Tried the truffle mushroom ravioli filled with mushroom and cheese with truffles on top, simply amazing! Second was gnocchi with marinara sauce so fresh you would not want to waste a single bite with generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top.

I found this place while looking for pizza nearby and it was a great choice. The atmosphere feels balanced, with both tourists and locals. Service is fast and attentive. Emilio, the host, is very charismatic and greets guests in many languages, which makes the experience memorable. I ordered the Mamma Mia pizza: generous portion, tasty, and hard to finish alone. The bread served with the meal was also very good, and they make sure you have olive oil on the table. Arrive before peak hours, as there can be a line outside. A solid spot for a good meal in Milan.

We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains and they brought us lots of extras - portion sizes are very generous was extremely hard to get through it all. The food we ordered was gorgeous and very authentic. This restaurant is bustling even at 1 PM, with a queue of eager diners. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait long for our turn. The waiters were cheerful, energetic, and attentive, adding to the great dining experience. We tried several dishes, and I highly recommend the lobster pasta and the grilled sea bass—both were absolutely delicious. A wonderful spot for a memorable meal!

Great restaurant found it by mistake and we are so happy. We are in a food tour of Greece and Italy and we can honestly say that the lobster pasta and the pizzas we had are the best we have had in this trip. Possibly ever. Highly recommend and ask Mauriccio to choose the wine. Great service with great food and great atmosphere.

What a great place! From the very beginning we had an excellent experience. The team went out of their way to give you a warm welcome and make you feel at home. We ordered a plate of pasta and one of risotto, both with truffles. We were served very quickly with a high quality meal! The taste was so amazing, not too strong but not too mild either. The prices are high, but who cares as long as you have customers willing to pay for it :) I can only recommend a visit there.

Pranzo veloce in questo bel locale a Brera. Il cibo è squisito, nulla da dire. Frequentato spesso da vip soprattutto calciatori delle squadre di Milano. A 15 min a piedi dalla stazione metro Cairoli, facile da raggiungere. Purtroppo il locale è stretto, seppur capiente, ed anche i tavoli sono troppo avvicinati. Il servizio risulta veloce ed anche un po' "ossequioso". Prezzi sopra la media, ma ci sta, trovandosi questo locale in un quartiere esclusivo di Milano. Da ritornarci, comunque.

Locale carino situato a pochi passi dalla Pinacoteca di Brera. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo posto dalla cucina milanese con influenze napoletane. Abbiamo preso un risotto con l'ossobuco molto buono, dei fiori di zucca e due lasagne fatte secondo la ricetta napoletana (c'era la mozzarella al posto della besciamella e dei dadini di prosciutto, non siamo abituati a questa loro rivisitazione ma in compenso erano molto buone). Purtroppo il locale è piccolo e stretto, però il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile e ciò ha reso la nostra permanenza piacevole. Consigliato!

Durante le giornate del salone del mobile abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare al ristorante Il Kaimano, nel cuore della vivace Brera a Milano, e l'esperienza è stata davvero positiva. Fin dal nostro arrivo, l'accoglienza è stata calorosa e il servizio si è dimostrato attento e premuroso per tutta la serata. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato i paccheri alle melanzane, un piatto che ci è stato gentilmente consigliato dal cameriere. Passeggiando per Brera abbiamo visto questo ristorante - pizzeria napoletana. Essendo di fretta abbiamo optato per la pizza, ottima scelta vista la sua bontà. Sale interne particolari e caratteristiche con tutte le foto di personaggi passati dal ristorante è molto cimeli calcistici. Prezzi un po’ alti ma credo in linea con il quartiere.

Di passaggio a Milano in cerca di qualcosa di tipico in piena Brera ho provato il kaimano … ossobuco con risotto …. Buonissimo. Il locale è tipico tradizionale sia negli ambienti che nel menù qualche richiamo per i turisti ma tutto sommato è ancora milanese. Ossobuco con risotto buono e gustoso accompagnato da vino e pane caldo abbrustolito …tappa da considerare.

