and Restaurant has the best food / fresh Beer yet. Yesterday I enjoyed the ambience an smell of good food!!! I enjoy being able to see the Super Bowl and I also loved the service from the server. They checked on Us Regularly and our Classic margaritas drinks were great. After two, I was all set😆 Surely I will definitely come back with all of my family and friends alike to enjoy this great restaurant great job titanic
We were new in town for a college basketball game and were coaxed into the restaurant by one of the locals. We interacted with everyone in the place. Such a welcoming spot for food and conversation. We ordered two meals but only one came. The manager (whose name I neglected to get) comped our meal and apologized profusely. The steak dinner was enough for two people. Drinks great and Customer Service better!! I highly recommend this modern-day "Cheers". I'm so glad we spent our time here, and we will definitely be back. To the manager there Saturday 12/7/24 around 3pm. Kudos, sir. Excellent service.
We really enjoyed the brewery. Nice beers ,I had the pale ales & a stout which was very good. Also have a full liquor bar as well. The food menu has lots to choose from but we just had a chicken quesadilla as we were there to see a band & drink. The quesadilla was very good. I definitely will check it out again.
Great buffalo garlic chicken wings. Recommend the Britannica ale to go with it. Great house brews. Fun place to hang out or watch sports.
The place has a really cool retro/vintage vibe that I enjoyed right away. We tried their light beer triple screw and it was pretty good. The food was decent, nothing mind-blowing, but definitely fair for the price. We had the peel and eat jumbo shrimp as an appetizer, and for mains, the sautéed mahi mahi and the pulled pork sandwich. Everything was well-cooked and satisfying. The only downside was the service. It seemed like they were in the middle of a shift change, and our waiter rushed to bring the check before we even finished eating or drinking. After that, we got our second round of drinks directly at the bar. That night, two rock bands played live, which really elevated the experience, the atmosphere was lively and fun. Despite the hiccup with service, I’d go back, especially for the music and vibe.
Nice place for good live music, craft beers and decent food, surround it by the university campus. Good ambiance, the staff, musicians and guest were all very cool. We went to celebrate my bf birthday on a Wednesday night, they had an excellent Blues band 🎷 Our server Brandon was super attentive and helpful with the special occasion. We will come back!
Repeat customer here. Cool Titanic themed restaurant/bar/brewery! Love the decor, vibe, and menu concept. As a DJ in Miami, South Florida, Key Largo, and the Florida Keys specializing in Weddings and Events, I appreciate the always great hospitality. This visit Chris was our server, and he was great! Thank you! We ordered the tasty Chicken Piccata with homemade, flavorful mashed. The chicken could've been more tender, but it sure was tasty! I often order the Gambas al Ajillo which are always tasty. Menu prices are a great value and portions are huge! On a previous visit, had the Cedar Plank Salmon with Rum Glaze and LOVED the taste, presentation, and value for the money! The live music is what brought me in several times, and have always really enjoyed the sets Then, I was tempted to try at least one of the tasty sounding treats. Loved the Strawberry Fog drink which was really good. With regard to the food, we hit another "iceberg" lol besides the desert mentioned below. On the Filet Mignon Sliders, one was soft (as you'd expect Filet Mignon to be) but the other one was tough and chewy. The kitchen was unable to correct it, and the manager only offered us a $5 discount. Our server Emily was a sweetheart and very attentive. On a previous visit, another "iceberg" we hit was ironically called the Chocolate Berg which was supposed to have come out warm, but was served cold, and efforts to warm it up weren't successful so we had to abandon ship! Lol. Overall, a great experience and I'd recommend. Food was much tastier than I expected, (except the mashed & Chocolate Berg unless it's served warm) and there's a really cool vibe. I'll definitely be back!
Good beer! Food was ok. Service was friendly. I was there on Saturday around 5 pm. The place doesn't look big from outside, but you see it is big once you inside. A lot of people was there. I tried local IPA and very enjoyed it. For the meal I ordered Saturday special: boneless prime ribs and it was a strange cut, part was very tender and tasty, but few pieces were chewy and not good. Probably next time I will order something else
Discover an exquisite haven brimming with delight, blending simplicity with greatness. An evening visit on Wednesday promises an unforgettable experience, enveloped in the tunes of jazz music, accompanied by a refreshing glass of ale. Indulge in delectable, fulfilling culinary delights, all offered at an exceptionally competitive price point. This place is a fusion of fun, flavor, and fantastic value, ensuring every moment spent here is nothing short of extraordinary. Shhhhh, ask for the Pulled Pork quesadilllaaaaaaaaa. 😆

The food was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits. Think: jambalaya with a side of grits. It took q bit to get the food but the server was very nice. I believe it was a one time thing. I also really enjoyed the goat cheese potato cake. Overall a chill experience.
