Esperienza indimenticabile in una cornice davvero suggestiva. Matteo Gabrielli, Chef dell’elegante location ospitata all’interno dell’Hotel Principe di Savoia Dorchester Collection di Milano, presenta un menu autunnale, pensato per accogliere i clienti con i sapori rassicuranti di stagione e per celebrare le sue radici lombarde. La proposta riflette la sua filosofia di cucina: essenziale e ricercata, costruita attorno a ingredienti locali di altissima qualità, che esaltano il legame con il territorio. Si può scegliere fra due percorsi: un raffinato menu degustazione e un'ampia selezione alla carta (la mia scelta). Da non perdere: Tartare di gambero rosa, gazpacho al melograno, composta di limone salato e nasturzio, Risotto al prezzemolo con merluzzo marinato e polvere di limone, Trancio di branzino con crosta di porcini, topina Hamburg al burro, Fasola e salsa al Franciacorta
Nonostante viva a milano ho scoperto tardi questo ristorante ma fortunatamente l’ho scoperto . Staff gentilissimo , attento , veloce . Cibo buonissimo . I miei ospiti son rimasti super Soddisfatti . Poi tocco super , la suite del Natale . Tutto incredibile, complimenti !
Entrando al ristorante e mi sono recato a far colazione. Mi son sentito il benvenuto. Mi hanno dato delle opzioni su dove preferivo sedermi. Il servizio è stato attento, professionale e cortese durante la prima colazione. Buffet ricco dai dolci al salato passando per la frutta, con torte squisite. Ambiente: illuminazione soffusa lampadari di Murano e giochi di luci. Splendidi pavimenti in marmo. Mi son divertito. Lasciamo parlare le foto.
Arriviamo alle 22.30, con prenotazione e la cucina sta per chiudere, ma un gentilissimo staff ci fa accomodare, ordinare senza metterci fretta e goderci una splendida cena. Già questo perfetto approccio mirato a soddisfare il cliente meriterebbe un voto altissimo. Ma non è solo questo, perché il menù è invitante, i piatti elaborati con arte, i sapori originali e ben definiti. Menzione particolare ad un prelibato risotto cacio e pepe con riccio di mare e agli spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino e polipo. Ottimi anche gli antipasti (le tre alici e gli scampi crudi) . Le melanzane alla parmigiana, non fritte, potrebbero fare gridare allo scandalo, ma invece sono ottime. Di gran livello anche i dolci. Servizio curato, gentile, professionale con una giusta familiarità. Conto più che corretto.
Ristorante eccellente oltre che sublime. Ho festeggiato il mio anniversario in questo ristorante, facente parte del principe di Savoia, e sono rimasto folgorato dall opulenza degli interni. La cucina qualcosa di speciale e superbo. Clientela all altezza, persone di classe ed educate. Se dovessi dare un voto da 0a10 direi 11. Qualità/prezzo mi aspettavo di pagar di più francamente, tuttavia se si va in questi posti é bene equipaggiarsi.
Locale fantastico, con il servizio molto cordiale e professionale. Abbiamo preso la menu degustazione,i piatti sono molto particolari e particolarmente buoni! Da antipasto al dolce ti sazia ma non oltrepassa il limite, ti fa venir voglia di sapere cosa ci sara per il prossimo piatto! Il dolce super particolare fatto in forma di pera ma non lo e'!
All' interno dell' hotel principe di savoia situato tra il centro e la stazione centrale lo chef buffolino dirige la cucina di quest' ultimo con un menu' degustazione stellare i piatti parlano da soli solo a guardarli poi il gusto esplosivo il tutto condito con una location che rende questo albergo uno dei piu' belli di milano direi il numero naturalmente personale e servizio all' altezza.
Ho trascorso qua un sabato sera con il mio ragazzo. Si trova non lontano dalla stazione centrale di Milano all’interno dell’Hotel Principe di Savoia. Il locale lascia incantati, al suo interno veramente mozzafiato. Il cibo è molto buono e di qualità, peccato per l’attesa un pochino lunga per i piatti ma ci si dimentica godendo il buon ambiente Consiglio a tutti di consumare qua una cena
Ristorante magnifico ed elegante ospitato dal noto Hotel Principe di Savoia. Accoglienza ed eleganza sono il punto forte di questa location, senza nulla togliere alla qualità del cibo e alla preparazione delle pietanze da parte dello chef. Ci ho pranzato oggi e sono rimasto deliziato. Mi è stato servito un piccolo antipastino, molto buono, in attesa del primo piatto (Linguine al pesto con tartare di gambero). A seguire ho assaggiato il filetto di manzo e infine il tiramisù. Prima del dolce, ho avuto anche modo di assaggiare uno smoothie alla pesca e il caffè era accompagnato da biscottini vari. Personale cortese, disponibile e attento ai clienti. Il servizio è stato abbastanza veloce. Che dire, posto consigliato.
