Good high end casual restaurant. I had the deviled eggs appetizer and the California Pizza. I'm guessing they use a Wood-Fired oven because the bread on the pizza was amazing! Had a really nice time.
Had a business dinner here. First time going. It was almost annoying how many times they stopped by to check on our drinks, meals, and overall well being. Wood fired Salmon- perfect portion, enough to fill you up, but not gorge you out of your mind. Roasted cauliflower - hear me out... Seasoned, tender enough to not think of it a neglected part of the veggie tray at the Christmas party, and topped with some kind of cream sauce that set it apart. Not a huge fan of cauliflower, but I'm addicted to this. Price, well I didn't pay. It is probably a little on the high side for what it was, but seriously, the service you receive and the quality of the food makes it worth every penny.
When I say that if I had one restaurant to go to before I die. This is it. Been multiple times. Had Mexican chorizo pizza, the trout, calamari, and prome ribs dip and all of it was excellent. Service is great. If you are in the area you have to eat here.
We really liked this restaurant. The staff where very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the rather large menu. My husband was impressed with their spirit selections and I thought the cocktails looked fun. Our food was great and I would definitely come back.
The last time I went, the restaurant was full, but they had a table in their new room called the Tavern. My husband and I loved it and will ask to be seated there from now on. It was less like a bar environment, good temperature, easier to hear each other talk, and the seats were very comfortable. Along with delicious food, they have EXCELLENT appetizers, drinks, and desserts.
I don’t typically review restaurants but tonight I feel compelled to do so as the experience our group had went above and beyond. I called a few days before to make a reservation for a big group. Instead of turning us away Isaac made sure to make this a special night for our Special Olympics swim team to celebrate our time in Midland. This was our second year there and we absolutely love the food. Just wishing I lived closer so I could try more food on the menu.
The smash burger is surprisingly very filling. At first glance, I didn’t think it was a nice sized burger, but that plus the large amount of fries definitely hit the spot. Very delicious. Admittedly, we also had the spinach and artichoke dip, which was extremely good. I wanted to try the mac n cheese too, which ended up being rather underwhelming. Will be back to try the ribs.
I met a customer at this upscale restaurant in Midland, TX for an early dinner/happy hour. We arrived at 5pm without a reservation and were immediately seated. We initially tried a booth but the seats seemed too low compared to the table so we asked to be moved to a regular table. We were able to enjoy the happy hour prices until 6pm, tried some excellent draft beer. The highlight of my dinner was the main course. I selected the grilled salmon, and the waitress recommended I get it medium rare, which is not usually how I eat my salmon. I also selected an unusual side: slices tomatoes with blue cheese. Let me tell you something: it was one of the best grilled salmons I have ever tasted, and that medium rare temperature was absolutely incredible. The combination of the salmon with the blue cheese and tomatoes was also quite stunning. I am definitely planning to go back the next time I am in Midland.
Midland/Odessa does not have many nicer restaurant options but Cork and Pig is one of them and a great one at that! My coworkers, a customer, and I had a reservation and we were promptly seated. Once seated, we had the best server ever. His name escapes my mind currently but he was absolutely amazing. I would go back just for him. We started off with some deviled eggs which were tasty and what you would expect. The halibut was excellently cooked with a crispy outer layer and juicy and tender in the middle. The side salad was also perfectly proportioned with all ingredients. I would definitely recommend going to Cork and Pig for a casual outing and/or a business meal.
Really liked this place. They have many menu options, and everything I've tried has been excellent. The building and atmosphere are new, modern, clean, and open. They can seat a lot of people but it can get busy. The kitchen is professional and puts out some nice dishes with quality ingredients. I loved the french dip, pastrami sandwich, the soups, and salads. They also have fresh squeezed lemonade that is just right.
Great experience for lunch. I had my supervisor come visit and we decided to stop here for lunch. There was a line but it didn't seem like that long of a wait. The staff was super friendly but with the noise it was hard to hear what the waiter was saying. The food came quick and was pretty good, I thoroughly enjoyed my burger. My supervisor loved her pizza as well. We recommended the peanut coleslaw that was fire.
Flavorful food, nice atmosphere! There is a good selection of starters, entrees, salads, pizzas and more. Something for everyone. I made a reservation and we were seated immediately. The server was knowledgeable and helpful as we were ordering. There is a spacious bar inside and outside patio seating available too. Our party of 5 really enjoyed our food and the restaurant!!
I dined at the bar about 7 in the evening, ordered the spinach artichole dip for an appetizer, the bartender acknowledged it but forgot to ring it in. Ordered the wood fired chicken and the New Yorker for a meal. Notified the bartender we didnt recieve the spin artichoke dip. The mgr assured us he put our order on hold so the kitchen could make the spin dip. No sooner he walked away the bartender that forgot the spin dip, brought the New Yorker, and Chicken out. Not awful but definately could of been communicated better
A good chain restaurant with good food and a great variety on its menu. Nothing extraordinary or remarkable. We went around lunchtime. It was considerably full but we had no wait time. Our server Brooklyn was excellent and super attentive. The food was good and came out reasonably quickly. We liked the Tres Leches cake and their wooden oven pizza. Overall a good experience.
We had a reservation and there wasn't a waiting area to wait till our table, felt awkward just standing in the entrance....yes they had a bar to maybe sit but my husband had prostrate cancer and some things are difficult for him. Wait staff were great...my only issue was they left floors in terrible condition while management and other servers just walked by the messes under the tables, especially the table next to us. I'm talking creamer and sugar packets, utensils, etc....another server cleaned her table and walked passed that mess with broom and dustpan...yes it bothered me this much. Food and atmosphere was great
The server under PM carried the restaurant the other night ! Noticed there was multiple managers there and staff but she was the only one on the floor actually helping and doing things and she was bartending .. saw about 2/3 managers pop out with empty hands while she ran around doing everything she’s Definitely carrying the team ( managers shod do better there bc that’s not okay in my eyes )
If it wouldn't have been for the great service, the entire experience would have been 1 star. Ordered crispy calamari. Thought I was getting calamari. It was 10% calamari and the rest onion and artichoke. My chicken parmesan was a joke. Mozzarella wasn't even melted just slapped on top. The chicken itself was about 1/8 inch thick with an inch of breading. The ribeye was so small, it wouldn't have even fed my 11 year old, and $57 is just ridiculous! And the noise in the place, can't even have a conversation. What was supposed to be a great date night, turned into going to HEB for dessert and snacks because the meal was so disappointing, did not even dare to attempt to dessert.
First, we called this restaurant four times and no one answered. We needed to do a to go order. My vision is compromised and I am unable to read a menu on line. So, my husband made a trip to the restaurant to ask if they had a paper menu we could take home. The answer was no. I ask to speak to the manager on the phone. She said they did not even have enough menus for the tables in the dining room and though she had ordered more, she had no idea when they would come in. It could be perhaps a month. I ask if we could take one then and copy it and bring it back. She said I could keep calling until they came in and she would consider my request. So, my husband just decided to read the menu to me over the phone and that would do for tonight. It was noisy inside so he asked if he could take the menu outside and read it to me. They said no. He had to stay inside with it and read it to me there. He left. And has said he will never go back. We have really liked Cork and Pig in Odessa. Perhaps it’s just this location and the manager on duty. But, we will not go back if this is how they treat customers who need a little special help.
