First time here and wow this place was great! The decor, service, and food was excellent!!! I highly recommend dining here.

The server was below average for Midland, but the food was excellent. They do automatically add 18% gratuity so don't be tricked into double tipping on the receipt. The food was worth it . Restaurant was clean and menu easy to understand.

Food was very delicious! We got the crispy shrimp, which the shrimp are HUGE!! And we got the cumin lamb, which was one of the best lambs I have had in a LONG time. I think I liked it better than the shrimp. My daughter had the lo mein. Definitely will be back.

So glad that I found this unique authentic Szechuan style place. The food were awesome, and the service was great. I love their Szechuan double cooked pork, hot and spicy chicken, and Foil wrapped beef with peanuts. I will definitely come back and bring my friend and family in !!! :)

Went here today with four other coworkers. We wanted to try a new spot and overall this place did not disappoint. The service was quick and the drinks were kept filled. The food was also quick and tasted delicious. When in Midland we will definitely return to this restaurant.

It was great! I ordered the Lou main with a side of rice and man it was amazing! The waitress was on top of our drinks and making sure we had everything and made sure our food was right. Came out 10 mins later after we ordered hot and ready! I will come back !

Great food! When the food is ready they bring it out. Even if just one dish is ready. They’re not gonna let one dish get cold waiting on the other dish. They are definitely not fast food. Everything is made fresh so it may take 15 minutes or more. Below is the general Taos chicken and beef and broccoli which was amazing. Enjoy!

At last a place that serves authentic twice cooked pork !! We devoured this dish. A great vegetarian option is the eggplant in garlic -chili sauce plus fried tofu. Great sauce and eggplant cooked well. We also tried the Peking chicken (I must say bold move to even have that on the menu). It was ok - flavor and the cook was spot , however skin not crispy. A good fix if you need it. I’m excited to go back. Next time I would try: cumin lamb, salt and pepper pork ribs (or shrimp), sautéed green beans, lobster in ginger sauce, flounder fish if you want the Szechuan flavor!

I had family come down for my early birthday celebration and we decided to try this place out.. We were not disappointed. They were patient with us and helped us individually with our orders and explained everything. Thank you for your patience and kindness and the food was Delicious. We will definitely come back!

We went to Szechuan House last night and it didn’t disappoint!! We ordered the Szechuan Crispy Beef, Kung Pao Chicken and the kids meal sweet and sour chicken. Food portions were huge. Very nice atmosphere and the server was very friendly and attentive.

Looking for place to eat? EAT HERE! Ask for Justin Me and my boyfriend order the same thing all the time, never venture out. Lo Mein, orange chicken and fried rice. Still very good but it was time for a change. The first time we dined in, Our waiter Justin asked if he could surprise us with a appetizer of his choice so that we could try something new, and we loved it. This time we came and had a great date idea. To let him choose what we eat, he asked what meat we liked, spicy or not spicy, and he surprised us. I see some people complain about it being pricey but you get what you payed for and I always have leftover to take back home. Other than that it’s also very clean, people are very nice and patient, easy to read menu, a variety of options, you can dine in and carry out.

NOT fast food, Szechuan House is an authentic sit-down Chinese restaurant with a menu packed full of shareable plates . The service was great and the food quality could easily rival restaurants in larger metropolitan areas like Dallas/Houston. ++ the restaurant had a great atmosphere as an added bonus. We tried the crispy Szechuan beef, salt and pepper squid, orange chicken, and appetizer sampler. Everything tasted great and we had more than enough for us to have for both lunch and dinner. Please note: as mentioned, most of their plates are meant to be shared, so keep that in mind when ordering! The portions we received were exactly what we expected for the quality and price.

We stopped here while passing through the area. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server took our drink orders. Upon return with our drinks we put in our food order. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken which was unbelievable, so delicious and had a nice spice level. My partner ordered the Orange Chicken which was cooked to perfection. The fried pieces of chicken were lightly cooked to give a nice crunch but not over cooked and the sauce had actual orange zest in it. Had a little spice not a lot but just enough to give it some favor. The service was outstanding with both servers checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was very clean as were the restrooms. Will be returning next time we are in the area.

