Mi sono fermata a pranzo con mio marito, abbiamo mangiato a pranzo e il cibo era buonissimo, il personale molto gentile e il luogo gradevole, sul Naviglio Grande. Il prezzo molto onesto. Esperienza da ripetere!

Se cercate un locale tipico milanese, molto pulito, ordinato, con personale estremamente gentile allora potreste provare questo ristorante.. non ci credete ? Vi invito nell’’andare ! I turisti sono ben accetti e vi trattano come persone , non come polli da spennare !

It was our first time in Milan, and while exploring the canal area we decided to stop at Bellariva for dinner. We tried the local Milanese dish, ossobuco. I wasn’t familiar with it before (it’s some kind of braised veal shank), but I love trying new things, and it turned out to be wonderful. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and we even had a nice chat about their background and the restaurant’s story. Special thanks to the chef and the team for making us feel so comfortable. Great food, great people, and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend!

We stopped for a later night snack and got french fries...as an fry aficionado, these were spectacular. I can't comment on any other food, but these were crisp w/ tender inside and perfectly salted.

We stopped by for dinner at this cozy and nice place and were pleasantly impressed by the food! Everything was so delicious! Veal kidneys in brandy are to die for! Spaghetti with seafood and smocked goose breast are exceptional too! Highly recommend this place! Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Bonus points for the view on the canal!

We stopped by because we couldn't visit the famous seafood restaurant (Al ponso), but it was a really fantastic place. We were able to make good memories in Italy with the fantastic menu that our children also really like.

This a great restaurant on the canals. Pretty good food and service, the wine list is also good especially in regards to local wines. The prices are reasonable.

Mio marito ed io abbiamo cenato ieri sera al ristorante BellaRiva. Abbiamo scelto un risotto Carnaroli giallo con la raspadura (cottura perfetta come piace a me: cremosa e con i chicchi che si distinguono ma non sono troppo al dente) e ravioli ripieni di melanzana con pomodoro fresco a dadini e basilico (fatti in casa, buoni). Di secondo abbiamo scelto la cotoletta milanese di vitello con l'osso, con patate al forno e insalatina mista: cottura adeguata, carne morbida, non unta, un po' troppo battuta e sottile per i miei gusti, ma buona. Per dolce abbiamo ordinato torta cioccolato e pere (gusto equilibrato, non troppo dolce) e mousse al cioccolato in cui ho percepito troppo liquore, perciò ho scambiato il piatto con mio marito, che invece ha apprezzato. Gradevolissimo il calice di rosso Franciacorta e il Passito che ha accompagnato il dolce. Porzioni adeguate tendenti all'abbondante. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale cortese, ambiente accogliente. Ci torneremo.

Locale molto carino se si vuole fare una buona cena sui Navigli. La qualità del cibo è ottima, anche nel modo in cui viene presentato. Il personale è molto simpatico e cordiale. Consigliatissimo.

We ordered lasagna and carpaccio di bresaola (photographed) with a side of fries as the dishes don't come with any sides or salads. The food good. Typical wine and beer selection. In the evening, the canal is full of people and music from other restorants can be heard. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Locale molto accogliente sui navigli. Servizio veloce ed efficiente, prezzi alti, forse in media con i locali della zona (€8 per gli spaghetti al pomodoro, 14 per i ravioli di zucca). Il locale é bello sia all'estero che all'interno.

Medio e nella norma. Mangiato riso giallo con raspadura (buono) e cotoletta di pollo con patatine (sufficiente). Locale storico con elementi architettonici contemporanei. Insomma un ristorante tipico Milanese ma turistico. Ne proverei altri dovessi ripassare dai navigli milanesi.

Really, it might probably be the best food I have had during this three days I stayed in Milan, but the point is the service was not really good, I was the only customer during I had my dinner at this restaurant, they didn’t even say “enjoy your food” or anything else. I don’t thing ‘customer service’ should be like this.

Accattivante la location per il resto...si può fare meglio. Abbiamo mangiato discretamente però pagato eccessivamente. Risotto con ossobuco al "modico" prezzo di 28 euro, eccessivo il prezzo sia per qualità e quantità. Risotto con barbabietola (da menù del giorno) insapore. Per finire caffè a 3 euro!!! Non riesco a giustificare il prezzo. Come non è giustificabile il coperto di 2 euro per tovagliolo e tovaglietta di carta. Sicuramente non ci ritorneremo più.

Strange and awkward experience. We asked for a table for four at the entrance and were told yes, but when we followed the waiter, it turned out the table didn’t actually exist. He then began moving tables together while we stood awkwardly between two occupied tables. Eventually, we were seated, and another waiter finished setting up the table. We needed extra time to look through the menu as it wasn’t properly translated. That’s not the restaurant’s fault—we understand it’s on us for not knowing Italian—but the extra time was necessary to translate it ourselves. Despite this, the waiter approached us 3–4 times in a short span, which made us feel rushed. When we asked for a wine recommendation (since there are no descriptions on the wine list), the waiter just shrugged and pointed randomly at one, offering no explanation or interest in helping. To top things off, after paying by card, we wanted to leave a small tip in pound sterling—the only cash we had at the time. The waiter dismissed it, saying the country only operates in euros and that he couldn’t be bothered to exchange it. He told us if we really wanted to leave a tip, we should have done so by card. Overall, it felt disorganized, inattentive, and unwelcoming. A disappointing experience.

Weiter was very rude as 4 of us ordered 3 dishes, making a comment in a rude way "Only 3 dishes for 4 of you?" They charge us for 2eur x4 in total 8eur for grocery shopping bread sticks that you can by for 0,15c as "coperto" At the end They tried to charge us for the Tiramisu that was never delivered even so we ordered it. When we ask for wifi he said yes we have, give me a min. and he never came back... I was trying to order another beer but with no success. Overall impression is that he deliberately mistreated us as we ordered 3 dishes for 4 of us... Pizza that we ordered was not a Pizza but half an inch tich bread with staff on it, and this is not exaggeration. Absolutely disgraceful food and service, prime example of a tourist trap.

Absolutely terrible experience – avoid at all costs! We were a group of nine people, three families, and from the moment we arrived, the service was shockingly bad. The waiter couldn’t have cared less about us, especially when we politely asked to pay separately. He was rude, dismissive, and made it very clear he had zero interest in helping us. The food? Absolutely awful. Bland, overcooked, and nowhere near fresh. It honestly felt like they just didn’t care about quality or customer satisfaction at all. This place is a complete disaster. One visit was more than enough – we’ll never be back. Save yourself the trouble and go literally anywhere else. Bella Riva? More like Bellriva Again.

Terrible place when it comes to service. We should have left when it took forever just to get the drink. The food took over an hour. No complaints on the food though. It was good pasta. But we couldn't enjoy it since we had to hurry off to our guided tour that we almost missed due to this place.
