Ho scelto il Foyer come ristorante per organizzare il pranzo di laurea di mio figlio. Ho trovato un ambiente accogliente un servizio ottimo ed un menù eccezionale proposto con cura. Personale gentilissimo, anche la custode dei bagni! Ambiente raffinato, elegante, curatissimo in ogni dettaglio. Un locale raccolto anche quando vi sono molti tavoli occupati. La cucina eccellente in materia prima, preparazione e presentazione. Forse un po' cara la carta dei vini, comunque eccellenti. Vorrei abitare a Milano solo per venire più spesso...

The food and wine we had were excellent. It took longer than we expected for our dinner to arrive and due to having to leave for the opera, our dessert came out a little too quickly after the meal than we would have preferred. Great experience though.

I was grateful for the care taken by our particular waiter to avoid my allergies, and I found that the shrimp and roe was delicious without the spicy sauce. The bread boats were delightful and creative. The soup would have benefited by some salt, or perhaps herbs; the mashed potatoes and gravy were outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the cod, and its sauce. The cheesecake was delightful. My sister tells me that the tiramisú is the best she has ever had. Thank you for a marvelous dining experience.

This place is spectacular! Very upscale dining that comes with a matching price point. We had the the two course option which came with an included prosecco and apertivo. We had risotto, osso bucco and tiramisu. All were excellent. Great wine selection too. If you’re looking to treat yourself before the opera, I’d recommend.

A Perfect Pre-Opera Dinner We visited twice – once spontaneously after an opera, enjoying a beautiful evening on the terrace, and then for a dinner reservation with friends before another performance. The ambiance is exceptional – elegant architecture and interior design that perfectly set the mood for an opera night. Wonderfully tempered and very comfortable.From the first moment, we felt truly welcome. The service was warm, attentive, and professional. We enjoyed a delicious three-course menu, excellent aperitifs, and a fine wine selection. Dining in the same building as the opera house made the evening wonderfully relaxed – an ideal setup. Special thanks to the team for assisting with our reservation when the system didn’t allow booking for five. An outstanding experience from start to finish – highly recommended!

Great place, with delicious snacks and desserts in the bar… elaborated cocktails and perfect risotto allo zafferano… we enjoyed the place before La Scala performance but it is also great for other occasions…

2nd visit to Il Foyer this break. Cappuccino and a cheeky Rossini. The cakes and biscuits are more than delicious and the panini was just what we needed. Worth a visit if you visit La Scala and only a short walk through the beautiful Galleria Vittoria Emanuele 2 from Piazza Duomo. Fabulous xx

Siamo stati qui per colazione. Il foyer è una bella location, il personale è gentile, i dolci e il cappuccino sono buoni. Anche i prezzi, nonostante la location, non sono esageratamente alti. Del resto, ci troviamo alla Scala, e anche la location contribuisce al prezzo. Non capisco perché le recensioni siano basse.Cmq da tornarci sicuramente

Il Foyer è il caffè ristorante del Teatro La Scala, a Milano. Location raffinata e ospitale, ottime le sfogliate, buona la scelta in generale. Prezzi molto onesti. 2 cappuccini, 2 croissant alla crema, 1 bicchiere d'acqua, 9 euro. Consigliato

Instagram: dovesimangiamilano Ho bevuto un calice di vino bianco (€12) presso il Foyer, un bar-ristorante situato in centro a Milano a fianco il teatro alla Scala. Il locale è elegante e raffinato con sedie e divanetti di colore rosso. II personale è cortese e disponibile, tuttavia, è stato disattento all'ingresso perchè dopo essermi seduto al tavolo mi hanno fatto spostare in un altro tavolo. L'aperitivo comprende il drink accompagnato da tre piccoli assaggi molto gustosi, inoltre, una porzione di patatine ed olive. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo considerando che il locale si trova in centro a Milano. Consigliato per coloro a cui piace bere un drink di qualità in un luogo raffinato.

Il locale è molto elegante e raffinato. Personalmente trovo tutto il personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Tutto molto buono. Non è economico certo. Ma la cosa mi pare evidente e nulla si può pretendere!