Love it here not just because it’s valentines but super clean, the staff was very kind, & the food amazing. We drove in from Lubbock and will be visiting again when we come back.

I had the country stir fried lamb and my friend had a tofu dish. We also had the seaweed salad and takoyaki. Both AMAZING!!! This is my new favorite place and I can't wait to go back. I'm going to try everything on the menu no matter how long it takes 😁. Prices were reasonable for most everything. There were a couple of items that were maybe a little overpriced but if they taste as good as the things we had I'd pay it.

They even put tape on my daughter’s lid to prevent her from spilling it, everything we have tried has been fresh, and flavorful. It is extremely clean on the inside (including the restrooms), the food comes out quickly, and is always very hot. I highly recommend this place! (Can’t say that about many other places here in midland, most have terrible service and subpar food quality and flavor)

I sooooooo love their sausage fried rice!! Seasoned great!! Regular fried rice is plain til you add soy sauce but with this place they have different kind of seasoning and no need for soy sauce!!! Hubby bought black bean and came with white rice he loves it. The sauce is tasty too... my sister got house seafood soup and the bowl is huge..lol..and she said it tastes great!!! Y'all gotta come and try it out!!!!

The price was incredibly reasonable for a Chinese dish including rice, with the total bill coming in at under $15, including tax. The portion size was generous, to say the least. Even as a 5-foot 8-inch, 70kg man, I could only finish half of the meal and already felt fully satisfied. The taste of the food was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed their silky smooth scrambled eggs with tender beef. The beef was perfectly cooked, not dry or tough at all. The combination of flavors was excellent with some vegetable in it. I will definitely be returning to try more of their menu.

Authentic Chinese food… with the Tangy note of the Chinese 5th taste, Szechuan peppercorns on my plate! I had Peking Duck… delicious, tender, well cook and well presented. My plate was served in a cute fire plate that keep my dish in fire while I ate. The service was very good and nice by Chinese team… I ask to one the guys for recommendations for my next visit. I grabbed a Menu to go, to call and order from home.. my mission is to try all the plates from the menu.

Hands down the best Chinese food in East Texas. We were thrown off by the location and drive thru but when you walk in it's immaculately clean. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Every table had multiple food items in front of them so we tried the sweet and sour chicken, Singapore noodles and low mein. We had to force ourselves to stop eating, it was that good. We almost finished 3 dishes between the two of us. If we weren't on this dumb health kick and diet, we would eat here at least 3 times a week. We will definitely be back soon ... Update- We ended up eating here twice a week over the past month. This place is dangerously good. It's now the only restaurant we go to as a "cheat" day.

Definitely an original recipe. my wife orders the chow main with chicken which is also amazing. It was prety good food. My wife wants to go back. I think I'll stay home that night. The service was not that great they need some in that. But the cost not that bad but not that good.

Ordered the ginger lobster and orange chicken with spring and pork egg rolls. Food was good. The ginger lobster was deep fried with chunks of shell still attached which threw me off but maybe that’s the intended style.

**UPDATED 11/23** Kung Pao Chicken Vegetables werent cooked enough, spice was only in the chilis not in the rest of the dish. Beef and broccoli meat was a little on the tough side broccoli undercooked average flavor. I can only recommend the Beef Boil Soup at this point** (old review)Man!! First off let me tell you, when you sit in a Chinese restaurant and see Asian people eating there that don't work there you'll probably gonna be in for a good time!! We'll that's was the case!! I ordered the Boiled Beef!! Oh my lord! The bowl was Ginormous!! After it cooled down I managed to get a bite!! The flavors just exploded, fresh, spicy so delicious!! I'm very excited and eager to go back and try the other dishes!! This is the best Chinese I've had in over 15 years!! Highly recommended!! 😋😋🤩😁👍

The fried rice was dark and the flavor was awful. The noodles was watery. The egg flower soup was tasteless. The price was too high for not having enough good choices...and the waiter asked for a tip and was very rude showing no respect for the guests.so bad！

The service was good, food was hot, but the General TSO Chicken dish was terrible. Each nugget was mostly batter with the chicken piece the size of a pea. I paid $28 for this dish and 2 spring rolls, which were very greasy with little stuffing. I will most definitely not be returning for this dish. With the pice of this dish, I expect more meat.