Love this neighborhood bar. Food is an exceptional value especially on their promo nights. Can't go wrong with $10 for 10 wings and a pint. Burgers are great and the staff is awesome. Ask to sit in Samantha's section. Love her!
The beer was a pleasant surprise for a Florida brewery. Not all fruity. I had the mussels & sweet potato fries & they were great. The atmosphere was unique & felt like a neighborhood pub even tho it was campus connected. Service was fine, although not overly friendly.
Haven't been here is years... Decided to come in for a late lunch. Food was OK. Beers were very good. We had a Buffalo sandwich which my son wasn't that thrilled with. They make it like a chicken wings with Celery and carrots into a sandwich. My son wasn't thrilled with all of those carrots and lettuce flavors inside the sandwich. My daughter had a chicken Ceasar and unfortunately the chicken was pretty thin and dry. So she was so, so about her salad. My other daughter had a plain Ceasar which she liked. My wife had the Shrimp and Grits... She loved it.. I tried a little bit and I thought it was awesome as well.. The final dish that I had was the Jambalaya.. I love jambalaya and this one was OK.. Not as awesome as the Shrimp and Grits but not bad. Overall the restaurant was very clean, service was very good. Place was not full during the time we went.. We may be back sometime, but maybe just the wife and I. Give it a try... Beers were good, as they brew their own locally. I had a beer that's similar to a Blue Moon.. Unfortunately can't remember the name.. Worth the try... Make sure you try the Shrimp and Grits (My mouth is watering right now just writing this review... 😋😋)
I’ve heard they do music and all kinds of events at this restaurant. The best part is that it is located near University of Miami and the University Metrorail Station. It was a 15 minute walk from University Metrorail Station to the Titanic Restaurant. The food from their menu is expensive, but the cheapest I can find is their award winning chilli for only $10. Despite the friendly people and service they provide me, the chilli was very spicy full of joy and crackers to dip the leftover chilli! I’ll visit again when I have a chance with the Metrorail.
They offer a decent variety of beers and even some that they brew in house. Due to Covid the inside seating wasn't allowed when I visited, but they added some picnic tables with umbrellas behind the building so it was a nice area to enjoy a beer outdoors. Staff was friendly and burgers were very good.
An institution right off the um campus this Eatery has been here forever great food great Burgers great Wings full bar I go to place whenever you're near the um campus the service is impeccable CDC guidelines are enforced to the T they sanitize after each customer safety dividers everybody wearing masks great Ambiance they have back door seating if you want to enjoy your meal outside and great prices very affordable I must go in Coral Gables
Totally outdated, it really looking like the Titanic. The beer was good, the service was pleasant, but he obviously noticed that the meal (Prime-Rib) what's incredibly full of fat, even though we didn't complained about it, you be the judge, see photo! The bathrooms by-gender style we're dirty. Additional % charges for credit card payment
Its a staple location for almost the last 30 years. Ive been going for almost since it was founded. Much better bar food than the other places around and they brew their own beer. Service was a bit slow but it also got busy just after we got there. Small details in the place could be cleaned up or improved, but its still the local legend its been forever.

The prime rib was incredible fat, the beer was good, service while friendly failed to notice that the food was not eaten. Yet, we are not the complaining type. Very noisy, difficult to talk, this a bar.
This place is plain okay..not terrible but not good. The service is alright but what's most important is the food. All our food was overcooked. I don't know if it was the chef that day but it was all overcooked. For appetizers we had conch fritters. They were tasty but definitely either over cooked or fried in overused oil. My boyfriend and sister had the same sandwich - the Pork Katsu Sandwich which was definitely way too dark on the outside. Again overcooked with lots of sauce. They both said it was okay. ($12 each) My boyfriend also had a beer here and said it was flat, which is why it wasn't as foamy as it should be but didn't taste bad. I had the shrimp Alfredo pasta. The shrimp was a bit overcooked, a bit too white for shrimp. The pasta was a bit too al dents and on top of that quite a bit of it was stuck together. The sauce wasn't super tasty and left much to be desired. ($19) Soda here is $5 each. I'm not sure if we'll be coming again.