An exclusive restaurant with luxurious and richly theatrical interior. The food was delicious and beautifully served, but for the price I would have expected much more. Apparently a very large part of the price has to be paid for the location. The service was attentive, but very sophisticatedly cold. In a way, even such a cold service matched the interior and aura of the place well. The prices are quite steep.

Didn’t try the restaurant of La Scala Opera Theater, just had coffee and a mediocre cruffin. The double cinnamon roll needs to take a trip to Denmark to see how it’s made properly. Nice ambience though.

Place was comfortable, food was really great, but service was a bit slow towards the end of the meal. Club sandwich was delicious as was the tuna crudo salad. Lovely presentation as well.

The only nice and truly caring staff member was the asian woman with the short hair, the rest of the staff never smiles and it's a little too rude. The rest is extremely fine! Works as a bar as well, the bathroom is gorgeous but one was broken. Many compliments to the Marketing team!!

My wife, our 7-month-old child, and I visited your restaurant. After placing our order, it was time to feed our baby breast milk. My wife tried to do this inside the restaurant and returned after 10 minutes, saying that we would not be coming back. The reason is simple: your restaurant has no place for feeding children, and the staff explicitly said that it is impossible to feed a baby there. Such treatment is unacceptable. If the restaurant positions itself as a high-class establishment, it must be prepared to accommodate families with young children. The absence of even minimal facilities for feeding a child is a serious service failure.

Unfortunately, the reviews are spot on. The food is good, but the service is a big zero. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and entitled, save for one sweet lady who was the hostess that evening. Even the manager of the restaurant himself perpetrates a culture of entitlement and rudeness. The restaurant’s staff really needs to learn how to operate a service business. They need to learn customer service 101.

Siamo stati in questo bar in attesa dello spettacolo alla Scala e siamo rimasti colpiti dall’eleganza del locale. L’ambientazione è interamente ispirata al teatro, con sedute in velluto rosso e un bancone raffinato, creando un’atmosfera che richiama la Milano più sofisticata, ma con un tocco di stile distintivo. Al nostro arrivo, il primo barista che ci ha accolti era giovane, elegante e molto educato, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza iniziale davvero piacevole. Tuttavia, poco dopo, è subentrato un altro bartender, dall’aspetto più informale, con capelli gelati e numerosi tatuaggi. Il suo atteggiamento poco curato, i modi sbrigativi e i movimenti rumorosi hanno completamente spezzato l’armonia del luogo, dando l’impressione di trovarsi più in una discoteca che in un bar di classe. Peccato, perché il locale merita davvero e potrebbe offrire un’esperienza impeccabile con una maggiore attenzione al servizio.

Croissant molto buono e latte macchiato buono anche se avevo chiesto la cannella e ce n’era traccia ma poca quasi invisibile ad occhio nudo. Ambiente strepitoso anche se ho pagato il tavolo fuori per stare al sole con vista sulla piazza e mi hanno messa sotto il portico contro il muro dietro la postazione dei camerieri con vista sui tovaglioli. Sono molto delusa da questo.

Ci siamo fermati per un caffè che ci è stato portato praticamente freddo. Sicuramente ottimo il servizio del personale, ma il caffè non all’altezza

This is one of the worzt restaurant I have ever eaten at. I’ve never actually gagged from the food when I tried to say sometjing they didn’t even pay attention. My salad had ketchup. The price’s aren’t low but the quality of the food is terrible. I’m absolutely shocked and disappointed.

I had booked a two-course meal for 80 euros together with my ticket for a performance at La Scala. When we arrived, we were given a large complete menus ; we informed them that we had reserved a two-course menu. They brought us another menu without explaining what we were allowed to choose from: I ordered a starter (a soup) and a main course (the codfish) — for 80 euros, this ended up being way much more expensive than the same dishes à la carte, even with the complementary drinks. The waitress gave us no explanation, answered in a vague or even aggressive manner. No one on the staff smiled or greeted us. We were not offered any bread. Overpriced for the quality of the food, and unacceptable service for such a price.

Paid £10 for a glass of juice just to find out that it was actually Innocent juice… what a joke. And when we asked for a glass of tap water for my mum to take a pill, the waiter said that we will have to buy a bottle. I wish I had read the reviews first before stepping into this place. Avoid if you can.
