The waitstaff were very pleasant and everything was clean. The food was delicious. There was so much variety to choose from so I was able to try multiple things that I normally wouldn't pay for if I wasn't sure I'd eat it. I would definitely go back. There's more I want to try but I became too full to continue eating.

The food options were incredible and delicious. The took care of us quickly and made sure we had drinks and the dirty plates out of our way. The restaurant was very clean and looked beautiful.

This buffet is so refreshing and pretty! Atmosphere is amazingly bright and cheerful with so much Asian decor. We stopped by for dinner. There's so much seafood and a lot of options that I don't usually see at other Asian buffets in NYC. I love that the back had a refrigerator with different bubble teas and a variety of canned Asian teas and juices. The waitstaff is all very friendly and fast, lots of smiles. I'm glad we were able to visit the prettiest buffet in the tri state area! Military and seniors get 10%. Extremely recommend ! P.s. also my kid ran away from the bathroom super fast and I panicked when I couldn’t find her anywhere. Staff was quick to locate the distressed mother and point out the naughty toddler. Thank you to the wonderful staff !!!

Love the atmosphere. Nice, and bright, and it looks like an Asian establishment. Nice decor. The staff is friendly. Nice variety or food. The bubble tea is included in the price. Nice spot.

Amazing hot post and sushi place in Middletown. The flavors are excellent and the choices are some of the extensive and best I've seen. This restaurant can compete with anything NYC has to offer so if you are in Middletown, definitely give this restaurant a try.

Peche “Peche” Peche

I had an amazing experience at Uni Hot Pot Sushi and Seafood! The restaurant is very clean and has plenty of parking, making it super convenient. While the customer service could be improved, the food definitely made up for it. The quality of the sushi and seafood was top-notch, and although the prices were a bit on the higher side, the quality was well worth it. On top of that, they were kind enough to offer my mother a senior discount, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a great place for a delicious meal, and I'll definitely be coming back! You can’t miss them, they have cherry blossom trees outside! Look everything before going.

I had the pleasure of trying Umi with my partner and we loved it. Thank goodness it took over the last spot here. There is variety here to cater to just about everyone. Walking in here around 7pm I was a bit nervous to see just how many people there were waiting to be seated. Thankfully someone also waited informed us that we needed to enter our information at the kiosk . From there we received a text with a URL that informed us of our place in line. We had 18 people in front of us but we were seated in under an hour. This was also a Saturday night, so very impressive. It is reasonably priced and of all the things I've tried, I only ate tried one thing that I didn't care for. I can already see this as a date night staple when I'm too lazy to cook. Even the staff was funny as there was a gentleman that came by periodically making jokes until we left. Full was an understatement. Price definitely worth it. See you again soon umi 🤤🤤

The food is delicious and fresh !! So much variety. My server well that was another thing she was so mean and rude. I was not finished having my meal and she removed all my stuff . I was not finished with my drink and she took it all. 'IVY' her name was ....I don't think I will be going back to this place.

The biggest issue was the language barrier. Let's be honest, not everything at a buffet is going to be top tier, but that is to be expected. Overall everything was fantastic and they have way more than you can handle! Best part is a hot pot is included with the buffet! The worst part is leaving feeling like a glutton. Good job Umi!

First time coming here after our hike. Seems like a newly opened all you can eat place in the area. The place looks new and is clean. Pretty spacious place. Went on a weekend so the price is all day price. Have a variety of food. They have discounts for military personnel and seniors-remind the staff about it.

I enjoyed my visit to the buffet, I also try to only go to the buffet on a weekday and like to be there as soon as they open. The buffet had only been open for about 2 hours when I arrived I enjoyed the food, the service was good, staff was attentive, and they had a nice variety of items.

Cutest new place in Middletown! The decor and atmosphere is fantastic! Pro: 90% of the food was really good. Highlights include the pink heart-shaped sushi roll, the pork belly, the coconut shrimp, and fried rice. Mix of Asian, American, and Spanish (including oxtail and fried plantains) food, you definitely get an eclectic mix. Boba tea is included and super tasty! Con: Although there's a wide variety of desserts, most were pretty bland and had a weird alcohol taste. The ramen had a funky flavor and the egg was cold. Overall, great place and I'd definitely return!

Absolutely delicious teas. It was easily the highlight of the visit. The food was okay, but I didn’t feel it was worth the price.

The service definitely felt rushed. I have been to other umi's in the past that are definitely better than this one. I did appreciate that the crab legs tasted fresh and we're good. Their oysters and clams were not as fresh as I've had in the past though. They are currently running a special for a free lobster and steak the steak was nothing special but the lobster was really good. The sushi was fresh in plentiful. For the hot pot they make you share bowl which I really don't like. Its too small. They don't have the classic Abalone that I've seen other places which is sad. I think overall this is okay but I don't know if I would come back here again

First of all, take any reviews you see regarding this place with a grain of salt. The waitress came to the table with an offering of lobster tail and steak to do a review. She sat there and watched over my shoulder as I posted a five star review originally. I edited it after actually eating. The lobster tail and steak were a 3 or 4 out of 10 at best. I had high hopes for this place. I was thoroughly disappointed. The buffet looks amazing. Spectacular set up. The service was very good. The sushi is very subpar. The clams and oysters on the half shell had no flavor whatsoever. It’s visually stunning, but extremely disappointing. Definitely not worth the price. I won’t be back.