Titanic has been around for a couple decades, and I have frequented it several times, and have typically been quite pleased. This last visit, however, on a Friday night, left quite a bit to be desired. We liked the picnic table-style seating outside (out back). Service, however, was terrible. Not sure what happened, but there was maybe one server attending to patrons outside, or at least this is how it seemed. We had to ask for basic items needed multiple times and ended up going inside to retrieve ourselves, napkins, table settings, condiments. We ordered mostly appetizers and drinks, but it took over an hour for my burger to arrive, which was comped, likely due to the fact that the server realized that she forgot to put the order in to the kitchen. The food and beer is very good. But for the overall experience, maybe we'll have better luck next time. Edit (1/24/22): owner's response was very much appreciated. I think it's easy to lose sight of current employer/employment challenges in light of the Coronavirus times. The hospitality industries have certainly been hit quite hard. We will certainly be back.
I stopped in here with some friends for lunch on Friday and had a great time. The girl who served us was so attentive and great. I hadn't been here for a year or so but it's gotten better. The food was good with a more condensed menu than I remembered. This is the original craft brew spot in Miami. It's now a divey place with decent food and brew.
Located just off of UM campus, it seems like a nice spot to go for a drink and a burger. Thursdays they have a burger night: $7 for burger and fries. I came here for dinner on Sunday and had an alright experience. We were seated right away, but it took the server some time before they came to our table. The drink selection was extensive and the beer I had (an in-house brew) was superb. Unfortunately the chicken sandwich I ordered was undercooked, so I did not finish it. I should have gotten a burger.
Six of us went there for lunch. Seated ourselves because no host/hostess was there. Waited about 10 min for someone to acknowledge our existence and bring menus and take drink orders. Waited forever for them to come back and take our order, then waited another 2-3 days for our food. OK, maybe I exaggerated a little, but this was lunch and not busy. Food and drink good. Split the bill between 2 of us and decided to use cash, figured waiting for credit card slip would be another 2-3 days. On the way back to hotel realized they didn't charge for my beer. Bill was only about $32 for my 3 people and the same for the other 3. Burgers were about $8-9 with all the extras but craft-beers were at least $5 and I had 2 or 3. One of my daughters went to the Univ.of Miami for grad school and Titanic is adjacent to U of M so we had been there before and really liked it. She would go there for Karaoke nights a lot. I'll go back, its convenient and good but the last visit service sucked even though food was good and we got an unexpected discount. They need one of those reality show restaurant over-haulers to come in and teach them how to run a restaurant.
All good, great service but greedy owners. They did not ask us if we were paying cash or credit. In bill was charge for "non cash fee". First how many people do not check bill and pay with cash but have the fee anyway. There was no sign or notice of this fee anywhere. Second I have a business and I can not up charge for credit card use. They should not either. Be open and honest.
I was recommended this place by a coworker of mine and since it’s a brewery I was excited to try out their beers. We didn’t wait long and the waitress took our orders quickly. I order a beer on tap with fish and chips. And my partner ordered a chicken Parmesan. The place wasn’t full to the brim but there was a decent amount of people. We waited for a full 30-45 minutes for our food. Which was wild because the other waiters were checking on other tables who came before us. But sadly the night got worst. After 45 minutes we were ready to walk out but our food arrived so we ate. They never brought my beer. Which was the only reason I came I there in the first place. The food was decent but then a table to our right asked the waitress if they could be moved to another table because it was loud. Granted it was rowdy but it’s typical for a Saturday night. Then the “Owner” of the restaurant came out and I don’t know what ticked him off but he began to scream at the two older ladies. “You don’t get to talk to me like I’m a student”. Just because the two older woman just asked if they could be moved that’s all. We were absolutely appalled. Then he came back a couple of minutes later and once again he yelled at them saying “I closed your tickets and here is your check. If you don’t leave in the next 5 minutes I will call the police.” It was one of the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had in a restaurant in my life. The problem is that he kept escalating the situation every single time he came to talk to them. And I don’t know if he had a chip on his shoulder but he kept repeating “I’m not one of your students so you don’t ever raise your voice at me”. We are right next to the table next to this ladies. They never once yelled or raise their voice. It was loud and rowdy. So in order for someone to hear you, you definitely have to speak up. Granted the older woman weren’t helping the situation since they wanted to counter and argue back. But it was horrible. Once the waitress came back I immediately asked for the check. We payed and quickly left. I was so disappointed and sick to my stomach with the way the “owner” handled the situation. I will definitely never come back and step a foot in this business if this is the way we talk to our elders. I would never imagine bringing my parents to a restaurant like this if this is a treatment that’s they might receive.