Brunch di assoluta eccellenza al Principe di Savoia. L’atmosfera è estremamente raffinata ed elegante, il servizio impeccabile e attento in ogni momento, e la proposta gastronomica di altissimo livello, curata nei minimi dettagli. Un’esperienza esclusiva che conferma l’eccellenza della struttura.
Abbiamo provato il brunch domenicale, formula che prevede diverse isole per il buffet di antipasti (vegetariana, panetteria, crudi di mare e crudi di carne), un primo ed un secondo a scelta ed infine buffet di dolci. La cucina era ottima, il personale cortese e l'ambiente elegante ma non al punto da metterti in soggezione. Lo consiglio vivamente.

La degustazione a base di piatti al tartufo è stata assolutamente straordinaria, con sapori raffinati ed equilibrati che hanno esaltato la qualità delle materie prime. Ogni portata era un viaggio di gusto che sorprendeva e deliziava il palato. L’ambiente è semplicemente magico: gli addobbi curati da Armani donano un’eleganza senza pari, creando un’atmosfera che sa di emozioni e lusso. Ogni dettaglio, dagli arredi alla mise en place, è stato studiato per offrire un’esperienza sensoriale completa. Il personale, sempre attento e discreto, ci ha coccolati per tutta la serata, garantendo un servizio impeccabile e curato nei minimi dettagli. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chiunque voglia vivere un momento speciale, in una location unica che combina alta cucina, eleganza e un’atmosfera indimenticabile. Ho partecipato al brunch di Capodanno al ristorante Acanto del Principe di Savoia ed è stata un’esperienza di grande livello. Cucina eccellente, proposta raffinata e materie prime di qualità. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, elegante e sempre attento. L’ambiente è sofisticato e perfettamente in linea con l’importanza della location. Unico piccolo aspetto migliorabile la gestione del welcome e delle code di accesso alla sala, che in alcuni momenti ha fatto perdere un po’ di fluidità all’accoglienza. Nel complesso, un’esperienza assolutamente positiva e consigliata.
The food was truly exceptional, the best meal I tried in the WHOLE Italy so far ❤️ the stuff was welcoming, the food was great, lights and music was quiet enough to make an intimate atmosphere, I would rate this place 1000/10 and especially want to admit how attentive and helpful was our waiter Jean Pierre :)
This review is for the wonderful dinner we had at the restaurant with our friends a week ago. Ambiance is always perfect for conversation; also elegant without being stuffy or theatrical. Great place for a business meal or simply a solid dinner. Every single thing we ate was delicious. We had eggplant appetizer, lobster, spaghetti with clams, branzino al cartoccio…gelato, chocolate dome, etc. It was all delicious. Very good wine list too. Best service from Nicola ALWAYS! He’s a gem. Already planning a comeback. Note: another reviewer noted that people were being rude and staring at them and incredibly, we did experience this same weird behaviour. The table next to us kept their attention and eyes literally fixated at us. Rude and weird. LOL. Nothing the restaurant can do or be faulted about.
Everything about this place is excellent. Upon my arrival it was a bit “awkward” but as the evening progressed it felt like I was right at home. I attended with my mother to end our two week stay touring Italy, and I’m glad I chose this place. Our waiter was excellent and charming. I wish I got his name. We were also greeted by a woman with an Afro puff ponytail. Very lovely woman who also gave me their business cards with their other locations. One is in Beverly Hills which I will check out. We got the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Absolutely worth the price. My mother enjoyed everything from beginning to end which is all that mattered to me. When I arrive in Milan I will be back to this place. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of were the other people in attendance which has nothing to do with the restaurant. The looks I received from other people (who again are NOT the staff) I found distasteful. Some of these tourists are so rude and need a lesson in manners 😒
Delicious food. Not busy on rainy Tuesday night. Traditional restaurant with a class. Silent music and atmosphere I did like. The pasta 🍝 with octopus was very tasty and love their home made bread. Tastes better then looks. Nice piccola pasticceria 🥐 free of charge with your coffee. Big selection of high quality wine. I could enjoy my red wine 🍷 without the headache the next day. Highly recommend .

Went to celebrate a birthday here and we booked the course menu on the fork. It came with an aperitif before and then dinner in the restaurant. Amazing food quality and wonderful ambiance. Had a very pleasant experience, if you’re looking for a good meal with special treatment I recommend.
We had a family dinner at this restaurant. My daughter and I were charmed by the staff and level of service. The staff did not leave our side for a long time, always trying to anticipate our wishes. They were very nice and friendly from the moment we arrived until the end of our dinner. Everything we tried was beyond praise. Excellent Italian cuisine! Everything was perfectly cooked, the octopus and beef in the pasta were very soft and tender! Amazingly delicious pasta, artichokes, desserts! Excellent selection of wines! We were very pleased! Next time we are in Milan, we will definitely have dinner here!