Capisco perché dal voto. Coperto di 11% ed informazioni poco chiare, ad esempio non c'è il prezzo dell'acqua nel menù. Il cameriere mi ha detto che costava 3 euro la bottiglia, ma erano 4. Sono queste piccole cose che rovinano l'esperienza. Il servizio è stato abbastanza veloce. Il cibo è abbastanza buono e saporito. C'era un menù stagionale dedicato ai porcini.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The food was good — maybe not the best you’ll find in Italy, but enjoyable overall. We tried the eggplant Parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, and bruschetta. The eggplant Parmesan was flavorful and nicely prepared, and the bruschetta was fresh and tasty. The meatballs, however, tasted a bit store-bought and could have been more in flavor.

We got two small bottles instead of one grande. The waitresses were italian style but not rude. They are loud but it is fun. We asked for a glass of prosecco but they poured more (10 eur a glass) and asked for double. It is not very bad experience but it is not perfect as well.

You're in a neighborhood that has 90% tourists, 9,9% restaurant staff and 0,1% local inhabitants in the streets? Don't expect a hidden gem and neither an authentic experience. With this in mind, our dinner was pretty good. Pizza was delicious as well as the Pasta & Risotto. The stuffed and deep fried Zucchini Blossoms a highlight. Price level same as city center and not shocking. Again, if you are looking for something cheaper, authentic and calmer, avoid this area. You will miss out on the picturesque small streets, houses and lively crowd though.

The walk to our table felt like a two-hour hike. The place looks small but stretches endlessly inside. We were greeted by the blue glow of a giant TV in a packed dining zone. After waiting over 30 minutes, staff realized they’d forgotten our order and made up for it with a complimentary meatball (which was actually good). Our food finally arrived; the wrong pasta and a doughy, chewy, flavorless Frutti di Mare drowning in cheese. The pasta had barely any taste beyond plain porcini. Overall: chaotic, mediocre, and overpriced.

Il ristorante è situato in una delle zone più centrali e “di tendenza” di Milano, ma purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente sotto ogni punto di vista. Ho avuto la netta sensazione che il locale sopravviva esclusivamente grazie al flusso turistico, perché per chi cerca qualità e attenzione al cliente non c’è davvero nulla da salvare. Il personale si è dimostrato scortese e poco disponibile, ignorando richieste chiare e mostrando difficoltà evidenti nella comunicazione, cosa inaccettabile per un ristorante di questo livello e in questa fascia di prezzo. Rapporto qualità-prezzo assolutamente sproporzionato: eravamo in tre e ci sono stati serviti piatti con porzioni ridicole (circa 30 g di pasta a persona), per un conto finale di 140 €, senza alcuna giustificazione né nella qualità né nel servizio. Un’esperienza frustrante e deludente. Non tornerò e non lo consiglierei a chiunque abbia un minimo di aspettativa su cucina, servizio e rispetto del cliente. PS:Forse sarebbe il caso di investire meno sull’immagine e molto di più su formazione del personale, qualità reale dei piatti e attenzione verso chi paga. La posizione non può compensare tutto.

‏The food at Ristorante Pizzeria Il Kaimano was decent, but everything else was appalling. The host shouted at and mocked customers so aggressively that it was impossible to speak with anyone at my table. The service was rushed and careless – a fork was dropped on me without any apology. This behavior is completely unacceptable and ruined the entire experience. I am shocked that a restaurant in Milan operates this way, and I strongly warn anyone to stay far away.

We stopped by with my friend to grab a drink. The lady that approached us seemed nice at first, but it turned out that she was calling random people from the street to come to the restaurant (but it was to late to leave when we noticed). Not only did the waiter tried to give us water (payed 3 euros) that we did not want, but we were also forced TO GET UP AND CHANGE OUR TABLE while we were already drinking. The staff started to close half of the outside garden, loudly moved tables and almost shoved a plant pot onto us. Aperols and apetizer were fine but in general our experience was not pleasant.