Titanic is a classic Miami restaurant. Food quality has slipped to the point where I can’t recommend visiting anymore. Ordered a burger and it was thin and burnt.
Been there many times. Really enjoy the place. But tonight tried the Prime Rib. Came out grilled like a sirloin steak. Will continue to go back but I have to question the way they prepare their Prime Rib 🤔
I work at UM therefore the girls always order from titanic and I have asked them to order for me on many occasions. The food is good, however, the service is the reason for my one-star. Last week I told the team they can put the order on my CC. Upon receiving my order we realized that the Cesar salad wrap (without chicken) was missing the fries. We were charged full price for the wrap regardless of the fact that it was specially ordered to exclude the protein and really only included a Cesar salad and wrap. We called titanic and Kevin ( the owner) said we can go pick it up. We only have 30 minutes for lunch and there's no way to walk over from the campus and pick up the fries up and make it back on time to eat. Upon reviewing the receipt I realized that they added a $4 credit card fee and $15 tip. I called to dispute the tip charge and there was no apology, just a "come by and we will give you the refund". When I got there the server lied and said that the girl who picked it up said to add the tip. We know that isn't true because she drew a line over the tip area. Kevin was more invested in being right than service recovery for the missing fries and the tip. The server added the tip and didn't think I'd notice. Which he would've gotten away with, had I not reviewed the receipt for the fries. Also, who carries cash anymore?! a CC fee for $90 order. Again the food is good but definitely check the receipt and don't expect too much as far as service goes. My colleagues and I will not be going back to titanic as it's obvious how little they value customer service.
I really wanted to like Titanic, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. While the service staff was friendly, the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. The first issue we encountered was the slow service. Despite the restaurant not being overly crowded, it took a long time for someone to even acknowledge us at the table. Once our orders were taken, it felt like an eternity before our food started arriving, and to make matters worse, it came out at different times. My family had finished their appetizer by the time my main course was finally delivered. Speaking of the main course, my steak was undercooked, and I had ordered it medium. I ended up sending it back to the kitchen, but when it came back, it was only slightly better—still not at the right temperature. On top of that, the ribs, which were advertised by the server as "fall-off-the-bone," were incredibly tough. They required more effort to cut and chew than I would have expected from a place that promises such tender meat. The restaurant itself was gross. The bathrooms are not just untidy, it was dirty. There was old food under several of the tables. The whole place needs a deep clean. One bright spot was the beer selection. The variety of craft beers on tap was impressive, and I appreciated the thoughtful pairings suggested by the staff. However, that alone wasn’t enough to make up for the numerous disappointments in the meal. The service itself was friendly, and the staff seemed genuinely apologetic when I voiced my concerns, but in the end, the food quality and timing just weren’t up to par. It’s unfortunate because there’s real potential here, but for now, I won’t be returning.
Seems like the service gets predictably worse each visit. Table of 5 visited yesterday 1/18/25. sat down at table at 12:50 pm. did not receive our order until 2:20 pm. That’s just unacceptable. And it was a big joke while we waited that the last time each of us visited previously that it was the same situation. It did not used to be this way. If you are going to open your doors for business each day, do so with proper staffing. Would not visit here again.
The beer was pretty good the mixed drinks seemed very weak. Couldn’t taste the liquor in anything. I left this restaurant pissed just because of how terrible the service was by our server. Keep in mind it was not busy she had maybe one other table. I had to flag her down to get anything, remind her at least 3 times for any of my requests. I was very upset auto gratuity is a thing because we were a very easy group and it seemed she abused the auto gratuity to sit on her phone in the bathroom. I will not be back because of this sole purpose, I don’t know how you can be hired as a server and be this terrible. Be more strict on hiring servers!!!