Reserved this restaurant for an anniversary. First noted the very luxury style decoration, the environment was very amazing. The waiters were absolutely fantastic, especially Nikola (our waiter who was the funniest waiter I have ever seen). Food was delicious and at the end we got a surprise for our anniversary as a plate with "happy anniversary" written in chocolate and a candle. The sommelier was also very professional with the wine list and provided us with excellent wines with our foods. We loved it and will for sure come back for another fantastic dinner. Thank you.
What a culinary feast it was to dine at Acanto and as your expected from a 5 star hotel, you got the 5 star service all the way thru. Not to mention the food was astetic pleasenent to see when being served and when it was revealed /presented. Some of the dishes was a classic but you had some classic dish with a twist ,it was a unparallel sensory overload. Located at hotel Principal du savi, the resturant is open for the public as well, and during the morning it is where the hotel serve breakfast. Our dinner reservation was a bit later in the afternoon so thankfully the resturant was not busy and loud. The staff was brilliant and very attentive, and the bartender's knowledge of the variouse local Italian alcohol is mind-blowing. My colleague wanted to try a certain type of drink but she didn't remember the name the brand and the place where it was made, but she gave a explanation of the taste and where she think where it was approximately from. So the bartender came over and he brought the whole bar with him. I think we might to hungry cus we ordered a bit to much but I'm glad that we tried a diverse food. The experience was a nice culinary feast with interesting and imaginative twist to some of classical dish.
If you’re looking for a top notch romantic dinner in Milan, I highly recommend Acanto. Starting the entry, you’d notice the exquisite interior, and superb service. The staff took our coats and provided a special stool for my purse. The service was quick, and the host gave us great recommendations. Can’t get over how beautiful and romantic the restaurant itself was. The food was great and the wine was absolutely fabulous. The dessert was a piece of art. We had the pistachio mousse, and they have us complimentary chocolate in chess pieces shape. Will definitely go again when in Milan.
My favourite dinner in Milan. High quality fine dining for a more reasonable price than many of the competing restaurants in the area. The staff was highly attentive and accommodating, but most of all, the sommelier was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable and had a deep understanding of Italian wines especially. I did the full set-menu with wine pairing, with all wines from different regions of Italy, pairing perfectly with each course. Only one of the pairings was a bit off for my taste, but the Somm switched it out right away and gave me a few other things to taste instead. In terms of food, the scallops were probably my favourite (very interesting with a green pea sauce that I never would have thought to put with scallops, but it worked really well). The only dish I would say was a miss was the foie gras in the shape of a caprese salad (not pictured). it was highly innovative but kind of missed the mark taste-wise. Overall, I would definitely return.
Service -from the second we stepped into the restaurant we felt welcomed. The hostess gave us options as to where we preferred to be seated. Our service captain, Max was attentive, professional and courteous throughout our dinner meal. Food/Value -Tasting menu for €90 was a tremendous value that included appetizers like scallops and wagyu beef, entree included pasta and beef tenderloin, dessert, petite four and coffee. Ambiance -Classy dim lighting, table cloth dining setting with beautiful marble floors. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our dining experience at Acanto.
This place is amazing, very cosy, romantic, peaceful... You can enjoy a delicious meal with amazing wines, champagne Veuve Cliquot... The terrace is very nice and the staff is very helpful and pleasant. I am a vegetarian and for some meal I was not quite seduced (we took the tasting menu with wine and for one meal I hade just a ruccola salad with Apple...) but, generally speaking, I have to say that this place is amazing, you have to go ! :)
Sigh. This started out great. It is a beautiful place and some great food but 2 things: 1) we did the tasting menu and one course was spaced like 45 minutes from the previous as they had a rush 2) it is in a hotel and a table sat next to us with 3 little kids going crazy and one of the mothers playing videos on her phone at high volume. Not cool. But food and wine were great. As I understand from other reviewers they won’t let you dine in shorts (which has no impact on my experience), but apparently are happy to have disruptive children and adults. Yay.
Xmas day dinner with my wife. 1./ Inflexible reception: booked 1930 and turned up 10 mins in advance (courtesy), not allowed to go inside (like taking Italian trains that let u know the platform only @ last minute (if no delay) 2./ pretentious wine service: apparently gd by showing u the labels, telling u the stories etc but when the wine service man poured a new bottle of Leuta/ Syrah Cortona 2019 too quick (and bottle too lean), that made my wine glass stem wet with wine, he did nothing to dry the stem, that’s not up to standard for a fine restaurant (I earned my WSET diploma in 2013) 3./ oyster dish too salty and fishy: either oysters/ carvier not fresh or something else went wrong. Apart from these, beautiful place and good service that deserved a star. I knew they lose it this year so I gave them a replacement one here. Enjoy!
